Lunar Stone


Plot:
Once upon a time, there was a queen. Her power was too much for just one person to handle, and it caused chaos, war, and greed. They called her Luna Hime. She used her magic to create fourteen accessories. Upon her creation, she chose thirteen others to possess these unique abilities. If these powers are combined once again, the queen’s true form--- as a powerful, ancient dragon---will be awakened. One day, after five years of peace, her lover, a samurai, and a former daimyo commit treason. They summon all fourteen of the chosen to try to bring back the ancient dragon, but not without stabbing the queen first. Just before the queen dies, she suppresses her bleeding out and begins to gather all the accessories. Once gathered, she unleashed all her magic and the magic hidden in each gem and scatters them all across the world. While dying, she offers a final prayer to save everyone.

Fourteen gems fell from the sky, finding homes in newborn babies. Today, each one of them has been reincarnated, and suddenly one of the fourteen accessories has resurfaced in the hands of a high school student.
526 years into the future, the castle was rebuilt and remodeled into a high school. The castle sits on a small island with a single bridge leading to the mainland. Around it is a huge city that circles around the island. Legend had it that a dragon used to live here and that 500 years ago fourteen people were murdered. To this day, some say they can hear their ghosts haunting the very halls. Welcome to Lunar High.

Once upon a time, 515 years ago, Luna-hime was happy. She waited anxiously for thirteen of her most prescious friends. It's been seven years earlier, since people last called her The Dragon Queen. A title she earned after being born a dragon and receiving her throne at eleven years old. Now, she was almost human, only able to use the Moon Stones powers to will time. If she so wished, she could start over to the day before her parents were killed or the day she was born. She could have rewinded everything or fast forward a thousand years, however, fate was never in her favor. She never wanted to give up her scales, the part of her that made her dragon. She loathed power, greed, and war, but she had it all. Everything, but love.
Maybe destiny was cursing her for making the wrong choice, for not marrying her prince. She thought she could rule on her own and protect everyone, but then Kohaku appeared in her life. Kohaku had shown her happiness in the midst of chaos. Had been by her side when she lost her scales one by one. She gave thirteen gems to thriteen other candidates, keeping only one gem for herself. One power to protect and to stop the other gems if things went south. For years, it had gone smoothly, even after the fourteen of them went their seperate ways, but when Kohaku proposed and convinced her to reunite with her friends, she waived. For the first time in ten years, she hesitated. Would they come back? Would he come back? What if they discovered their was another war surfacing? Would they help her protect the kingdom?
She waited until everyone showed their faces, quietly counting her old friends, names. Kohaki had been there waiting be her side the only one who had never left her. Then she saw more enter the large room. Kioshi. Aria. Dia. Ezume. Satoshi. Riko. Sokumi. Kaiya. Mitsuko. Taimatsu. Sumire. And----he wasn't there. Akuryo had not come, was it because her engagement or had he truly abandoned her.
Luna was about to speak. She was about to welcome her friends back, but as she stepped forward a strange feelling passed through her stomach. Her gaze fell down to her stomach and a sword was sticking through her. The pain slapped the queen in the face. It rushed at her like a wave tearing through her body and causing crimson to soak through her white dress. She tried to stop the pain, her vision blury at first and was about to rewind time, when familiar shoes stepped toward her.
"I wouldn't do that," Dia's voice cooed, "no one moves until our missing prince joins us," I could hear the smile in her voice, but she hadn't stabbed me. Dia had come across the room, causing me to lift my gaze just to meet her clear eyes.
"W-why?" I choaked, still holding the blood in and trying to reverse the wound.

Aria. Riko. Kaiya. Sumire. Mitsuko. All the girls were frozen in confused betrayal. Most of the girls had defensive powers and weak offense, but they could hold their own in a battle. Except, around the room, daggers floated like steel pipes ready to stab through anyone who moved. Some were closer to the stronger ones, and others were aimed at vitals. All it took was a breath or a wrong move. Luna considered her options. Stop the wound. Stop the weapons. Or stop time? She was going to freeze time, halt all their movements, but then a familar face came into view. Horror, betrayal, sorrow. It all hit her hot like the tears and streaming of her own blood. She cried... Why was it him?​

Satoshi got his gem when he was 19 years old. The day he got the gem, he got a vision, and it was about a girl getting stabbed. He was in a room with a lot of people. Due to the blurriest of the vision, he wasn’t able to see who was there. He didn’t know how to fully use his power since he just got the gem. He had an idea that it might be about the Queen so he decided to try and stay close to her just in case. One day, the Queen called all of the thirteen, so he came to see the Queen. He entered the room and mostly all of the fourteen were present except Akuryo. He knew Akuryo was present but he was hiding. Akuryo wasn't ready for the Queen to see him and he still didn’t trust Dia and Kohaku. He watched quietly from the shadows up in the ceiling.

Kohaku has been by the Queen since the day she lost control. He promised her that he will be there to the end. Once he got with her, he got a taste for power and got greedy. He wanted her to rule over everyone which will make him the KIng of everyone. She was not interested in war and only wanted peace. Once he got the taste of power, he wanted more, and she was not going to give it to him. He started working with Dia since she promised him that he will have control of the dragon. He still loved the Queen but he loved power a little more. The day came when all their planning was ready to go and that morning he woke up not able to breathe. He was nervous but he had to get his mind straight. He went where the Queen wanted everyone to meet. He gave her a kiss, a hug, and waited for the rest to come. One by one they all entered but one didn’t show up. They waited but Akuryo wasn’t there. He looked at Dia and she gave him a nod. He was by the Queen and once she started to speak to the group, he whispered, " I'm sorry for this." He pulls out his sword and puts it through her back. A single tear went down his cheek as he watched her suffer. "This is the hardest thing I had to do my love but you have something that I want. I’m sorry. I wish there was another way but there isn’t. Please know that this is not personal. I have loved you since the day I met you and I’ll love you till my last breath. Please forgive me." He then went quiet for a few seconds before speaking again,” Use your power. Retake your magic or you’ll die.”

Most of the guys stood there shocked in horror as their Queen was stabbed in the back. The worst part was that it was by Kohaku. Satoshi was the first one to react and then it was Sokumi. Once Sokumi thought about running to the queen's side Dia showed one of her cards. They all looked around and there were daggers everywhere. Not even more than an inch the daggers pointed on Sokumi and Satoshi all over their bodies. Taimatsu was speechless, he just stood there motionless, and scared to move. Kioshi also stood there sad and confused about what was going on. Ezume cried out,” you’re going to pay for this,” as he dropped to his knees and cried.

"How can you do this? To your friend, Dia, she was your friend. To your future wife, Kohaku. She has been good to us and even trusted us with her power," Satoshi shouted.

“It was hard, I tell you but it has to be done. She is weak and she is going to run this kingdom to the ground. She had the power to take over everything and she didn’t want war. There wouldn't have been war because no one would be able to touch her. I love her with all my heart but now I will be able to control her and this world will belong to me.” Kohaku explained.

"I’ll kill you, I swear on my life. I will kill you with the same sword you use to hurt my Queen. You better kill me now because if you don’t, I'll look for you for the rest of my life.” Satoshi screamed.

Akuryo, still hiding in the ceiling, was furious. Then mad at himself, “if only I tried harder to convince her about them. I’m stupid,” he whispered to himself. The hate he had was overtaking the sadness in his heart. He then heard Satoshi yell out,” Akuryo! Come out.” Out of the shadow, Akuryo came out and you could feel the hate he had on his face. “You’re going to pay for what you did. I thought you loved her. You love power more than this goddess. I’m going to have fun ripping your flesh off your bones.” He quickly turned to Mitsuko and Sumire and shouted, ” the charm!”

Luna-hime looked up at Kohaku, betrayal and sorrow still wrapping around her mind and strangling her heart. Hot tears flowed down her cheeks. "Kohaku," she whispered painfully. She recalled a memory once. Their first date. It wasn't easy for her to to on dates, but he took her to the most beautiful garden and they talked for hours. When she kissed him for the first time. When she told him that she loved him. Her heart shattered and was replaced by an expressionless mask.
Luna had given up on her draconic powers to share her powers with others, she had out trust in each one of them---and yet. Dia and Kohaku had betrayed her. Suddenly she wished she had the dragon in her so she could transform and set the entire kingdom to blaze. She recalled the script Riko and once told her of---once upon a time, a dragon had soared the skies freely. The dragon was exotic and beautiful, but humans had feared it and yearned for its powers. They hunted the dragon just as they had hunted Luna for her entire life.
Power, she needed to take back all her power----if she took it back she could stop all of them. Could stop Kohaku.
Another voice stepped into the room and she had stopped the wound long enough to see his face. He was handsome. Charming like Kohaku, but with a perfect face and perfect blue eyes. His eyes were like ice, sometimes angry, and other times kind and gentle. He was a prince. Akuryo had come, he came to protect her, to save everyone.

Aria had never suspected the betrayal, after years of hearing Akuryo's warning she thought "maybe he was wrong," but she'd made a mistake. After years of being able to create charms and protections she had over a thousand shields up at all times of the day. Only, the one of Queen Luna had never protected her against her friends. She never fathomed that their friends---that Dia and Kohaku would turn on them. She had sensed something amiss over a long expanse of time, but not this. Aura's told a lot of stories over time, but they were not visions like Satoshi or conspiracy theories like Akuryo's. They were just auras. As a precaution, she did offer one seal to her friend in case anything ever went wrong. A small charm that could save her friends. She looked at Akuryo apologetic for not believing in him and pulled the charm from her pocket. She chucked it at him before anyone could stop her.
Dia saw the flash of something fly through the air and sent the first dagger cutting through their friend. It dug deep into her shoulder causing Aria to scream, "didn't I say no one is allowed to move."
It was too late though, Luna-hime wasn't unaware of their plans. She wasn't strong enough to reverse time anymore, but instead she halted her injuries progression and threw her hands in the air to stop as many of the daggers from being influenced by time as she could. Two more daggers from behind her, stabbed into her back. The wounds did not tear from the impact or start to bleed------at least not yet. She also stopped her friend's wound from bleeding so Aria had barely started to bleed when the wound was stopped.

Aria looked at the queen, but the queen's vision was blurred by tears and her concentration was barely holding up. She could only stop time fot so long in such a weak emotional state. Her aura was a shaking silver, flickering like a candle fire. Before at had always been the brightest and most terrifying dragon always overwhelming her smallish figure. She was beautiful and dangerous, but now she was weak and barely holding on. She didn't try to remove her dagger. If she moved at caused more injuries it would further hinder Luna. Maybe if she were stronger---maybe if she could somehow free her friends. Protect everyone---​

Kohaku stared at Queen Luna as she struggled. He felt horrible for what he is doing to her but he had to stay committed. He then saw Akuryo enter the room out of nowhere. Akuryo's face red with anger just like a cartoon character. Kohaku completely ignored what Akuryo was saying. He hated Akuryo with a passion. Kohaku then saw Aria toss him something. Acting fast, he used two of his fingers to turn into a small throwing knife, and he threw it as hard as he can. The throwing knife barely misses the charm by less than an inch. He turned to Akuryo and saw what Aria threw at him. It was the charm that Yuzuki had for Akuryo. A charm where once Akuryo has it in his hand, he can turn limitless. Kohaku knew how bad this looked for him and Dia.

Aria tossed the charm at Akuryo, he caught it, and then looked at the charm. Akuryo then looked at Queen Luna. She was in so much pain. His face started to fill with tears but still had hate. He wanted to hurt everyone that has put her in this pain. He started to think about the first time he met her. She was five years old and he first saw her at her birthday party. He was just a kid but she was so beautiful. Akuryo's mother went up to him and told him that he should go and dance with the princess. He was nervous but excited. He walked up to and ask for a dance. That night they danced and talked for a little bit. Akuryo membered the way she danced, the smell of roses on her, and it was beautiful. He started to remember when they told him that she was going to be his wife. That was the happiest day of his life but it was short when he was told by Luna that she wanted to break it off. Snapping back to reality, he just stood there for a few moments more, and he went back to stare at the charm. He had to be smart. If he does this he could lose control but if he doesn't all his friends, his Queen could die.

Everyone watched as Aria got stabbed. All the guys wanted to do something but they couldn't. Ezume still stood then not moving an inch since this all started. He had been acting like he was terrified but actually had something up his sleeve. He has been slowly controlling the water that was around the castle inch by inch. Getting the water to places so he would be able to attack. He was a Captain for the Royal Navy and he felt like it was his responsibility to protect his family, his crew. Taimatsu cried out, "Aria!" Satoshi turned to Aria who was stabbed and screamed," no Aria! Aria are you ok? He remembered seeing her for the first time he saw her. It was at a party at the castle. She was dancing and he has never seen a girl more beautiful than her. He would start watcher more when she would dance at parties and even bring her flowers and gifts. He started to run to her side.

Akuryo finally back ready to use the charm looks at Kohaku and Dia," Stop this at once or face my power!"

Luna could only watch, her hands occupied along with all her power. The injuries inflicted her no longer bled and Aria's wound did not leak blood. Under normal circumstances, it would have been enough, but then she caught a glimpse of the charm she'd given Akuryo. A long time ago, she'd given him the gift knowing that without his limiter he could very well destroy the world, but if anything went wrong----no! Not now, not here. The charm would take him into the darkness, he'd be able to use limitless dark matter and possibly destroy anything and everything without control. Even himself.
"Don't do it!" Luna pleaded, "it's too dangerous!"

Dia stood beside her and smiled at the queen, "if you take your powers back then no one has to die," she started to take down her invisible cloak. Transparent men appeared in the darkest corners of the room. One. Two. Three. Ten. Thirty. There was no counting the numbers she'd been hiding from their site. "Luna and I were never friends," she smiled at Akuryo, Satoshi, Luna, and Ezume. A sad smile at the captain, "my mother used me to gather all her secrets and beat me every day because of her." She shook it away, her cold, evil smile returning to her lips, "one day, I killed her....but I couldn't just let all my hard work go to waste so I began building my own army, you see." She gestured around her. She started walking toward Akuryo, "you love the queen, right?" she asked, "you want her to live? Then join us," she smirked. Dia gestured to the queen's weak state, "if you join us we can bring back the Dragon Queen. We can use her power and take out any enemy that stands in our way."

Aria swallowed her pain and concentrated all her energy on Akuryo, trying to protect him if Dia made a move, "do it," she pleaded, "don't trust her."

Sumire was quiet, her thoughts focused on the injured of her friends, but to no avail. Yuzuki's injures were in a state of frozen time with no healing or bleeding, but Aria's wasn't so deep. Not completely influenced by time, she focused on using her power to seal the wound. This was the only assistance she could offer.

Queen Luna straightened long enough to look Kohaku in his eyes, "was it all fake?" her voice came in a chocked whisper, "I loved you," she felt another dagger dig into her neck as if responding to her words. Another struck her leg, and she collapsed to her hands and knees. She was a queen, and she was practically bowing to him. Her fiance had betrayed her, the roses, the playful flirting, the tournaments...it was all her imagination. Akuryo had said once that he wrote that letter the day he was kidnapped, that Kohaku had lied and taken credit. She should have believed him. Maybe if she had, she would have married Akuryo---she should have believed him at least. Kohaku hadn't hesitated when she killed thousands as a dragon, and he wasn't hesitating now-----now that he stabbed her. "I'll do it," Luna said, wanting to protect her friends more than anything, to protect the prince, "just don't hurt them. Leave Akuryo out of this."

Sumire realized that the queen's grip was weakening so she started to heal the minor wounds without moving an inch from where she stood. Between all her friends, she was the most useless, she could heal and fix things. She was the one who created the charm with a couple of her friend's help. Mitsuko used her light magic while she attached the magic to the charm. They only gave it to Aria so they could keep it safe in case things went wrong. And today, they royally had.

Aria managed to turn to Satoshi, "don't worry about me," she smiled softly, "it's my job to protect all of you. We need to stop Dia and Kohaku at all cost."

Taimatsu finally had enough. He had enough of being quiet. He has watched his Queen, his friend be stabbed by his other so-called friend and not be able to do anything. He finally opened his mouth,” Don’t worry about us, my Queen. We will be alright. Don’t let us be the reason you have to get hurt. We all love you and we all agreed when we got the gem for you that we will give our life for your cause. Please do something. I can’t bear to see you in pain anymore.” At this point, his face was flooded with tears. He then turned to Akuryo,” Akuryo if you can stop this please stop this. Akuryo just ignored him and kept his focus on the Queen, Dia, and Kohaku.

Ezume was almost ready to unleash his plan. He would be able to stop Kohaku and save Queen Luna. Then out of nowhere, Dia showed another card and had soldiers surrounding them all. So now it was daggers in the air and soldiers on the ground. He knew that no matter what happens that they might not make it out alive. He had to give it his best chance though.

Satoshi tried to plead,” Dia, Kohaku stop this, please. Dia, she took you in and treated you like family. Just stop this madness and we will let it go. Just please let the Queen go.” He wanted to say more but right when he was, he had a vision. He saw what was going to happen. The fourteenth fall to the ground. He saw the pain that was going to happen to them all. He had to stop this.” Queen Luna please fight, fight for yourself. You can stop all this, just let us go, and save yourself,” he yelled at the Queen hoping she would do what he just asked. He turned to Aria,” I can’t lose you. How can you say don’t worry about me? The cost is too great Aria. the Queen needs to fight.”

Akuryo could hear Aria telling him to do it. He wanted to but at what cost. This would be the first time he has ever done this before. He then saw all the soldiers that Dia had hiding. He couldn’t hold it anymore. He took one big sip of coffee that he had and then he crushed the charm in his hand. Black smoke started appearing off his body. The smoke was surrounding Akuryo.

Satoshi looked at Akuryo who he was going to try to talk to next. He saw the black smoke surrounding him. At that moment he knew that it was over. It was going to be all over for everyone. Kioshi saw the smoke and had a bad feeling about what is going to happen. Sokumi didn't know what was going to happen but he cheered for his friend,” get them Akuryo. Make them play!”

The black smoke made it hard for him to see what was going on around him. Then after a little, he could feel like a burning feeling, but he was not on fire. Now he couldn’t see anything or feel anything. It was pitch black. Then there was a small light in the distance. He started to walk to the light and then……….

Kohaku was watching Akuryo the whole time. He was nervous. He could feel his incredible power. He looked at Dia with a nervous grin. Then Akuryo vanished with what looked like an explosion. He took a deep breath, “That was your secret weapon, my Queen. He is gone. Maybe you gave him a little too much power for the boy to handle.”

Luna bad lived fifteen years with all her powers. She knew the full extent of each ability including her dragon form. In a single instant, she could call upon all the stones and they would return to her. She could become a dragon again, but at what cost? More war, more greed, more death, and chaos. Countless times, humans have tried to use her powers, and it was happening again to the people she trusted more than any other. All she had to do was take back her powers, all she had to do was heal everyone and submit to Dia and Kohaku. She was just beginning to accept her fate and was turning to face them when Akuryo crushed the charm. A dark memory washed over her, a forgotten memory of when she turned five. It was her birthday, and the first day the kingdom would meet the dragon princess. It was supposed to be a happy day, but after the party, she had snuck out of the castle. No one knew or suspected who she was with her disguise, but while outside she saw an older man bullying a maid and got angry. It was the first time she'd ever gotten angry. She slipped into the darkness neither there or not. She lost control. Luna only lost control like that twice in her entire life. This was why the world came to know and fear her because she wiped out an entire village over one man.
Akuryo would also become that darkness. At the time---when choosing which powers to hand her friends, she had asked the prince if he could handle such a dangerous power. She warned him that it was much like a curse. Power of destruction, of the void, of nothingness.
"You have no idea what you've done," she swallowed, starting at where Akuryo had once stood. For a breath, she could still see him, hear him, sense him. Then he was gone completely like the lights were shut off. She hadn't told anyone else what his power meant, but now that it was unleashed she couldn't call the gems or stop it. He was void of time and space. "it's too late."

Aria looked over at Satoshi, "I didn't mean it. No....I do mean it. We all chose this fate, but if Dia and Kohaku get what they want it's not just our lives but everyone else's."

"She's right," Kaiya said from beside her, "it's our job to protect the queen, but her priority is to the people."

Mitsuko watched, it was horrifying watching her friend vanish, and it wasn't getting any better. She'd been told by the queen that with her power she could activate his dark form, but this was not how she'd imagined it would be used. The queen was slowly dying, Dia had an entire army, and Akuryo was no longer with them. Mitsuko swallowed her courage and used her powers to take out the entire light around her until only her body glowed casting a dimly lit orange glow into the huge hall.

Dia stared at the empty spot Akuryo had once been standing and spun to Kohaku, "this is bad," she said sharply, unable to see him with the lights off, "we are going to have to use plan B." All the daggers started toward the members, but only in the darkness where they couldn't be clearly seen. The enemies seemed disoriented, but otherwise, they hadn't lost yet. Dia stepped toward Kohaku, "We need all fourteen gems for this to work. We need the obsidian."​

  Out of the darkness, Akuryo came out, yes it was him, but it was not Akuryo controlling the body. He was dark, his whole body looked like space itself. You could see galaxies all around his body. His hands looked more like black holes instead of hands. The whole room shook when he reappeared out of the darkness. He stood there for a few moments, then you could see a smile forming on his face. It was not a happy smile though. It was a smile that says I'm free and I'm going to have fun destroying everything
  
  He continued to walk towards the light. When he finally entered the light, he was in a room. He got up out of the bed and stared around the room. “Where am I?” he mumbled. He exited the room and entered what looked like a living room. No one was here. He stepped outside and he was on top of a cliff. There by the edge of the cliff was a girl. She looked familiar like he had seen her before. The young girl was someone he knew but it was not the actual person. She was Yuzuki.

  “All you had to do was get your power back and this would have been over. Anything that happens is your fault Luna. You say that you care for your friends…..yeah right. What happened to Akuryo? You forced him to die.” He turned to Dia,” go on with plan b. What is going to happen now that Akuryo is gone?”

  Satoshi watched as his friend vanished in thin air. What he saw in his vision was happening just like it played out. Maybe if he can control it. Maybe i can help with Akuryo. Be his guide and bring him back. The room then turned dark,”Akuryo I know you're still here. Fight it, fight for your Queen, fight for your friends. You’re the only one that can stop this. Fight!” He looked at Aria, not hurting anymore thanks to the Queen, but still was hurting for a different reason. She was still so beautiful. The way her hair moved when she danced. He loved her for so long and he never told her how he felt. He should have made it clear but he didn’t. She was a goddess in his eyes. He loved her pink hair, her laugh, the way she dances, but it's going to be gone any second. He remembered how nervous he was when he gave her a rose. He was shaking in his armor the whole time. He then turns to the Queen,” I’m sorry my Queen. I have failed you and my friends,” he whispered.

  Lighting started to form around him. You could see the bloodlust in his eyes. Sokumi ran to attack Kohaku. He wanted to kill the guy for what he did to the Queen. Then there was an explosion and he turned to see what it was.

  Now that the hall got dark, he can try and attack. Although it was dark, he had the power of sound. He could hear their voices or their heartbeat. He rushed towards the Queen but then heard another explosion.

  Luna closed her eyes and time seemed to slow down. She wished she could respond to him, she wished she could save him or stop him from losing control, but the charm took away all limiters including her ability to stop him. "I'm sorry," she said, time returning to normal. She started toward the creature, but something or someone grabbed her preventing her from coming closer. She stopped there, "you're right, Kohaku," she said, her eyes starting to glow, "I made a mistake, but I won't make another." She sent her magic outwards and the daggers that Dia had released were stopped in their tracks.

  Riko stared at the depthless eyes of a creature that was no longer human, but she did not use her voice to speak. Akuryo. Can you understand me? I know you can hear me. Luna needs you, she needs you to save us all. Please remember us. Unlike the rest of them, she'd barely voiced an opinion and had only tactically watched while silently calling for help. Help from nature, help from animals to any ally who would respond, but now----now it was Akuryo's turn to listen,

  In the beginning, it was never supposed to turn out like this. The plan was to reunite everyone and force Yuzuki to recollect her powers, then Dia would take each accessory and wear them. The day Queen Luna divided her powers, she had transformed the magic into something sacred and more dangerous. Each relic now had its own powers, the dragon she suppressed would grow stronger the longer it was sealed inside her. Some rumors said the dragon could even grant wishes, but that just seemed ridiculous. Still, she'd seen no sign of the dragon who ruled us, only a 26-year-old trying to keep the peace. Dia only realized it when she saw how Yuzuki used the crown to prevent each one of them from losing control of their powers that first day. Mitsuki had almost blinded them, Taimatsu had also burned down the castle, and Kohaku couldn't keep his body from falling apart---it was gross. But with one word from the queen, the magic was silenced. She'd investigated the different accessories for a couple of years and each one had a different influence so she began to wonder what would happen if one of them wore all of the accessories. A necklace. A ring. A hoodie. A cloak. A belt. Earrings. Gloves. A watch. Glasses. A bracelet. Headphones. Hat. Hairbow. And a crown. Was it even possible to wear them at the same time? Dia dismissed the thought for a while and with Kohaku's help, they started building a plan against her---starting with an army.
  Dia nodded and hardened her body like the diamond of her ring, "let's kill everyone and take their accessory by force," She dropped to her knees and placed her palms on the floor. The entire floor vanished making it look like there were standing on nothing. The floor was still there, but no one could visually see it. In the next incident, all the daggers started to rein down on her former allies.

  "Akuryo?" Aria asked, "Is that really you?" She could barely see him, but she could see his aura---no not Akuryo's, but something much darker. Like the darkest black, under the darkest night, in the darkest winter. His aura was threatening, a think fog or an omen. She looked at Satoshi, "d-did you know this would happen?" She knew about his precognition, she knew he'd worried about the queen more than most, but...this wasn't what she expected.

  Mitsuko was glowing brighter and brighter. She started to cast a small amount of lights life candles flickering into the corners of the room. Around Luna, around Satoshi, and around---Akuryo? This wasn't the Akuryo she knew or recognized, but it was him, wasn't it? Her lights flickered off anytime they came close to the dark silhouette. The light seemed to run from him and move into the furthest corners of the room. Fear suddenly crept down her back, through her bones, and under her skin like spiders crawling over her. She shuddered, "Tai-kun," she looked at her first love, one of the fourteen who'd barely spoken during all this, "set the world on fire, we need to stop them and save Luna-hime."

  (Dreamworld)- He started to walk towards the young girl. She seemed so close but it felt like miles to him. The world around him started to change. At first, he was in an open field on the top of a cliff. Then it changed. He was back at his home and his mother was to his right. They were walking in the garden. All different types of flowers were there and also a lot of cherry trees. Those were his favorite. It was so peaceful. She was telling him about this young princess and that he’s going to have to marry her. It was the girl from the party. Then the world around him changed again for a few seconds. It was dark then he was able to see. He saw his friends getting attacked but it was not by who he suspected. They were attacked not by soldiers, not by Dia, Kohaku, but what looked like himself in a different body. He saw him holding Taimatsu by the neck but then he was back to the open field. He saw the girl again and he waved him over to her. He was still shocked to see that he was hurting his friends. The world started to change again and now he was in a library and the Queen was next to him. She looked so beautiful and so happy. She handed the obsydian gem that was fused with a watch. You need to control the power, she would tell him. Then the world changed on him again and he could see the world in front of him. He was in space and the girl was next to him. “ Hi,” the girl spoke to him, “I’m not the queen but only a figure of your imagination. Right now your physical body is being consumed in the dark matter but your mind is here. You need to fight to get back to your body or else you will be trapped here forever.” Akuryo was confused, his friend are getting attacked, and his Queen doesn’t look so good. “What am I supposed to do,” he cried to the girl. “You need to find the gem. The gem is powerful and doesn’t like to be controlled. It‘s going to fight to not be controlled. Just know if you try to take the gem and fail…... well just don’t fail.” The girl then disappeared and he still had many questions to ask.
  
  Akuryo, well the dark void that is consuming Akuryo started to walk towards the Queen. Daggers were flying all over the place but once they got close to the dark void, they got sucked up into him. His attention then shifted when he saw light coming from Mitsuko. His hand that looked like a black hole turned to a dark sword. He rushed at Mitsuki because he didn’t like the light. He swung his mighty sword and barely missed her.~~~~~Taimatsu~~~~

  He quickly located Dia and flew to her. He formed a huge ball in his hand and threw it at Dia while still flying to her.

  He was nervous then happy. This power that Akuryo was showing was terrifying. He wanted it but he had to play his cards right. He backed off for a little bit and watched as Akuryo almost killed two of his friends. Before he could think about Akuryo, he had to go after Aria. he knew that she was very important and had to take her out. He saw where she was and formed an ax with part of his body. He then tossed it at her as hard as he could.

  Once Mitsuko made it dark he went straight to the Queen. Kohaku backed off from her once he saw Akuryo reappear. As he was running to her he got hit with some daggers. One hit him on the arm and another in his back. He tried blocking them with his sword but there were many of them.He finally got to her side but bleeding from the daggers,” I’m here, I’m here my Queen. Quickly we need to get you out of here while we have a chance,” he pleaded.

  he saw his friend in trouble and rushed to his side. He was shooting lightning bolts at who used to be Akuryo. He was running around in circles then he lost control when the ground disappeared. As he was falling Akuryo grabbed him and tossed him across the room. Hitting the wall hard and got knocked out for a little bit. The Dark void was smart and he knew who was responsible for the ground.~~~~Dia~~~

  Ezume had water all over the hall and he then turned it into sharp ice. He started shooting then at the soldiers. Taking many out at a time. He was trying to stop the army but it was getting difficult with dodging all those daggers. As he was fighting the soldier one of them hit his leg and he cried out in pain. He knew that if he wanted to stop the daggers he had to go after Dia. He rushed after her and then out of nowhere the ground disappeared and he fell down a level.

  Taimatsu covered his whole body with his flames and started to destroy the daggers that were flying all around them. While shooting them with his flames He notice that Akuryo was finally walking to the Queen. He was happy, well happy for a second, then his smile turned upside down when he saw Akuryo attack Mitsuko. He rushed to her side and hit him with a fireball on his back. “What the heck are you doing?” he screamed at Akuryo but Akuryo stayed quiet and started to attack Taimatsu. Akuryo started to shoot dark matter bullets from his hands at Taimatsu. He tried his best to dodge them while flying but the bullets were too quick for him. Taimatsu then rushed again at Akuryo and tried to fire more attacks at him but as he got closer Akuryo started to suck the flames that surrounded him with his hands. The flames were getting sucked into hands and Taimatsu was trying to fly away but it was too strong. The dagger were not helping either.He was a foot away from Akuryo when Akuryo dashed forward and grabbed him by the neck. Taimatsu could see Akuryo smiling and he could feel his life getting sucked up then out of nowhere Akuryo was hit by lightning dropping Taumatsu.~~~~~Sokumi~~~~~~

  If there was ever a time where chaos and war hadn't tried to take everything from Luna, she yearned for it. Daggers fought through her magic and stabbed her friends. She managed to dodge a few, but Kaiya took a direct hit. It wasn't just Kaiya, but Ezume was trying to fend of the army with Riko who'd received aid from animals. Taimatsu was being strangled, Sokumi was doing his best, and Satoshi----She looked at the dagger sticking out of his arm, "I'm sorry," she said, "I'm so sorry." She was a pathetic human compared to the dragon she used to be and had no power to protect the people most important to her, "I can't leave," she shook her head, her attention on her friend. Think, Luna, think! She searched the room, all her magic was trained on slowing everyone's injuries even as they begun to brutally add up, but their was on person she couldn't account for....Akuryo. She couldn't abandon him, "I'm sorry, Satoshi." she started toward the darkness, pulling her arm free, "if anyone's going to reach him, it has to be me."

  Kaiya was trying to remember every detail, taking in everything that was happening around her until she grabbed the opal on her necklace and whispered something. Her eyes glowed a bright yellow and she borrowed the fighting stance of a soul she'd once sealed inside and begun helping Ezume on the front lines. While fighting a dagger slammed into her, taking her left shoulder. She screamed in pain, but kept fighting. The wound started to heal just slightly as she yanked the dagger out.

  Animals had ambushed the castle and flooded into the room. She felt bad asking for their help and watching animals get thrown aside or cut down, but their numbers grew thanks to her power and she helped Ezume and Kaiya suppress the army.
• 
  
  
  Good, Kahuku could handle Aria, but Dia need to deal with the worst threat. While Akuryo was playing both sides, he could wait. She drew her sword that was also made of diamonds and walked toward Sumire. "With you dead, no one will be able to survive or come back," she smirked. She rushed toward Sumire, but Mitsuko cut in her path. Mitsuko had reappeared from the darkness like she had vanished from sight, but upon reappearing she held two star shurikens and clashed them with her. They clashed repeatedly and each time Dia cut Mitsuko, she would heal again. Suddenly the star became blindingly bright, hurting her eyes to the point she had to sheid them. A deep, painful cut dug into her side tearing through fabric and skin. Dia raged and jumped out of the way. "You will pay for that!"

  Mitsuko saved her. She'd shown up a second on time right before Dia could take her head off. Sumire's concentration was everywhere at once which made it impossible to defend herself even as a dagger cut into her side. She concentrated on healing as many wounds as she could, but the problem was she couldn't fully tell which or whose wounds she was healing. Focus, must help everyone.

  It wasn't her fault that I died...well I guess I didn't die. Not yet. The ax cut down my back like it was trying to slice my body in half, but instead of carving through me, I collapsed to the floor. I went into a deep sleep neither awake nor dead and my mind was suddenly elsewhere. I didn't recognize where I was, but I did recognize the castle in a room I'd never visited before. "where am I?" Aria looked around and found a young boy.

  Aria gasped, an ax coming her way. She ducked down barely dodging it but her shield had been up. The ax hit her shield, bounced off and flew in another direction. It sput an air and spun coming directly for one of her friends. Aria's eyes widened and she screamed suddenly, "Sumire!" her eyes widened as she saw the ax slam into the healer's back and cut a line directly down her spine. The healer collapsed to the floor. Aria ran toward her friend ignoring the fight between Dia and Mitsuko, "noooo!" She threw herself on the healer trying to use her magic to protect her friend, but the wound wasn't bleeding. Time had stopped completely for the healer, but her body was still unmoving.

  Mitsuko watched with horror as their friend suddenly attacked them, he was rushing for her when Taimatsu suddenly countered him, "thanks!" She was about to turn and help him when Dia spotted the glint of the diamond sword catching the light from the flickering balls she cast into the room. To her horror, Dia was headed to the one individual who was protecting them all. With evil Akuryo busy and Sokumi helping Taimtsu from near death she made a quick choice and rushed over to protect her friends. One second, the light passed through her making her invisible to the eye, and the next the wielding stars of light as if they were weapons. She clashed with Dia trying to keep her distracted and protect her friend, but every once in a while she could peek over at her friends. Her light suddenly became vivd and blinding as the attempted to overpower Dia.

  Akuryo(Dreamworld)- Akuryo still had many questions. He was still in space and he looked around. It was mostly darkness. It was amazing to him. He stood there watching everything around him for a few moments before he got sent back to the castle. He had to find this gem but had no idea where to even look. He started to walk and he saw a familiar face out in the courtyard. It was Kioshi. “Hey Kioshi, is that you?” he asked. Kioshi turned around but it wasn’t him. The unknown boy started to attack Akuryo. Akuryo ducked and then rolled to the right, “dude what are you doing?” The guy then turned to him and his eye went black for a split second. It wasn’t Kioshi, it had to be the gem. The guy continued to attack and didn't let up. Akuryo kept on dodging his soundwaves. While dodging his attacks he got hit from the back. It was a girl, it was Riko and now it was two on one battle. It was harder to dodge now that Riko had joined the fight. Akuryo got tired of this and threw out a small black hole. The black hole started to suck up Kioshi first. He slowly got sucked in. One down and now time to take out Riko. She rushed at him and he created a ball of dark matter and let it explode on the ground. The area around them turned dark and she now can’t see. Akuryo was able to get behind her and take her out before she could do anything. Once she fell on the ground she turned into dust. He was sad that he attacked his friends but he knew they went real. He continued to look for the gem. He searched the Queen's chambers and her throne but it was nowhere to be found. He entered the hall and saw a young girl that looked like Sumire. He got into a fighting stance ready to attack the creature and he yelled,” where is the gem?”
  
  The dark void was heading towards Dia when he was attacked by fireblast. He turned and saw Taimatsu charging him. He waited for him to get closer and then he sprayed him with his dark matter breath. The attack was causing his opponent to not be able to more or even breathe. It was a powerful attack. He got shot in the face with flames but it didn’t faze him. He just looked at taimatsu and smiled. He turned his hands into dark holes again and he started to suck in Taimatsu. He saw him burning higher like he was going to explode. He grabbed him by the neck and snapped his neck, killing Taimatsu.
  
  The next person he saw was Aria and he started to rush towards her. She was by a girl's body. He shot dark matter bolts at her and it was cutting her up. One cut, two cuts, 15 cuts, he kept on shooting more and more at her and the body.

  he watched as the ax passed by Ezume, then Aria ducked, and then it hit Sumire in the back. He was happy that it got her because she was the healer. He smiled and then was going to send anyone to Aria when he saw Satoshi with the Queen. He returned the parts of his body back to his body and went towards Satoshi. He swung his sword and it hit Satoshi in the back cracking his armor. He watched as he got back up and stood between the Queen and him. “Well it's not going as planned but I like how it's going. I’m going to have to find a way to beat Akuryo but he is making it easier by taking out your friends,” he responded. “How’s the Queen doing?” he laughed.

  “My Queen I have seen the future, you have to leave here, and get somewhere safe. If you stay we will all die,” he pleaded. He tried his best but she needed to be there with her friends. “How are you going to get through to him? He is not Akuryo anymore.” She was amazing not caring for herself and only cared about protecting her friends. “My Queen I,”---------- he was attacked by Kohaku. He got hit in the back of his armor. It cracked the armor. He turned his attention to him so he doesn’t attack the Queen anymore. “Is this what you wanted Kohaku?

  He was still knocked out.

  He was fighting soldiers left and right. Then he saw the battle that Taimatsu and Akuryo were having. He was amazed that Taimatsu was keeping pair with him until he saw him grab him by the throat and snapped his neck. He was shocked, his friend just laid there motionless. Also close to him was Sumire. He stared at both his friends just there. Wasn’t paying attention to anything else. Even when Ezume ran by his side. He was there crying for his dead friend. After a few moments, he got up and was mad. All this happened because of that girl. He saw her fighting Mitsuko and aided her in battle. “Riko come help me with Dia.” He went towards Dia and sent out a soundwave that could mess up her hearing.

  he got back up and continued to fight and jumped to the right as a lion came running by him. “Riko must have called in animal support.”He was shooting ice beans out of his hands As he was fighting he saw an ax fly right by him and he turned. to see it going to Aria. at the last second, he saw her duck but then it hit Sumire. He was shocked, she wasn’t moving, and she looked dead. He was tearing up and then heard Taimatsu screaming. He turned to him and also watched his friend get his neck snapped. He was losing focus and started to get attacked by some soldiers. He got his mind back and killed them easily. He saw Kioshi standing there and he rushed by his side. “Kioshi! Koishi! Snapped out of it bro.” no matter what he said he wasn’t listening. More soldiers came by and he started to protect Kioshi. He also got some help from Kaiya and Riko. “I can’t get through to Kioshi Riko.” After a few, he saw Kioshi get up and run away towards what looked like Dia.

  He got back up and wiped the blood that was on his face. He located the dark void and fired a blast at him, “I’m not done with you yet,” the blast hit the dark void in the face. He put himself in flames again and charged at the dark void. Once he got close he was attacked by his breath. The attack was dark and very cold. It wasn’t the cold that froze you thought it was a different type of cold. He could barely move when he was in the area of the breath. Then he started to not be able to breathe. He had to think of something. He knew how tough this guy is and he saw how easy it was for him to take out Sokumi. He looked at Mitsuko, he couldn't bear to see her get killed, and he didn’t want his other friends to get killed. He remembered when he got the gem, he was with Akuryo in the library, and they were studying their new powers the Queen gave them. With Akuryo's help, Taimatsu found a massive attack that he could use, but it had one bad thing. The only catch is that it would kill him in the process. He was able to shoot him with some fireballs to the face and that caused the dark void to stop with his breath attack. After the smoke disappeared, Taimatsu looked at the dark void, and he was just smiling. The dark void was starting to suck him in, he had no choice, he’s going to use his special attack. He was hoping that this would kill him or at least badly injured him. As he got sucked up he started to unleash all his power. He was ready but right when he was going to let it out. The dark void got him by the neck again. Then Taimatsu died.

  They say most deaths are quick, but the way Taimatsu died made her burst into tears. Just before he died, she used her powers to stop time in his body like she was doing for herself and Sumire. She gathered all her courage and tried to keep time stopped for her friends while she pulled out a small dagger she'd always carried with her. It was the only weapon she had on her, but it would have to be enough. She watched Satoshi fight Kohaku and hesitated. Queen Luna had never killed anyone without bringing them back to life, she'd never fought with the intention of murder, but her friends were dropping one by one and if she wanted to make it to Akuryo's side then she needed to fight. She swallowed her cowardness, but then looked into the yellow eyes of the man she once loved. Kohaku had been the only one who approached her when she lost control....he'd been the only one to bring her back so why did it have to be him. She watched Satoshi and Kohaku fighting helplessly before she saw a slurry of attacks direct at another one of her close friends...
  "Noooooo!!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. How long, how long could she watched her friends fall like this? How long could she stop them from dying? She suddenly rushed forward and cut her dagger at Kohaku like something had pushed her forward and gave her the motivation to fight. After attacking him, she told Satoshi. "go to Aria, go help the others. They need you more than I do. I'm already dead," she said honestly, gesturing to her wounds that hadn't started to bleed further. She watched another friend collapse and tried to prevent more from dying, "I'm not sure how long I can stop it," she frowned, "Kohaku, please stop this," she begged him once more. She considerered using her powers on a larger scale but it would risk time catching up to her dying friends. So instead of using her powers she would have to rely on her dagger. She swung a second time, but her attacks were waivering and without the resolve to kill. She was angry, hurt, and slashed out of emotional turmoil. She couldn't quit worrying about her friends and Akuryo.... She needed to reach him, but if all their friends died than it would be useless. She needed Satoshi to fight and save them or she would never be able to bring Akuryo back, but first she needed to prove she could fight too. All her life she'd been fightinf as a dragon or using time instead, she had little experience to none with weapons, but now she was going to rely completely on that. She was able to use time just a bit to slow down his movements even a second, but the more power she used the more her injuries worsened so she fought without using her magic to aid her in battle and only used it to stop her fallen friends from being fully dead. Her own injuries worsened, but did not bleed either.

  Kaiya saw her friends getting dropped and knew she'd always remember their deaths if she survived long enough, but she focused on the battle and begun touching her opponents. One, two, tree. Each soldier she touched collapsed with an expression twisted into fear. One by one, she lived through the army unable to search for her friends or help them any other way,

  Riko concentrated on helping the animals and trying to search for more allies until she heard Kioshi call for her and snapped to reality. "I'm with you," she said, too busy to process the death of their friends. This was war, so she could mourn later if she survived to mourn. She took her sword and helped slice through enemies following Kioshi to Dia. She was momentarily off guard as Dia cut through Mitsuko and a shockwave blasted at Dia. Dia was suddenly deaf and off-balance, but Mitsuko's body fell to the floor. Kioshi. She used sound to communicate with him like she always did, we need to stop Dia first, but at this rate, everyone will end up dead. Even you. We need to work together. She spotted the stones easily and ducked to avoid one that had passed inches from her head. She then looked at her friends trying to decide how she could help them. The animals were taking out the soldiers fast, but Akuryo alone had managed to take out two of her beloved friends. She communed with some crows and bats and asked them to attack Dia and help her protect Kioshi. A group of wolves surrounded him to protect her friend. Riko raised her sword challengingly at Dia and thought, You're going to die today, in a voice that only Dia's thoughts could hear.

  The blinding light died and she saw an opportunity, cutting her sword across Mitsuko she had become distracted. She sliced a line diagonally across her chest, but before she could recover and join more of the violence the floor beneath her face a violent shake killing her hearing and causing her to lose her balance. She fell over on her butt and stared at Kioshi. Green. Emerald, she hated the color and him. Her eyes wired with hate and she stood up unable to hear the fight around her. She pulled her hands into her pocket and pulled out a series of rocks transformed into diamonds, she brought her hand back and then tossed them one by one at the two. Suddenly a swarm of flying birds came at her causing Dia to duck her head. She swiped a bird out of the air and turned this bird to liquid, but the birds still stabbed her with their claws and beaks. Each time she took a bird down, another two appeared, swarming her.

  "Gem?" Sumire asked, staring at Kohaku, "Is that why you've begun attacking your friends?" she slowly approached him, "don't you recognize me?" Her voice had that soft calm she used when trying to heal a broken mind, "Your friends are suffering," she said, "so is Luna-hime. We need your help."
• 
  
  
  She'd lost focus on the battle, her eyes on Sumire in tears. She'd had a defensive shield around them, but her focus waivered when she heard another series of screams from the queen and her friends. She turned her head to see Taimatsu who'd been trying to hold his own against Akuryo. The dark thing that was supposed to be here to help them had snapped their friend's neck like it was nothing. Horror and fear like nothing surged through her and she felt her face streaming with hot tears. Her friends were falling, dying, and she couldn't protect them. She closed her eyes and her shield shattered, in the time she'd forgotten what she was doing a cut slived her cheek. Her eyes opened again and more came, cutting her shoulder and the fabric of her shirt. She rose to her feet and created one final shield---this one protected Sumire and Taimatsu and would last even after her death. She silently concentrated on protecting her dead friends. Even one on the queen, a shield to protect her queen....the cuts came faster and faster-slicing skin and cutting lines all over her. She screamed at the pain but focused harder even as blood started to splash from the cuts. She fell to the floor a moment later and just before she died, time halted in her body.

  Mitsuko had finally overpowered Dia and was prepared to blast the full force of her light magic and Dia, but then she heard his voice. The man she always loved, that she secretly watched even before she'd become connected to the sunstone, was suddenly just a whisper. While Dia was still blinded, she spun around to face the flames and her eyes widened, "no, no, no!" she screamed so loudly her voice watched with Yuzuki's, but unlike the queen, her body was suddenly frozen and she was unable to move to the point she even forgot about Dia. She watched Taimatsu die and a long sword suddenly cut across her chest. Her mind went blank, but she didn't have a chance to feel the pain as Dia added her body to the ranks of the deceased. Time quickly stopped for her as well.

  (Dreamworld)- He had his sword drawn out ready to attack but she was different. Her eyes didn’t go black and she was actually talking to him. It was Sumire. He ran to her and gave her a hug. “Yes, I recognize you. These things were not my friends. It was the gem. We have to find the gem. That is the only way I can get out of here and help our friends. He then explained everything to her about the mysterious girl and what she told him. Sumire told him that their friends are suffering and he replied, “I want to help but the only way I can help is if I can control the gem. I would be able to leave without it. As long as I don’t control the gem, that monster is going to destroy everything.” Then out of nowhere Kaiya and Ezume jumped out. Their eyes turned black and were ready to attack.
  
  Dark Void- He continued to cut her and cut her over and over. The cuts are coming faster and faster. Then he saw her hit the ground. He wasn’t done and continued to shoot more. Then out of nowhere, he felt someone else attack him. He saw it just in time and the blade got eaten up by his body. He looked at the attacker and founded his next prey. He rushed him with a sword he made out of his hand. He tried to slice him but he was getting attacked by lightning bolts now. It wasn’t hurting him but it was stopping him from getting his prey. He tried to cut Satoshi with his sword but he kept on missing. He started to shoot him with a dark matter blast but every attack was messing and it was destroying the hall. It was making him mad and he tried harder to get Satoshi. Then he got hit with some punches from the speedster. This made him even angrier and he charged at Satoshi faster. He finally got one cut on him and tried to get more.

  He was fighting Satoshi but it was hard with his ability to see the future. He continued to attack going faster and faster but with no effect. Then out of nowhere, he got a cut on his side. Then he got hit by Satoshi on the arm. The cut completely tore his arm off from the elbow down. He watched his arm hit the ground and then came back up to get reattached. “That hurt like hell, you’re going to pay for that,” he screamed at Satoshi but he was leaving the fight. He was going to go after him but Luna attacked again. It made contact with him but not as bad as the first one. “I’m amazed, I'll give you that. Didn't know you had it in you. Let's see how well you handle this,” he attacked her but every time he made contact a shield was protecting her. He continued to attack hoping to break the shield but nothing was happening. Then he could feel like everything around him was moving faster than him. She was using her power to slow him down. It was not by much but it still slowed him down. “All you had to do was get the gems back. That's all but now your friends are dying,” he yelled. He continued to attack her.

  He was there still fighting Kohaku. Matching blow to blow. They were both skilled fighters but Satoshi had the edge. He could predict his attack and it was working in his favor. He could hear his Queen begging Kohaku to stop. He had to stop him, he had to protect the Queen and his friends. “My Queen if you don’t want to leave then fight. Show them why they called you the Dragon Queen. He knew that whatever he says to her, she will not leave her friends behind, and she will continue to fight till her last breath. He watched as the Queen cut Kohaku while fighting himself and that gave him a chance to sneak an attack on him while he got distracted. He swung and made contact with the flesh tearing his arm off. After the attack, she ordered him to help Aria and the others. He didn’t want to leave but he knew that she could protect herself and she would be fine. “My Queen please be safe,” he said. He rushed to get to Aria's side and could see her getting cut up by the dark void. He got to her side but once he got there, she fell to the ground. He was shocked not even making sense,” Aria.. you….no....why....noo…..can’t…..no….not…...my....noo…….No! I’ll kill you!” He was enraged and charged the Dark void. “I’ll make you pay for what you have done,” he promised. He swung his sword at the creature but once it made contact the sword was then sucked into him. He backed up and tried to think about what to do. Then out of nowhere, Sokumi came into battle with them. He was shooting lightning bolts at him and he could see that when the dark void is not paying attention we can make contact. “Sokumi we need to attack him while he is distracted,“ he told him. He has seen the fate of everyone but he was going to do everything he can to stop it from happening. The creature was still after him so he tried dodging his attacks. He dodged his blasts but they were destroying the castle. Debris was everywhere. It was going well, hoping that doing this it will tire him out or kill him but he was fast. The creature was so fast that it was getting a little hard to predict his attacks. He got one little cut on him from the dark void’s blade. He knew this wouldn't last long and needed help. He yelled at Sokumi,” get Riko to have our minds in sync together so we can communicate. Also, we are going to need more help with this guy.”

  He finally got back up and searched for the dark void. As he was looking he saw some of his friends down. He was sad but it was no time to mourn, he had to help out, and kill this Dark void. He finally located him and he was fighting Satoshi. “He could use some help,” he mumbled. He ran over there with his speed and shot the dark void with lightning bolts. It was distracting him but he was still going after Satoshi. Satoshi cried out to keep on distracting him. So he did just that. Satoshi would do his thing and he would shoot him with his lightning. By doing this it was causing the creature to destroy more of the castle. He used his speed to dodge the debris and then used it to punch him in the face. It caused the dark void to get off balance but he still charged at Satoshi. Then the creature was able to land a hit but it was small. He was about to attack again when Satoshi gave him an order. He nobbed and rushed to find Riko. She was with Kioshi fighting Dia. “Riko linked our minds so we can communicate,” he yelled.

  Riko and him were fighting off Dia and she was tough. Dia was probably on the top tier of the group. She was powerful. He was getting hit by rocks she was throwing. He tried his best to destroy them with his sound but it was not working. Thanks to Riko they had help. He watched as she was getting attacked by animals. While trying to dodge the rocks he was getting cut up by some soldiers. He was trying to fight them off when a group of wolves surrounded him and started to protect him. The wolves were killing off the soldiers. Thank you for the help and yes I agree, he told her. Then Sokumi came out of nowhere to ask for Riko's help.

  He watched as his friend Kioshi got back into the fighting mood. He continued to fight off some more soldiers and then bumped in Kaiya. He then remembered all the times he was with her. He would get nervous. He thought she was so beautiful. No one knew about them since they kept it a secret. They have been on a couple of dates and it was going really well. He remembered the first time he met her, she boarded his ship. Then sometime later he asked her out. He was so nervous but then surprised when she said yes. They were going to tell the Queen but they haven't had a chance to. Then this whole thing happened with Dia and Kohaku. Back to the fight at hand, he asked her, “Do you need help?”

  Luna frowned at Kohaku, "you never truly cared for any of us, did you?" She asked, "and you weren't the one who wrote that letter either?" Her eyes glowed brightly like the dragon stirring from its sleep. She cut and moved faster, "you've hurt my friends and me for the last time," she rushed him tryiny to move faster, her dagger cutting fabric and skin, but what use was it when he regenerated quickly. She thought about the weakness she gave him once upon a time and all she needed to do was create an imbalance or slice him up enough that he couldn't out together. When her mind suddenly linked with Riko she thought, Sokumi, with your speed we can dispatch Kohaku in an instant. If we take out Dia and him, we can focus on Akuryo.
  She closed her eyes, whatever feelings they had were a lie. Now she just needed to protect her people. She opened them again and moved faster. Speeding up her movements by slowing down his would only work for so long.

  She smiled at Ezume in the midst of battle, "nope, you?" Kaiya remembered the day he first asked her out, it was the first time she'd said yes to anyone and ever since then they'd become really close.

  Link. They said, link everyone's minds. She nodded and concentrated on a new language. She grabbed Kioshi's mind and linked it to hers. Then she grabbed Sokumi. Ezume. Satoshi. She started to link each mind until even her desceased friends were there. The only minds she couldn't reach were Sumire and Akuryo's.

  Dia was swarmed by birds and had no idea what was going on. She started grabbed the birds one by one until each one desolved into the same black liquid.

  Sumire nodded, "the gem?" She sounded confused until out of nowhere two of her friends appeared, "so wait, then you're saying the gem has possessed you?" Her eyes widened. She pictured what was happening in the real world and got into a fighting stance, "well, I'm stuck here with you now so I might as well help," she smiled, "I'm already dead."

  (Dreamworld)- He answered, “yes the gem is in control right now, but we need to find it so I can get control.” Two of his friends started to rush at them. “Take this sword, you’re going to need it. I got the boy and you got Mitsuko,” he shouted. He ran at evil Taimatsu and evil Taimatsu shot him with a fireball. Akuryo quickly formed a wall with dark matter to block the attack. He then made a black hole on the ground and jumped into it. Another black hole appeared on top of the boy and he jumped out. With a clean slice with his dark matter sword, he cut off the head of the boy, and then it turned into dust. He quickly turned to see how Sumire was doing.
  
  Evil Mitsuko- She ran at Sumire and made her body bright. She hoped it was bright enough to blind her. After that, she threw some throwing knives at Sumire.
  
  Dark Void- He kept on attacking and was getting more irritated the more Satoshi dodged his attacks. Then he got lucky and landed a blow on his leg. Satoshi fell to the ground. He kept on hitting him but his shield was blocking all the blows. That didn’t stop him though. More and more he hit the shield and it started to crack. Then out of nowhere, he got blasted by some spears. It went so fast that he went through a wall. Causing the wall to collapse on top of him. This irritated him so much that he sent out a huge explosion. Debris went flying everywhere. He got up and he saw a guy with green hair. He found his next prey. A blast came to evil Akuryo but it had no effect. He shot a beam of dark matter but it barely touched Kioshi. He ran to him and grabbed him while he was looking for something. He tried to struggle but it was no use. Evil Akuryo then grabbed his leg with one hand and with the other hand by his chest. Smiling at the weak man, he ripped him in half and threw the halves in different directions.

  Kohaku had a terrible life growing up. He has been beaten up by his father his whole life. He then remembered anything he did wrong caused his dad to beat him. He did it to most of the women in his life. Then he met Queen Luna. Everything changed and it opened something new into his life, love. He had really loved this woman like never before. He never laid a hand on her well till now but he truly cared about her. When she said that he didn’t care about her, it hurt him, but was she wrong? He is here trying to kill his friends and his love of his life. He answered, “I know I have done so many bad things to you, I really truly loved you, and I still do. I care about all of you but you are not strong enough to lead this Kingdom. When I take over everyone will fear me.” He could see the disappointment in her face but what is done is done. “I saw an opportunity and I took it. I might have not written that letter but everything that was on it, is how I feel about you,” he replied. He was continuing attacking her but this shield was powerful. Attack after attack, he thought, I got an idea, and he took off most of his arm and turned it into a sword. This sword was different though. He copied the same material that Akuryo was using to make a dark matter sword. He was ready to attack to see if this new sword could destroy this shield. Before he could do anything, he was attacked by Sokumi. He started to run circles around him and shoot him with lightning bolts. He was trying to get free but he could get out of that circle he was in. He then tried to attack with his sword but then the lightning bolts started to hit him harder. It was cutting him. He was trying to regenerate but every time he did a new cut would form. It was making him weaker and he was having a hard time fixing himself. He couldn't take anymore and he collapsed to the ground. He then woke up when he was slammed into a wall. Confused about what happened, he got up and saw he was at the other side of the room. There in front of him, he saw Ezume, he sneak closer to him, and then stabbed him with his dark matter sword. He heard Ezume’s final words, pulled his sword out, and then watched him hit the ground. He looked at Ezume on the ground,” I always thought you were a girl.” He then wiped the blood off his sword on Ezume pants and started to look for Dia.

  Satoshi dodged to the left and then to the right. Evil Akuryo was not letting up. “Ahhhhh,” he screamed, as the blade of the evil Akuryo cut his leg. He needed help fast. He called Sokumi and Ezume for help. Sokumi, Ezume, I need your help. He was still trying to block his attacks with his shield. He remembered the vision he had. He saw all of his friends die, including himself, and he saw the Queen picking up all the gems. She was in so much pain. After seeing her, he was surprised that she wasn’t dead, and he heard her saying a prayer. He was losing hope when he heard a familiar voice that he thought he lost. It was Aria. He was in tears but it was happy tears, I thought I would never hear your voice again. How is this possible? He got back his hope, then his backup came to the rescue. They blasted evil Akuryo and he went flying. Aria! Aria! I missed you. The hope he lost slowly came back after hearing her voice. He got back up but it hurt when he walked.

  Once he was done asking Riko, the Queen asked for his help. Yes, let's get him, he replied to the Queen. He rushed to her side. He started to run in circles and shot lightning bolts at him. He was such an easy target with the Queen slowing his movements by a couple of seconds. Sokumi started to borrow the speed from the living animals making him even faster. With this increased speed, it caused his attacks to hit harder. The bolts were now cutting Kohaku. He could hear him screamed the more it cut him. He saw Kohaku fall to the ground and he also stopped moving. Sokumi slowed down and Kohaku wasn’t moving anymore. He then heard Satoshi call for him and Ezume. On my way. You got it from here my Queen?” He took off to meet with Ezume and he told him to use his wind attack. Got you, bro. He started to spin his arms and created really strong winds. Then he saw Ezume make some ice spears and he threw them in his wind. It hit evil Akuryo and sent him flying. “That was so cool!” he shouted. After that, there was a huge explosion. He was able to hold his ground but he saw Ezume go flying. He looked around to make sure everyone was ok. The first person he saw was Ezume and he looked fine. Then he turned to see if the Queen was ok. He didn’t see her. Queen Luna are you ok?

  They were finally linked. This is definitely going to help us. After that, he tried to locate Dia and found her. Riko was close to him and he asked her to come help fight Dia with him. He started to run to Dia but was stopped by the remaining soldiers. One by one he killed them with the help of Riko and the wolves. He finally reached Dia and she was fighting off some birds. “Dia!” he screamed. The wolves then started to surround her. “Dia, it's time for you to die,” he shouted. Then he saw someone flying past him and Dia. He turned around to see who it was, there was an explosion, he tried to stop the force with his soundwave, but it was too much. He got pushed into a wall. He got up and there, close to him was evil Akuryo. The monster started to walk towards him. He shot a soundwave at him but he was unaffected. Then a beam shot out of the evil Akuryo finger, he dodged to the right, but it was too fast. It knocked off his headphones. He was useless without his headphones. Quickly, he turned around to try to find it, but it was too late. He got grabbed by evil Akuryo. Struggling to escape, he tried but it was no use. He was just a regular human. Evil Akuryo then ripped him in half and tossed him in different directions. He looked up with his last seconds and saw Riko, “I’m sorry.” He bled out a second later.

  He got a little happy after talking to Kaiya but that happiness turned into sadness once he stopped looking at Kaiya. “I’m good but you better not die, it's your turn to buy ice cream,” he smiled. He heard Satoshi call for help to Sokumi and himself. When Sokumi got there, he told him, use your hand and rotate them to make some strong winds and direct it towards evil Akuryo. He waited for Sokumi to do it. Once he did it, he made ice spears and threw them in the wind. The ice spears went so fast and headed towards Akuryo. It made direct contact and even slam evil Akuryo through a wall. Then after that, there was a huge explosion and it sent Ezume flying. He pushed the debris that was on top of him off of him. He got up and looked around. He heard Satoshi in his mind. Is everyone ok? Right when he was going to speak. He felt something, looking down he saw a dark matter blade through his chest. He thought it was evil Akuryo but it was actually Kohaku. He was blown over this way by evil Akuryo’s attack. “How could you,” he cried as he took his last breath. His body then fell to the ground.

  Yuzuki was grateful for his help, Sokumi completely winded Koahku faster than she could gather her resolve to fight. She was still remembering the days she spent with Kohaku and after three proposals, she finally accepted it. She had wanted to stand alone until she met him. but then suddenly she was with him everywhere bringing him into her court and trusting his knighthood. He'd said he loved her, and maybe he did it his own twisted way. Her friends were hurting now because Kohaku and Dia thought power and fear were more powerful than love and friendship. If she could just bring back the dragon inside her for just a little bit, even an instant. Kohaku was right, she was weak. After losing a part of herself she could only watch her friends die. She watched Kohaku, too distracted by her own thoughts to notice until a sword ran through Ezume's body. "no!" she screamed, running at Kohaku. For an instant, time stopped completely, then by the time that it continued for the living, Ezume's time had stopped, and Yuzuki was standing in front of Kohaku with her knife raised. She tried to stab him with it. Before she could stab Kohaku, something caught her attention, a scream she heard right before their communication shut down. She turned to Kaiya, leaving herself vulnerable with only the protection to defend her....and then Dia grabbed Kaiya. In an instant, Dia transformed Kaiya into liquid. Kaiya almost lost shape and turned into a puddle, but Yuzuki cast her magic on Kaiya before another friend could fully join the ranks of death. While stopping time for Kaiya, it also stopped time for Dia keeping them both in a state of stasis.

  Kaiya had lost concentration in battle as the army's numbers dwindled thanks to Riko's pet army. When she turned her attention back to her friends fighting, her eyes immediately searched for Ezume trying to reach his thoughts Where are you? Ezume? She turned when she saw him cast ice spears into Sokumi's wind, but a second alter a sword she didn't recognize slammer through his chest. Her eyes widened in horror, no, she thought, EZUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The communication channel between her friends broke and she came running at Kohaku forgetting the army at her back. As she was running, something or someone grabbed her hair and yanked her back. She met Dia's gaze with terror as her friend placed a palm on her cheek. When Dia touched her, Kaiya found an opportunity and used her own powers, but while she concentrated her body changed into water just like the sea Ezume loved.

  Riko screamed at the wolves begun trying to protect Kioshi, attacking the dark creature as it focused solely on Kioshi. For the first time ever, she wavered in battle. Kioshi was sliced through the middle with a dark matter sword. She stopped dead in her tracks, barely able to process what was happening. "Kioshi----" She cried out as time stopped in another one of her friend's bodies. His body lied there next to the evil Akuryo and she ran up to her friend stretching her hands out protectively, "you'll pay for this!" she pulled all her concentration ignoring the linked communication of her friends and focused on all the animals in the room and asked them to focus all their attacks on the void. Now! They swarmed it like an army of flying birds, wolves, and even rats.

  Dia was satisfied when the swarm of creatures finally stopped attaching her and went after the darkness that had begun killing off most of her former friends. One minute, a pack of wolves had been about to pounce on her, and then the next minute they had taken off after Akuryo. Free from any threat she searched the chaos to see who was left, but his eyes fell upon the sailor boy. It was such a shame, she'd always liked him. Well, oh well. She sighed and glanced at the living friends. Of course, Sokumi was still alive. Akuryo was starting to become a nuisance and a help. Satoshi wasn't dead yet, unfortunately...That left Riko, Kaiya, and the spoiled queen. She chose her target swiftly and biasedly, she turned on Kaiya---Kohaku could handle his own mistress if he lived long enough. She grabbed Kaiya's hair as she was bout to run past her to get to Ezume and evil Akuryo. Yanking Kaiya back, she smiled brutally, "I'll give you something to remember," she smiled, "let's see how well Yuzuki can keep you from dying like she has the rest of you losers." Her hand touched Kaiya's cheek and slowly their friend turned to water. A solid transparent shape that was identical to their friend, "I always hated you."
  Just when Dia thought she'd won and was about to walk away, her body suddenly dropped dead and her mind was sucked into Kaiya's necklace as a last combatant from their liquified friend.
  Dia's mind was sucked into an empty world inside the stone. She looked around the space, but only found her memories. At first, she couldn't understand what was happening, one minute she was about to walk away after killing Kaiya, then the next thing she knew---she regretting making contact with the succubus. She saw an image of her mother and stopped in her tracks. Her mother yelled at her, just floating in an empty white space. Dia blasted her magic at the old woman, but nothing happened. she touched the white floor under her and tried to will it into liquid---nothing. She fought against her memories, but they kept coming. At first, it was just images, then it was so life-like that as the memories returned they became a part of her. She screamed, but no one could hear her.

  Sumire nodded in understanding. So the gemstone was fighting back, she quickly recalled a time that Yuzuki had stopped them all from losing control. None of them had realized it, but that day wasn't just about Akuryo, but all her friends sharing some substance of the dangerous power that was originally born part of the dragon queen. She wasn't a fighter but her powers were capable of resurrection which could end up as deadly as Riko's power of communication. She closed her eyes from the vivid bright light Mitsuko created and focused on the gem's power emanating from Akuryo's mind. She thought, calm, and pushed it outward. It only lasted a second, but it was long enough for Sumire to take one look and catch the sword. She closed her eyes again and drew sliced the sword blindly. Sumire was surprisingly accurate even without her sight but kept using outward messaged to try and calm Mitsuko. Sumire felt cut after cut hit her from Mitsuko's sun stars, but none of them injured her enough before they healed. She opened her eyes again and this time cut a line across Mitsuko's chest watching her vanish. Sumire panted when the gem was gone, "what's next?" she looked at Akuryo.

  Satoshi? Everyone? Please fight, You must end this before we all perish. I'm sorry, Satoshi. I'm sorry everyone. I couldn't help you.....Hey, remember the day we all met for this first time. I remember. We'd all received the gems at separate times then Luna asked us to come to her garden. I was so excited and confused, but then when we all met having these uncontrollable powers. I felt like I belonged. For the first time in my life, I was really happy. Happier than dancing, happier than traveling, I had true friends. Even Dia and Kohaku were our friends. Please don't be mad at Akuryo for this. Satoshi...I've been wanting to say this for a while, but-------

  “We continue to look for the gem. Good job on taking her out. You were amazing out there,” he cheered. He looked at Sumire and was amazed. She had came a lot way since getting the gem. He remembered all the times she told him to be careful with the gem. She warned him that he was the strongest out of the fourteen. She also predicted that if he were to lose control, it would mean he might lose everyone around him, and she wasn’t wrong. The last time he was able to check, he had killed two of his friends, and the longer he is here the worse it will get. “Let's go, we still have to search more of this castle and we have to hurry. Do I even want to know what is going on out there in the real world?” he started to walk with her around the castle. Room after room they checked but nothing was there. Then they entered the hall and there in front of them were some more familiar faces. Kohaku, Dia, and a dark void looking person stood in front of them. A voice popped into his head. It was the girl from earlier that looked like Queen Luna, “there is the gem! That is your way out of this world. You have to beat him.” He was ready to get this over with,” thank you for all your help.” He turned to Sumire,” we have to kill that creature and we will be able to go back home.” Dia and Kohaku started to charge them. Dia used her power to turn herself as hard as a diamond and attacked Akuryo while Kohaku attacked Riko. Akuryo got his dark matter sword out and made contact with Dia but she was not affected. He then tried to suck her up but she stood her ground. Nothing was working, then he got an idea, he used a black hole under her. She got sucked in the black hole and she was now gone. Now that he took care of her, he saw Sumire doing ok with Kohaku, and he focused his attention on evil Akuryo. Akuryo charged him. He was no match for this being of pure destruction. Evil Akuryo blasted him back easily. Akuryo kept on trying but it was no use. This guy is too strong for him. Evil Akuryo had him trapped in the corner. Akuryo used his power to make a force shield around him and then was able to see the real world for a moment. He saw all his friends dying one by one and then worse of all he saw his Queen. She was using her powers to keep her friends and herself from not completely dying. This enraged him and something sparked inside of him. He transformed into this limitless state, but he looked different from evil Akuryo. He looked leaner and more muscular. You can look at him and see that it was Akuryo. He had dark purple wings. He looked amazing. Akuryo with his new power charged at evil Akuryo, and he was no match. Blow after blow it was starting to get to be too much for evil Akuryo. Akuryo created a bomb in his hand and got next to evil Akuryo. Once he got next to him he stabbed him in the chest and placed the bomb inside. Akuryo flew a little bit away and watched it explosion. The creature then exploded and the gem appeared. Akuryo has finally done it with the help of Sumire. He started to walk to the gem.
  
  Evil Akuryo- Evil Akuryo just got done killing off Kioshi, he looked for his next prey. He saw a little girl and a bunch of animals started to attack him. One by one he sucked the animal into him killing them. He got next to her and grabbed her by the head. Then he slammed her on the ground over and over and over. Smiling the whole time, he continued till he got bored of it. He dropped her on the ground and she wasn’t moving. Another person to add to his kill streak.

  He just got done with wiping clean his sword on Ezume's pants when he noticed the Queen behind him. The Knight looked at the Queen and felt bad for what he was doing. He has felt bad before when he was playing the whole thing with Dia. Also when he stabbed the Queen but for some reason right now he felt horrible. The woman that he had loved just watched him murder her friend. The life he had was horrible but it changed once he laid his eyes on the Queen. It was perfect and he had the perfect woman. "Power, " that word kept on popping in his head. Power has driven him mad. Maybe if he stops, she will forgive him, maybe he could fix everything he did wrong to her. His mouth opened but no words came out. Kohaku just stared at her for a moment. Then out of nowhere, Kohaku went flying and got smacked into a wall. The former Knight got up to see Sokumi standing there, “Oh you think you can kill me, I'm going to stab you just lik-----,” before Kohaku could finish, Sokumi ran in a circle and shot him with a lightning bolt. Kohaku saw it coming and before he got him. He was able to make a shield with both his arms. The knight was trying to put both arms back together but before he could Sokumi grabbed him from the back. Kohaku started to get spun around and around. then he got thrown up in the air. While in the air he got his arms back and made them into wings. He was able to land himself. Once the Knight landed Sokumi started to run in circles just like he did when he was trying to kill the Queen. Kohaku got nervous, and he didn’t know how to stop it. The knight was getting hit with debris and lightning bolts. A cut on his cheek, his neck, and his arm. The cuts were coming faster and it was becoming harder to regenerate. He started turning his arm into a spear and threw it at Sokumi. It missed its target and he kept on tiring. He was starting to lose consciousness when he got an idea. With his last bit of strength, he tried something new and turned his whole body into melted metal. It caused the speedster to trip. Then with the multed metal, he had on Sokumi, he turned it into solid metal and it caused the speedster not able to move. Kohaku's body then formed again but was missing his whole arm and shoulder. Sokumi was at his mercy. The Knight then grabbed a sword off the ground and stabbed Sokumi in the heart, killing him.

  Satoshi looked around, so many of his friends had gone down but they had not fully died yet. The Queen kept them alive for the meantime. The Queen, Sokumi, Riko, and himself were the only ones that were still alive. Every time he took a step it hurt. He wasn’t losing blood thanks to his Queen. Aria started to speak to him and tell him not to be mad at Akuryo. He understood what was happening and didn’t want to blame Akuryo for this. He just wanted this creature to die. Aria continued to talk to him but then she went silent. Aria! Aria! He continued to call for her but she wasn't responding. He dropped to his knees, what did you want to say? Still no response from her. He looked for Riko and he could see her fighting evil Akuryo. He got up and started to walk to her. Due to his injury, he wasn’t able to move. Satoshi tried his best but was not able to stop evil Akuryo.

  While looking for the Queen, he saw Kohaku bladed in Ezume’s chest. He just saw him a moment ago and he was fine. Sokumi couldn’t handle it anymore, the speedster ran at him and punched him in the face. The punch was so powerful and it sent Kohaku flying. “I had enough with you. You are dying right now,” he screamed. Not letting him finish his sentence, he ran around in circles and shot him with a lightning bolt. Kohaku saw it coming and blocked it. While he was blocking it, the speedster ran behind him and grabbed the Knight. Going around in circles as fast as he could, he tossed him in the sky and hoped he would just die when he landed. Once he landed, the speedster started to run around in circles just like he did when Kohaku was attacking the Queen earlier. Thanks to the Queen for keeping all his friends alive, he borrowed the speed of his fallen friends and started to attack Kohaku. The speedster threw everything he could find from his lightning bolts to swords on the ground. Kohaku tried to hit Sokumi with spears but he wasn’t able to hit the speedster. He went faster and faster and didn’t let up. Sokumi could see Kohaku struggling to stay up. In tears, he continued to attack Kohaku. He had so many cuts on him and it was starting to make it hard to recognize Kohaku. All this pain in him, he wasn’t going to stop, but then Kohaku disappeared. The floor under him changed and the speedster tripped. The melted metal that was all over him turned hard. Sokumi tried to break free but it wasn’t working. He watched Kohaku form out of the melted metal. The speedster couldn’t do anything and Kohaku came his way. The knight grabbed a sword off the ground and he watched him come by his side. The last thing Sokumi saw was Kohaku killing him.

With Sokumi taking care of Kohaku, it was only a matter of time before everyone was completely dead. She didn't want the violence to continue but she was slowly losing time.   When Dia was eleven years old, Yuzuki visited often. She started out at a garden momentarily confused. One minute she was fighting her friends and now she was eleven again. She blinked and a ghostly figure of her young self approached the princess. She was nine years old and in two years she would become queen, but what she didn't know was that Dia already despised her. Dia was supposed to "play nice" with Luna-hime, but instead she asked her to play hide and seek with her other friends. A group of kids that had no face stood beside Dia. The real Dia watched as the memory continued forward. Dia said to the queen, "no magic. No dragon. No cheating. We will hide somewhere and you will count to a minute to come find us." She nodded. Dia remembered later that day she asked why Luna kept that promise and didn't cheat even with what happened to her, and she said. "Because you asked me not to." It was the first time she thought the princess was weak. Dia and her friends ran off leaving her home to the market. For three hours they had fun and forgot about the royal brat, but when Dia returned home her mother slapped her in the face knocking her off her feet. Her mother scolded her and asked where the princess was, the queen, Luna's mother was searching for her. Dia's mother did not know they'd snuck out so Dia told her they were playing a game. A scream filled the silence and everyone came running to the source. Dia watched her younger self staring at the princess who was being grabbed by a man she recognized--a man who had done horrible things to her the night before. He had taken her to one of the many rooms in the minka, and had stripped Dia of her clothes. Now, much to Dia's amusement the princess was his next victim. He had her clothes ripped to shreds like he'd forced them off and grabbed Luna's neck trying to shut her up after her first scream had summoned us. Dia was a little disappointed how sloppy the man was, but then again she never screamed once. Before she could close the door and say that Luna wasn't there, the queen marched past her and her eyes widened in horror. She had the guards come to arrest the man, but he quickly grabbed a knife to the princess's throat. It seemed that even though he didn't recognize Luna, he did recognize the queen.
  "Well, he's a dead man," Dia heard her young self speak from where she still watched the memory play. No one said anything to Dia's remark, but everyone tensed as the princess was suddenly held hostage.
  Luna stared at the dagger with a blank look like it wasn't life threatening and slammed her foot down on the man. He cried out and dropped the knife but not without drawing a line of blood from the princess. To Dia's surprise her blood wasn't crimson but a white she'd never seen before. The princess was free for only a moment before the man grabbed her again.
  Luna's mom begged her to use her powers as the man even stabbed a dagger at the princess's back, but she didn't use her powers. She remembered the realization that Luna's promises were her bond, and that as long as Dia didn't open her mouth she would not use her powers. All Dia had to do was promise that as long as she was visiting the princess did not use her powers--and she didn't. Dia watched as the man collapsed suddenly. From the window, she saw a man raising a bow, a face that made the memory change.
  Suddenly, Dia was in the room with that man, Kohaku's father. She was seven years old, and her mother had gone away leaving him in charge. She'd been in her room when he suddenly came in. Dia thought nothing of it since he had been everywhere in the year he had started seeing her mother. But as she let her guard down, he suddenly disrobed. One second she was sitting on the bed screaming the next she was in another room getting beaten by her mother. The memories flashed one after the other haunting Dia like a film on fast forward.

  Sumire nodded and veered off to face Kohaku. She was happy to face Kohaku and angry at him for betraying them. For betraying the queen and her. She knew the real Kohaku didn't know her feelings or recognize her. When she first met him he had rescued her before she ever met the queen. Sumire remembered being grabbed by the strange men, she remembered the way they tied her up and the way they touched her before they dragged her out her mother's shop. They had dragged her by her arms and when Sumire started to scream the hilt of something hard slammed into her head. She woke up in the back of a cart, she couldn't tell how long they'd been traveling, but it must have been hours. Sumire didn't recognize the faces of the knights, but she did recognize their emblem. They had her tied to merchandize but were probably asked to bring her to the prince. Sumire struggled but instead of freeing herself the men looked at her. They held her captive for a few days, obviously taking their time, but when they reached the castle they had brough her all the way inside when a man she only recognized when she saw him again had claimed he would escort her to the Prince's chambers. She didn't make it halfway when the man cut her bindings and said she was too ugly to become a mistress. Sumire was grateful, but couldn't escape on her own so Kohaku, the man who had helped her brought her to a noble he was dating and asked for assistance. With the woman's help she escaped and the was the last time she'd seen the handsome knight. When she finally seen him again, he was dating the queen. She could only watch from afar until now. Now he had betrayed the queen and the people he'd trusted the most.
  Sumire tuned her mind back to reality and prepared her sword for revenge. She cut across the gems shoulder, but he easily dodged. One after the other she recklessly cut.
  Kohaku's face started to peel off melting until he was muscle and bone, taking more mass to his hands until a full sword appeared. He met her blade and she fought the skeleton. She thought for a way to overpower him and remembered a trick Satoshi taught her for defense. She completely lowered her guard. The gem was confused for an instant, but it rushed forward on instinct. Without thinking, Sumire waited till it rushed at her and rammed its sword through her chest and then she did the same with hers. Sumire stabbed Kohaku through the chest and apologized, "I should have healed your wounds a long time ago." When the gem disappeared she looked at Akuryo, "I'm good," she smiled faintly, her body slowly disappearing, but not gone.

  He got to the gem but it wasn’t budging. Nothing was working and he looked at Sumire,” The gem is not moving do you ha------- Sumire what is happening to you.” She looked like she was disappearing and then he noticed the hole in her chest. “Sumire what is going to happen to you,” he cried.
  
  Evil Akuryo- Many of the Queen's friends have died by the hands of evil Akuryo. He had enjoyed killing Taimatsu, Aria, Kioshi, and Riko. Evil Akuryo looked around the hall for his next victim. His eyes then met the Queen’s eyes. She was walking toward him. A smile then appeared on his face as he flew towards the Queen's direction. He made it to the Queen but when he got there it was different. The whole time this creature has been relying on instinct but once he got close to her all he could do is stare.

  What is done is done, the Queen will not forgive him. He looked around for her but wasn’t able to find her or Dia. if she was still alive, she would probably tell him to shut up and fight. He’d never considered himself smart like Dia, Dia who’d been capable of sinister acts, or powerful like the floor that was still transparent, but he wasn’t weak. He wasn’t afraid either. He rose from the ground, but his movement lagged from the damage Sokumi caused him. His face was smashed into his skull like someone had smashed through clay,, His body had cuts and bruises, deep gashes from the fight. Kohaku summoned his body fat toward the wounds despite his fit nature, the skin slithered like spiders to fix up his handsome face and stick the skin back together. It didn’t take much to heal his wounds, but under his tunic, his skin was missing. The knight had always been thin, but because of the borrowed fat, he looked smaller than usual. The plan was as good as dead, well at least as long as Akuryo was still wandering around like a loose cannon, first, they needed to bring him back, and then secondly, he needed to force the queen to combine the stones again. Maybe that way he could save Dia. He was about to put his plan into action, but then his eyes met with Satoshi and he knew it was time for the fight he’d always known would come. He had always known Satoshi was his superior despite being the same age, but this time the royal guard who’d been a nuisance since he’d started dating Luna, was officially handicapped. He gathered almost his entire right arm and formulated something eerily similar to the dark sword Akuryo held. The sword was longer than his first formula, but this time he’d used more of his arm---even if he was injured Kohaku would not underestimate him, but he would take advantage of it. They raised each other's sword and met sword for sword, hitting hit for hit despite Satoshi’s leg injury, but Kohaku kneed him. While Satoshi was falling back, Kohaku was able to give one more good hit on his stomach, and it caused him to bleed more. At that moment he regenerated his missing limb to make something new. With everything back, he moved all matter from his back to form hard metal three inch spikes that formed on his shoulders, elbows, hands, and chest.
  While Satoshi was still ravaling from the injury, in his kneecap, he overpowered the Chief with a tackle. He sent him to the floor and stabbed him in seven different places. As he raised from the floor, blood dripped down the metal spikes, he marveled at the damage caused to his enemy. He reshaped himself back to human form but formulated his sword a second later. He then lifted it up above his head to cut him down, but before he brought the long blade down a series of throwing knives came at him. Stunned, he tried to move to dodge but one hit his right eye and he lost his vision there. He gathered more of his body, pulling from his lesser parts. The other three knives hit his shoulder and chipped his ear. While focusing on regenerating his face, a sword dug into the shoulder of his right arm causing his one available eye to widen. He quickly reattached the arm with more of his own matter, but the attacks kept coming each time he fixed one there was a second bigger one. He tried deflecting with his sword, but Satoshi---despite his injury---seemed to be running off adrenaline. Left cut across his cheek. Right across his forearm. Across his chest. But why was he so much slower than Satoshi, was Queen Luna still decreasing his speed, was Luna or Sokumi offering Satoshi more speed. It was infuriating. He lashed out sloppily and angrily. Kohaku felt like Satoshi could see his attacks coming a mile away. Kohaku’s attacks weren’t even landing anymore. Just as Kohaku was about to use another method, his sword hand was cut clean off his wrist. His scream echoed the entire hall, bouncing the high ceilings and alerting all those that were still alive. Kohaku went for a second attack, but his attack missed by an inch. Frustrated by that he kept on attacking. The more he tried to swing his sword, the more he missed his target. This caused his frustration to increase, the Knight was confused. He was missing without any explanation as to why.

  The vision he saw came true. All his friends one by one were dying. He had hope but it was slowly going away again. Not able to hear Aria and saw Riko get killed brutally. All he could do was watch in horror. Looking for the Queen, he made eye contact with Kohaku, and the Knight started to walk towards Satoshi. Never in his life did he want to kill someone so bad. So much hate and it's all thanks to that guy Kohaku. The long anticipated fight between Kohaku and Satoshi was about to start. The Chief watched him turn his arm into a sword and he gripped his hand tighter on his sword. Satoshi looked at his gash on his leg, lucky to be alive, but it was all thanks to his Queen for using her powers. The pain he got when he got into his fighting stance was atrocious. He never liked Kohaku and it got worse when he started to date her. Kohaku in the Chief’s eye was someone not to be trusted. This fight is going to be tough with him be handicapped but he would do anything for the Queen’s protection. The sword the Knight had was different this time. As he tightened the strap on his shield, he started to think about the shield, and how it was a gift from the Queen. The shield was made out of steel and the steel was black. It had a chrome aluminum plate over the steel and it had a blue, silver, and pink dragon design on the aluminum plate. The shield was gorgeous and it was made by Taimatsu. They raised each other’s sword and met sword for sword, even though Satoshi was injured, they met blow to blow. As they clashed, Satoshi got kneed and started to fall to the ground. Before he could hit the pavement, Kohaku got a good hit on him, and he could see a huge cut on his stomach. The cut was definitely fatal but thanks to the Queen he didn't lose that much blood. The cut on his leg and the newly cut on his stomach was getting too much and he could barely bear the pain. He stumbled to regain his balance when he saw what looked like Kohaku with spikes all over his front, tackled him. More and more cuts started to appear as Kohaku got off of him. The Chief saw his blood dripped off his spikes. Aria's face then appeared in his mind and then Yuzuki. Kohaku's sword came down to his face when he got the motivation to continue the fight and threw a few throwing knives at his face, making contact. With this new rush of motivation, he charged at Kohaku and made contact a few times. One hit took off his shoulder and his arm. He could feel that Kohaku's moments were slower than usual and it was the Queen that slowed his speed from before. More and more attacks were landing on him, his forearm, his chest, and one barely cut his cheek. That attack was meant for his throat. Satoshi could see how frustrated Kohaku was getting and he used that to his advantaged. He went on the defensive and every attack Kohaku was dealing with was missing an inch or more. The Chief was a skilled fighter and could see how sloppy Kohaku got. He got his opportunity to strike and he did that. Satoshi watched him in pain as he sliced his hand clean off. The more Kohaku missed the more he got frustrated and the easier the fight got for Satoshi.

  Luna finally approached Akuryo with a chance to speak to him, "Stop this," she said, her moon crown glowing so brightly as if her voice was a command. "There is no need for more violence," she frowned, "Akuryo. I'm sorry for all this. That charm was only supposed to be used in cases of extreme emergence, but I was selfish and didn't take back my magic," she tried to reach out to touch the vortex, "do you remember that day you sent me that letter? I let my shield around the castle down and came to meet you, but as I was too distracted I hadn't realized it when you disappeared. I met Kohaku at the coffee shop and he took credit for the letter. Or maybe I just misunderstood him. Either way, I didn't see you again tell the ships had sailed into the seas. I boarded Ezume's ship with his father and led the attack, but when I saw you----I just lost control. I remember it. I understand how you feel more than anyone else here. I was born a dragon and yet I was fighting against myself. Human or dragon, and I chose to be human. I was always afraid because of my own instincts, but I knew you were stronger than me. Stronger, kinder, and I trusted you more than myself. Do you remember how I lost control?" She stepped dangerously close, "you're probably facing the gems in there too, probably facing yourself. I killed a thousand more than you can count, but this time i can't stop us from falling." She tensed, but remained strong, fearing that he might make a move he would regret or that he wouldn't hear her voice. Luna pulled in closer and reached toward the dark voids hand, but didn't grab him in order to keep the barrier between them, "you were always there for me. Even when I didn't know it, you were there protecting me. I wish you'd told me the truth back when I asked you about the letter, a part of me had been hoping you'd written it. You didn't take credit though, you never grabbed my hand or told me your feelings… I thought Kohaku had done it all, but it was you, wasn't it? I didn't even believe you when you tried to tell me their plans or when you two faught that day I asked you to leave." She cried. She turned to Satoshi to see his injuries building up, she focused on stopping his wounds before another one of her friends died, but the more she concentrated the more she felt time start to slip by. She turned away from Satoshi gathering all the stopped time from her friends and keeping her magic strong. Just a little bit longer, she told herself.
  Yuzuki wanted to tell him her feelings, her deep hidden feelings for Akuryo and how the letter had been the last thread of hope when she lost control all those moons ago. She just hooe it wasn't too late, "Akuryo!' She threw herself at him, trying to reach into the darkness like she were going to hug him.

  Akuryo(Dreamworld)- He reverted back to his normal self and ran to Sumire. “No. No. No no no. You can’t leave me,” he cried, “Sumire I need your help. You’re the only one I have in this world.” She then disappeared in his arms a moment later. A tear hit her face and he wiped it away. “I’ll save them,” he promised. He ran to the gem that was floating. Looking at the gem he tried to grab it but it wouldn’t budge a inch. He tried for what seemed like hours but it was only 10 mins. Looking at his arm, he backed off about a yard, tried to make a sword, but nothing happened. “I must be out of coffee,” he mumbled. Coffee, he needs to make some coffee. He turned around and ran to the kitchen to make some. A moment later, he had a big cup of coffee, and finished the cup in a few seconds. Looked at his arm and there was a sword. He ran back to the gem and swung as hard as he could. Before it even touched the gem, it hit a small force field that surrounded the gem, and it didn’t even leave a mark. He tried to turn back to his limitless form but it wouldn’t let him. Swing after swing but nothing even budged the shield. He cried out, Yuzuki! Yuzuki! Yuzuki.” Each time he said her name his voice went lower and lower as he dropped to his knees. A second later, it was dark, and then he could see. Satoshi and Kohaku were there in front of him. Looking at Satoshi, he was surprised and shocked that he was still standing with his injuries. Then he turned and saw the Queen. She was facing his evil self and then the room went dark again. He was back in front of the gem. Seeing his Queen in front of that monster scared him. He was scared that she would die and there was nothing he could do. That feeling he had sparked something in him and yet again he transformed to his limitless form. Blow after blow the shield took more and more till it couldn’t take it anymore. The shield started to crack and then shattered into pieces. The colors looked like a rainbow when he watched the shattered pieces fall and disappeared. Once it disappeared, he heard a voice all around him. It was the Queen, she was trying to talk to his evil self but he couldn’t see her. “I’m here! I’m here. Queen Luna, I'm trying to break free,” he cried out. It didn’t seem like she could hear him but it didn’t stop him from trying. He kept trying but still nothing. Everything that happened, it was all because of the gems, and he hated it. Dia and Kohaku would have probably done the same if there were no gems. None of his friends would have died if the gems didn’t exist. All the Queen wanted was peace and the gems caused chaos. Enraged by everything he was thinking. Enraged that the Queen had probably died already, he struck the gem, and to his surprise it moved. He kept on hitting it over and over. The gem started to crack and he kept on hitting it. The more he hit it the more it cracked. He stopped and looked at it after a while. The gem needed one more good hit and it will finally break. He went into the air and made a huge ball of dark matter and threw it at the gem. A huge explosion then happened after it made contact with the gem. He looked at the gem and it was glowing. Then it shattered and there was an even bigger explosion. Akuryo quickly made a dark matter force field to protect himself. The blast leveled the entire castle. After the smoke cleared, there was a smaller gem in its place. Then the gem started to go to him and form a glove on his hand. A moment later it went dark and then right in front of him was Queen. She looked like she was jumping on him. He reverted to his human self and cried,” Queen Lu----,” before he could finish it went dark and he bled out. The queen was the last thing he saw.
  
  Evil Akuryo- He stood there motionless, frozen, like when the townspeople asked him to freeze fish for them. This is the first time since he came into this world that he was not destroying anything or anyone. It looked like the monster was actually listening to Yuzuki. She was different in his eyes and was not attacking him like the others. That smile was still formed on his face. His head tilted downward as she tried to touch him. Evil Akuryo looked at her hand then her face, trying to see if she was a hostile target, but then he felt something. An atrocious pain came upon inside him, one he could not explain. He started to scream and claw at his face, trying to stop the pain. This pain was killing him from the inside, like he was getting ripped apart. He screamed at her on the top of his lungs and started to attack her. The monster scratched and clawed but there was a force field protecting the queen. The pain continued and it caused the monster more frustration. Evil Akuryo turned his hands to sword and swung them repeatedly. Each sword made contact with the shield. Frustrated, he went to attack her from all angles, and with no such luck, he tried to bang his head on the shield. While banging his head repeatedly, the monster noticed a tiny crack on the shield. Again, he screamed at the top of his lungs and he clawed at the crack. The longer she spoke the angrier he became, but his plan was working. However as he was banging on the shield, he could feel himself losing more control. Some attacks were powerful while other attacks seemed to do nothing. Still, it didn’t stop the void from attacking, and the more he attacked the more the shield was showing signs of breaking. The power that he had was supposed to be limitless but the barrier that Aria made was nearly unbreakable. After a little bit of time, the shield was close to break, but the monster’s attacks were weakening. He was loving the resolve and patience and his attention span was shortening, now concentrated more on the war within himself. Just as he was about to give up, he threw on a heavy punch where the crack had first formed, it shattered. First it was like a million shards of glass and then it dispersed into cheery blossoms that vanished as they hit the floor below them. The woman in front of him with a crown atop her head and sad eyes was suddenly vulnerable and human in front of him. They were alone in the world for a second, but another sharp pain surged electrically though his body. He raged at Luna. He went in for an attack and clawed at her face; he then grabbed her by the leg and started to slam her on the floor multiple times. After each attack the monster would feel dizzy like he was the one being injured instead. He would back off, claw at his face, because of the pain. While he was in pain, he never lost sight of her and he rushed at her like a raging boar. He grabbed her by the hair and formed a dagger. He stabbed her in the stomach, her waist and her leg---and then dropped her. She hit the floor so suddenly that it was like the creature lost his grip, but this time he did not come back after her. He stopped in his tracks, confused and blank. The last thing it saw was the queen rising from the floor like she was in a trance, then she turned and threw herself at him.

  The battle raged on and Kokaku was not doing any better. Still confused as to what was going on. His attacks kept missing by an inch and a half and he felt like a turtle. Kohaku felt like Satoshi could see his attacks from a mile away. It was annoying, he hated Satoshi, and now was losing against him. Kohaku has always hated Satoshi since their parents introduced them when they were young. Satoshi was perfect, had the perfect life, and two loving parents. They would always compete in fencing and Satoshi would always beat him. Thanks to Satoshi, after every challenge was lost, Kohaku’s father would beat him. One time, they had a one on one fight between the two and Satoshi completely humiliated him in front of the whole kingdom. That was the worst day of his life and his father made it even worse. He quickly went to where his hand was and tried to reattach it. Before he could, he heard the footsteps from Satoshi, but it was too late. He saw the sword coming at him and thought fast, he used the matter from his back to make a shield on his left hand. Before he could block the attack, Satoshi struck his bicep. He was in trouble now with both arms out of commissions due to a few blows to the arms, he was left helpless.. He watched as Satoshi came in for the final attack, but Kohaku already had an idea. As the sword came close to him, he turned the skin of his upper chest to steel, and the sword shattered on contact. Kohaku used all of his bones and muscles in his body to make his skin out of steel. Thanks to that, Satoshi backed off for a moment, and the Knight was able to catch his breath. Kohaku wasn’t able to do much with no bones and muscles in his body, so he reverted back to normal, and grabbed his missing limbs. While Kohaku reattached everything, Satoshi was able to grab another sword from the ground and walked towards Kohaku. He watched as Satoshi looked calm and confident. This enraged him and he formed his dark matter sword again. If he could just hit him a couple more times in the leg---maybe, just maybe he could beat him. Again he tried to damage Satoshi but his attacks were still missing. Frustrated, he continued to swing, but to outsiders he looked like a blind man swinging a sword sloppily. While clashing, Satoshi was able to make contact with his right leg and he sliced it clean off. His body collapsed to the hard floor, but before he lost too much blood, Kohaku instinctively utilized some fat so he could cover the wound. Satoshi looked like a different person, his yellow eyes violent and angry. Satoshi had always been a good guy and a man who disliked violence. This wasn't the same man. The knight tried to crawl to his lost limb which had been kicked a few feet away from him, but a sword stopped him in his tracks. Stabbed through the abandoned limb was Satoshi's new sword. Despite himself he continued to crawl, but there was no retaliation. To his surprise, Satoshi pulled his sword out of the arm and stepped away to watch. The chief waited until the limbs were fully reattached, giving Kohaku time to think. To plan. Satoshi getting down on his knees summoned his attention, interrupting his thoughts.
  
  He could see the anger, the hate, and sadness in Satoshi’s eyes. The knight looked down at the ground knowing he had lost again. The queen’s expression suddenly filled his thoughts, her sadness, her joy, her warmth... He recalled their first date, he could remember how beautiful, and shy she was. The garden was where they had their first date. They had a picnic in the center of the garden and that was where he kissed her for the first time. Her lips were so soft and innocent. She told him that he was the first guy to kiss her. He remembered how shocked he was when he found out about that. She was so beautiful but she was never really into guys. He was the first person she liked and it was because of a lie. That letter he told her that he wrote was a lie and now he may never see her again. A tear went down his face, followed by more, and he looked up to match Satoshi’s eyes as the sword slowly entered his body. He felt searing hot pain that was too much for any normal person to bear, and all that pain aimed right for his heart.

  Kohaku had been cut badly, but lucky for him he moved his heart at the last minute. He laid there staring at the empty ruined ceiling , but it somehow seemed much further away than it did earlier. Blood was soaking his clothes from all the wounds he had received and his mind was light headed. He knew his wounds had not affected him like they should have, perhaps despite his betrayal the queen still was stopping their injuries? He recalled a time when a dragon slaughtered eight thousand men and brought them back from the dead. Luna had done that. She’d lost control, but she still spared her enemies all for that stupid prince. She’d been supposed to meet him the night before, but instead they’d bumped into each other and she lied. Lied and told her he wrote that letter. If only she knew just how many things he’d done to hurt her, not just stabbing her or killing their friends, but…..if only they’d won. The dragon he’d fallen and obsessed over wound have finally returned----
  He made an effort to sit up and his eyes searched for the queen who was getting brutally abused by Akuryo. Images of his father filled his mind and his eyes widened slightly. Horror and pain filled his every thought and he tried to rise, but could not stand. He dragged himself across the floor, his legs still not fully recovered, and dragged himself. He carried himself all the way to evil Akuryo’s back side and thrust his arm that had formed a sword long enough for him to run his arm through. When he pulled it out he barely recognized the black haired man standing in front of him. He barely registered his hate, before he finally collapsed from internal bleeding.

  The battle was starting to become one sided and Satoshi was looking unstoppable in Kohaku’s eyes. The pain that he once had was fading. He had taken so much damage but his will to fight kept him going. He barely felt the damage in his legs. One leg was badly injured to a point that he could not move it properly. He had a bunch of holes when Kohaku stabbed him with his spikes.The chief was normally an honorable knight, but Kohaku had done so much to betray their trust that Satoshi was going to enjoy getting revenge. He started by using his powers, secretly using his influence to see through Kohaku's moves. Every attack that Kohaku threw missed him by inches, and the chief watched as Kohaku's face was getting as red as Taimatsu's flames. Kohaku tried to reach for his hand, but Satoshi cut him off his path swinging his sword in between them. He swung down a second time and sliced the traitor's arm cleanly off. With both of his arms gone, it seemed like a good time to finish the fight. He raised his arms high, then striked down fast like lightning, but the instant it made contact with Kohaku---the sword shattered. Like a villain out of a video game, his sword broke into pieces on the transparent marble. Shocked to see this, he looked at Kohaku, and his body wasn't the same. Morphed from skin was steel covering his chest where the blade had made contact. He took a step back and looked for a sword from the fallen companions. This was the first time he acknowledged the brutal battle field and the soldiers that had piled in as enemies and allies. He picked up a sword from a fallen knight, but when he looked up, Kohaku had already formed his sword again and attacked him. However, everytime the Knight attacked, he would miss and miss again. Satoshi was done toying with him, his queen was in trouble, he barely was able to note Luna's shield had shattered when a solid punch slammed into his face. Stumbling, he turned back into the battlefield needing to stay focused, this was the last thing he could do for the queen. He arched his sword up fast and brought it back down diagonally at Kohaku's legs. He sliced the first leg clean off, but barely scarred the second. The Knight collapsed to the ground, but Satoshi just watched him in satisfaction. He watched him crawl to get his leg back, and till his enemy had fully reattached the limb. He took a knee in front of the defeated Knight, staring into his amber eyes with his cold gold ones. Satoshi's face turned serious and thoughtful as if he were studying the man's future, and what caused him to act so terribly.
  His power was supposed to change the future, to stop these things from happening, but just like before he failed to do anything. It was all his fault. The queen gave him this power and his vision still came true. He was furious with himself and with Kohaku.
  He dug his sword slowly in his chest, ”you deserve every second of this.” He watched the Knight take his last breath and pulled the sword swiftly out of the man's chest. He should have felt better now, after killing the traitor, but all he felt now were tears that threatened to consume him. It was all over for Kohaku, but now there was one final enemy left to deal with. Akuryo, their friend..
  Satoshi rushed as fast as he could to go assist the queen, but he was in so much pain. A wave of pain hit him. All the injuries from the battle had suddenly rushed back in a sea of fire burning his wounds, but not opening up into spouts of blood. He walked faster. It must have been the adrenaline that kept him fighting, but now that the fight was over he was losing energy fast. He was amazed that his body gave him this much time. His vision became blurry and he fell to the ground. His whole body felt like it was on fire. Every breath he took felt like burning needles all inside of him. While on the ground, he looked in the queen's direction, and stretched his hand out like he was trying to grab her. His heart was beating so fast like it was going to rip out of his chest. He felt a sharp pain in his chest and then he died.

  The end happened so fast, Satoshi and Kohaku were fighting, time was slowing down for Luna, and for a second all she could see were the souls of her dying friends mingling with the glowing fragments of her scales. Each gem hovered above their body like it was waiting for a final order, like they were waiting to finally die with me. The gem's bright glow was dimming as I imagined mine was starting to become cloaked in shadows. Her friends had fallen. She couldn't offer much help but meddle with the timing of Kohaku's moves and the timing of their injuries. It wasn't much, but when Satoshi received the fetal blow she had intensified her magic and even used the power of her friends to amplify her magic. He hadn't yet fallen from the extreme wounds, but that was perhaps due to the speed of his injury. He'd almost looked defeated, but overpowered Kohaku anyway. Despite her attention to the battle her eyes and heart had completely taken to the void standing before her. She had felt each impact it made on Aria's shield, like invisible cuts on her heart. In her mind she screamed out to him while she spoke what might be her final words to him.
  At least one of my friends should live….
  Her shield shattered in an instant, taking her by surprise, but she didn’t stop reaching out with her voice begging Akuryo to come back to her. She got beaten and bruised, bullied and bloodied. All her wounds were frozen, but her tears and sorrow wouldn’t end. She stopped feeling the pain sometime after the first set of scratches, but each time she was knocked off her feet she stood up again. More. One more time. Please let her voice reach him. She kept hoping, kept pleading, and then her body hit the ground. She felt like a doll who could not break, or a punching bag that just came back for more. She rose slightly, and for just an instant, the darkness vanished and human skin appeared to surface. His black hair and icy blue eyes, his pale skin and sad smile----she could almost hope----then he was stabbed.
  Stabbed before her, human Akuryo, the man she so desperately wanted to save.
  Her insides were screaming louder than her dragon's roar, her body was frozen along with the time stopping so many wounds. She only stared as his body fell to the floor barely aware as Kohaku collapsed with him.
  No, no, no….. Noooo!
  Time froze, not moving forward or backward just stayed still so that no one else would die, so that no one else would know. After watching her friends fall, she'd lost herself to despair. Sumire.Taimatsu. Mitsuko. Aria. Kioshi. Ezume. Kaiya. Dia. Riko. Sokumi. Kohaku. Satoshi. And Akuryo----she stared out the window seemingly far away at birds frozen in the sky. She stared at the battling soldiers and remaining animals, and finally the gems still floating darkly over the deceased. Yes, all her friends were dead, but she'd also stopped them from dying. No one could move on or finish dying, they were just sleeping. No matter what, she told herself, her friends were dead. The room was wide enough to fit a village and the ceilings stretched high like a church. The entire room was shaped like a dome and normally used as a ballroom. Luna was going to have her wedding here, but it was not destroyed. Beams had collapsed in on themselves, the wall was barely holding itself, and half the interior had fallen causing frozen debree to mist the air. The floor was visually missing, and a window had sprayed glass shards that seemed to float and shine like gemstones. From the ballroom, the floor below was visible but the rooms below didn't compare to the original marble and white columns encircling the room.
  It could hold hundreds but was only supposed to be fourteen, now there were bodies littering the floor.
  Queen Luna gracefully moved past her fallen friends one by one, grabbing the floating gems without touching them directly. Her hands cupped each stone in a sea of colors. Emerald. Topaz. Ruby. Amethyst. And so on until she carried each stone. It was a slow and long process that---if the clocks had been ticking---might have taken fifteen minutes to gather. After laying out the gem ceremoniously, she stared at the whole in the ceiling above her head and looked toward the blue sky. Stars and moonlight dotted the sky and seemed to be watching her in their timeless state.
  "Im sorry, everyone," her voice was soft, "this is the last hope I have," she did not fuse the stones, but instead removed her crown and laid it on a broken column.
  Two years of a timeless world and she had delivered fourteen accessories to completely remote locations. Within the two years or maybe it was one---it was impossible to know how much time had passed when time was frozen. It was a long, lonely time for the queen, but when she returned nothing had changed for her or her friends….like she never left.
  When she returned she grabbed the gems and blew them gently into the wind causing each one to fly away like feathers on the wind, "please forgive me," she repeated the same words as before. She watched the stones fly with the wind seeing their souls attached to the gem and vanish into the sky. Time jumped back to normal and she grabbed her own stone and sent it away with the birds.
  The next minute splatters of blood filled her vision from her friends cuts that hadn't been able to bleed. At first it was all the injuries of her friends passing on in order of their deaths, and then her injuries slammed into her. It started with the searing pain of being stabbed in the stomach, followed by a long series of cuts she didn't realize she had. Her wounds flooded with blood like a waterfall of crimson tearing at her skin. Cuts sprayed from everywhere she'd been scarred yet she still stood there with a gaping hole in her chest and tears down her face.. She tried hard and focused on the last bit of strength she had left and started to leave the castle, a trail of blood following her. She made it halfway down the hall before her body collapsed under her. She died at midnight. Her spirit lingered in the hall for a moment and she watched the empty hallway like the castle had been abandoned. Instead of souring to the sky, Luna turned around and returned to the ballroom. She'd almost forgotten her wounds as she stared at nothing, but grief filled her vision when she returned to the battlefield. She floated toward the stump of what used to be a beam that formed a series of archways where a silver crown was placed. She carried it with her and headed back the way she came. The ghostly form continued outside the castle where a dragon statue formed in the front. She placed a palm on the statue but her hand passed through it, "I'm sure we will all meet again," she stepped into the dragon and disappeared, but the crown had somehow reappeared on the dragon's head.

  The gems disappeared from the world for one hundred years, when the rebirth first started. Every one hundred years from that terrible night they were reborn again, till one day they would find the accessories again---

  Yuzuki Usagi was left at the doorstep of a coffee shop on a cold winter night. No one knows how long she'd been left out there, but blankets of snow had piled the sidewalks. She'd been protected from the snow by the porch, but her skin was white and pale as ice. Luckily, a woman stepped out of the coffee shop as she was closing and found the infant.
  She was adopted into the family; her father worked at a jewelry store and her mother owned the coffee shop. Her mother was pregnant, but they still treated Yuzuki like their own.
  Who would have guessed that the abandoned child had so many past lives?

  She stared at the new school, big castle walls on a beautiful island straight out of a fantasy book. She remembered when her father told the entire family he was transfering she'd been upset about switching schools until she came and saw it with her own two eyes. It had only been opened for six years, but it was older than most of the museums. She'd read about its interesting history and the meaning behind the huge dragon statue mounted in the front of the building with a small Silver crown atop its oversized head. The beautiful moonstone shining at the top. The dragon was sitting down in a calm posture similar to a dog, but its features were nothing like the fairytales. It was beautiful and feline with hair and horns. The white marble was elegant and aged, vines and flowers had wrapped around its body, but what caught my eye wasn't the almost glowing white eyes, but the small pearls lining down its long neck on both sides. She silently counted seven on both sides each stone matching the stories. Obviously, none of it was real. Even the stones were fake, but the dragon looked so life-like down to its human sized claws.
  The statue at the top in the front of the castle as if looking over the city behind her. Only one long bridge connected the island, leading to a series of long stairs. That would be the entrance. Looking closer, the castle had been restored and modernised a lot sense its reconstruction. According to the tourist brochure, 500 years ago the castle was destroyed and the kingdom was abandoned. Historians say they worshipped dragons, and their queen was a dragon, well that's only a metaphor. Still, after lots of debate she couldn't believe they turned the building into a high school.
  Yuzuki looked at the picture in the brochure, "wow." She shoved in her messenger bag and followed the student across the bridge. The bridge was very different from the brochure, it had no place for cars, but it was wide enough to have two streets. On both sides were a long stretch of grass with decorative sakura trees evenly spread down the walkway, its blossoms littering the floor in a mix of concrete and pink petals. She stopped at the doorway and looked up, the dragon seemed to double in size and somehow look ominous as it cast its wide shadow overhead. Even thought its wing were folded in, the way its claws raked the edge of the building made it look like it could leap off at any second. She shuddered, "creepy." She stepped inside.

  Akuryo wasn’t able to sleep. He was too nervous about school. He was about to be a new student at where his mother works. He had an issue with a guy at the last school. This guy was beating on a girl and Akuryo protected her. The worst part about it was that the guy he fought was the principal's son. It was the middle of his freshman year when it happened and he got expelled. Akuryo’s mother was actually happy about it. She had been trying to get him into her school his freshman year but Akuryo turned it down because of how expensive it was. Akuryo didn’t want to go, he felt like it would be taking advantage of her but now he had no choice.
  Akuryo had his own room and it was huge. It wasn’t like it was when he lived with his parents but he wasn’t complaining. The house was definitely on the richer side of town up in the hills. He rolled out of his king-size bed and went towards the door of his room. It was 5:15 am and he went downstairs to make some coffee. As he was walking to the kitchen, he got distracted by the sounds of mashing buttons and it was his brother Ezume on his laptop. He already knew what he was doing but he asked anyway. “ What are you doing? Have you been awake the whole time? We got school in a few hours.” Ezume's family took in Akuryo a while back. He doesn’t like to bring it up but he went through a lot but thanks to this girl who saved him and Ezume, he was given a second chance. “Well, I'm awake now so I'm going to make some coffee. Do you want some coffee,” he smiled. Akuryo already knew that he didn’t like coffee but he liked to tease him. Ever since that night, he had gotten closer to Ezume. Akuryo wished he could see that girl again from the bridge but he hasn’t been able to find her. “Let's watch that new horror movie that came out last Friday. Are you done or too busy with school work? They watched the movie together while Ezume worked on his project for college. After the movie, it was time for school and they got ready. Ezume’s mom was waiting for them in the kitchen. She had made them a new dish they haven’t seen before. It was bread that had a hole in the middle. In the middle, it had an egg. “Thank you very much. It was so delicious,” Akuryo smiled and bowed to her. It was time for school now and Akuryo was so excited. It was his first day in a new school. As they were walking they came across a beautiful motorcycle. There was a guy riding it and he was staring at them. He was amazed at the school as they walked together on the bridge. Akuryo loved the pattern on the ground and as he walked it gave the arrows on the ground a moving effect. Then the dragon caught his eye. It was so amazing and he loved it. It also looked familiar like he saw it before. The dragon looked so beautiful but also sad. The dragon looked like something actually happened to it. Like it lost someone. He also noticed a line under the dragon’s eye. Like it was a tear or something. The dragon was hurting and the sadness bothered him till he was interrupted by Ezume.

  “Earl leave me alone,” he cried. That sentence was repeated over and over and over. Kohaku twisted and turned in his bed. He was sweating and kept on repeating that sentence out loud. He had a girl next to him that he slept with last night from another school. It was one of the many girls that he had been with. She woke up and then saw him freaking out. She tried to wake him up. After a moment, Kohaku stood up fast and screamed,” leave me alone!” Kohaku was breathing heavily and sweating like a faucet. He turned to her and told her to go back to bed. Kohaku got out of bed, grabbed his phone, and went outside of his apartment. It was a small apartment and he didn’t have much stuff. The apartment was located on the outskirts of the city. Those memories always come back and he wondered how long it would take to forget. He looked at his phone and noticed 34 new messages from his other girlfriend. It was 2:41 am and he had school later on in the morning. He put on some music and laid on the ground outside and went back to sleep. He was then woken up by his girlfriend and she asked if he could take her to her school. Kohaku drove her to her school then started to head towards Lunar High. As he headed to school he came to a stop sign. Two boys walked in front of him and stared a little at him. They were probably staring at his motorcycle. He finally got to school and turned off his bike.

  “Oshiete oshiete yo sono shikumi wo boku no na”---, Satoshi taps stop on his alarm on his phone. It was 4:30 am and he put on his socks and running shoes. Still tired and rubbing his eyes, he heads out of his apartment. Satoshi lived in the city close to Lunar High and he usually passed it on his 5-mile run. After his run, he headed inside his apartment and got a shower. He ate his breakfast, got ready, and now it was time for his meeting with the school council. Satoshi has been the president of the student council since he was a freshman because of his great leadership. He was also the captain of the baseball team. Once he got to the school, he was always amazed and loved the castle theme high school. The school was on its own island and it stood high above sea level. He remembered the first time he saw the castle and was told that it was once ruled over by a dragon queen. The school was then remodeled into a high school. He is a junior now but is still amazed at how beautiful the school is. Satoshi then stood still and looked up. There was a statue of a dragon and it always looked like it was ready to fly away. He loved looking at the dragon and its small crown on its head. His favorite part of the dragon had to be the gems it had on both sides.
  After he stared at the dragon he walked up the stairs to enter the castle. Not too long later, he entered the student council room and turned on the coffee maker. He pulled out a bunch of different muffins, danishes, and fruit. A few minutes after he got everything set up, a young girl with pink hair walked into the room and he offered her food. “The meeting will start in 15 mins. Please help yourself to anything on the table,” he smiled.

  Sokumi was woken up by a flicker of light. It was his foster mother in the room. You’re going to be late again if you don't get up she told him. “I don’t want to go,” he cried to her as he pulled a cover over his face. As he shut his eyes, his mother dropped a bucket of water on him. He lived in a small village, in the countryside and far from the city. The village had no running water but was able to get their water from a well. Sokumi’s family and one other family were the only ones with a farm. They would both raise animals and grow food for the village. This village was like a family and there were no secrets among them.
  Well, there were two secrets that Sokumi was hiding. One was that he was not 18 but actually 400 years old. He had a hoodie that would give him the power of superspeed and immortality. He used it mostly for good and no one in the village knew about it. There was one person that knew about it though, she was the headmaster of a private school called Lunar High. Sokumi hated school and it would cost him. He used to go to a school that was in the next town over but was expelled. Sokumi didn’t like to be tied down in a classroom so he usually ditched school. Well, he ditched so much last year that he got expelled. He didn’t have the courage to tell his new family. With all this free time, he would run around the country finding things to do. One day in the forest he came across a woman that was stuck in her car and it was on fire. The driver of the vehicle had crashed the car against a tree. He started to panic about what to do in this situation. He ran to her and tried to drag her out or force open the door. Once he tried to open the door, it was too hot to open and he backed off. He quickly thought to use his hands and sprung them like a tornado. It acted like a vacuum and sucked in the flames.
  This was the first time that someone saw him use his powers in a while but he had to save her. The lady was very grateful and happy that he was there at the right moment to save her. He explained the situation to her and she smiled. She was the headmaster of Lunar High and offered him a spot but he had to take school seriously. Sokumi was joyful and gladly accepted.
  “Mom, thank you. I’m all wet now,” Sokumi pouts. He hated school but Sokumi has seen many loved ones die in his life. This family took him in and adopted him. So he tried his best to get an education even though his best is not that great. He has been held back and then expelled more than a few times. He got out of bed and threw on his hoodie. As he ran out of the room, his foster mom yelled at him to take breakfast with him, and he grabbed the breakfast burritos on the table. His foster mom didn’t know about him being expelled yet. As he left the vicinity of the village he always liked to take a detour and run on the ocean to an island. On that island, there was an old lady that sold oysters. He had helped her in the past and she would give him a discount on the oysters. They were his favorite. After grabbing a few he headed to school. It was his first day at school and he didn’t want to be late. Once he got to school the school looked familiar. The last time he saw the school it was in pieces. He stared at the newly built school and the dragon on top. It looked amazing. He sat on a bench in front of the school and ate his food while he waited for class to start

  He started to go to school. Kioshi walked on the bridge with his headphones on. The volume was so loud that he didn’t even notice some people saying hello to him. It was rare to see him with his headphones off. Kioshi was heading towards the cafeteria. While heading to get some food his stomach growled. He woke up late today because he sneaked in at the nightclub where his parents work. He wasn’t old enough to enter but he loved being there. It was a place where he was at peace. A smile appeared when he saw the food. They were serving steamed rice, miso soup, and grilled fish. It was one of his favorites. He grabbed a plate and sat down to eat before class. He mostly stayed out of people's way. Kioshi wasn’t really sociable but people liked him. He would always play as the DJ on dances and when he wasn’t doing that he would hack. Hacking was something he loved besides music and energy drinks. Kioshi basically loved off of energy drinks since he barely slept. If he wasn’t working on music or hacking it would be video games all night long.

  Ezume had school in the morning but was working hard on a project that would help him get into the best college for Marine Biology. He has been wanting to be a marine biologist since the day he learned how to swim. He was working hard when he was bothered by his brother Akuryo. Akuryo hasn’t been his brother for very long but their friendship is rockhard. One day, he found him in the alley starving and they decided to take him in. He could see how appreciated Akuryo was because he would always try to help in any way possible. With chores or trying to work. “Just working on that project for college. I’m sorry that I woke you up. I can sleep when I'm dead and yea I know about school.” He continued to work on the project but was distracted by a lame joke by Akuryo. “Hahaha very funny. Yea I’ll make some coffee so I can throw it at your face,” he answered sarcastically. Akuryo knew he didn’t like coffee and would tell that joke so many times when he would make some coffee. Then Akuryo had a great idea for once, “yeah I'm down to watch it but I still need to work on this though.” They watched the movie together and it was great but not really scary. About the time the movie finished was when they had to get ready for work. His mother offered breakfast but was not really hungry and grabbed some M&M to snack on. His mother was the headmaster of Lunar High and she had to take off after breakfast. His mother offered a ride but they chose to walk instead. When they were both ready they headed to school which was not that far from where they lived. It was the first day for Akuryo and his mother was able to get him in. They came across a nice bike when they were walking and the guy on the bike gave them a weird look. They finally got to school and Akuryo’s mouth shot open when he saw the school. He saw the face Akuryo gave and it made him smile. That was the same face he had when he saw the school for the first time. “Hey loser, it's time for class. We don’t want to be late or our mom will kill us.”

  Taimastu opened his eyes to see his Endeavor lump still on from last night. You would never see him sleep in the dark. He got out of bed and exited his room. Taimatsu lived in a two-story house but the downstairs got converted to a restaurant 5 years ago. Taimatsu was starving and wanted some of his mom’s homemade spicy ramen. Right, when he was going to open the door to go downstairs he was interrupted by his father. His father was holding his 7-month-old brother and trying to feed him some food. His father asked him not to go outside without his shoes. Taimatsu ran back into his room and grabbed his socks and shoes. As he ran down the stairs, he tripped on the fourth step down. He looked at his right elbow and had a small cut on it. He quickly covered it up with his shirt and went inside the restaurant “Mom, can I get some spicy ramen I’m starving.” His mother poured him some ramen and then told him to be polite to the lady next to him. He bowed and apologized, “Hello Tanaka-sama, I'm sorry. Please forgive me.” Taimatsu sat down next to the customer and ate his ramen. He chatted with the lady and his mom for a bit. When he finished his food, he said bye to them and went off to school. Once he got to school, he walked along the bridge and was cheery. The school looked so big in his eyes. His eyes went from the pattern on the ground to the dragon but quickly back down to a girl. This girl caught his eye and he has never seen a girl more beautiful than her. Her hair was a light blue but as it went down it turned yellow. He started to walk to her but then a girl bumped into him. He stared at the girl that didn’t even say sorry or acknowledge what she did. “Watch where your go---,” Taimatsu quickly shut up when he saw her grab the arm of that beautiful girl. He waited a few minutes before he continued to enter the school.
