3:01pm
Aki sighed as he sat at his desk, waiting a few seconds longer than everyone else, hoping to avoid the crowds he waited calmly, before gathering his things and picking himself up from his desk. He stood, before glancing over at the sleeping Katsu. What happened to you? he wondered a moment before he sighed, "I guess I might as well leave you a note" he said as he turned to unpack his pack and write a note for Katsu. He'd decided to head to Akihabara district, after all he'd grab that game that he'd seen, then maybe he and Katsu would have something to talk about tomorrow. He smiled faintly as he finished the note and laid it down before heading out the classroom door.
He'd walk down the halls with hesitant steps, hoping all the while that Katsu'd wake up in time to come and meet him. Of course that wouldn't happen, no, Katsu was fast asleep his head no doubt still hanging limply while thin stream of drool leaked from his agape mouth. Aki smiled faintly, though he couldn't say why, he just felt relieved since Katsu had returned to school. Though Katsu was definitely different than he remembered, he was sure he'd eventually return to his old self, he had to after all. Because Katsu was Katsu, the kid that was always running around with dreams of being the next rockstar to shake up the establishment. Aki turned a corner and headed down the stairs, thinking to himself all the way. He suddenly shuddered as he reached for his shoes, What if Katsu never came back!? What if there was no coming back from what happened? Afterall if Katsu was this changed, if he couldn't get himself back to normal then what hope did he have? What hope did anyone have!?
Aki grabbed his shoes and began to put them on in a huff, tying them tightly and shaking his head all the while. "no, no, no he's gonna come back" he muttered reassuringly to himself a moment before he finished tying off his left shoe. He grabbed his bag, finally calming himself down as he turned his attentions towards the door. His breath was still coming in ragged gasps, his panic attack not yet subsided as he forced himself to stand, grab his bag and head out towards Akihabara.
Of course he wouldn't make it far before a rather unusual girl appeared in the center of the courtyard with open arms. Aki paused a minute, his head turning from person to person as he watched people pass by the beautiful girl, their eyes meeting her before glancing down towards her many bags, and their tongues beginning to gossip.
"Does that girl go here?" one girl asked her friend as they passed the girl whom seemed to stay frozen in her embracing pose, " I don't know, What class is she in?" he friend responded.
"She's so pretty!" a petite freshman by the name of Modaka announced jovially, her voice squeaking in glee as she turned to her group of friends.
Meanwhile a group of freshman boys began to take their own conversation from Modaka's lead, "Yeah, but look at all those bags I bet she's a handful" one replied.
The bravest among them grinned, "I don't care bro, I mean look at her!" he announced as he gestured toward Momoko. "I must confess to her!" he shouted, to which his friends responded with shocked faces. The group of guys grabbed the boy by his collar before he could charge headfirst toward the mysterious beauty, "Cool down Romeo, you don't got a chance" they responded with exasperated groans as they dragged their friend away. "Noooo! My love!!" he shouted as he was dragged past the school gates.
His friends merely sighed, "Your love? Give us a break!!" they shouted at him, as they dragged him off. OF course they weren't wrong to be frustrated after all Tokome had a habit of falling in love with whatever type of girl his horoscope told him was right, last week it was Yamada, the week before that it was Modaka, and week before that it was Sensei!
Aki sighed watching all of this play out, he shook his head before returning his gaze to the mysterious new student. But by now the girl was kind of hard to make out, what with the flocks of guys that swarmed her. Aki eyes widened in surprise, of course she was surrounded by guys, she had practically invited them, and she was well she was beautiful, though maybe a little risqué what with the length of her skirt. Aki blushed a bit at the thought of what she was wearing beneath that skirt, though he quickly shook the thought away.
His face now cherry red with flush, and his ears practically burning as he hung his head low trying to walk past without being noticed. He'd just past Momoko and was heading toward the gates when Reiko burst out onto the scene, her anger already at what he imagined was its peak. Aki turned around just in time to see Reiko storm over to Momoko, the student council president would give this new girl a once over before recruiting the new student rather forcibly to accompany her on her Festival duties.
Aki sighed a breath of relief as he finally crossed the threshold of the campus gates, and rounded the corner. He'd wanted to stay, to say something or make new friends but something told him that it would all turn out the same. He'd end up the butt of some joke, or doing favors for some upperclassman until they got tired of him and finally told him off. After all those were the kinds of fleeting friendships he'd had, the kinds that just seemed to get worse when Katsu stopped coming to school, and the computer club closed down at their old middle school. Aki kicked a can as he headed for the train station, his mind so lost in thought that he didn't notice the mass of thugs that passed him as he reached the train station. Little did he know where the thugs were headed, or that the Student's Council's business would take them to the very same spot he was headed, on the very same train...
3:31pm
As Aki rode the train and neared his stop at Akihabara he glanced at the window watching the blur of scenery pass him. He loved the sight of the colors blending together as the train sped by, he smiled faintly before very familiar voices broke his concentration. Oh no! he thought to himself as his phone began to ring in his pocket, he didn't feel it though as he turned around. Suddenly greeted with the sight of the Student Council president, and the second in command.
Meanwhile...
Katsu growled angrily as Aki's cell went to voice mail, "Damn" he muttered under his breath as he sighed a breath of warm frustrated air. He kept glancing down at his phone, his headphones blaring as he began to dial in a text for Aki. "Damn how could he just let me oversleep like that! I could be grinding right now" he muttered, as a certain special someone shouted his name. Of course Katsu couldn't hear Harumi's school girl squeal over the chorus of the song that was booming in his headphones. The next thing he felt was Harumi leaping onto his back. Katsu's eyes widened in shock as he suddenly struggled to keep the two of them from falling face first into the dirt. Katsu cringed, a moment before Harumi began to shower him with her shallow kisses. Katsu blushed a bit, if only a bit before he turned the volume down on his phone, the music hushing so that he could hear Harumi. "Ha-Ha-Harumi Senpai!?" he asked almost in disbelief, though perhaps this was somewhat believable given her recent infatuation with him. He had just saved her with his MADs a little over two weeks ago, come to think of it, it was the second time he had ever used the blasted thing, and now she was straddling his back, her sizable breasts firmly pressed against his back.
Katsu began to start lecturing Harumi when that very detail began to become apparent, "Senpai you can't be doing this, I'm a freshman and-and I keep telling you I'm not the-the guy your looking fo-fo-fo-fo-for.." that last word was cut short by Katsu's realization. His face grew as red as a hot iron, as he his back flexed under the weight of Harumi, further pressing itself up against her breasts.
Kirruru laughed at Katsu's predicament, pointing and snickering before he glanced over to notice the thugs that were closing in on Katsu while he was so very distracted. "Umm Katsu~" the mischievous cat called out as he floated right above the boy, who was now attempting to set Harumi down on the ground. "Kaaaatsuu~" the cat called out, in an vain attempt to get Katsu's attention as the lead thug charged Katsu.
Katsu had just turned and placed Harumi onto the ground, after struggling to get her to release her unreal grip around his neck. "Okay now..." Katsu was cut off as he turned a bit, some strange wind causing him to turn into the punch of the massive boy that had charged him while he was so very unprepared.
Katsu went flying back, falling off his feet and tumbling into the dirt. His body rolled end over end a few times before finally coming to a stop. The group of thugs suddenly halted, laughing amongst themselves as Katsu lay face first in the dirt. The group laughed and began to turn their attentions toward the bewildered Harumi.
"Hey babe, why are you talking with a loser like him?" the first guy remarked as the others began to close in on Harumi, like hyenas to a corpse. As the men began to hit on Harumi, not even bothering to check on the freshman boy that lay still in the dust, they'd fail to notice the boy's fingers grasp his phone tightly. A single finger pressing the button to skip the tracks until a familiar sound greeted the boy's ears.
"Oh boy, you ready to start then?" asked Kirruru, with a coy grin as he floated right beside the phone, the MAD track already selected on the screen as Katsu managed to merely nod, his vision still seeing double as he weakly pressed the select button in the center of the phone. Suddenly his body shot to life, his muscles began to twitch, his eyes filled with algorithms he could not hope to understand nor comprehend. His eye twitched as he took to his feet and stood before the group of distracted thugs.
The thugs didn't even notice the boy stand as they continued their advances on Harumi a moment before a deafening shout caused them to redirect their attentions toward the boy now standing before them. "Congratulations you won!!!" Katsu shouted in an almost too enthused tone, his demeanor so ecstatic, his face contorted in a crooked smile.
"We won? What Another round kickin your ass..egghbleergh" the man was cut off with a spiral like kick, "Loading Taekwondo, wheel kick" Katsu muttered in a trance like whisper before he fell to his feet after knocking the man's head into the dirt. He walked to the thug as he tried to get up, raising his right leg up as he finally stopped before the bloody faced thug that tried to take to his feet. OF course the thug was cut short by the devastating axe kick that slammed his head into the dirt once more, this time his body went more or less limp, though his foot still twitched ever so slightly, good he was still alive, it would be troublesome if he wasn't. Had the MADS computed that!? Was it computing how to do the same to the others!?
That question would be answered in a mere second, Loading Krav Maga, Katsu's mind thought in a voice in no way his own. Meanwhile in the real world Katsu shouted like a madman once more, "Having trouble in the bedroom, act now and have her saying oh!" he recited as if a commercial. Katsu ran into the fray, first jumping up and into a man's face he grabbed him and plunged his thumbs into the thug's eyes. The thug screamed, before Katsu let go, watching as the thug reflexively reached up towards his eyes. That was when Katsu let three full force blows loose into the thugs rather distasteful family jewels.
Katsu then dashed off allowing the thug to collapse before he ran forwards a few feet before stopping abruptly, his fighting style changing again as a group charged at full speed with fists raised. Loading Judo, his mind thought once more as he got into a much different stance. This time he waited for the first student to throw a punch, moving his body just a dash out of the way he grabbed the arm and using the force of the blow propelled the man into the ground over his shoulder. He then turned to do the same to three more students, dodging each blow and throwing one after the other into another. He smiled with the same wicked grin before he loaded another fighting style and unleashed a series of Mua Thai on all those that remained.
As the last thug fell, a cloud of dust obscured the courtyard, a cloud that blew away just as Katsu's track ended. There in the center of groaning and unconscious thugs stood a single unimposing freshman, his eyes suddenly faded, the green hue disappearing as his eyes locked with what appeared to be a pink haired guy, the leader of this crew no doubt. Katsu glanced over toward Harumi, "Go find somewhere safe Senpai" he said with a cringe. Of course he couldn't help but sound cool in a moment like this, but deep down he knew that doing so would no doubt cause more problems than it would solve, especially with his Harumi problem.
He turned toward this new arrival, "So umm can I help you? I can see youhave a problem with me, but I don't even know you so, if you don't mind I just want to go home and play games until the sun comes up.." he said with a sigh as he reached his hand up to the bridge of his nose, wincing a bit as he dealt with the slight ringing that came with a MADS come down.
Suddenly and without warning Kirruru appeared, "Why hello audience It's me Kirruru! Your favorite LOL-cat here to rack in the total body count, so far it seems as if fifteen students were taken down in this afternoon's battle. When we add that with the eight guys from this morning that equals twenty three! twenty three thugs, not bad Katsu! But come on you can do better than that! I mean only 6 bone breaks, and 7 fractures!? But hey, he did manage to critically wound a man's manhood. Ouch, that hurts just thinking about it, you monster Katsu!" the cat proclaimed as it disappeared in a burst of static above the school turned battlefield.
Aki sighed as he sat at his desk, waiting a few seconds longer than everyone else, hoping to avoid the crowds he waited calmly, before gathering his things and picking himself up from his desk.
