Artie is physically healthy. At a height of 7' 2", he is built like an athletic person, having little fat and adequate body mass and muscle. Instead of being an athlete, he devoted his time in school to intellectual pursuits and rather kept himself in shape. His home was not a peaceful one though, as his father was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and his mother a woman of self-indulgent tendencies he was an only child. Being ignored most of his life, he has little experience of social interaction with someone of the other sex. Growing up, he always was helping others, both to get away from his broken household and because he found the work always satisfactory in the end. A giving sort of man, he quickly found himself joining the military after graduating high school.
