Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

"Happy belated birthday!" Vincent cried happily, thrusting his hands out from behind his back, a proud grin on his face. In his hands, sprouting from a clump of soil, was a tiny, green little plant, moving around and squeaking at the witch, it's leaves stretching out like a baby bird might do. It was a fat little thing, but Vincent had found it to be the cutest, while he was digging around his old garden, searching for just the perfect one. His fingers were obviously chewed on a little, a result of the other plants not liking being disturbed one bit, but he didn't really care as he held the plant out for her to take.

The plant's teeth snapped weakly, and there was a pink bow tied around it's chubby little head, a lame excuse for a hurried birthday decoration, but it was there none the less, "It's a Nero-Snap! Or.. a seedling, anyway." He shrugged, his black eyes shining, "Have it!"

Seeing that their confrontation had taken place only a few hours ago, Vahl was not expecting to be acknowledged by the demoness so soon. His fingers grazed against the welts that no doubt fit him like a bright, angry necklace as he spoke, noticing faintly at their tenderness. "Abaddon has been taken care of for now but it is only momentary. I gave you a couple days, possibly a week at most. Eventually he will want out once more, and there is no chain or shackle capable enough to keep that hound in check." Beneath the dark lashes, his gaze moved in remembrance, recalling the wall he had caught Abaddon captured in earlier. "At least none that we have in our possession," he murmured softly.

The sound of glass ringing against another drew his attention upward as Vahl eased a hand into a pocket, watching as she poured a glass full of colorless liquid. "They are preparing for war as well, Serathi. Not only did I find Abaddon restrained, but there was this as well." From his vest he procured a sizable chunk of crystal, scintillating between his fingers. It made a dull thump as he tossed it on a table between them, rolling for a short distance before stilling in the middle of the wooden surface. He gave it a short inspection then glanced at Serath, allowing a slight smile when he noticed her expression. "Pretty, don't you think?" Had he not returned his eyes back to the glittering structure, one might have thought the words directed at Serathi, his voice executed in its regular smooth cadence. "Conjured undoubtedly by one of them, in which most of it was gathered around your hound. What they were previously, I have no idea but I can say your pet will have fresh scars on his face come morning."

Ellie looked down at the little seedling, nibbling curiously at the ribbon on his head, then back up at Vinny, as her vision began to grow fuzzy and blurry around the edges as tears began welling in her eyes, soon rolling down her cheeks rapidly, "Vinny, I love it," she cried, taking the little seedling in her hands carefully. "Thank you so much, I can't- I don't even know what to say," she babbled on, caressing the Neo-snaps head lovingly.

Serathi glared as the crystal, stopping it with her hand, "Fairy magic," she said calmly, destroying the crystal with her hand effortlessly. "Let them gain allies, in the end it'll all end the same, Vincent and his little army dead or begging for my mercy," she smiled, sipping her glass. She glanced up at Vahl, noticing the new wounds created by her on him. "Vahl," she called, her eyes telling him to come to her.

"Ahh, it's not a that big deal," The demon waved off with a slightly awkward chuckle watching the tiny thing with a smile, "Just be careful around the teeth," He warned poking the little plant on the top of it's ribboned head, "They've got a nasty poison, they have. Harmless to demons, but I don't know how it reacts to witches. Don't know it this one is old enough to have developed it completely, either, but better safe than sorry, right?" The demon laughed, his eyes shining. The present seemed to have been a success, even if the girl was crying.

"Plus, he's gonna grow a lot, so that's a thing to consider too." He added after a moment of thought. The ones that had been in the old garden had heads the size of a car, but then again, some of them didn't, and they had been there for centuries.

The signal was apparent to the wisp, and in return he hooked a finger into his shirt and pulled it down in the slightest. "Are you wishing to add to the collection you've already give me?" he asked, noticing where her eyes rested. It seemed as if he would remain where he were, an act that would properly set her off, and for a moment Vahl entertained the idea of doing so.

But then he moved away from the hearth and perched on the table across from her, arms on either side of him while his head lolled to one shoulder. She was in touching distance - he only had to shift a knee and it would be knocking against her own, but he kept his hands where they were.

Serathi pulled Vahl's neck to her, kissing the wounds," A little pleasure with the pain, although to you, both are about the same," she murmured, sitting back in her chair, crossing her legs gracefully."So any idea how to start a fight between Vincent and Elinor?" she murmured, sipping her glass.

Ellie tilted her head pouting down at the little guy, "Where are we gonna put him then?....I don't think your apartment will be big enough if he gets that big, and definitely not in cafe since he could eat someone by accident....." she pouted, kissing the little plants head gently.

"On the roof, of course." Vincent deadpanned, "I wasn't kidding about it being large enough to house a garden. Though, that's only a temporary solution. Besides, I don't think it'll grow big anytime soon, it'll probably take a couple of years for him to reach full size." The demon shrugged with a smile, "What are you going to name him?"

Ellie smiled brightly down at the little plant as he munched on his ribbon happily, "Chomps," she smiled,"Cause it looks like he really likes eating," she giggled. "Can you go get me a pot, I wanna get him situated and happy," Ellie smiled kindly, tilting her head.

"Huh, I think Flame Master-Death-Muncher-Fangs would have fit him better," The demon mused, shrugging his shoulders with a grin, "But Chomps works too." With that, he let out a chuckle and headed into the kitchen to find her requested pot, emerging a few minutes later with a tiny, brown cup. "I couldn't find an actual flowerpot, but I think this should work, right?"

Ellie smiled, gently placing Chomps down in his new home, watching as he sniffed the cup curiously, before settling in his cup, content. "I think he likes it!" Ellie smiled brightly, rubbing under Chomps head causing him to raise his head happily. "So cute~!" she squeaked, giggling happily.

"Thank you Vinny, I really love it,"Ellie smiled, as Chomps nibbled playfully at her hair. "I love him, i really love him! He's just like a little plant puppy!" Ellie giggled, reaching up to kiss Vinny lightly on the lips.

"I'm glad, then," Vincent replied warmly, wrapping an arm around her waist, untangling her cerulean locks from the plant's sharp teeth, "It was fun getting him for you too, got to go back to my 'roots'." He joked lamely, wincing at his own pun.

"No...just..just no Vinny," Ellie laughed, giggling. "I'd love to see the house you gre up in," Ellie said wistfully smiling, "I'd always that you'd be a little rascle growing up," she giggled.

"Err..." The demon looked away sheepishly, a small, forced smile on his face. Dark, spindly hallways, creaky floorboards, spiraling, grand staircases that smelled of blood and closets containing forgotten, screaming souls in them came to mind as he thought back to his childhood. He shrugged at the witch, giving her a grin, "Nah, I was a weak kid, didn't have the energy to do much mischief 'till I reached my teenage years." He admitted, his grin faltering a little.

Ellie smiled, setting Chomps down on the bar gently. She hugging Vinny tightly burying her face in his chest, "I'm sorry, I made you remember something bad didn't I..." she murmured softly, looking up at the demon with worry in her silver blue eyes. "You don't have to answer me if something I say makes you sad or uncomfortable," she smiled encouragingly up at him, as Chomps nibbled at the things around him, curiously.

"It's fine," Vincent replied with a chuckle, a little surprised at the many emotions he could see swirling in her eyes, "I was just a little lonely growing up is all, nothing serious." He told her, running a finger over Chomp's fat head, swiftly avoiding having his digit bitten off, "Besides," He murmured with a dry laugh, "That was preferable, I think, to the company available."

"You didn't have servants growing up?.." she asked tilting her head. From what she could gather from what Vinny had told her, he had grown up pretty wealthy.

"Of course we did," The demon scoffed, a wry smile making it's way onto his face, "Jittery, terrified servants, afraid of their own shadows, who never spoke in case they said something wrong." Vincent shrugged, "Didn't make for great company. I did have a pet ferret at one time, though." He smiled, remembering back.

"Oh! You told me that once! You also said he tried to bite off your fingers," she giggled, holding Vinny's hand lightly. "I had a friend who had a ferret once, it was cute," she remembered fondly, smiling over at Chomps as he nibbled on the edge of a napkin.

"Yeah, he was a feisty little bugger," Vincent laughed, stretching his fingers out, pointing to a white, jagged line going over his thumb, "There, he nicked me pretty badly once when I tried to feed him. Loved that little thing though." The demon studied the mark, realizing that he hadn't really thought of the animal in years now, "You know, I think that may be one of the only nice things she ever did for me, actually. Getting me that tiny ball of four legged terror." He murmured with a wry smile, his fingers curling around Ellie's hand. "Named him Martin." He snorted.

"Wait....Serathi got it for you!? I always thought you found it, or a servant gave it to you!" she squeaked, looking up at Vinny with her eyes wide.

"Yeah, well, she also snapped his neck after about a year," Vincent relented with a noncommittal shrug, "And threw him to the fireplace while I watched, so I guess it wasn't that nice of a gesture." He laughed at her shocked expression, shaking his head, "I was seven, I took what I could get, Ellie."

Raya yawned then left the weirdos with there own business walking out of the backroom and into the cafe. She had her heart set on coffee and a lonely table. The teen scowled as she looked around the area. Full, dirty, Full... she thought as she looked for a table to sit at. The only table in her view that was people free sat right beside a table that contained some rowdy werewolves and after last time. No. She turned, walking out of the doorway then sat down at a random table, quickly looking over the occupent with vibrant hair then smiled, "Hello." She greeted doing a small wave then looked at her nails, which decided to get out of black mode and turn a pale yellow.

'Oh," she simply said looking down, "There goes any little hope i had for her," she half heartedly joked, squeezing Vinny's hand slightly tighter.

Maria broke her gaze from watching Chomps try and eat a knife, raising a eyebrow at the girl who had just decided to sit down with her, even though Maria was pretty certain she had never met the girl before in her life. "Hi?" she responded nervously, tilting her head at girl," Do...I know you from where? Work, school, did I sleep with you one night years ago?" she asked the girl.

Raya's eyes went the size of saucers, "No, No and that's impossible." she said sheepishly, who says that to a person? She thought to herself then awkwardly smiled, "Just a person looking for a seat..." the teen said quietly.

"Oh,cool," Maria smiled going back to watching Chomps, "I can't believe he got her a fucking mean eating plant," Maria sighed," You are amazingly romantic Vincent Buckley," she sighed.
