[M/M] Date Night

Hi Im Red

Real Life Superhero
Okay, so maybe date night wasn't the best idea. But you couldn't count on him knowing that! He had everything planned down to the second, he even knew when to pop the question, how to ask and how to keep calm during this time.

But that all had to be ruined when his past decided to catch up with him.

Next thing he knew the whole restaurant was on lock down while the FBI was searching the people for him to arrest or kill him. What made it even better was that his boyfriend didn't even know. So much for a marriage proposal.

Please note: I am looking for detailed responses, it doesn't have to be a full page, at least one paragraph minimum but feel free to do more than that.

Also this is a male on male RP if you didn't see in the title, if that's not your thing, just move on to the next.
Adam King was his true name, of course no one that he's known in the past four years. Luke, Luke Foster; that's what he went by and continued to go by. Adam was merely a shadow that was fading away into the fog. Everything from who he was was gone -of course he kept the perks. Like being able to shoot with perfect precision, the hand-to-hand combat, and his backup at the push of the button. You see the Red Prints was a gang, and when he was overthrown as leader, he wasn't the only one to be thrown out. Five of his best men were kicked as well. The new leader, Howie, ruined everything about the Red Prints, he was actually doing things that weren't good. At least when he was the leader, he did everything, every crime was for the greater good. However, in the eyes of a fed, murdering a man in broad daylight (a man that may seem innocent however is about to go set off a bomb in Madison Square Garden) is a bad thing.

April 15th, 2014; this day was one Luke would remember well and smile about each time it came around, why? Maybe it was because he was finally opening up the cafe he owned. Or maybe it was the wonderful dinner he had panned with a wonderful boyfriend of his where he would proceed to ask for his hand in marriage. It was going to be a good day and he could tell. He woke up much earlier than his boyfriend of two years, and did his morning routine, went for a run, showered, got half dressed, made breakfast and then finally going back into his shared bedroom. Luke made sure to be extra quiet before practically throwing himself onto the bed and sighing, very loudly and much too dramatically as his hand flew across the bed and hit Key in the chest, "Oh if there was only someone I could share such a delicious breakfast with!"

Key woke up to the sound of someone rummaging around the house, and it was easy to find out that it was Luke that had yet one of his early 'morning moments' as Key was no morning person of any kind, he went back to sleep ignoring the sounds, but suddenly Luke decided to throw himself in the bed and a hand hit his chest as he barely opened his eyes to take a quick peek over to where Luke was now laying beside him in the bed. There was no need for his glasses to know it was Luke beside him, as he grabbed the arm and hugged it as if it was suppose to be a body pillow as he was still half awake, and wished nothing more, but to go back to sleep.

"Luke... Go back to sleep..." Key muttered as he snuggled up against the arm, letting his dark hair brush against his arm, as he barely opened up his dark eyes to look at Luke and smiled. "Though I suppose breakfast sounds good... Only if you wake me up properly though~" Key said in a playful tone as he leaned up to Luke and kissed his cheek. Luke was usually the one who wake up early in the morning and those rare times he did, it was usually something special. Though Key could never guess how or why, but at this second he thought of nothing, but getting some food in his stomach, he was hungry after sleeping for so long after all.

"It's nine o'clock, mister," Luke said in a playful stern voice. "We have to get moving, it's a big day today," he smiled. Luke manage to worm his arm out of Key's grasp and pushed himself up throwing his leg over Key's waist, sitting down on his stomach, letting all his weight rest atop of the man below him. He snickered deviously as he did so, leaning down to press his lips to his boyfriends. Luke pulled away and reached over and grabbed his glasses, placing them gently over his eyes for him. "There, now you can see all my beauty," he smirked looking down at him, his fingers -almost subconsciously- ran through his locks of bed head, styling his hair to be even more messy.

"I would like to take you out to dinner tonight, okay? You don't have a say in this, we are going to dinner. It's going to be fancy, with expensive champange and you need to be wearing something pretty," Luke leaned down once more to press yet another kiss to his lips. Luke pushed himself off the bed and headed for the door, "Breakfast is getting cold!" He called from somewhere in the hallway that connects the bedroom to their kitchen.

Key chuckled as the two kisses were pressed down against his lips, as the glasses were neatly placed on his nose, letting him see Luke clearly, even though he didn't need glasses to know this man's beauty. They had been together for what... two years now? It seemed as they met yesterday. "Luke! You know I don't like you using a lot on money on me! We could just go to a simple restaurant, at least let's split the bill this time!" Key insisted as he sat up from the bed, letting out a loud yawn and ruffled his hand through his black hair, looking over to the mirror to see what sort of mess it looked like, and had to let out a small chuckle seeing it himself. It seemed as Luke had yet again 'styled' his bed hair once more.

"I need to get my suit ready... oh and I should probably fix my hair... maybe one of those new colognes I bought should fit the occasion..." Key thought as he simply threw a shirt over himself before walking into the hallway and joining Luke in the kitchen. "Mmm... smells delicious. When did you become a wife?" Key teasingly asked him, ruffling his hand through his hair once more, to make his bed hair a little better before he sat down by the table, picking up the newspaper as he began reading it immediately, as he found news quite interesting. He was working as a writer after all, and be able to pay attention to the news was the least thing he could do. Though he never understood all the articles about the 'gang' members, he had never seen one.

Luke had reached the kitchen and placed two plate of French toast across from one another, grabbing two glasses and filling them with orange juice, he turned around, grinning at his question, "The day I became your boyfriend," he said accepting the fact that he tended to do the more feminine roles in the relationship. Luke couldn't help himself, pulling the man in by his shirt and pressing their lips together once more -he was on a high of happiness, knowing what was in store today. "By the way, we aren't splitting the bill," Luke said giving him a playful smack on the bum. He was a very touchy feely person when it came to relationships. He loved to cuddle, and preferred hugging over kissing, he just adored the interaction, whether it be seductive, playful or loving, he was just the type to enjoy those things.

Luke walked over to his plate and poured some syrup on top of his French toast, taking up his fork and began delving into the food. "So, Key," he said, "do you think it's normal to be nervous two hours before I go to open the cafe?" he asked. Like was nervous yes, but not for those reasons. He had so much faith that Key would say yes tonight, but there were always those cursed voices in the back of his head that said otherwise.

Key smiled as the tug on his shirt placed him back into Luke's arms, making them kiss once more as he chuckled and ruffled through Luke's hair, smiling. "You are this touchy early in the morning... what are you thinking off, my dear wife?" He said once again a bit teasingly, even though he was happy that Luke had taken the feminine role in the relationship, Key was terrible at doing anything 'housework' related and he was not certain if it was due to his laziness or due to him thinking it was too bothersome for him to waste his time on it. A soft smack was then given to his bum, as Key did a slight jump and then his face turned into his pouty face, due to him getting rejected about the bill, though he was stubborn and definitely not going to let Luke win that easily.

"I'll bring my wallet, just in case. You know, I am completely capable of paying the bill too!" Key said as he sat back down, leaning over to give Luke a small kiss on the cheek, as he caught some syrup in his small kiss as well. "Sometimes you eat like a child," He said as a chuckle followed his comment, and he began eating himself. "It's your first day. Of course it's normal," Key said as he smiled reassuringly to Luke. "You'll do good, don't worry. I'll even help you out if you need to, I'm only up here writing so just call me and I'll come over to help right away," Key said and smiled to him once again as he drank some orange juice and yawned once more. "Should I wear a suit for the restaurant? A tie or a bow tie? Maybe no tie is better... though a bow is nice..." Key thought out loud, as he continued nibbling on his toast.

Luke shook his head, "I will be doing a full body scan to know you have no money on you. This is my dinner, you can get the next one," he insisted. Luke finished his breakfast in no time, wiping the remains of syrup off his face because he apparently 'ate like a child' he laughed at the statement, "You're the one who chose the man that eats like a child," he grinned picking up his orange juice and taking a small drink from it. He picked up his plate and walked it over to the sink.

Luke turned on the tap to fill the sink with warm water to wash the dishes with. He walked around the table and stood behind Key, wrapping his arms around him, leaning down slightly to rest his chin on the back of his shoulder, "The blue button up with your nice waist coat and a cute little bow tie," he said bringing his hand up, poking the spot on his chest where the bow tie would go, "that, or the red shirt, you always look nice in red," he commented nuzzling his face away into his shoulder. "Just, please let me pay, it would mean a lot if you let me," Luke said. It was to be Key's evening off, that meant he got treated and showered with nice things and an engagement ring. And it also meant Luke paying for their dinner. "Please!" He said drawling out the 'ea' sound in the word.

"You won't even let me get the next one Luke! You said that last time too," Key said as he finished his breakfast and folded the paper, as he had enough of reading about these gangs. There were almost no other news now, and he had just stopped on the page where the name "Red Prints" was in the headline, though Key ignored it as he had no relation to the name. "Of course I would, he's incredibly cute, handsome, but let us not forget childish," Key said as he watched Luke clean the table, as he did not object to it, since he was suppose to open a new cafe today, and this was probably just something he did to prepare himself for the work later today.

Key watched as Luke walked behind him, turning his 'cute' mode on as it was almost irresistible, and felt his finger play with his chest, making his cheeks slightly blush as Luke's sweet words entered his ear softly, making him blush even more. Then his head nuzzled into his shoulder, and he chuckled, he had lost the second his sweet words entered his mind. There was no winning against Luke when he did this, and he probably knew that far too well. Key let out a small, but happy sigh as he turned his face to kiss Luke and smiled to him. "You win, I'll let you pay," Key said to him, chuckling as he stood up to embrace the man in his arms. "I love you, you know that right?" Key asked, snuggling into Luke, and chuckled. "That's why I let you give me so much," Key added, still smiling happily.

Luke hummed, holding the man tightly, "I love you too, Baby," he said his eyes casting over the news paper catching the headline. That's when he let his embrace fall and he picked up the paper. Probably not his best bet, it's the first things he's actually seen in the news about his former gang since he left. He read the article quickly about how 'the mysterious leader' -because Howie was so mysterious- and his followers took out eight cops down in Florida, it didn't say why or how, but just the idea that some of his old men were actually working for this bastard. Maybe they were trying to stay alive, maybe not, either way it made his blood boil. He had to hide it though, he didn't want Key seeing his anger. "That's a sin," he murmured like he wasn't angry, "those poor cops shouldn't have had to die," he added.

Sighing he set down the paper and turned back to Key, "sorry, I've just seen them 'round on the news, it caught my eye," he lied easily. Luke took the rest of the dirty dishes and walked over to the sink, turning off the tap. He grabbed the rag and went to work at cleaning the dishes. Howie would be the one to blow his cover, he could feel it, until then he was going to enjoy his time with Key. But his mind was fully set on what use to be the good guys. It was almost like they were a superhero story, 'The masked vigilante' really doing good things for the world. And now, now they were true vigilantes. Though in his time, it wasn't his fault for the protitution or the theft, there were always the bad apples in the bag, that he couldn't help, but he did get rid of the bad apples.

Key smiled as Luke's attention was suddenly taken away, and their 'lovey-dovey' moment flew out the window along with it as it seemed the headline that Key was about to read had caught his attention. He quickly scanned through the pages to see what the article was about, to see the terrible case about the police officers. "I honestly don't get such people... I know I write about them, but I can never imagine killing someone in cold blood like that... they got family after all," Key said in sympathy to those who had to lose their husband, brother, uncle, grandfather who knew what, and all for a silly gang. "I don't get those people at all," Key muttered to himself as he saw he was not the only one frustrated about the case, but Luke seemed far more angry than frustrated as Key seemed more unfazed by the case.

"It's okay, don't apologize," Key reassured him as he helped him with cleaning the rest of the table, and in the end he wrapped his arms around him from behind and leaned his head in. "I can't imagine, what I would have done if something like that happened to you... if you were taken away from me just like that..." Key said as he felt as he was on the verge of tears just thinking about it. "It's unfair... it's really unfair towards those poor people..." Key continued, as he kissed Luke once again, but this time on the neck as he returned to his normal happy self. "I'll go take a shower, I want to look good for tonight too. How should I do my hair? Up or down?" Key asked as he tried to style his bed hair, before laughing a bit at himself, he was acting like a girl getting asked for their first date. It was quite silly indeed.

"Lucky for you, I'm staying right here," Luke smiled leaning into the warm arms of his boyfriend, he smiled at the small touches. As far as he was concerned he wasn't going back to his old life; he was staying Luke Foster for as long as he could, and he planned for that to be a long time. Adam was just a shadow, and he couldn't see himself being anything else other than who he was now. Luke turned his head slightly to catch Key's eye and tried not to laugh out loud at his ridiculous question. "Up or down, it doesn't matter to me as long as I get to have you with me tonight everything will be okay."

Luke was such a romantic, a hopeless one at that and there was no way that he was going to change that aspect about himself. He enjoyed making his boyfriend feel good about himself, even when making silly jokes. "Now go on," he said giving he man a small nudge, "You need to think of what to do with your hair tonight while I try to keep calm abut the cafe situation," he grinned. He wasn't overly worried abut it, however, opening up a cafe on the main drag in town was a little stressful, and to have everything in perfect shape made it even harder to not freak out. Cleaning, and occupying his hands with something tended to help a little. Luke just needed a minute to clear his head, finish the dishes and try not to let the whole Red Prints thing get to him -no matter how much that he wanted to blow Howie's face off.

"Ah! You're laughing! I can see it!" Key pointed out as the corner of Luke's lips were trying their best to stay shut at his silly question, it wasn't as if he had never been to a fancy restaurant before, but he wanted this one to be perfect, he was going out with Luke after all. All the nights that he spend with Luke had to be perfect, and Key knew that very well as he was gently nudged towards the bathroom as he laughed and quickly kissed Luke on the cheek. "I'll go, I'll go~ You hang in there okay?" Key said as he understood Luke's nervousness about the opening, as he disappeared into the bathroom, focusing on his hair for a few brief movements. "I honestly think it would be better down... though we are going to this fancy restaurant right? So up will definitely be more formal... Though... down looks a bit more cooler..." Key muttered to himself styling his black hair with his hands.

"Then again... what about both? Half and half?" Key asked his reflection, as he laughed at the results. It truly looked very weird, but what was he expecting? "Oh, should I have the glasses on or use contacts? Do I look better with glasses, or without...?" Key said as he took the glasses on and off, trying his best to compare the two reflections. "I can't make up my mind... Hah... why am I stressing so much over it? It's not as if... No! I need to make up my mind! I'll have my hair up and glasses on! But... which shirt? The blue or red one? Maybe red? Then I'll take the bow tie... but should I include a jacket? Or do I look better without... or maybe I should use a vest? Ah! This is so frustrating!" Key shouted to himself, as he sighed and went into the shower, without another word as he was still filling his head with questions and worries about the night.

Luke had spent almost twenty minutes washing four dishes, and when he was done his fingers were pruned from the water. He emptied the sink and put the clean dishes away. He walked back to their room and quickly decided on a blak button up that fit him quite nicely and was tight in all the right places. As well as his pants. He was aware of how good looking he was and wasn't afraid to show it, at least showing it without being cocky was his goal. It worked some days, other days not so much. Luke heard the water running in the bathroom, telling him that Key had gotten in the shower. He looked at the time and figured that he better be going if he was going to have everything ready.

Luke stepped into the steamy bathroom, after lightly knocking on the door, "Hey, sweetheart, I'm going now," he said leaning against the wall next to the shower. "A good luck kiss would be really appreciated," he said with a small smirk. Luke almost enjoyed catching Key off guard, like right now, it made things more fun and interesting. He thought it was adorable seeing him all vulnerable and cute, sometimes flustered. "Times wasting, I have to be there soon to get everything ready and to clean up," he said in a sing song voice.

"L- L- L- Luke!" Key stuttered as he grabbed a towel and quickly took of the water, hiding himself behind the towel, his face lit up in a clear red color as he was clearly embarrassed by Luke's sudden entrance. He looked a bit flustered around himself, as the steam was still roaming around in the room, but the clear image of Luke standing beside the shower, his smirk was maybe the one thing that Key reacted the most about, honestly he needed to learn to lock the bathroom door, but Luke seemed to enjoy walking into the bathroom when he was showering far too much.

"Y- You could w- wa- wait u- until I- I w- w- w-as f- fin- finished sh- showering a- at le- least!" Key complained as he peeked his head out of the shower, still holding tightly on the towel, as he looked shyly around the bathroom as if he was checking if anyone else was around there, but he knew there weren't. Quickly, Key pecked Luke's lips and gave him a clearly shy and flustered smile, even in the steam that was quite obvious. "G- Good luck... M- My love..." He shyly muttered, as he looked at what Luke was wearing. It suited him, everything suited him, but he was so better at choosing than himself, Key had to decide what to wear after all, and how he should do his hair, and the glasses, and the perfume, and... there was too much, he didn't wish to think about that right now.

Luke couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, he stood upright smiling proudly at the reaction he got, "You are too cute, plus if I waited I wouldn't be able to see you like this" he said plucking at the towel he grabbed, "It's not like I haven't seen any of this before," with a crooked smile and a wink, Luke accepted his kiss gratefully. He hummed against Keys lips, pulling back just slightly, "I've changed my mind, no blue, go with red, defiantly red, with a nice little bow tie and one of your cute vests, they always do the trick in fitting you nicely." He knew Key always tended to overthink these things, and he wanted to help him choose in any way possible.

Luke gave him one last kiss, "Bye pumpkin," he said with a flirty wave he closed the bathroom door behind him, but didn't leave just yet, he opened the door once again, "Glasses, and that nice musky cologne you have," he called in before leaving for certain this time. He walked out to his old 96 civic, it was defiantly time for an upgrade, but an upgrade cost money and when it came to money, he only had enough to pay the bills and afford nice dinners every now and then. Luke turned on the car just as someone opened the passenger door and plopped themselves in. "Give me all your money," he said pointing a gun at him. Luke merely laughed shaking his head and pulling out onto the street.

"How's it going Tommy?" He asked looking over to the other former Red Print gang member. "Where's Leo? He's usually with you."

"Leo went to Rio for vacation, Paully and I are tag teaming until he's back, which should be today," said the supposed Tommy person.

"As long as you don't push Paul to break you in half," Luke said.

To them (them being the other former gang members) he was still their leader, Leo was the youngest, and Luke watched out for him like his own son due to the fact his real parents were idiots, then Tommy who had Leo joined at the hip with him, Paully was the muscle and also the oldest. Then the two brains were Kyle and Kaleb, and then Adam, himself as the leader. This is what was left of their gang, and even though they don't do what they did before, they were still close and got together every now and then.

"So, K squared got your message and told us about it, so are you actually going to ask tonight?" Tommy questioned, "because we want to be there when it happens. Not noticeable, we'll stick to the shadows," he added.

Luke just smiled at the thought, he swore each of his men were children at times, "What you heard is true, and if you come try not to ruin it for me please," Luke said. And so the car ride went on, Luke ended up dropping Tommy off at the airport so he could pick up Leo and then headed towards work. Just the simple conversation being able to bring down his nerves. As he walked up to the cafe, he stopped looking at a small sign inside the door, it didn't say anything, it was just a Red Hand print, he brushed it off as nothing, thinking it was one of the guys trying to fool him on opening day. Luke took down the sign and got to work on cleaning the place out, slowly getting more and more help as more of his employee's came through.

"T- That's the whole point!" Key complained as the towel was taken away, and his cheek became even redder using his hands next. "I- I kno- know that! B- But..." Key stopped as he was too embarrassed to continue, as Luke helped him out choosing what he was suppose to wear. It was great having Luke around, he could read him like an open book and it was almost as if he could read his thoughts at times too. Another kiss came to his lips, as Luke decided the cologne and of course his glasses had to come with, honestly he thought he looked far better with glasses, but maybe that was due to his vision being weaker without his glasses? He sighed, and chuckled a bit as Luke disappeared out the door, watching after him a little bit, before he continued his shower. Honestly, he's such a bully... but I like that... A little, but that I won't tell him. Key thought to himself with a smile as he let the water wash through his black hair and his entire body, feeling far more refreshed as he finished his shower.

There was plenty of time before Luke was going to come back home, something which saddened him a little bit thinking of how he usually worked as home as an author, even though Luke gave great inspiration to his books. He put on his white tank top, and threw his black cardigan over it, and a pair of tight jeans as he checked himself in the mirror. His hair definitely looked the best up, so he grabbed some wax from the jar and carefully styled it to stay up, and once he finished a smile spread across his face as he walked out of the bathroom, letting the steam disappear into the rest of the rooms. "Now... it's time to work. Though I should definitely buy him something, in repayment of the dinner... Maybe I should get a clock? No, he will think that is too expensive. Maybe a coffee cup? No, too cheap... How about I buy dessert? No, I promised him I wouldn't pay for anything..." Key muttered to himself as he sat down, his laptop was in front of him, as he quickly continued writing.

"OH! I know! I can get him that car upgrade! Though... does that seem as too much? No, he's buying me dinner at a fancy restaurant! It's repayment... right? I should definitely look through a few car mechanics..." Key said as he quickly wandered off work and found himself on a nearby mechanic's website, looking over at the prices and the upgrades available for the different types of cars. "Oh... Though I need to ask my editor for an early paycheck... I'll call him later, I am suppose to work right now after all..." Key said and sighed as he quickly walked over to the kitchen, grabbing the cookie jar as he placed it beside his laptop. He always worked better with sugar, and his fingers began tapping the different keys on the keyboard in an incredible speed, his mind wandered off onto work as he watched the clock on the wall, excitedly awaiting the dinner, as they would finally see each other again.

Things went considerably well, for the fist day. He didn't have a clue what he was doing, but that was alright, the people working for him seemed to know what the hell they were doing. Which was okay with him, it's why they were getting paid. To say the least, he's been distracted all day, not because of the Prints signature he found this morning -though that was still in the back of his mind- it was the whole dinner that had him nervous; normally he'd be so calm about things and just go with the flow; but so much could go so badly! Maybe it was a sign that they weren't ready, maybe that's all it was. Just take him out to dinner and everything will be fine, you can wait.

No, he didn't want to wait, that was the problem. He wanted so badly to be with Key forever, he just had to suck it up and do it. Come six o'clock, Luke went out back to the staff bathroom to get himself ready, he wanted to be ready by the time he got home so Key wouldn't be waiting on him. He had texted him earlier today telling him he should be ready around six thirty for pick up, and Luke intended on being there exactly at six thirty. The small velvet box was tucked away nicely in his dark grey pants pocket, he changed from the black shirt to a plain white coloured one, using a red tie a black suit jacket to top it all off with. Sighing, he used his fingers to pushed up the fringe of his hair. H double checked everything countless times before he actually left the bathroom, he tossed the keys to the cafe to the supervisor and told him to lock up at ten o'clock after everyone was gone.

The drive home seemed long, like the anxiety was slowly taking over. He just remembered to breath and keep calm, everything was going to be fine; he couldn't show his nerves in front of Key or his cover would be blow and operation obtain a husband would fail. He needed to stop thinking and start doing. As Luke pulled up to the house, he didn't bother shutting the car off, he expected to just go inside, grab him and leave. Luke bit down on his lip and went up to the door going into the house, "Sweetheart, I hope you are ready," he called into the seemingly empty house, however he knew that if he looked hard enough he would be able to find Key somewhere stressing over how his hair looked, "Come on, reservations are for seven and I like to be fashionably early!"

Key had been working hard on his new book the entire day, he had even managed to see what sort of garage that could upgrade Luke's old car, as he was feeling perfectly relaxed, working on the book as he was swept away into its story, and quickly enough his cellphone was there to drag him out. His editor had accepted that Key needed his paycheck earlier, and told him he would transfer the money as fast as possible to his account, though he did not know when that would be done. He sighed, as he checked over to his phone only to see the message from Luke, and his heart felt 3 times lighter. The message told him to get ready, and the second he read the message his laptop was already shutting itself off, and Key was storming into the bedroom.

Even though it looked like quite the mess, as clothes had been scattered around everywhere, Key found his red shirt and the black pants as a pair of black socks and black leather shoes. They were still shinning, as he had yet to use them after the last time he scrubbed them. He smiled, as he put the shirt on, carefully buttoning the entire shirt up to to the top, as he found the vest, but then he hesitated. There were two vests! One was black and the other dark grey, they were completely different from each other! He tried both of them on, as it seemed the black one was better, but then he tried it again, and another time, and of course another time, and in the end he ended up wearing the black one as he shoved all the clothes back into the closet, rushing to the bathroom next.

Key fixed his hair, it was straight up from the sides as he clumsily began tying his bow tie, watching the clock tick by as he heard Luke enter. "I- I'm coming!" Key shouted out for him, making his to the hallway and into Luke's arms and smiled. "I'm ready to go! Do my hair look okay? Should I take the darker gray vest? Oh, and can you help me tie my bow tie?" Key asked as he looked over to Luke, looking at his bow tie as he had tied it in a hurry, and now he was excited for their dinner. Though, he was a bit worried about his looks, as they were going to a fancy place, and he was still thinking about paying for that car upgrade, though that was a secret.

"Stop being such a diva," Luke teased lightly, placing both hands on either of his shoulders. He held him in place and let his eyes travel up and down his body, seeing every inch of how beautiful his boyfriend was. "You look absolutely fine, pumpkin," he insisted, however, his bow tie was a little off. With careful hands he untied the bow tie and startedto tie it once again, his eyes trained on makin it look perfect. Once he was finished he placed his hands on Keys chest, straightening out his shirt. "Perfect," he said smiling down at him. He leaned down slightly kissing him, and somehow, just the small touch was able to take away his nerves. Like he knew even if I he asked right then and there the Key would say yes. And everything would turn out.

"The carriage awaits," Luke said wrapping his arm around Keys waist and leading him out the door towards the car. He opened up the passengers seat door and waited for key to get settled in so he could close the door for him as well. He rounded the car, getting in the drivers seat. "Here, I didn't bring this to the doorstep because it was too cheesy," he said reaching in the back seat and pulling out a single white rose he picked up and handed it over to Key. "For you, my good man," he smiled and backed out of the driveway and started towards the restaurant.

"I- I am not a diva! I- I simply want to... I simply want our night together to be... perfect..." Key said a bit embarrassed, his cheeks flushed up again as he easily fell for Luke's taunts. The reassuring comment coming from Luke made his heart feel at ease, as he smiled up to him once he fixed his bow tie. He was in such a hurry, he had to do it a bit clumsy and he knew almost nothing about tying it in the first place, for some reason he found it very hard to do. Luke quickly fixed it, giving him a kiss as Key calmed down and his worries about his looks disappeared in a flash, just like that as their kiss were over in just the same amount of time. "That's exactly what I am aiming for, for every night with you on my side to be perfect," Key said as he leaned into Luke's grip, as his arm found its way down to his waist.

Luke lead him out to the car, or the 'carriage' as he had amusingly enough decided to call it. It was anything, but a royal transport, though he had this car for as long as Key could remember, and it made him smile ever so wider thinking of the upgrade this car was soon getting, though he did have to wait for his paycheck. Luke opened the door for him, as Key walked inside and sat down in the passenger seat, feeling as if he entered a limosine, not a car as he let out a chuckle before Luke entered the driver's seat, and then he pulled out one single white rose, as Key's smile grew wider, and a wider smile could not be seen on anyone's face at this moment, not even those who won in lottery could beat Key's smile.

"Why thank you, my great boyfriend," Key said as he gently took the rose, and placed it in his breast pocket with some great pride, smiling and chuckling to himself. Luke had prepared a lot for this date, maybe because recently he had been so busy they hadn't gotten the time to go out together in a while, but this was pushing it a bit was it not? Though, Key enjoyed it and could not object against it at all. "Have I ever told you how much I love your romantic side?" Key asked, smiling to the rear window hoping he could see him as they drove out of the driveway, making their way to the restaurant.

Luke smiled over at Key and took one hand off the wheel to lace his fingers through his giving a gentle squeeze on his hand, coincidentally it being his left hand. Silently he wondered what it would be like to hold his hand while he was wearing the ring. Luke tuned his attention back to the road, completely forgetting about the Print's signature on his cafe, or Tommy bringing the guys out for a little dinner just to see how the proposal went. To Key, Tommy and the guys were just some friends of his back from when he worked in mechanic's shop working on all the old cars, the "Wednesday night poker gang" -it was quite funny considering that they use to be a part of a gang.

The drive didn't take long, fifteen minutes at most, but any time spent with Key seemed to go by faster than normal -which was one thing that he did not like. They always had such a good time together and two hours together felt like nothing to him, at least now he could have his whole life to spend with his little pumpkin. Just thinking about it made him smile, and all worries went away. All except for the fact that he actually still had to ask the question, and if he was rejected he was going to have to try and cope.

What if he did say no? What then? Would their relationship be at a loss? Should they still be together? Would Luke move out and change his identity again. Or maybe he would say no because he wasn't ready, in which case they would blow over the whole topic and pretend it never happened until the time was right again. Just thinking about it made his head hurt and the nerves come back. He tried to hide it as best he could, parking the car, getting to the passenger door before Key even had the chance to open it, and opened it for him, holding out his hand to him with a bright smile.

Luke opened the door for him as they arrived, Key felt as if he had transformed from a hard writer, to a Prince or a celebrity in only matter of seconds. Time had flown past them in the car, and it saddened Key to some extent to think that time would always fly by when they were spending time like this together. He loved spending time with Luke, and when the time they spent together barely felt like two seconds despite it being two hours, according to the clock, he never truly felt satisfied as Key knew he could never spend enough time with Luke, not to the extent he would feel satisfied.

Key reached out his hand to hold Luke's hand in his, as he gently stepped out of the car, allowing Luke to shut the door behind him. The restaurant made him feel slightly nervous, because there were so many people there and it was a fancy restaurant. Key was a bit shy and modest around others, even though having Luke close always helped him to stay more calm and outgoing. It was some sort good influence, Key got from Luke simply by being where he was.

They walked into the restaurant, and as Key thought. It was quite the fancy restaurant indeed, everyone was wearing some sort of formal clothing and eating with high etiquette. Key looked over to the waiters and how hard they were working, flashing their smiles and serving all these people. One was even carrying three orders at once, and Key could not help, but wishing to help the poor boy out, though did not as he was still holding onto Luke's hand. "Your table is over here sirs," The waiter said as he escorted them to their table with a small smile.

((Sorry it's taken so long for me to get my post up, I've had work all evening.))

Luke kept a tight grasp on Keys hand as they walked into the restaurant and smiled the whole time, too happy knowing what was to come when the man next to him had no idea. He decided to keep the gentleman streak up and went as far to pull his chair out for him, waited for him to be seated and proceeded to push the chair in, going around the table to sit down himself. He looked up to the waiter who handed them their menus and offered them their fancy bottle of champagne. Which of course Luke said yes to before Key could say anything against it.

Now the nerves were kicking in, he could feel it in the pit of his stomach, and the small velvet box was much more noticeable pressed against his leg now more than ever. He let one hand rest over the pocket that contained his three month salary golden band and felt his heart in his throat. This was actually going to happen, he was going to ask the question. Lukes eyes darted around the large fancy restaurant looking for his five amigos, however, with his quick glance he didn't see them. He knew they'd be there, it was just a matter of looking hard enough; after all, Tommy meant it quit literally when he said they would 'stick to the shadows' which meant hiding or in disguise, or a little bit of both.

The waiter came back with the champagne, smiling that wide smile all waiters have as he poured some into each of their glasses, and was off once more. Luke took his glass and had a small drink, his eyes not leaving Keys. "So, Hyun," he started with a smile, just now realizing that it has been almost three months since he has actually used Key's real name, "I -uh- I," Luke couldn't help but laugh at how nervous he seemed. Rubbing his sweating palms over his nice pants, taking out the box in the process and holding it under the table with one hand, reaching out to Key with the other. "I've given this some thought and, well... -God, sorry, okay, I told myself I wouldn't beat around the bush with this; but here we are!" he said with another nervous laugh and a crooked grin. "I would like to know, if you would-" of course his phone had the perfect timing for going off, cutting him off just before he could actually spit out the question. Luke pocketed the box and took out his phone, his face going pale the moment he saw the name. "Sorry, pumpkin, just one second," he said putting the phone up to his ear. "What do you want Howie?" he asked saying the name loud enough in-case the boys were close enough to hear.

"I have a surprise for you, I'm sure you got my message this morning," Howie's sickly voice drawled, probably in the middle of smoking a cigar too.

"What? Do you want?" he pressed.

"Oh I have some friendly government people coming in two minutes," and his laugh was the last thing he heard before the line went dead.

((Oh don't stress it! Real life over our RP! Hope you had a good day at work ^^))

Key was less worried having Luke there by his side, though Luke seemed quite nervous himself. The waiter came over, and of course the first bottle they would be offered was some sort of expensive champagne, Key was about to say they could have something cheaper, to not make a giant black hole in Luke's wallet, but as Luke already knew him far too well, the champagne was already in their glasses long before Key had managed to politely decline. Key immediately looked over to Luke, pouting a little bit cutely to Luke, but was left smiling as Luke seemed happy with the champagne, and he didn't want to stop that handsome smile of his, so he let it slide, but he would definitely hear it when they came home, he always did.

Key was busy looking through the overly expensive menu, as he found a lot of things that he knew he was going to love, and other dishes he could die for, but what he was most concerned with was the price on the other end. He knew he shouldn't be thinking about it, but it always wandered back to his head, as he tried his best not to look. If he ordered something cheap, then Luke would know he was holding back, but if he ordered something expensive, wouldn't it seem like he was taking advantage of him paying the entire bill? At the very least he could pay 10% of it... No, he had promised Luke not to pay one single cent. Plus, he needed that cent for the car upgrade, as he had put his wallet in his pocket, but only due to it being a habit. He wasn't planning on paying anything.

Luke immediately caught Key's attention when he used his first name instead of his nickname, it was a sort of warning shot by now. "This is serious talk we are having" was what it meant, or what Key had decided to call it. Luke's hand reached out for his, as he met his hand halfway on the table, his eyes were locked with his as he found it impossible to look away. This sort of atmosphere made him nervous, was it good or was it bad? What had happened, or what was going to happen? Luke, the one who was always confident and handsome in any sort of way was now nervous, stuttering and cute. This was really serious, this was more serious than a war going on. Key listened to each word Luke somehow forced out of his mouth, until he was about to ask a question and then, his cellphone rang.

Key could breathe again, he had been so nervous he had been holding his breath. More importantly, he was curious. What was the question? What was he going to ask? Was this... wait... was he going to... he wasn't going to say he was straight was he? Were they breaking up?! No, no no... bad thoughts, bad thoughts! Key shook his head, slapping his cheeks. "There's no way..." He muttered to himself as Luke seemed paler than a ghost when he was speaking to this 'Howie' on the other end. It's nothing. He's just asking me a question... why does this feel like we are getting together again? Like when I asked him out...? Key thought as his thoughts wandered right back to the question that had yet to be asked.

Luke let his hand drop, putting his phone back into his pocket, "I hate to do this," he said looking at Key with an apologetic smile, like he wasn't just threatened to be taken away by the feds. Luke stood up and walked in front of Key's chair, "I am so sorry, pumpkin, Howie's running the cafe; he knows I'm here and he wouldn't be calling unless it was important," he said taking a glance up at the clock; one minute. Luke pulled out his phone and shot off a quick text to Tommy; Code Red; Tee minus sixty seconds. Get out now. He hoped it would be enough to spot them and know they were here. He switched his phone for his wallet and put some cash on the table for the champagne, he then handed forty over and placed it in Key's hand, "Just for a ride home," he smiled and pressed his lips against Key's, "I love you," he added and stood up.

His face was greeted with a muscly shoulder banging into him, Luke looked up to see Paully standing before him. "Sit back down, we can't leave," he told Adam, which made him silently curse. He nodded and did as Pually said, watching him return to his own seat. He couldn't look at Key, his eyes were too busy looking around for the feds. And withing twenty seconds, they were their, guns high, stances low; they were here to kill, not capture. Luke looked back at his men with a look that said he didn't know what to do without making himself known.

"Adam King," one of the men called and boy was he ever glad he changed his name, "Adam if you come now we won't do anything to harm you or your friends, we just need some answers," the statement almost made him laugh, last time the government hauled his ass in questions were rare, the punishment wasn't. Luke tried to keep his cool, his eyes darting around the room for an escape, but the only thing he saw was the steak knife on his table. He took the knife and watched in the reflection of the large mirror on the back wall he was facing to see how close the fed was behind him. Luke couldn't even think of how mad Key may be, or how he would ever explain himself; all he could do was mouth out the seconds he was counting down until the fed was next to him.

A strong elbow went out and met the feds stomach, causing his to double over, allowing Luke to get the gun, and used the knife to drive it into the feds shoulder. Luke ran, that's all he could think to do, and jumped over a nice young couples table, knocking it sideways for a defense, ignoring any broken glass as he set up the gun shooting the next fed in the knee. He wasn't there to kill, he was just there to get away, and doing anything possible to get the feds to slow down would be helpful to him.
