"now why would i do that?" Ase joked rubbing her head "anyway i don't mind moving on if you want to.

Raya looked down the street, sure enough there were strangers hobbling along, one man was even in the middle of the road. Her senses screamed at her to grab the man from the middle of the road and literally throw him to the sidewalk... but she thought better of it and continued down the street. After turning the corner she could see the festival, she smiled when her eyes landed on a bouncy castle. The place was basically a big carnival, minus the rides. She hummed quietly to the music, then looked at the kids who were dancing in a clearing of the crowd, That's so cute! she thought then looked at Jun, "Wanna get a corn dog? Or something else, to be honest I'm not sure what they have here." she said then looked over the crowd, noticing the guy she helped Jun drag up the stairs earlier, "Isn't that... What's his name... Oh, Oliver!" she said then pointed.

Maria pouted, as her stomach growled, "Food," she pouted, tugging on Ase's sleeve.

"I've never had time to explore the other kind," Vahl returned pleasantly and gave her shoulder a chaste kiss. "I'm always with you, that's why."


Smoothly, the wisp rose to his feet and retreated into the back room, changing back into his clothes. "Mind if I take him out for a walk?" he asked with a wicked glint in his eye then disappeared.


Dust settled around his footsteps as Vahl appeared before the cavernous opening, its dark jaws gaping wide and dark before him. With a flick of his wrist he sent the glowing orbs racing into the chasm. A quiet pause as the wisp waited, tapping his cheek patiently, and then the mountain shuddered and out burst the hellhound, jaws snapping, its two other mouths snarling viciously as it snapped at the orbs flitting just out of reach. Vahl stepped lightly to the side, drifting to a safe distance before alighting upon a branch where he could gaze downward into the valley below.


There was the city, leagues beneath them, and just off to the side was the near distant sound of celebration. He could make out the figures, and with a small grin, he waved his hand to the side and sent his lights fleeing down the mountain side and off to the location of the concert, Abaddon raging after.

"yeh sure i wonder if they serve porridge somewhere " She teased while looking around "we should probably bring Estelle home something to eat too"

"Yeah, I wonder if they have doughnuts, "Maria wondered out loud, pausing as she heard a inhuman growl echo across the entire festival, causing everyone to freeze and look around in confusion, "Wha-What was that?" Maria gasped, looking down at her arms covered in goosebumps. She looked at Ase confused, before the growl got louder and more frenzied, before Maria react saw a wave of people running toward her, away from something.


Estelle laughed at Alexander's face, opening her mouth to make another joke when she froze dropping the popcorn she was holding, as her face turned pale white, "Guys," she whimpered looking at a giant three headed dog, running toward the festival, destroying everything in it's path, "I think we need to go,now!!"she squeaked, grabbing Oliver's hand running away from the beast, as he finally reached the festival, attacking everyone and everything in his path.

Oliver, who had just been about to ask about the game booths, and where to find such things, froze up as a familiar, horrible scent hit his nose. It was faint, but to the imp, it seemed as though everything else in the park, the popcorn, the burnt rubber and even the sweat of the humans around them dissipated in favor of this one, and his eyes went wide, all color draining from his face. I know that scent.


As Estelle grabbed him, he flinched violently and stumbled backwards, his ears twitching to the sound of the thunderous snarls filling the air, silencing everything around them for one, terrifying moment. Oliver tried to say something, but his voice wouldn't come, and even if it had, he was sure the other's wouldn't have heard him anyway, over the rumbling growls of the beast.


He didn't dare turn around, and instead bolted after the witch, hoping Akira and Alexander had the mind to take their wings to use. As he ran after her, he noticed something familiarly white just a few meters away from them, and cursed under his breath. Sprinting over to the couple, he grabbed a hold of them, intending to drag them away from the scene, as quickly as possible. "We need to go," He stammered out, waving his hands around frantically, "T's not safe!"

Jun felt his mood brightened as they stepped onto the fairgrounds, finding Raya's own enthusiasm infectious as she pointed out Oliver in the distance. "Hey, you're rig - !" He was cut short as the air was suddenly filled with pandemonium. He was jostled from the side and then from behind, only managing to keep hold of the sweater with the tightest of grips.


"Raya!" Frantic, his eyes tore about him, finding himself suddenly seized by Oliver. In his other hand was Raya's sleeve, but she was turned away from him that Jun couldn't make out her features. "Oliver!" he gasped, "What's happening?" Far behind Jun watched in fear as trees fell in the distant, snapping like twigs by whatever was charging toward them.

"What is that thing!?" Estelle cried, running ahead of Oliver as her hair wigging with extreme distress. "It's like a giant hellhounds!!" she cried.


Ellie looked up as she heard the inhuman growl, her face growing pale,That can't be good,she thought nervously. "Vincent!!" Ellie cried, getting up from the bar, trying to find the blue haired demon.


"Ase, we need to go!" Maria cried, grabbing Ase's hand running with the mass of people, "Something bad is happening!" Maria yelled, wincing as she was shoved around by the panicked crowd.

 

[Uasal]

"you go on ahead i need to see whats going on" Ase said sternly trying to see through the crowd "if its something to do with the magical world and i don't stop it i'll have more paperwork to deal with tomorrow at work"

 

[Cryobionic]

"He's here." Oliver whispered harshly, his eyes wide and glowing brighter than usual, his face as white as the shade's locks, "We need to go!" As if to emphasize his words, the imp pulled on both of their hands, hard, in the opposite direction of the festival area. His whole body was trembling and there was beads of sweat running down his forehead. "Please!" Oliver felt himself flinch as another snarl ripped through the air like a sword piercing the heart of a child, and he tugged harder.

Raya gaped at the three headed dog that crashed into the festival. Wincing and dropping to her knee's as her power resurfaced, she hated it and she could tell that this was a lot of her power, not just the little sparks she got when someone fell or someone was cold. She hated it even more because she knew it was going to hurt like hell when it disappeared. She faintly heard someone talking infront of her, then her eyes lit up, looking like a living and breathing flame and to her horror she couldn't stop herself from charging forward and stopping in front of the demon dog. She was scared, horrified really but she felt like her legs just went to auto pilot and she was suddenly charging to her death.


She shook her head, Snap out of it! Get everyone out of hear then run! her head screamed at her. The teen threw her hands up in the air and to her dismay large walls of what seemed like tree thick vines rose from the ground and blade thick thorns poked out of them. She wanted to scream and run, but apparently her arms Disagreed. The ground rumbled and the vines stopped there growing, weaving themselves together as if trying to make a wall around the creature. She could make walls all she wanted but she knew if she didn't run she'd be toast. Literally.


Hey eyes widened in what seemed like pure horror as she saw a little boy who was running trip and nearly get trampled by the still fleeing crowd. Her hand shot in that direction, another tree like vine -without the thorns- breaking through the concrete, lifting the boy up and moving him to a safer distance. I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die, she repetitively thought yet took up a defensive stance.

"Ase!!!" Maria called out, as she was pulling away with the crowd, making her let go of Ase's hand. "Ase!!!" she screamed.


"Oliver, who is he!?" Estelle cried,"What is going on!?" she cried, as she was pushed around by the fleeing crowd.

Once the hound was near enough to the encampment, Vahl's fingers tightened into a fist and the lights winked out of existence. Enticed by the screams, Vahl quieted for a moment, concentrating. When he regained his bearings he was on the outskirts of the fairground floor, absorbing the panic that surrounded him. To his utmost surprise he spotted the familiar figure of the shade, the stark color of his hair giving him away amidst the crowd.

Oliver's grip on him was almost terrifying as Jun shot wild eyes at the imp. With a cry of dismay he watched Raya tear free of his grasp and dash toward the raging hound, disappearing within an instant. "But Raya!"

Spikes and walls of crystals joined the vines Raya created, Crystal Tree ents and gryphons started to distract the hellhound as a blur flew fast picking Raya up and soaring through the air.


Akira smiled as she looked at Raya in her arms "Are you an idiot? You could have gotten killed by that thing. walls won't hold it for long!" Alexander flew beside Akira as they approached the others.

Oliver shouted unintelligibly as a frustrated response to the crazy, blue haired girl, nearly shoving the shade to the ground in his panicked attempts to get the boy to move. When he didn't, the imp did the only thing he thought he could, and in his terrified state, this action seemed to be the most logical one. With a small yelp, he grabbed a hold of the shade's hands, closing his eyes in concentration. It took only a second for a tiny part of Jun's soul to seep into his core, but that was all he needed, before he grabbed blindly for the young witch's hand, and the imp's eyes flew open as flames engulfed the three. There was only one thought now running through his head, and he was reacting instinctively now, protect the master and his friends.


Within seconds they were inside the cafe, the smells of coffee and sweetness replacing the harsh scents of the festival. Oliver let go of the two, ignoring the startled yells from the other occupants of the rooms, as well as the exclamations of his friends, before instantly disappearing into a flash of flames and smoke once again, hoping he wasn't too late.


The screams of the people still alive at the festival instantly blasted his ears as he appeared in front of Akira, Alexander and Raya. He gasped out a faint, "Come," And held out his shaking hands for them to take.

Akira shoved Raya and Alexander to Oliver. "I'm going to make sure no one else was here, you get those two out of here first Oliver." she spoke before flying off to search.


She noticed Maria in the crowd and grabbed her hand lifting her up "If you are here so is Ase. Where is she? We need to get out of here now!"

"Oliver!!" Estelle cried, grasping at the rising smoke, "Estelle!!" Ellie cried, hugging the young witch tightly, "You're ok..."she sighed in relief. "What happened?" she asked the young witch, looking at her worried. Estelle stared at the ground whimpering as she tried to process what she saw, "I...Don't know..." she whimpered.


Maria squeaked in surprise, "Ase ran towards that....Thing!!" Maria cried, "What is going on!?" Maria cried, glaring at Akira.

Akira glared back at Maria "I don't know what is going on, I'd suggest you stop glaring at me unless you want me to hand you over to that hound. I'll get you to the entrance, I want you to wait for Oliver, he should be coming back for you. I'll go after Ase."

The imp grabbed a hold of their hands, having to almost restrain the blue haired girl, before flaming all of them back to the cafe again. He was starting to feel exhausted, but he couldn't very well stop now. There were still so many people left to fetch. Internally, he cursed himself for being out of shape for so long, and let go of both people's hands before stumbling forward a little, feeling his knees hit the wooden floorboards for only a moment as he once again went up in flames, disappearing out of the establishment.


When he appeared this time, it was in front of the angel, Ase. He stared at her for a second, before once again holding out his hand, giving her a faint smile. "C-come on," He murmured, watching the woman closely, "I'm going to get you b-back to the cafe."

"I thought you said if I got near you or him again you would kill me?" Maria asked, sighing.

 

[Uasal]

"oliver whats going on here !" Ase asked looking down at the boy hearing the beast roar again "and i can't leave now i'm the only angel within the vicinity !"

Akira sighed "Well if your in a life threatening situation NOT caused by me I'm not cool with that! I don't want you dieing unless you deserve it. I don't like you Maria, but I'm not heartless, I don't hate you either. Can't say the same for Ase since she beat the crap out of and almost KILLED Oliver. So sorry, Only reason I'd save Ase is because..." She trailed off "I heard you guys were having a child, I don't want that child to lose either of its parents." She sighed in sadness she flew back to the entrance setting Maria down gently her wings twitched in pain 'Damn it, I might only be able to get to Ase, I don't think I could fly her back. Seems as soon as I stopped contacting that woman my wings got worse. Damn dark magic users.'

Maria clenched her hands in fists glaring down at the ground, "Damn it..Don't start acting like a good person now," she looked down, tearing up.

 

[Cryobionic]

"You must!" Oliver urged, reaching out to grab her arm, only to miss and stumble over his own feet, just about managing to keep himself upright, "It's Abaddon, can't you tell?" He asked, trying to grab her again. "Now come on! We can't... We can't stay here or he'll fi-"


His sentence was cut off, as something crashed into him, and the imp was sent flying into the nearby 'exotic sausage' booth, his body slamming into the wooden structure, making the thing collapse around his now limp form, covering him in wooden splinters and debris. He tried to scream out a warning to the angel, trying to tell her that the beast was just there, looming over her, it's eyes shining yellow and murderous, but found himself unable to move.


The last thing he saw, was the three headed hell hound snapping it's massive jaws at the archangel.
