Lyle Hill (horror Rp) [Inactive]

Maki burst out into laughter. "Man do you have this town pegged. I myself have never been the fear death type though." Maki said still smiling. He turned towards the school then back at the girl his smile vanishing from his face. "Death is death it comes when it comes and everyone copes differently. These people you speak of are just clinging to the way they used to live their lives because it gives them hope and makes them feel better. People will do whatever they can to make themselves feel at least a bit better. Though I do agree with you, people and relationships do seem to be a waste of time, at least those people you speak of seem a lot happier with there lives then me or you." Maki turned back towards the window "but what do I know maybe behind that stone cold you look you have, you are the happiest little thing". Maki stood up and headed towards the bathroom, all this coffee was killing his bladder.
 
She stood up straight. This is exactly why Rina didn't like to talk to people. Their emotions could change with a drop of the hat, something she didn't really like. But maybe it was time for her to play a different game... sing a different tune per-say. She took a napkin and wrote down her phone number, she also put a message saying; Would you be my friend? She set it back on the table and set her empty coffee cup on top of it. She exited the café and wandered back into the school. All the while, her poker face stayed plastered up.
 
Maki was about to head out the door when he saw a little note with something written on it. He stopped and walked towards the table to see a small napkin with a phone number and a note that was asking him for his friendship. Guess I made some sort of impression. Maki shrugged, threw the napkin into his pocket and turned towards the door. School was bound to let out soon, and he didn't want to end up getting stuck walking through a sea of people.
 
Rowan starts sketching in one of her old notes book as the treat drones on. She doesn't even pay attention to the teacher and just continues her drawing, until the bell finally rings. Letting the sorrowful students out of the class. Rowan seeming to be the only girl smiling, waves to then and crawling makes her way towards the window opening it up, crawling out of the small opening onto the school grounds. The teacher doesn't even attempt to stop her. Just sigh, as if she does that every day and he knows that he can't stop her. Her small feet land on the still wet grass, and make her away across the lawn over to the long stretch of street.
 
Rina, hearing the bell for the end of the day went to her locker and got her bag out. She left the school and started down the familiar street towards where she lived, seeing Rowan a few paces in front of her. I need someway to stop being bored... I might as well resort to acting relatively normal, this might be interesting~ Rina skipped forward with a smile on her face, her eyes actually showing something for once.


"Hi Rowan~!" She called out as she looked over to the brunette with her smile. Sometimes Rina could act like an actual person if she put the energy forward. Up until now she has always been the shadow of a personality that once was long ago...
 
Rowan studies Rina as she makes her way over here, giving her the quick run over," That fake smile looks bad on you," She says without even think, staring directly into the albino's girls eyes. Her amber shaded honey eyes, contrasting Rina's bright blue ones, and for a moment Rowans seemed to darken." Oh how I tire of this gloomy place off scared children." Rowan spouts dramatically, waving her hands in a flourish for an effect." I should become an actor no." She laughs, and wraps an arm around Rina's shoulder." Today is going to be different if you can't feel it."

(sorry if my writing is jumbled today. I am going through some stuff at home and I am not feeling inspired today)
 
Rina wasn't surprised that the other could see through her smile. She had been out of practice for so many years. Her 'smile' disappears and her eyes return to their normal cold look, almost looking like they could freeze hell over.


"Well, I suppose I'm just not one for a change of heart so suddenly... As for the people being gloomy, I couldn't agree with you more. I want some entertainment, in a way I would like to meet this "murderer" of Lyle Hill. I know that something is definitely off in todays air, and its not the smell of death that's shrouded over everyone..."
 
" My mother says that this "murderer" Isn't human, of course my mother is a loon, but still I am starting to believe her," Rowans tells Rina smile, liking how Rina doesn't even try to change her mind," I like you. You seem trust worthy." She states, before starting to walk up the street, not sure where she is going. In truth Rowan didn't give an rats ass about who, or what this thing was, just why. Curiosity being one of her fatal flaws she turns back towards Rina, spinning on her heel." Maybe we should just go check out Lyle hill. I mean the thing seems to have a pattern. It usually takes a break between body findings and once someone goes missing it takes a couple of days for the bodies to be found."
 
The only thing Rina could ever really do that has meaning behind it, was smirk. So Rina had one of her signature smirks on her face as she listened to the brunette's idea.


"I couldn't care too much about who likes me, but thank you all the same. As for Lyle Hill, why not? It's not like its possible for us to just up and die... Besides, I don't care too much for my own life, I have sinned a plenty in my past." She says putting up a finger, matter-of-factly at the last sentence. She walks over towards where you are and places a cold hand on your shoulder, turning you both towards the direction of the hill, which could be seen rising up in the distance.


"Human or not... It catches my interest... Which is hard for anything to do."
 
Maki was headed home now, the weather was still very gloomy, not that it was much of a surprise to anyone. The streets were still empty and lifeless as usual. Hey at least I didn't have to sit in that boring restaurant all day. All though he won't be getting paid for those hours so that would definitely hurt when it came to this months rent. Maki was finally back at his apartment, he headed up the stairs towards his apartment. He got out his keys and started to open the door when he suddenly heard a voice come from down the hall. He turned to see his landlord Mr. Phillips standing down the hall. "Hey Maki! How are you doing kid?" The man shouted. "Pretty good old man. What's up?" Maki replied. "You got any friends that want to rent a room here? I have way too many vacancies, I might have to raise your rent soon." The man said jokingly as he walked away. "You know I can barely even pay you now old man. You will have to kick me out!" Maki yelled back after the man. That guy is always in such high spirits. He thought to himself as he stepped into his apartment closing the door behind him. He walked across the door and headed towards his balcony where he took a seat."well might as well just relax for the rest of the day." He said to himself as he leaned back in his chair looking off towards the old hill.
 
"Okay, then shall we go now, or later tonight." Rowan asks, not seeming to be afraid of what could happen if they went up there," My mom is very chilled, so we can go whenever as long as I come back in one piece."She looks behind her, seeing a man on a balcony," and should we get more people?" It was a fair question to ask, going alone would leave the two girls more of a target, yet going with more people could scare the beast away." It's your decision."
 
In truth, Rina was actually thrilled to finally be taking action in doing something that's not boring. Maybe some day soon she would turn over a new leaf.


"Hmm... I think we should go later at night, I don't have anyone to hold me at home so it shouldn't matter... And going with more people would liven up the party a bit..." She said, the last sentence being a bit sarcastic about the 'party'. She did want more people to go, only because if something were to happen, she knows that she's too weak to try escaping the thing on her own. Just thinking about her bad health made her want to cough and curl up into a little ball... She turns around and looks at the guy on the balcony, seeing your attention directed there.


"I know that guy.." She said, squinting.
 
Maki was enjoying the breeze when he happened to look down towards the street. There were two girls standing down below just a ways away from his balcony. There's that girl from the coffee shop again. That other girl looks strangely familiar, I just can't remember why. "Are they looking up here?" Maki said to himself a bit puzzled.
 
Rina put her hands to her mouth to be louder.


"Hey Coffee shop guy! Get down here a moment!" She shouted up at him. The more the merrier Rina... The more the merrier...


"Im sure if we ask that guy to come he will." She said to Rowan. Rina was actually looking forward to seeing the mysterious Lyle Hill at night.
 
Rowan see's the man she had almost ran over today and leans over to Rina," Hey I know that guy. He works at the diner I think," She then looks up and waves, failing her arms," HEY, HEY YOU." Shouting," Okay I think we got his attention."
 
Maki saw the girls waving at him and calling for him to go down to them. Maybe I should just ignore them... Ahh what the hell might as well go down there. Maki made his way through his apartment, out the door and then down the stairs. He headed out of the building and continued walking towards the two girls. This is definitely a strange day. He was now standing in front of the two girls. "Hello ladies, is there something I can help you with?" Maki said looking back and forth between the two girls.
