Mari picked up her daughter, and walked past the alleyway, where the cafe was, and Zero stood, unaware of the fact that he was there. She quietly talk to Lulu as she walked.

Akira smiled "Could you please get me a coffee Axton" Her eyes then lit up "actually.." she brought up the cake book infront of Axton Pointing to two different cakes, One a 3 layered rainbow cake the other looking like it had crystals all over it "Which one do you think is best? I think we need anothers opinion"

Zero saw tree girl and a strange woman walking past. He immediately said "Hold it!" He showed them his badge which shows that he's a detective "Sorry ma'am but where are you taking that little girl? That girl is a runaway who left that cafe over there when I was just about to go and question her, and I would like an explanation to why you have her." He smoked more of his cigarette.

Axton thought for a moment. "Get a three layered crystal cake. The crystals are beautifully elegant also the three layers are a part of human tradition and seeing that you want a mix of fairy and human that would most complement both sides. Do you still want coffee?" He asked both of them.

Akira nodded smiling "Thank you Axton, oh and yes I do still want coffee" Alexander raised an eyebrow at Axton "You're not bad actually, maybe you should be our wedding planner" he was half serious half joking.

Mari looked around, nervious. She wasn't technically supposed to talk to her daughter, or even be around her for that matter. Lulus stared hard at him, trying to figure out where she had seen him before. Finally, giving up, she stuck her finger in his face, and waved it. "Don't talk to her like that!" Suddenly, they were both lifted up in the air, high above Zeros head, by what seemed like nothing. They hovered over him, waiting for his next move.

Alexander smiled as Axton walked away turning back to Akira. "We'll have to make letters to invite people from different kingdoms we should write up a list of who we want."


Akira smiled "Kari definitely has to come, she always has the best party tricks." Alexander groaned "But I hate that little pixie" Akira raised an eyebrow at him "The Pixies are practically a fairies cousin! We must invite them!" Alexander sighed giving in "Fine but then I'm inviting the elves." Now it was Akira's turn to groan "But Inviting elves means Liorik would be there! After what I accidentally did to Prince Liorik a few years back I don't think I could face him ever again" Alexander smirked "I'm sure hes not mad about it, he was a pretty laid back guy remember? So what if you spilled the whole entire punch bowl on his favorite shirt. If Kari is coming so is Liorik, simple as that." Akira groaned her head hitting the table "I hate you" Alexander smirked "Love you too little bird"

Lulu leaned in to her mothers ear, and whispered something. Sighing, Mari slowly lowered them. "Fine. I'm her mother, and I'm taking her home. Anything else?"

Zero sighed "I see....... But then why was your child in the park sleeping in a tree all alone? And if you can't tell me then I'd like an answer from her." He smoked his cigarette some more as it now was halfway done.

Axton walked back out with the coffee and set it down on the table. "Well I'll leave you two to your business have fun." He turned around and walked back.

Raya snapped back into her head, noticing something outside. She had been sitting at the local library, tucked away in her usual study corner, minding her own business and day dreaming when she saw it, a girl being chased.


Her eyes suddenly glowed green and her nails turned red as she dashed out of the library with a vampire's speed.


Since she was a protector, seeing anyone in danger was like someone flipping her magic "light switch" on. Unless she was protecting someone, Raya was completely and utterly powerless.


When she caught up to the male -a nasty looking guy who reeked of drugs- chasing the girl she tackled him, sending him crashing to the hard pavement. He thrashed and kicked. Swearing at her then spitting on her shoe -which earned him a bloody nose- but she simply slammed her hand down on his head to knock him unconsious.


It was funny really, the short blue haired girl taking the burly street guy with a gun down, but she didn't make a big spectacle about it. Simply unarming the guy and checking up on the victim was her usual routine. One that she had done so many times, it was boring. Sometimes she wished she could be batman! so protecting people wasn't a primal instinct, more so a life choice -plus the batmobile would be pretty friggin awesome.-


After checking up on the girl and making sure she was okay, Raya inspected the area, her glowing eyes deciding to look around. It appeared she was in an alley... that smelled oddly like cake...


She wandered down and saw a bright open doored... cafe? "I'm hallucinating." She thought out loud then took cautious steps towards the place. There were some people outside but she didn't bother with them, instead walking inside a few steps then taking up a spot by the door. She couldn't put her finger on it but everyone in there seemed a bit different. Not that it bothered her but then she realized her eyes were still glowing, shit! She thought then slammed her eyes closed and willed them to stop glowing.

Admittedly, Jun felt a bit ashamed for not addressing the detective's earlier question as he had watched the man suddenly take off. Making a mental note to reply to Zero's inquiry once he returned, the shade swiveled in his seat and faced the entrance just as a new customer appeared, the customary bell announcing her entrance.


Had Oliver not appeared inattentive at that point, Jun would have resumed their previous conversation, but the imp appeared distracted by his own thoughts as he plucked out another chip and began to roll it in his palms. Deciding it best to leave him be he regarded the girl once more, curiously noting the twisted expression on her face, as if she'd tasted something sour. Or, based on how tightly she screwed her eyes, just witnessed something terribly disturbing in the cafe.


Jun wouldn't put it past her. Once he had made the mistake of watching a zombie partake in a single crumpet. Years of deterioration and decay had led to the automatic snapping of his finger when he had attempted to poke the strawberry pastry, proceeding immediately to his entire hand breaking off as he had tried to lift the tiny danish. As if aghast at his own disassemble the zombie's jaw had then dropped. Literally. Jun had watched in horror as the bottom half of his teeth had fallen into the cup of tea he had ordered earlier.


What followed after was Vincent and Ellie gingerly leading the decaying corpse out from the building before he could crumble even further and sicken the rest of the guests. Jun remembered how he had pushed away his own croissant, undoubtedly having lost his appetite.


From where he was the shade waited patiently, wondering if anyone had helped her yet. But based on how full the cafe appeared, he thought it highly unlikely. It felt odd to approach another, seeing that he generally preferred solidarity himself, but seeing her standing there by herself encouraged him enough to send him forward. Keeping a careful mind to remain beneath whatever shade possible available in the building, he sidled up to the girl and tilted his head to one side. "Did you need help finding a seat?" he asked.

Raya practically jumped out of her skin when someone said something, her nails suddenly turning a vivid green, "Wait I'm not hallucinating?" She asked quietly, looking the male up and down, then awkwardly poking him just to make sure, "Uh, a seat sounds nice." She said then looked around the crowded area, "Wherever this seat may be..." she added more to herself then anyone.


She noticed someone spill hot tea on themself and her eyes sparked a glow but she quickly pushed the sudden surge of power away, so someone spilling tea on theself activates my stupid abilities yet when I spill tea on my self I just have to suffer? She thought to herself. She suddenly snapped back to focus and held out her hand, "I'm Raya and you are?" The teen asked hoping her nails wouldn't decide she was happy at the moment and change color on her, "Also, why does this place feel so... different?" She asked with a quiet voice.

The act of crossing the space between them to give his tummy an expectant prodding made the shade jump. It hadn't been the first time he had been jabbed in the stomach and though he wasn't at all offended by it, Jun did wish he would receive an occasional warning. "You can take my seat if you'd like," he offered pointing towards the back of the cafe where the bar stool remained empty.


The boy swiveled on his heel and crossed back to where he was, making an odd escort as he kept near the walls and more than arms distance away from the girl. Jun remained standing when they arrived, supplying the answers to her previous questions. "Jun, and, what do you mean?" His tone was curious, nothing accusatory as he studied Raya. "This place is meant as a reprieve for any monster that you can think of. I haven't been here long but I've seen the Fae sweep here, all types of ghosts and ghouls, winged beings and clawed, and any other myth you can think of."


Jun took the girl's hesitation into sudden consideration as his eyes flew over her, fleetingly There were no supernatural markings or outward extending appendages that revealed her true nature.Whimsical design of any sort was completely lost on her, making Raya appear practically human to his eyes. Puzzled, he asked her, "Are you... Are you human, by chance?"

Monsters? Myths? It didn't shock her as much as she thought it would when she got confirmation that there were things like that. Seeing as she was probably one of them, "Um, you tell me because no one ever told me the definition of human and non human," she could do a trick or two when she wasn't protecting someone.


Raya held her hand in front of him and thought some happy thoughts her nails turning a yellowish orange, then some sad ones so her nails turned a deep blue, she kept thinking different thoughts until her nails had taken on all the colours of the rainbow. Then she drew her hand back to her side, "Is that normal...?" She asked, knowing that she couldn't do anything else unless someone decided to start a fight, which was highly unlikely.


"I can do some other stuff, depending on the circumstances. Let's say you just hit someone for no reason, you'd most likely be unconcious in seconds." She explained, though by the way Jun talked about myths and Fae she had a feeling he had a few tricks up his sleve as well.

"I guess it may seem a bit baffling when you first step inside," he agreed, "but everyone you see here isn't human." While he spoke he gestured to the middle of a room where a young Valkyrie lass was chatting pleasantly with a pair of satyrs, her feather crested helmet set off to the side while her sword remained disposed in a corner by a stack of wooden spears, which no doubt belonged to her companions. Jun wondered briefly where she had parked her horse before continuing, "There are, of course, the more obvious differences," again he motioned to the satyrs, glancing purposefully at their billy hinds as their skin twitched every so often, hooves scratching unconsciously against the floor, "and there too." Jun looked past Raya, watching a trio of thumb sized fairies chipping purposefully away at a sugar cube as they worked to form another sculpture, their other sugared replicas standing in a line behind them.


"Then there are those who are more subtle," he said and watched while Raya's nails switched seamlessly from one color into the next before stacking themselves into seven neat stacks, reflecting the full spectra. "We have a fairy here who does something similar, though it's with her hair." Jun would have introduced her to Akira then, but Raya was already continuing onto the next topic, this one sounding more explanatory than the rest.


Listening to her hypothetical situation, Jun knew he wasn't the most capable of physical combat but for her sake he followed through with the example, nodding his head as he tried to picture himself throwing a punch. "I would most likely be out for a couple of hours," Jun supplied, his tone encouraging her to carry on.

She continued listening trying to process everything, it was bit overwhelming knowing that her dreams and nightmares walked the earth but comforting to know.


She stifled a laugh when Jun said he'd be out for a couple of hours, then went to continue when a new person sat down near them and introduced himself, "Nice name, I'm Raya," of course she didn't have a clue what an incubus was so she just played along, "I'm a... thing." she stated awkwardly. Theoretically she knew what she was, just not exactly sure what it was called, "I protect people." Raya said a little more confident then before, she wasn't used to talking to anyone about what she did so she was a bit jittery but there was nothing to worry about so she quickly got comfortable.

"Judging by your reaction you don't know what an incubus is. I'm the male counterpart of a succubus. I seduce women to gain energy and such. Don't worry though I try to keep incubus matters outside of the workplace. Anyways it sounds like your a sort of watch dog. Always protecting those who can't protect themselves." He looked into her eyes. "I love your eyes by the way. They're beautiful and unique." He said with a smile.

Axton watched her. "Are you ok?" He said worried. "Don't worry you'll be ok anyways if people ask just tell them its a new nail polish that changes depending on someone's mood." He took her hand in his. "Is that a yes or no."
