Imogen is a fair skinned girl with an untamable mess of curly blonde hair that runs in her mother's side of the family and her grandfather's light blue eyes. Imogen is very much like her parents in appearance. She has her mother's brow structure and hair color as well as her father's nose. Unlike her parents however, Imogen didn't inherit their tall stature. Measuring only 4 feet 5 inches(1.39m) she sits in the lower side of the height scale for a girl her age. Almost complementing Imogen's petite figure is her slim, bony like body. She's also very hyperactive which has led to various scars and bruises on her knees and arms. Some have faded away with time, but she'll always find another one to replace it. "They're battle scars!" she claims. But aside from her wild like nature, Imogen has very soft features that make her appear younger than her actual age.
She is an odd girl... Imogen isn't really into things that normal girls are such as playing dress up or having tea time with dolls . She isn't in love with the idea of girly and frilly nonsense either. Imogen is an imaginative adventurer who loves sword fights, spending her free time running around outdoors collecting rocks or other items for her collections, dragons and magic. Imogen is independent and hates being told she can't do things because she is a girl. She will not play the role of damsel in distress just because that's what girls do.

Imogen is a naïve girl and will believe most of what she is told. Her immense love for adventure and discovering new things is what often gets Imogen into trouble. But with a little dusting off, Imogen is up and ready to go explore some more. She doesn't mind not being like the other girls because like her Grandpapa Oswald once told her with a raspy old voice and a mustache filled with cookie crumbs, "An original is worth more than a copy."

Imogen's wand is made of yew with a Hungarian Horntail Heartstring core. Imogen's wand is 12 inches long and slightly flexible. Imogen's wand is powerful and capable of very flamboyant spells although it is not very loyal. It can change alliance if the wand is taken from her, but the bond with the other owners will not be the same as the bond she has with it. Her wand is also has a fearsome reputation for dueling and curses and will protect it's owner til the grave.

Imogen's grandfather gave her a baby Tawny Owl for her first year at Hogwarts. Imogen named the owl Dakota. Dakota has orange colored feathers with a bit of white and dark brown, and she has big black eyes. Dakota is a very curious owl and, just like Imogen, lives for adventure. Dakota hates being locked up and will act up if she is inside a cage for too long. This often leads to Imogen leaving her out and Dakota getting lost. Dakota will often get caught in the moment and venture out into the wild. She is very loyal though and has a good memory so she'll return after a couple of days. Dakota's favorite snack is field mice, but she'll occasionally hunt a bunny or two.

Father's Side:[/b] The Gladwynn name, known for it's muggle-hating reputation, had been a pureblood family until Randolph's and Pamelia's Son, Gulliver decided to marry the half-blood mut, Adeline. Gulliver was then disinherited from his family and forced to change surname, but Gulliver refused. He would not let his family intimidate him. Gulliver still carries the Gladwynn name hoping to put an end to the bad reputation his ancestors left for him.

Mother's Side: Adeline was the only witch in the Pierson family aside from her father in her household, making her the black sheep. Unlike her husband's line of purebloods, Adeline's father had ended his pureblood line, by marrying Clarice, a young woman who he had met at work. The Pierson family wasn't really big on bloodline, but they were pretty disappointed about Oswald's decision of marrying into a poor family. Oswald was disinherited and forced to fend for himself. Oswald promised that he would never let his children suffer from poverty so he worked hard and accomplished his goal. When Oswald found out that his daughter Adeline was a witch he was quick to inscribe her into Hogwarts although he didn't expect for her to be put down for being a half-blood. Adeline suffered through her 7 years at Hogwarts and promised herself to never let her children go through that torture of being a half-blood.

Imogen was the second child born in the Gladwyn household. Her older brother Layton was only 3 years older and her younger sister Arabella was three years younger. She was brought up mostly by nannies since both her parents were workaholics that would rather hire maids than ending a shift early. However, Adeline and Gulliver Gladwyn still loved their children very much.

Once Arabella was born, Imogen's mother took time to be able to raise Arabella into the little princess she had failed to raise with Imogen. Imogen took this very harshly, feeling that her mother didn't love her because she wasn't like her younger sister. When Imogen was five years old, she began taking trips to her grandfather's house while the three year old, Arabella, and her mom went shopping. Noticing Imogen's sadness, Grandpapa Oswald would fill Imogen's head with stories about witches, wizards, and a magical place called Hogwarts.

Imogen grew fascinated with the idea of magical places and far away lands, that all of her playtime stories with her brother would revolve around Grandpapa Oswald's stories. However, Grandpapa Oswald had made Imogen promise him that she wouldn't tell her mother about the stories since he knew Adeline wanted to keep her children away from magic. Little did Imogen know that the stories of magic were true and Grandpapa Oswald had lived them himself.

When Layton turned 11 he was taken away to their aunts house across sea. Imogen thought it was their mother's way of punishing her for not being as girly as her sister, but the real reason was that Adeline was hiding Layton from Hogwarts. Adeline had had a bad experience while she was there and the recent events that went on in that school made Adeline question the school's safety. Gulliver, coming from a pureblood family, had different thoughts about Hogwarts. He believed that it was a strong school that had been through many battles and still stayed afloat. He thought it should be up the the kids to decide if they want to go to the school or not, but Adeline wouldn't here of it.

Ever since her brother left. Imogen had resorted to playing by herself since Arabella was always too busy with dolls and playing mommy. That's when the weird stuff started happening. With her brother gone, Imogen started going out to the backyard to play. Great adventures would happen between those fences, adventures that Imogen only thought of as her imagination, but they weren't. Imogen was making stuff happen.

When her adventure took place in tall grasslands, the grass in the backyard would grow up to her knees, or when she was running through a bridge above a large pit of lava, Imogen could feel the ground burning at her feet. She always thought it was just her imagination and that none of the stuff actually happened, but when her mother found Imogen completely dry while she was playing outside in the pouring rain, she knew exactly what was happening. Even though the changes were minor Adeline knew it was the Magic running through Imogen's veins that made her husband have to cut the grass every day.

When Imogen was close to turning 11, her mother already packed her bags so that she could go with her aunt and brother. Imogen had been excited about finally joining her brother again, but her excitement vanished when Imogen found a letter from Hogwarts addressed to her. Imogen was astonished by the fact that all her grandfather had told her was real. Imogen hid the note from her mother and on the next trip to her grandfather's house she showed him the letter. Grandpapa Oswald was thrilled that his granddaughter had been accepted to Hogwarts. "This calls for a celebration!" He yelled grabbing her hand and running up towards the attic.

Imogen was very surprised of being taken to the attic. Her grandfather had always told her it was off limits, but now he seemed delighted to sharing his special place with her. Grandpapa Oswald's attic was just like any other attic, filled with old furniture and dust. Grandpapa Oswald made his way to a rustic old trunk and began rummaging through it until he found what he was looking for. He took out two robes, a small one for Imogen and a large one for him, two hats, and two wooden sticks.

Grandpapa Oswald put on a robe and hat and started swaying his wooden stick around. "Hocus pocus rat's tail and lotus."Imogen immediately jumped on board with a smile on her face, putting on the robe and hat and also waving her stick around. Grandapapa Oswald and Imogen laughed and played pretend wizards until Adeline appeared at the door of the attic. She was outraged at the scene she was seeing. Grandpapa Oswald and Imogen where in the middle of a magical duel each standing at either side of the attic pointing at each other with the wooden sticks. Imogen's mother ripped the robes off of her daughter and left with her furiously muttering about sending her off to her sister's house later that night.

Imogen protested that she wanted to go to Hogwarts and learn to be a wizard like her grandfather, but her mother kept denying the existence of Magic and Hogwarts. Once they were home Imogen was sent to her room while her mother arranged for her to be taken away. Imogen had a different plan though. She would run away, just like Grandpapa Oswald had when his parents didn't like the idea of him being with Grandma Clarice. Imogen grabbed her DC Universe backpack and began stuffing her action figures and cars in it, thinking those would be the only things she would need. Once her bag was full, Imogen opened the door of her room to find her father standing on the other side.

Gulliver and Imogen talked for hours about Hogwarts and Magic hoping that Imogen understood why her mother had hidden the truth from her and the reason why she didn't want Imogen to go. Imogen understood that there had been a really bad guy, and that a really big fight had happened, and that it had been really dangerous, but she didn't understand why her mother was still scared if the bad guy had already been defeated. Gulliver tried to explain that there was still fear of him returning or there still being other bad guys, but Imogen had her heart set on going and didn't care if the bad guy returned.

That night Imogen's parents had a strong discussion about Imogen's future and it was decided that she would go to Hogwarts for a year until they found another school for her to attend. Imogen wasn't all that convinced, but if it meant going to the school her Grandfather had, then she would agree to the plan her parents had made. Imogen was looking forward to going to Hogwarts awaiting the day of departure with great anticipation.

The nostrils of the white stallion rose and dropped as it breathed steadily awaiting for what was coming next. Its glare was menacing and focused on the dark horse in front of it. The dark horse was also deadly still, not wasting it's energy in pointless movements. He would need it. The stage was set. A large dirt-covered field surrounded by colorful banners and a cheering crowd. Who were they cheering for? Well, Imogen of course.

She was sitting proud on top of the white stallion. Solid silver armor covering from head to toe. Her heart was pounding as she tried to calm herself and plan a battle technique. Imogen was the champion Jouster in Fordwych Road. "Don't worry Feather, we've got this." Imogen soothed her horse as she stared down the black figure on the dark horse. Her arch enemy was on top of that horse and today was the day she would take him down. With the blunt lance underneath her arm, Imogen waited for the sound of the gun. Five. Four. Three. Two. Owl. Owl?

Imogen was back in her backyard, staring at an owl sitting on top of the fence that hid the world from her. She let her toy horse stick fall to the ground as she ran towards the owl with amazement. She'd never seen an owl before especially not in the day light. As she closed the distance between her and the nocturnal bird, she noticed a white envelope with a red seal hanging from its beak. Curiosity filled Imogen. That's odd. An owl with a letter? I thought those were doves. The closer she got the slower she walked not wanting to scare it away. "Hey little fellow...don't fly away, okay? What do you have there? " Reaching for the letter in it's beak, the Owl cooed and flew away. "Hey wait! Don't you want to play?" Imogen frowned watching as the owl disappeared into the horizon.

Once it was out of view, her attention returned to the letter which the owl had dropped before it flew away. Her fingers ran through it surprised to see that it was addressed to her. "Imogen Permberly Gladwyn, 3rd Room, Top Bunk Bed. 107 Fordwych Rd, London NW2, UK." Taring the letter open the emblem at the top of the letter made Imogen's eyes widen in excitement. Jitters spread threw her body as she realized the letter was from Hogwarts. Grandpa Oswald's school wrote to me! They want me to go! Imogen was thrilled. Like a child getting a brand new toy, Imogen jumped up and down in joy.

"Imogen!" Her mother's voice snapped Imogen out of her initial delight. She scrunched up her letter and tucked it behind her back trying to hide it from her mother. She knew her mom didn't approve of the wizard stories Grandpa Oswald told her. "Yes mommy?" She put on a bright smile and tried her best not to sound like she was hiding something. "We're going over to Grandpa's house. Grab your coat. Is that...dirt on the..Gulliver!" Imogen's mother disappeared with a worried expression that Imogen didn't understand. As soon as her mother was out of sight, Imogen let out an exaggerated sigh and looked at the letter once more. She smoothed out the wrinkles and folded it neatly to fit her pockets. "I can't wait to tell Grandpa Oswald!" Shoving the letter into her short's pocket, Imogen ran into the house to grab her coat and head over to her grandfather's house.

William is a tall scrawny boy that resembles more of his mother than that of his father. He has very fair skin that almost appears translucent and deep blue eyes. He has short dark brown hair which he dyes the tips of to make it seem lighter. He has a height of four foot five although appears taller because of his ectomorphic body. Although William isn't all skin and bones, he's never been able to build up like other guys. He's not very board muscle wise and tends to slouch a lot.
William is a flamboyant boy who's always in the search for excitement. He has a bright personality and is willing to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger just for the sake of not being bored. He has a funny personality that he loves to show off and is always in the mood for a good joke. Unlike his parents, William isn't big on his family name. He does come off as a spoiled rich boy at times, but honestly who wouldn't turn down money if it was offered? William loves living comfortably, but he doesn't let all the money get to his head...most of the time.

Many people thought William would end up like both his parents. Cold, distant, muggle hating, death eaters, but William was the contrary. He has a warm heart which he presents as his best trade. He isn't quick to judge and believes there is a second side to every story. William is a loyal guy who will stick to a single group of friends his entire life. Although he is very sociable, only a select few are worthy enough for William to call his friends. William isn't very competitive. In fact, he tends to stay out of arguments and competitions. They stress him out and stress leads to wrinkles.

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light.

After the family Birman had kittens when William was only a little boy, he was allowed to pick one of the bunch to keep as a pet. William chose the fuzziest looking of them naming it Waldo. William and Waldo developed a strong connection over the years. Waldo is a white fluffy birman cat with brown paws and tail. He has bright blue eyes and is incredibly fat weighing around 15 lbs (6.8 kg).

Waldo is the laziest cat William has ever seen. If Waldo isn't sleeping he's stuffing himself with his favorite brand of wet cat food. He wont eat the dry kind. Waldo is as spoiled as a cat can get. He has his own hundred dollar monogrammed pet bed and his personal supply of cat food. Waldo is the type of cat to pretend he's asleep so he wont have to chase the mouse. He loves to roll around in his bed and when he's in the mood jump onto William's bed and cuddle with him. Waldo is a sweetie. His weak spot is his left ear. Scratch that and you'll have him purring like a maniac.

Father's Side: The Whickham family is proudly known for their 3 W names. The initials of every born member of the Whickham family are W.W.W. Starting with William's great grandfather. William Walter Whickham. Both of his children's initials are W.W.W. as well as his children's children. It is a proud tradition William Walter created. It is rumored that the Whickham's aided the Dark one, but there is no strong evidence to support it. The only reason why the rumor started was because of the Whickham's strong hatred towards muggles and their long history of being in Slytherine.

Mother's Side: The French family was one of the few prestigious family that had nothing to do with the war. Mr. and Mrs. French didn't want their only daughter, Wilma to affiliate herself with the dark arts. In order to keep her away from everything the French family moved to America and sent Wilma to the witch school over there. When the war was over, the French family returned to London and helped with the reconstruction. The French Family was known for their charitable work throughout the ministry of Magik. Ms. French was even offered a place as head, but he declined saying that too much power would lead to ruining his honorable family name.

William is the first born son of the Whickham household. Along with his younger twin brother and sister Wren and Wendolyn, the trio make up the children of Mr. and Mrs. Whickham. Despite the fact that Mr. Whickham spend all his sweat and tears into raising William as the heir of the Whickham fortune and fame, William wasn't interested in carrying the Whickham family name. William's personality was leaned more towards his mother's side than his father's. Mr. Whickham found William as a disgrace and if he had been allowed would have disowned him. However Mrs. Whickham was very protective of her little boy.

William grew up with the care of his mother and the rejection of his father. When Mr. Whickham noticed that William wasn't fit to carry the family name, he was very persistent on having a boy who would. To Mr. Whickham's surprise, he was able to bring two children to the world. Wren and Wendolyn. Both children took after their father leaving William as the black sheep of the family.

William, along with his brother and sister, attended the best private school money could buy. Wren and Wendolyn were quick to fit in, but William's naive and flamboyant nature, made him an easy target to the bullies in school which consisted of both his siblings plus a few other followers. William grew depressed as the taunting became more and more unbearable. Noticing a change in her son's attitude, Mrs. Whickham took William out of school and began a homeschooling program.

Although homeschooling helped William raise his self esteem again, Mr. Whickham was quick to tear it down. He scolded William for not being like his siblings and bashed his wife for spoiling the little brat. In his words, "William will never become a man if you keep spoon-feeding him every step of the way! He needs to grow some and become a man." William was devastated. All he ever wanted to do was please his father, but, for some reason or another, nothing was ever enough. William would never be like his father.

When William received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts, Mrs. Whickham was thrilled. She hadn't got the chance to attend Hogwarts, but from what her husband and acquaintances would say, it seemed like a dream school. Mr. Whickham was also a bit enthused by this although for the wrong reasons. Mr. Whickham saw William's acceptance as a chance for his first born son to redeem himself. If William was placed in Slytherin, just as his father and great grandfather were, Mr. Whickham was sure the house influence would shape his son.
Special Delivery

His eyes followed the tiny 12 font letters of his fiction book with great intensity. He had been assigned a reading for his home school assignment which he of course set it off to the last minute. William had been too busy doing anything but reading. Now with only half an hour till his next lecture, William skimmed through the boring book hoping that the professor had forgotten about the homework assignment.

"William!" William's eyes shot wide open in fear. It was his father's voice, deep, rough and menacing. The first thought that ran through William's head was He's here...and I'm not finished yet. His shaky high pitched voice squealed back, "Coming Dad! Just a minute" William shuffled his notes and stuffed them into his backpack. There was no need for a backpack since he was only going down stairs to the family study, but something about that object made William feel less like a freak for not being in normal boy school.

He began to hear loud footsteps thumping down on the wooden staircase. Oh no he's coming to get me William rushed through the last few pages of the book, skimming now and not really paying attention to what he was reading. I need to finish...I need to - The door to William's door busted open, but instead of revealing his six foot tall, bulky father, it revealed two tiny ten-year olds, Wren and Wendolyn. "Dad wants you and he doesn't like waiting." The twins spoke in unison, their high-pitched voices making the situation a lot more freakier than it had to be. William gulped, "I'll be there in a moment" The girl, Wendolyn, took a step forward. "NOW!"

William nodded, grabbed his backpack and book and rushed downstairs, terrified of finding his father angry at him taking so long. When he reached the family study room, William was fast in apologizing, "I'm sorry I'm late. I didn't mean to keep you waiting. It wont ever happen again. I pinky promise." Only there was no need to apologize since William's father wasn't paying attention. Taking a moment to understand the scene, William noticed a really old, raggedy looking guy sitting on the couch. Did our dad let a homeless man in? William looked over at his dad for an explanation, but all he saw was one of his rare smiles. William's father approached his son and gave him a tight hug, "Son! I'm glad you made it down stairs. Take a seat."

Seeing his father out of his usual character, was odd. William began to worry that this situation wasn't going to end pretty. With a lump in his throat and an unusual lack of words, William sat down on the couch furthest from the homeless looking person. William cleared his throat and spoke in a soft gentle voice, "Ummm...Dad? Who is this person?" An expression of disbelief mixed with disappointment crossed his father's face. "William! What do you mea-" His father was cut off by the stranger standing up and walking towards William. To his surprise, the homeless looking man wasn't smelly. In fact, his smell had an natural scent to is, almost herbal. The old man reached into his pocket and took out a small white envelop which he gave William. William looked over at his father for permission to take the letter from the stranger. His father responded with a proud, greedy smile, as if his plan had fallen into motion.

William took the envelop from the stranger and tore it open. "Mr. William Wolfe Whickham...That's me!...We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." The stranger started to smile as William's mouth dropped in awe. He looked over at his father with a joyous expression. "Daddy that's your school! I'm gonna go to your school!" William's father said nothing, but his face said it all, he was beyond pleased with himself that his son would be attending Hogwarts. "William" that was the stranger speaking. William shifted his view to the stranger. "I am Calvin Cordozar Broadus. Headmaster of Hogwarts. We would love to have you in our school. What do you say?" William's eyes sparkled with tears of joy. He was trying really hard not to scream or run around, but his attempts where futile. "YES! YES! YES! I do want to go! YES!"

Close cut, spiky brown hair; a color that mixes between his mother's raven hair and his dad's chestnut brown. When trying to make himself presentable he flattens his hair and combs it to the side but otherwise he enjoys spiking it- or just letting it be the way it wishes, not minding a bed head look on a regular basis if he doesn't have time to spike it. His eyes are the same color of all his siblings, except a different shade- all hazel, a mix of his mother's brown eyes and his father's blue eyes. Where as his older sisters have either golden hazel or murky hazel, he and his twin sister have a greener hazel. Gail has a pale tan complexion that burns to begin with in the summer but after that initial burn heals, he tans. He has a very, very light smattering of freckles that shows through in the sunlight, similar to that of his siblings. With an open smile and joyful face Gail is very much a charmer, not of just the ladies but to just everyone- he's just a generally good-natured kid.

As far as style, it really depends on what he's up to. Working on a Ranch means that jeans are required! At least most of the time, and so it's usually clean jeans that he wears when going out in public. He tends to prefer colored shirts with duo-colored stripes as well as shirts with his favorite super hero characters on them. Bright and fun, breathable and something he could easily play around or climb a tree in. Being a boy, he's not allowed to carry around purses or wear much jewelry but he would do it if he could get away with it.

Personality: A Real Charmer

Gail is rather full of life but at times not so full of love as he is full of himself. Still, his pride in himself leads him to charming quite a few others with his confidence (his father and siblings not included). He had a tendency to make friends easily in the elementary school he went to before receiving the letter, and had even befriended the bus driver that drove the school bus to take him home. He's well liked by most, but those who don't like him he has great disdain towards- though outwardly he attempts to win them over.

Gail has a lot of energy for whatever it is he's putting his mind to. Back home it was usually put to building forts out of sticks or trying to fix some landscaping problem, learning welding from his grandfather, helping his uncles work on trucks, or building some new creation from Legos. He doesn't tend to prefer alone time (unless in the middle of a project) and his greatest punishment when younger was being sent to his room- that being said, he doesn't get along well with his siblings and would much rather turn them over to his parents for a crime they didn't commit than he is to make amends and play with them. This has him spending a lot of time at his friend's, doing extra chores, or working on whatever project he is focusing on at the time.

To the people that Gail loves, he is an extremely loyal and dependable ally. To those he does not, he's a silver tongued gentleman who has a knack for getting his way. Gail works hard at making sure he keeps respectable manners, and really loves praise and to be loved by others. It really doesn't ruin his day very much when someone doesn't like him, however, because his Opa always told him "It's the people who matter that you should listen to. And any who don't like you, don't matter."

Gail's wand is made for transfiguration and took forever for him to find when he went wand shopping. He loves his wand fiercely and though he doesn't spend hours polishing it, he does care for it lovingly and goes to great lengths to keep it in it's finest working condition.

Gail was given Tidliwinks as a going away present from his mother and father, hoping that care for an animal might help keep him in line (plus Gail loves animals to a fault). Family History: What's in the Past, Remains in the Past

Though Gail's father's father came from a pure blooded family there has never been much Muggle hatred in his history, unless you trace back a few further generations. Gail's father believes everyone has some muggle hating blood in them, and some muggle blood in them, and he is all fairly neutral on it all- as long as no one is being mistreated in front of him or in his knowledge for something as trivial as bloodlines.

Gail's mother, though born with magical capability, was never really allowed to explore her wizarding side- having been convinced by her parents that it was a waste of time and that they needed her too much around the ranch to let her go gallivanting off in search of magic. Jane had never seen either of them use magic in their daily lives and so believed the pursuit a waste of time. After meeting Gail's father, she regained some interest in the magical arts and she has been... more or less secretly working with him to learn some basic spell work. She works a stay at home job, still near her parents, still working on the ranch, while her husband works a muggle job but also takes up small magical odd jobs when the opening arises.

Biography: Living the American Life

Being born a twin and the youngest of four has always been an impact on Gail's life- not to mention that the three older than him were all girls. Even though he was fast to learn how to walk, fast to learn how to speak, and by far the fastest of the 4 of them to learn potty training he was still trapped in the shadow of his two oldest sisters- the oldest having 8 years on him, the second having 6 and 1/2.

Even so, Gail still had a lot of respect for his two older sisters- often sucking up to them and attempting to charm them over to his side. It never really worked... in fact he often heard from the oldest sister, Kaydin, that she loathed him. That hurt... it actually hurt a lot. He wondered what he had done to cause such a great dislike from his oldest sister... And the second oldest, Ember, always seemed to act like she was Queen of everything. Janie was the only one that was ever beneath him, the only sibling he had that he could use to build himself up. And though Gail never had malicious intent towards Janie, over time their relationship as twins and as siblings became very weak... he knew as much about Janie as he knew about Ember or Kaydin, which is to say very little.

As Gail continued to grow, relationships with his older siblings worsened. Emotional bullying from one side, physical bullying from another side, and a pathetic other half that served no purpose besides being the one to blame for anything having gone wrong (it didn't take long for his parents to catch on that Janie wasn't the only one to blame). Chores became more frequent and he soon had responsibilities to take care of, like keeping the chickens fed and watering the cows. He had to drive the truck every now and then when they went out to feed cows, and quickly learned how to drive the mini, almost child's toy, dump truck to help with these chores.

When he wasn't caught up in chores he was spending time with his hobbies, and either charming or avoiding his siblings. Kaydin spent most of her time locked away in her studies, working on her knowledge of magic or writing or studying subjects that were from muggle school. She didn't often leave her 'cave' as his parents deemed it, and though that bothered his mother and nana no one else really seemed to mind. She wasn't very good at being social. Gail especially didn't mind- even though Kaydin treated him respectfully there was always disdain in her gaze- always a sense of dislike.

His relationship with Ember... well she spent a lot of time sneaking around with her magic, casting small spells against him. Of course his parents caught her now and then and would confiscate her wand. When that happened Ember became a social butterfly and would go hang out with friends or with her cow, Juniper, or outside with the chickens. Janie spent a lot of her time reading, and working through some kind of learning difficulty that Gail didn't really understand... knowledge came naturally to him, as did basic understandings of most things- especially magic.

When Gail turned 9 was when things started to really get better for him. His magic, though it had made a couple appearances in the past, was now really beginning to show. On top of that, the disdain Kaydin had held for him so many years had finally died down to the point where he would often spend time with her as she studied magic. She also confided in him odd things like how she didn't always feel like a 'girl' but that she didn't feel like a 'guy' either. This made just about no sense to Gail, but he listened and patted her shoulder comfortingly anyway. Janie started acting like a proper sister, pulling him out into muggle water fights and to go exploring on the family's property. Ember couldn't pull pranks as effectively on him anymore and so she stopped doing it quite as often... and his parents started treating him more like a grown up and less like a kid. They started asking for help in more serious matters, and teaching him how to fix fences- both with and without magic (depending on whether he was with his father or with his mother). He joined band at school and started practicing baseball, excited for when he came of age to play. On the side his dad started teaching him about quidditch as well and they would often toss the quaffle back and forth to one another. He went through some fights at school and found out who his real friends were....

Year 10 continued to go well. Kaydin was getting ready to move out, having finished a two year program at a muggle college over the last two summer breaks and was still struggling with whether she wanted to go into a Muggle profession or a wizard profession. Ember was buckling down more for Hogwarts as her final years were coming upon her... Janie hadn't shown any signs of magic, though and that had both him and his parents worried- as well as mild, yet distracted concern from Kaydin and Ember. Gail began to count down the days until he, too, could go to Hogwarts school o Witchcraft and Wizardry... practicing wand movements with a stick and playing with the quaffle with his family, who had joined in the practices with he and his dad had started.

Finally, the last month was upon him. So much happened within that seemingly short frame span of time. Kaydin moved out. His Bompa pulled him into learning how to fix more elaborate parts in tractors and cars (possibly a last ditch attempt to keep his grandson out of the magical world). His mother found a job as a photographer and was beginning to make a name for herself. Ember was accepted to a high end muggle college, which shocked the whole family... and Janie... was still being Janie. She had a horse now, named Wish, that she spent a lot of her time with... and she had still shown no signs of magic. And then the letter arrived and Gail was ready to take a first step in the rest of his life.

His eyes opened wide with shock, though there had still been an expectation of this owl's arrival.

"The letter is here! The letter is here!" Gail cried out, snatching it from the owl and running to where his parents were sitting in the living room- his mom practicing a spell to fold laundry and his father reading through one of his newest novels, fascination of whatever was happening in the book glittering in his eyes.

"Well let's see it then." Gail's father said, slightly grudging as he set his book aside but a smile in place none the less. The towel his mother had been focusing on fell back into the pile of clean laundry, her focus turned to him.

"Was there only one?" Jane asked curiously, her expression sharpening slightly.

"Ummmmm...." Gail said slowly, glancing down at the letter in his hand and scratching at his cheek. His sister came in a moment later, the whole 'speak of the devil' thought coming to Gail's mind. Janie's eyes quickly alighted on the letter, her eyebrows rising before her expression fell.

"Maybe it's still on it's way?" Gail suggested softly but he had already expected- his family had already expected that this would happen. Where as Gail had already been having odd and wonderful things occur around him, no such things had happened to his sister.

"I'mma Squib, aren't I?" Janie questioned, her arms crossing across her chest.

The glee in Gail's chest began to die, slowly at first but then it was out like a candle flame. If his sister was a Squib that meant he'd be facing Hogwarts on his own. He wouldn't have his lesser half along with him to make him look better... he'd have to do that all on his own. And he also felt a little bad that Janie was never going to get to understand the wonderful world that is magic.

Gail received a look from his father and he nodded, turning to leave so that his parents could have their 'it's ok to be a Squib' discussion with their daughter. A squib in the family... Gail wondered if he should feel ashamed or not... but in the end he just shrugged. Perhaps it was best he'd have to face the world on his own this time... perhaps his sister had always been holding him back, just as his older sisters had spent so much time casting their shadows over him. It was time for Gail to make his own name in the world- and he would do it. He would show his parents, and everyone else, that he was worth the life he had been given to live.

Erin has thick brown hair, a deeper shade than milk chocolate, that she likes to keep in cute short cuts- something that will stay out of her face when she's outside and running around but that she can style and change when she's dressing up and wanting to look especially adorable. Her eyes are a deep, murky brown that turns into an amber color when sunlight hits it directly. She's not entirely fond of her eye color, but she'll never actually admit to that- if it were up to her she'd have sapphire blue or emerald green or... well bright, gemstone colored eyes. Her nose is straight and neatly sloped, no weird angles... and she has slightly pudgy cheeks that become terribly pinchable when she grins. She is also very often prone to blushing- especially when she makes a mistake but also when she's the center of attention (something she entirely doesn't mind being), when she's angry (like, really really 'I'm going to punch something' mad), and when she's extremely happy.

Erin enjoys going back and forth between clothing she can play around in and it doesn't matter if it gets dirty and clothing that has cute little bows and pink poka dots and... well, in Erin's words 'Cutesy Girly stuff'. Erin loves being cute, but she doesn't like being mistaken for weak because she's cute. She also really hates getting her cute clothes dirty... but when someone is picking on her, sometimes it can't be helped. So, in short- Erin can easily be found in either cargo pants and a tanktop with a beatup jacket or she can be found in blouses and skirts, dresses, and the like.

Erin is rather tall for her age and a bit athletically built, apparently similarly to her mother. Erin has been shown images of her mother at Erin's own age and... she looks like some long lost twin. Erin doesn't weigh very much but she doesn't keep track of exact pounds- those trivial facts are of little importance to her.

Erin's personality can truly be summed up in the three words above. She has energy and a firey passion that can easily get out of hand when she's not careful. She likes being seen as both tough and cute. She doesn't like being looked down upon and isn't afraid to punch someone- especially someone who is either annoying her or being a bully. She is polite, though. She'll warn them first, as well as any adults around. That's what her daddy has always told her, after all: 'Tell the teacher that if the person bothering you doesn't stop, you're going to punch them. If the kid doesn't stop and the teacher does nothing about it, punch them right in the nose."

Erin has had to do that once. Most of the time when a girl is cheerful and confident and outgoing people don't really tend to bully her... then again with all the moving she had to learn those traits because if she didn't she would have been picked on at every school she went to. Starting out rather quiet had lead to immediate bullying... and that's what made her snap. She finally got tired of getting pushed around and her lunch taken and she stood up to that bully but ultimately realized that she needed to stop being a target. So now she isn't. She stands up for the weak, too, and for the strong... and for anyone who just needs someone to be there for them.

Hippogriffs are noble animals with a reputation for not taking a slight. These wands require constant respect, and if the wielder does not give it, they can watch its formerly stable and versatile magic backfire on it. It is not the strongest core, but it is one of the most adaptable. Rowan gives a definite boost to Charms and Transfiguration, but is one of the most willing and reliable all-around wandwoods. It was commonly used for a bow-making wood, and carries this significance into being a good dueling wood.

When Erin discovered she was a wizard and would be going to hogwarts her father spared no expenses in traveling through the world, with a wizard guide of course, and searching through all of the respected wand making shops- wanting only the best for Erin. The end result was a wand that was as fiery, strong, and temperamental as it's owner- one of those immediate connections felt between wand and wizard as soon as Erin picked it up. She is rather fond of her wand and takes every expense to keep it well cared for and respected- she would not appreciate it turning against her.

Animal Companion: Peeker the Burrowing Owl

Along with the wand expedition, Erin's father took her to several different pet shops to find her a good owl. Because she would need to be able to keep in contact with the family- and he had learned that the best way to do that was by owl. Peeker was the first owl that really caught Erin's attention. It watched them as they came in, peeking just over the edge of his birdcage, and then he watched them as they began to depart. It took a little convincing, because Erin's father wanted a big strong barn owl for his daughter, but in the end Erin convinced him that Peeker was the best choice for her. And so the relationship between burrowing owl and burrowing owl owner began.

Magic? Don't tell me you've been listening to Grandpa Charlie again...

Besides nutty old Grandpa Charlie there had never been any odd or magical occurrences in Erin's life. It had always been her and her father traveling the world and occasionally stopping by her Uncle Rufus' house to stay at while her father went on business trips.

In the muggle line of things Eric has come from a long line of wealthy business men... even Grandpa Charlie has a business mind and was rather successful in the muggle world despite his odd abilities and stories.

Anna's side of the family was that of a lower class, more or less stuck in the rut of lower class life. She was the first to try and step out of that rut by becoming a solo musician, learning a range of orchestral instruments and training her voice. Anna became rather good and eventually began to travel the world, soon gaining an agent to help her plan gigs... who just so happened to be Eric, on his way up in the business world. Eric soon dropped his other clients when the contracts ended, focusing solely on Anna's talent. They were really going places, their relationship growing... and they soon fell in love. Neither of them wanted to settle down and Erin was more an accident then a planned happening... but in the end both Eric and Anna were happy to have their daughter, they found her to be a real joy. Eric became a stay-at-home-father that still kept planning Anna's career while Anna continued to rise to the top, going from successful to well known.

That's when disaster struck the Miller family... Anna was diagnosed with cancer after some strange pains began to keep her up at night. Anna tried treatments but it was one of the cases where survival was no longer really an option, the treatments would only extend her life. She soon stopped them, finding life to be too miserable to be worth living with the treatments and passed away when Erin was 5 years old. It was a huge loss for Eric and for the people who loved Anna's music.... donations came spilling in for the family and though Eric picked up an online business job, the money that came in from Anna lovers all over the world, plus Anna's own earnings, had Eric and Erin very set for a long time.

The other deaths in the family:

Erin's Grandparents, except for Grandpa Charlie, have passed away from old age.

Erin's Aunt, Anna's Sister, was in a car accident on the way to her sister's funeral... terribly tragic. Erin didn't know her very well, though- she was more or less estranged from the family. Erin doesn't know why, nor does her father. And Uncle Rufus won't tell.

Biography: Daddy's Little Princess

The first 3 years of Erin's life were wonderful. She was cherished by her father and mother, possibly a little spoiled, but very well loved. She got to watch her mother perform, though she didn't really understand what was going on at the time... Honestly, Erin has many moments in her life she wishes she could remember those first three years.

She vaguely remembers the horrors of the next two years. The sadness that always seemed to envelop the Miller household and the sickness that seemed to surround her mother. When her mother's hair fell out Erin still found her mother beautiful. When it was a particularly bad day for the cancer Erin would fetch her mother a bucket and then sit next to her and tell her stories while her mother heaved the contents of her stomach into the bucket. When things for her mother was coming to a close, Erin and Eric were at her side every moment that they could be.

When Anna passed away, Erin was sad at first... but then her father told her stories about her mother being an angel in heaven and somehow that made it better. To know that Erin had her own guardian angel to watch over her, that her mother was still with her, was terribly important to the growing girl.

As Erin continued to grow older her father became a little more entrenched with Work, often having to leave her places like day cares and other watchful facilities while he took care of whatever business he needed to. It was intensely boring for Erin at first... and then she found the magic of books. It was a kind Day Care person that got Erin started with reading and once Erin showed a real interest, her father helped her along as well. Erin was soon reading everything she could get her hands on, though her favorite tales were of people with magical abilities and dragons.

When Eric fully got into the working life again, he got into contact with Anna's brother Rufus and began leaving Erin to stay with them while Eric did... well whatever Eric does, Erin doesn't really know anymore. She spent weeks at a time at Uncle Rufus' until his house became a second home with her cousins Jenny, Skyla, Timmy, and Aunt Donna. Her cousins were the ones who really started showing her how to be tough, and Aunt Donna kept her well supplied with all the books she could ever ask for. Skyla also liked to read so it was no loss on Aunt Donna's part.

The time Erin spent with her father was a mixture of going to wonderful places like zoos and museums and spending quiet days indoors, reading books to one another or updating each other on some of the things in their lives. Erin was informed that Eric had become a well to do business man, though Erin didn't understand what business Eric was in. He was no longer an agent for people, Erin at least understood that much. Eric's paycheck kept the two really well off. Anna's earnings had been stashed away for Erin's schooling and the donations had lasted them until Eric had picked up on a good, reliable job once more.

Then Erin received her letter from Hogwarts... and her entire world changed.

Life was going pretty well for Erin. She and her father were in the UK, staying in some well to do motel while her father took care of his business. Erin and her father were sitting on the couch, both reading their own books, books of the same series but where as Eric was on the last book of the series, Erin was on the 3rd.

An odd tapping noise on the window caused Erin to look up. The curtains made it so that she couldn't see anything in particular and when the tapping didn't come again, Erin shrugged and tried to re-find where she had been in her book. Rand stood atop- tap tap tap.

Erin sighed as she was pulled from her book again. She would have accused a branch of tapping against the window but there were no trees near the motel that she knew of... and she was pretty sure they'd be too far up anyway. Erin pushed to her feet, her father glancing up at her as she left the couch. Opening the curtains, Erin tilted her head in confusion.

"Daddy... why is there an owl on the window ledge?"

"What?" Eric asked, wondering if he had misheard Erin somehow. He pushed himself to his feet, going to stand next to his daughter. Upon seeing the owl for himself, Eric also tilted his head. Having no better plan, Eric made shooing motions at the owl- wondering what had gotten into the bird.

"What's tied to it's leg? Is it hurt?" Erin asked as she and her father continued to stare at the owl.

"Stand back." Was Eric's only reply and he opened up the window. The owl was looking a bit irritated, as much as an owl can look irritated and it stuck it's leg out towards them proudly. As if to say 'take the gosh darn letter already'. Reaching forward hesitantly, Eric tugged on the string and removed the parcel from the owl's leg. As soon as the letter was removed, the owl was off again.

"What do you think this is?" Eric asked, before handing it off to Erin- to whom it was addressed to.

"I guess we'll find out." Erin replied, tearing the letter open- maybe a bit too enthusiastically. Her eyes skimmed down the page, slowly widening as wonder and shock flowed through her. It never occurred to her not to believe the letter or to consider whether it was true or false... instead she easily summarized the information for her father.

"Daddy. I'm a Wizard!"

Family History: The Sauveterres are a French aristocratic Pure-Blood line dating back for centuries.

Biography: Yvaine was born 1 November. He spent the first couple of years living in Gordes, France, with his father's side of the family being prominent figures. Two years later his sister, Alexandrie, was born, who unfortunately turned out to be a squib. This enraged the de Sauveterre family, to which they blamed the mother, Madeline. His parents decided to move to London soon after to give their children a better life and to gain a better perspective on the muggle world in which their daughter would live. Yvaine and Alexandrie were put into public schools until his inevitable acceptance into Hogwarts.

Upon his 11th Birthday, Yvaine received his letter with a following small celebration. A few of his extended family came to visit in lieu of the momentous occasion, but the air was tense. Yvaine was both excited and sad, for he had made muggle friends in his time at public school. Alexandrie meant a lot to him as well, and it was difficult for the family to break it to her that she would not be able to go to Hogwarts like her big brother.

It was a typical Sunday afternoon for the Sauveterre house hold. Yvaine’s parents napped upon the sofa, their bodies entwined under the red quilted blanket while he and his sister, Alexandrie, played a game of hide-and-seek. It was their favorite time of day to do so, for the challenge of silence was part of the fun. The three story town house made it even more of a challenge, for there were so many ways for sound to travel.

Yvaine was an expert at hide and seek. His bare feet traveled up the second staircase along where the nails met the structure to minimize friction and movement upon the wood. In his mind he counted down the seconds. Alexandrie would be nearing twenty. He didn’t have long until he needed to find his hiding place, and he knew just where to go.

Once on the third floor, he carefully patted along the hardwood floors towards Alexandrie’s bedroom. There was a section above her clothing rack in her closet that would make for an excellent hiding spot. Gingerly, he opened her door, the hinges heavy and threatening to moan. Yvaine was young, and his lanky body served well to slip through small openings, and so he did quickly to enter his sister’s room.

He shut the door just as carefully, his large ears perked to listen for the sounds of Alexandrie searching the town home. He would get no “ready or not, here I come!” It was part of the challenge! Yvaine tip-toed towards the closet and swung the doors open to take a gander at the upper shelf. It had already been filled with more stuff!

There came a flutter up the stairs like heavy fabric rustling in the wind. IT reminded Yvaine of a flag, and he felt his heart race. Thinking quickly, he resorted to closing the closet door and edging himself further into the corner behind her dresses.

“Mom!” Alexandrie called out. He could hear her footsteps rush up the stairs. The fluttering ended with light taps across the hardwood and a chirp. “Dad!”

Yvaine quickly ran from the closet, worried something had happened to Alexandrie. Opening the door swiftly, the boy was met with the expectant doe-eyes of a barn owl, within its small beak a sealed letter. Yvaine stooped down and cautiously plucked the letter from the owl’s hold, and it fluttered away without hesitation.

His mother let out a gasp as the bird flew past and she stopped at the top of the stairs with relief. “Open it, mon petit chouchou,” she said as she leaned against the bannister. Yvaine’s father’s pace slowed as he met his wife at the top and looked on, a sigh of relief escaping him.

Curiously, the boy broke the seal and unfolded the envelope. Contained within was his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first the name did not register, and he read through the letter carefully. As soon as it clicked, a smile beamed across his face, and he looked up at his parents in excitement.

“I think we should celebrate this momentous occasion!” his father said as he hoisted Yvaine upward for a hug.

Appearance: Eyes a mix of storm-grey and alice-blue pierce an ovular face of an alabaster complexion, framed by hair the color of sun-kissed hay. The briefest hints of untarnished pre-pubescent "baby-fat" still clings to his cheeks, lending him a child-like assuage he knows to take advantage of when the situation allows for it. His most attractive characteristic, however, would have to be the smile that is a constant on his lips, a genuine smile that's rarely tarnished by any negativity. He at this time maintains a height of about 54 inches, though his lack of height and lack of muscle (despite this being expected at his age) is quite the sensitive topic for any to delve into. Despite this lack of height however, the self-assured borderline arrogant manner with which Orion holds his chin and the confidence he naturally exudes suggests otherwise. Having often been told often of what a handsome child he is, as well as his thoughts having not matured enough to the extent of his focusing solely on the physical, Orion rarely enjoys any manner of expensive clothing enjoying comfort rather then fanciness. However maintenance of formal appearances to the haughty Pyrrhos family, having always been of the utmost importance have ensured that the boy is very rarely seen donning a garb not to his families approval.
Personality: "Children must be seen, not heard," these are the words that consist of the Pyrrhos family's general mind-set when it comes to the their children. Due to this, Orion's social interactions with adults have consisted of mainly respectful silences, and even if his true feelings towards an individual authority figure may be quite far from positive, etiquette indoctrinated into him from a young age permits him to only be respectful. With those of his age, however, lack of constant interaction has given him a slight social ineptitude he frequently covers up with either an uncomfortable silence or a mask of opulence that often results in the dislike of others being awarded to him. Additionally the arrogance encouraged by his parents given there high economic standing, paired with Orion's being shielded from most of the world's adaptions, given the conservative attitudes of the Pyrrhos family has Orion quite closed off to new things, though he often does attempt to adapt to them - behind his parents backs of course. Being rather quick to judge others in efforts to protect himself from the hurt he's garnered from his families rejection and quick to doubt himself, Orion's loyalty is hard to acquire as his actions in conflict are ruled by logic rather then his acquaintanceship with others. Finding himself on the losing side of a conflict, no matter how trivial the matter would result in Orion's quickly switching sides, no matter how many heart's he may break in the process. When it comes to his friends, however, Orion is less likely to be self-serving in such a situation. Given the fact that he knows so few people that take the time to get to know him past his rough exterior, the few who persist in the matter are the most valuable to him, more valuable to him then even his family. Despite this influx of rather negative traits, Orion does have some redeeming qualities. Given the fact that he's, beneath all of his antagonistic layers, a rather attention-deprived child who loves to receive the pleasure of anyone's company and the pleasure of conversation, anyone who grants him that time would be quite high in his book. As expressed before, Orion does enjoy having all of the attention of a room focused on himself, though he'll often stretch stories details to there limits when granted this attention. Moreover, bearing in mind that Orion has been gifted an optimism that has him persisting in seeing the best in others, despite his initial judgmental views, his dislike is a hard fruit to garner though once it's awarded, his proclivity is hard to once again procure. This stubbornness is also present in those tasks he sets his mind to accomplishing as well as whatever miscellaneous dreams he has set out for himself in the future. Once he sets his mind to accomplishing something he can rarely be veered from that path, as in his opinions of others.

Family History: The Pyrrhos family is a well-known though nonetheless small clan of wealth and political affluence. Out-spoken in their shared disdain for muggles and all of there supporters, the clan clings to conservative beliefs of keeping the blood of the Wizarding world pure, as the consequences of mixing the bloods could result in "a decline in the number of wizards and an increase in the number of squibs". The families feelings towards Voldermort in the past are still unknown, though sources report them as being quite supportive of the Dark Lord's efforts, though not his actions taken to achieving them.

The marriage between 20-year-old Orion the I and 16-year-old Cassiopeia was not one forged because of love. It was one forged through a mutual need to keep the bloods of the two families pure. The two, having no other interactions apart from brief glances and of course the wedding ceremony were not set to have a marriage built on happiness. There conversations were infrequent; neither was particularly interested in getting to know the other. There marriage was accompanied by infrequent cheating scandals neither seemed particularly interested in investigating - that is until Cassiopeia's pregnancy upon her 17th birthday.

Conspiracy involving Cassiopeia's first son, christened Altair, being of Muggle-blood brought ruinous gossip to the families reputation and resulted in a blood test to verify the child's relation to his father. As the test results were never released to the general public, although being reported of being of the positive, the boy's blood is still a matter of dispute. Cassiopeia's interest in her first-born ended within a couple of months of his birth. At first the child was spoilt in a number of ways, though his appearance not being satisfactory to her standards quickly resulted in a nanny being hired.

Orion's affections towards the child were infrequent given his "business" and it seemed desire to keep from his wife as much as possible. Perhaps in efforts to lay rumors arest of the child being illegitimate another son was born, this child christened "Midas" for his golden brown eyes. The boy was a favorite of the family due to his being much stronger then his weaker older brother. His bellows filled the house-hold, broken vases show-casing his strength strewing the floors.

Orion found the boy amusing, if only to see the irritation he brought his mother, who promptly hired a nanny to raise the child upon his first birthday. Cassiopeia's affection for her children was rarely present - if anything she seemed to feel nothing but dislike towards them though loneliness often drove her to seek there companionship.

Her unexpected pregnancy many years later was a matter of joy for her, though her husband thought another son a trivial "waste of time".

Biography: He's the youngest, the most spoilt yet somehow also the most disregarded member of the Pyrrhos household. Due to his two brothers being in there late teens upon his birth, thus being occupied by other tasks then the entertainment of there younger brother, Orion knew nothing short of loneliness in the Pyrrhos house-hold. His mother and the other relatives spoiled him with possessions, though rarely was a kind word extended to the youngster. His young mother seemed to know nothing of expressing love apart from in this materialistic sense, though her attachment to the child was enough of an expression of love for him to live by. However her frequent absences left the child quite lonely, having only the house-elfs his father forbid him from conversing with for company. From these house-elves Orion was unable to communicate with (though that didn't mean they couldn't speak to him) Orion learned the wonders of the outside world in there limited though nonetheless helpful views. Infrequent visits to the rest of the world besides the Pyrrhos manor left Orion with quite limited views of the world and he was left to use his imagination and the scattered views of his mother, the house-elves, and his relatives to piece together a picture of the world. All of this, he hopes, will change with the arrival of this letter.

It was breakfast time in the Pyrrhos house-hold, Light lazily seeped in through the polished glass windows, hitting the candle-lit table upon which the family unit of three sat, there only company being an untouched meal and the occasional house-elf. Conversation was at its peak, the father reading a newspaper, the mother picking at her food in an undoubtedly unsatisfied manner. The son, Orion doing neither of the fore-mentioned tasks. Said boy was just beginning to doze off when an apparating pop accompanied by one of the many Pyrrhos house-elves' arrival sounded in the center of the room, near the area where his father sat reading the mornings news. Popping awake abruptly, Orion stole a guilty glance in his father's direction to verify that the man had not been made aware of his illicit napping before stealing a glance at the elf once again.

"Master Pyrrhos, a letter by owl, sir."

The creature piped up, before dropping it's grey head to floor as it lowered a letter on the glass table before the arm-chair upon which Orion Pyrrhos the I perched, curious gaze fixed on the house-elf. The older man didn't bother uttering a statement of gratefulness as he allowed slender fingers to pluck the letter from where it had been so carefully placed. A brief inspection before the faintest hints of shock begin to pull at the pale of the mans face. His eyes darted towards where his wife sat across from him, annoyance flicking within the murky depths of his dark blue eyes. Orion uneasily peered at his father and mother both, sensing a conflict brewing.

"Cassiopeia,"

His fathers voice started out at a reasonable calm that only made Orion fear the fire that was coming to scorch his mother. The named woman's eyes met her husbands gaze proudly, a faint smirk playing at her lips as she leaned over to flick a strand of dirty blonde hair from her son's forehead, licking a finger and smoothing the loose strand back.

"Yes, dearest husband?"

"What is the meaning of this."

"The meaning of what?"

Her innocent answer only persisted in irritating Orion's father further, said man uttering a low growl of evident frustration. He lifted the letter between a thumb and fore-finger, pushing the scrap of paper across the glass table with enough strength to get the object across the large space. From where he was seated at the tables side, Orion could make out the words "Orion... Maple Street" in the blur of movement the paper made. His mother caught the strip with surprising ease, looking it over with curiosity - then evident pleasure though she covered it up as best as she could with annoyance directed at her husband.

"Are you not proud?"

"Proud!" the man spat the words with a venom that made the tables other two occupants jump with it's intensity. "proud! Proud! I could never be proud of my son achieving entry to a school of muggle lovers. Never!"

At the words "school" Orion's eyes had darted upward to meet his fathers before touching his mothers once again. He'd made it into a school? What school was the question, however. His parents had already received many other letters to pure-blood preparatory schools that had been the item of there dispute the last few weeks of this month, though this argument didn't follow the same route of the others.

"Father I - "

Orion made to speak before a soft hand closed over shoulder, his mother's way of saving him from his fathers wraith. The older Orion didn't seem to register his sons words, his gaze was fixed stubbornly on his wife's.

"I don't see anything wrong with our son attending a school where.. That lot may attend as well. If anything it'll help him to understand how he must interact with them in the future and who his friends must be. A pure-blood school like the ones you suggested is not a horrible idea - just not to the benefits of our son."

At his mother's words Orion relaxed. The winner of this argument was evident already; his father being of limited intelligence when it came to conflicts with his wife could never hope to balk such an argument.

"Well.. Well.."

Said man stuttered out an answer before rolling his eyes skyward.

"I could care less where the boy attends. He's your son, after all."

The words stung and Orion felt the painful pricks of tears touch his eyes with startling clarity. Such a blatant dismissal had been made by his father before, but the frequency of such admissions never lessened the pain. Shutting his eyes to prevent the flow of weak tears, Orion barely registered his mother's words.

"He's our son. And don't you forget it."

Was his mother's simple response as she stood to pull her son to her gently. He felt the cool material of the paper being lowered into his hands, the letter for his unwrapping pleasures at a later time.

"This is the school you'll be attending," was whispered into his ear. "I suggest you read up on it before we go gather your school supplies."

Full Name: Catelyn Anne Lynch.

Age: Eleven.

Year: She's a first year.

Gender: Female.

Blood Type: She's a pure-blood, her mother is a witch and her father is a wizard.

Appearance: Somewhat petite for her age compared to her peers, with a pretty clear and smooth complexion, Cat's elder brother always teases her and told her that she could almost be one of those creepy china dolls because 'she sure as heck looks like one'. Much to her annoyance, she doesn't have any dimples (she thinks they're the best feature somebody can have), although her cheeks permanently seem to be coloured with the same rosy hue.

Cat's eye colour really depends on the lighting; in some cases, her eyes are very blue, sometimes darker, all the way to a more grey-ish colour. She's always been obsessed with glitter, for some reason, and usually wears some on her face. Not extremely noticeable, of course, just some shimmer at the tops of her cheekbones- her mother's been putting it on since she was six. Aside from that, a teensy bit of mascara, and some lip balm, Cat doesn't wear much makeup- her grandfather always goes on about how she's much too young for that sort of thing.

When she was younger, Cat's hair almost brushed her waist. However, shortly after receiving her Hogwarts letter, she decided that she wanted a big change in time for her new school and let her mother cut it so it was just about shoulder length, perhaps a fraction longer. She likes it a lot better now and it's way easier to maintain. It's not uncommon for her to wake up with it in a frizzy mess, though, especially if she forgets to braid it before bed!

Personality: Cat is a reasonably intelligent girl, certainly not top of the class but far from the dumbest. She may be young, but she already knows what she wants to do with her life; ever since she could read, she's been studying the Daily Prophet and other newspapers, scribbling down notes in the book she never leaves her house without, digging and prying. Silver tongued, she knows how to get what she wants, and when she grows up will probably be a devious little manipulator.

Cat can take a joke, sure, but being a very proud young girl, criticisms are often secretly taken to heart and she can come across as over sensitive. With a tendency to bottle stuff up and laugh off insults, it is usually just a simple thing like spelling some ink that sets her off; because it just looks like an over reaction, she's been called over dramatic. Oh, she's definitely a drama queen, though, both because of her passion for acting and her generally theatric personality. She likes to use a lot of hand gestures.

Cat loves a good joke even if they're a bit offensive, and surrounds herself with people who can make her laugh. She's witty, having been brought up with an older brother who shares her love of good humour, and watched many muggle shows growing up such as Mock The Week, developing a love for comedians and risqué comedy.

Although Cat has been known to have her moments of self consciousness, she can be somewhat vain, and finds herself to be quite pretty; no doubt this stems from growing up with a mother obsessed with appearances who was forever complimenting Cat. Sometimes she turns into a real airhead, focuses on little else but fashion and appearances, and she loves to try and act older than she is. Telling her she's mature is the best compliment ever, in her eyes. She can be a flirt, and it can be embarrassing.

Animal Companion: Cat's companion is, well, a cat. He's a kitten, really, nothing special; she adopted him from the animal shelter rather than purchased him from Diagon Alley, and he only has three legs. Leo is far from the usual pedigrees that her family traditionally bring to Hogwarts, but he's perfect in her opinion and is protective of him.

Family History: The family that Catelyn comes from is a close knit one, they spend many holidays together and an owl from each relative every day is not uncommon. Growing up, Cat's parents were often busy with their jobs working for the Ministry, so she was looked after by various relatives, mostly her uncle Damien. Now, he was a strange character, always instructing his family to keep away from certain rooms, and he always seemed to have excuses as to why he couldn't attend an event. Just two years ago, when Cat was nine, Damien was sentenced to spend years in Azkaban for reasons involving dangerous dark magic. It's unknown what the family truly thinks, for it is not unheard of for members of the Lynch family to dabble in the Dark Arts.

Nathaniel never saw his brother be locked away, because he was killed in an accident involving a rogue Hippogriff when working for Ministry; he was supposed to go and take care of it, but something went terribly wrong during the process and he was killed while a colleague was gravely injured.

Biography: Catelyn had a reasonably pleasant childhood if you discount her uncle and her father. She was always playing on the beach with her elder brother, who is currently sixteen; as he attended Hogwarts before she did, he would come home and tell her all about the school and the amazing things he had seen. Trips to Diagon Alley were annual as it was such a long way away; the family would stay in London for a long weekend to see the muggle sites and purchase school supplies. This year, it was finally Cat's turn.

Growing up, Cat was intrigued by journalism and made an idol out of Rita Skeeter and similar reporters, ignoring any bad press concerning them. She dreams of working for the Daily Prophet one day and is forever asking interview style questions and scribbling down notes for future reference.

From the age of four, Cat was involved in musical theatre in a little club run locally; she adored performing, and even though her father was never interested, her mother was always encouraging her to go for it. She's disappointed about Hogwarts' lack of a theatre program, even though she didn't expect one.

"I wish you wouldn't fold the corners over like that, Lu," Catelyn remarked, peering over at the dog-eared pages of the worn out old book that her elder brother was reading. It's dust cover simply read The Hunger Games, but if one were to remove the cover, they'd find a much more peculiar book: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It was rare to find anyone other than members of the Lynch family in this particular little area of the beach as it was so hard to reach and so well hidden, but hey, better to be safe than sorry.

"My books, my problem," Lupus glanced up with a grin, leaning back against the rock he was sat in front of. After a moment, he set the book down, although not before making a show of carefully creasing the corner of the page to hold his place, "Is that the fifth?"

"Sixth," Cat corrected, threading the thin elastic carefully through a hole in a little shell. Scattered around her were five completed shell necklaces, really just shells threaded onto string. It was no great secret that something was on the little blonde's mind, but she was bottling up again, just like their mother.

"Take a break. Something troubling you, Kit?" Lupus cocked his head to the side, tracing patterns in the smooth sand with one finger; it was warm from a summer of sun.

"Just... Oh, Lu, what if my letter doesn't-"

"Cat, honey, you'd better get on up here!" Called their mother, waving her arms from the top of the pathway that led down the dunes to where the two siblings had spent their morning. It was quite a way away, but if Catelyn squinted, she could just about make out a small envelope in her mother's left hand. Immediately, she let out a squeal and leapt to her feet before running through the sand, something that was none too elegant. With a chuckle, Lupus collected the forgotten necklaces and followed her carefully, shoving a hand into his pocket.

"Kit, you've been staring at it for nearly ten minutes, would you open it already?" Lupus coaxed, slumping down in his chair and taking a bite out of an apple.

"I'm doing it, I'm doing it, hang on!" Catelyn snapped, scribbling a little note down in her notepad before picking up the envelope again. It was a light shade of brown, as if it had been stained with a tea bag, the writing was slanted and just looked so beautiful to Cat, though it was far from the neatest she had seen. Delicately, as though one slight jolt of her hand would cause the parchment to burst into flames, the girl tore open the envelope and began to scan the letter, barely containing her excitement.

"Well?" Esme prompted, all smiles; she knew exactly what the letter would say, and knew that Cat did too, but she had been just the same when her own letter had finally arrived.

"It's official, it really is! Can you believe it? I'm going to Hogwarts!" Cat exclaimed joyfully, clutching the letter to her chest, her face lit up.

Traditionally, Catelyn's family are sorted into Slytherin. Her cunning and ambition could definitely see her into the house, but her wit and intelligence could also make her a candidate to be sorted into Ravenclaw. No real preference. c:

Appearance: Meghan has a rather eye-catching appearance. Stunning bright red hair and piercing brown eyes, she immediately grabs attention and she very much likes it. Meghan is fairly tall for her age, standing at five feet and is quite skinny. She is often mistaken for an older girl and takes pride in it. Constantly Meghan is compared to her mother and she really hates this, retorting, 'I am my OWN person, not my mother!' even though they do look incredibly similar, only because they have the same face shape. Most of her features take after her father, including his fluffy red hair and bright brown eyes.

For clothing, Meghan tends to wear whatever is available; she's not very picky, as long as she can move around freely. Despite not really caring, she always ends up looking pretty nice.

Personality: Meghan is a clever and bright girl. She is filled with ideas and would happily talk about them for hours and hours on end if she believes you're interested. Although Meghan is very original and enjoys thinking outside of the box, she likes to get on people's good side, too, and is constantly asking herself if she should be following the rules or having fun. So this leads to many different situations. One moment she can be the most carefree girl in the world, and the other she's weighing all the consequences of her actions. She can get paranoid easily although she tries to just let loose, and hates, hates, hates deadlines with a passion because they scare her to death. Meghan also has claustrophobia, but it's a case of both physical and mental fear of tight spaces.

Despite being a little frantic at times, Meghan is very kind and caring once she gets to know you. I wouldn't go as far to say that she's very loyal, though, because at just eleven years old, Meghan is still figuring out herself and constantly questioning herself. She has a terrible time making decisions and flips a coin all the time, which is why she always carries one in her pocket. Meghan loves animals, especially her rat, Jinx, and sometimes wishes she could own a zoo, just to be with animals all day. The thought of working with magical creatures at Hogwarts excites her incredibly - even though she wants to learn all kinds of magic, magical creatures are definetly on the top of her list.

All in all, Meghan is a kind girl who is still discovering herself but certainly willing to experience new things and to make new friends.

Family History: Ivan Sinhem fell in love with the moment he saw Julia Juniper, and would not let her go. Julia had always been fascinated by muggles, coming from a completely pure-blood family, and in the beginning Julia saw Ivan as more of a test subject then a boyfriend. Slowly, though, he won her over and she introduced him to the world of wizards. He was fascinated, just as much as she had been with him, and they never got bored with each other because there were always new things to discover about each other's kind.

The Juniper family was absolutely horrified that Julia had fell in love with a muggle. They tried to talk her out of it, tried to threaten to disown her, everything to tear her away from Ivan, even sabotaged a date once, but their love never faltered. Eventually, the Juniper family gave up. They loved their little girl, and even though she was with a muggle they could not hate her very long.

Biography: Meghan's parents loved her from the moment they saw her. She was their baby girl and the light of their life. They were actually planning on just one child, but later they realized they were having twins. Meghan was thrilled, her parents not so much, but when her younger siblings were born the two instantly won over her parents just as much as Meghan had.

Early on, Jake and May were trouble makers, and Meghan was their queen. Everything they did was to impress her, and they copied her all the time. When Meghan lost her first tooth, both the twins complained that their teeth were feeling loose too, even though their baby teeth hadn't even finished fully coming in yet. They would jump out from behind doors, pounce on Meghan from out of nowhere just to make her squeal and then smile once she realized it was them.

Their mother would always tell them stories about wizards and witches and magic and creatures and the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. The three children were entranced, they all wanted to be wizards and witches so badly, they would hop around the house pretending to levitate things and cast spells at one another. When Meghan accidentally set the curtains in the living room aflame at the age of 10, the twins were horrified and ran away to their mother. Guess that was it for play-spells.

Even though the twins were still to young to actually be deemed as Squibs, they were totally jealous of Meghan and her abilities, even if she couldn't set the curtains on fire again, as much as she tried. They shunned her and gave her the silent treatment, and Meghan could hear them trying to cast spells in their room when they thought she wasn't around. Meghan slowly became the outcast of the family and she was miserable. The twins were really her only friends, because Meghan could get fairly shy around other people and had a tough time making friends.

Her father was a kindhearted man who worked as a travelling antique merchant. He loved old and dusty things with secrets waiting to be untold, just as much as he loved his wife and children. Because of his work, Meghan's father was often on the road, but whenever he was home, he brought trinkets for the family. From his latest trip, he brought Meghan a book, knowing how much she loved to read. It was a book on magical creatures. This was what sparked her love for the subject and inspired her to go to Hogwarts.

"MOM, MOM!! THERE'S AN OWL IN THE WINDOW!!" Jake screamed. Meghan nearly fell out of her chair at his loud voice. "Jake, please. You're going to break all the windows.." Meghan whined, but then she blinked, his words suddenly registering in her head. "Owl? In the window!" She yelped. Their mother rushed downstairs, eyes alive with excitement for her daughter, "Let it in, let it in!" Their mother cried as she flung open the window and the owl swooped inside, dropped the letter into Meghan's hands, and left the same way it had come in.

Meghan's mouth fell and her eyes stared at the letter in awe. She had been expecting this to come, heck, she had been fantasizing about it.. and here it was! She was thrilled. Ecstatic. But terrified. "Oh, dear! I'm so proud of you!" Meghan found herself enveloped in a tight hug. "Hey! We have to go buy your books! And your wand, and I'll call your father, he's coming home soon anyway.. Jake! Come, congratulate your sister!" Meghan looked up from the letter to see her younger brother glaring at her from the table where he had been doing some math problems. "Congrats, Meg." He said slowly. Julia frowned at her son. "Jake, come on. That's no way to treat your sister. You should be happy for her!" Jake sighed. All happiness or excitement that had been in her heart faded away. She broke away from her mother.

"Where's May, Jake?" Meghan said quietly, clutching the letter tightly in her hand, nearly crumpling it. She hadn't even opened it yet, despite wanting to terribly. "Upstairs." He said bluntly. She nodded. "C'mere, once sec." He raised an eyebrow and followed her up the stairs, to the twins' room.

May sat in her room, coloring. She turned as she heard Jake and Meghan enter, and her gaze went to the letter in Meghan's hand. They all knew what it was from their mother's stories, though Meghan's fists were tightened, almost crumpling the letter. "Stop looking me like that." Meghan said in a sudden stern tone that both the twins had never heard before. "I'm going to Hogwarts, and I know you're going to go soon too, okay? You're just a little bit young, you shouldn't hate me for it!" May's jaw dropped. Then she burst into tears.

"I'm sorry, Meg! I'm sorry, I'm sorry. We were so jealous, and I didn't want to be but Jake said we should be wizards and witches, too!" She cried and ran into her sister's arms. Jake looked down at the floor. "Sorry, Meg." He said. May broke away from Meghan just for a moment to punch Jake in the arm. "Ow! Okay. We'll miss you." Jake mumbled.

Appearance: Dark brown eyes and dark brown hair accompany a round and young face. There usually isn't a moment where Jonas isn't smiling, it's very hard to damper his mood. Jonas doesn't really care for his appearance most of the time, so his hair is an unkempt mess but it still somehow turns out looking okay. Everyone says he looks like his father, which is very true, but his father doesn't care the slightest. In terms of clothing, Jonas will simply throw on whatever is at the top of his drawer.

Personality: Jonas' bright and bubbly personality is something that was never seen before in the Rimmle family, or at least for many generations. The Rimmle family is a strict, by-the-book, and certainly not a bright and happy family. Jonas is somewhat of a disgrace to his father, but he doesn't let him get it down. "Study more. Be serious about things, don't just skip around." He would always say to him. There was always so much pressure on him to be a wizard, and a good wizard, get into Ravenclaw like all past generations and make the family proud. Though his father is terribly worried that he will break the streak.

Despite being so strict with their son, the Rimmle's barely ever spent time with him. Jonas was constantly in care of nannies and babysitters and tutors. Jonas was never very smart or good at anything, he was just an average boy, and they tried to change that in every possible way. More uptight, they wanted him to be. More responsible, they wanted him to be. But he was just always and easy going and carefree guy and no one could change it. He didn't know what he wanted to do with himself but whatever he did he enjoyed the ride.

Family History: The Rimmle family has been completely pure blood for generations upon generations upon generations. They're very snobbish about it and quite disappointed that the only school of magic is filled with muggle blood. Frederick Rimmle is Auror, and comes from a long line of Aurors as well. (This family is all about traditions, ain't it?) A cold hearted man who sets his goals and does not falter from them, Jonas is the exact opposite and they don't get along very well. Frederick is usually busy anyway, and Jonas is always left with caretakers. Alaina Desera Rimmle died of illness when Jonas was very young, so Jonas does not have much memory of her. He wonders if she was just as cruel as her father, because Frederick refuses to speak of her with Jonas.

Biography: Jonas was always a simple kid with simple means; to enjoy life as it went by. Constantly his father tried to toughen him up, show him that priorities were most important and you had to know what you wanted to do. Well.. actually, it was more like preparing for what you knew you had to do, because there was no way that his father would allow him to escape traditions. "What if I get into a house other then Ravenclaw? What if I decide to do something else?" Jonas said. His father looked at him with a fire in his eyes that said 'you get into Ravenclaw or you can forget about me.' But Jonas hopes to be in a different house. He hates his father.

As a young child, Jonas spent most of his time in the outdoors. His father owned a house which a large yard and Jonas would spend his days running around, climbing trees, digging for worms and battling imaginary monsters that wanted to steal his land. Jonas never had very many friends despite his likeable personality. His father kept him sheltered from the world to focus on studying. His greatest companion was the squirrel that lived in his 'homebase' (his favorite tree) and his tutor/caretaker, Miss Willin. Miss Willin was a kind young woman who loved Jonas a lot, and took care of him for many years. She would sit in the yard with him as he played and she would knit or sew, and sometimes she would play with him. But when Jonas was ten Miss Willin was offered a job taking care of someone's son as he traveled around the globe that paid very well, so Miss Willin took the job. Frederick hired a new caretaker, Miss Riss. A cruel old woman with no patience and quite strict.

Jonas knew that his invitation to Hogwarts would come soon, and he would get to escape his father and Miss Riss and discover a whole new world.

Jonas clutched the letter tightly to his chest. An owl had dropped it off just moments ago as he sat in the partially hollow trunk of his favorite tree. It came! He would get to go to Hogwarts. He'd get to become a wizard, he could do whatever he wanted to do. No mean old caretakers, he could meet kids his age, he could make friends, and he would be away from his father.

He climbed out of the tree-trunk and stretched, holding the letter proudly. Then he jumped into the air. "Yes! Finally!" He cried out. The little squirrel that lived in his tree peeked out from the thick branches to stare at Jonas as he danced around happily, whooping and grinning.

"Jonas? What in the world are you yelling about!" Jonas's smile disappeared in a matter of seconds. He immediately straightened his posture and looked alert. The little squirrel scampered away. Jonas's father was back from work, and early, too. Frederick Rimmle marched towards his son, and snatched the letter out of his hands. He scanned the letter.

There was no sign of pride or happiness or surprise as he realized his son was accepted to Hogwarts. "Where is Miss Riss?" He stated, more a command then an answer. "She.. uh.. she fell asleep, father. So I went to play." Frederick sighed as he rubbed his temples in frustration. "And you only just got the letter?" "Yes. An owl came by." Jonas swallowed. What would he say? Of course he was going to Hogwarts, even his father was encouraging it, but he somehow felt that something bad was coming.

Nothing bad did happen, though. "You and Miss Riss will go buy the things you need." He stared at Jonas, then began to head into the house. "Good job, Jonas." Jonas blinked. A compliment? What had happened to his father?

The kids at her school would tell you her most noticeable feature would be her (slightly) crooked teeth. Fern luckily has a clear complexion, despite puberty coming to her a little early. Her sweet round face holds her innocence and her plump lips naturally pink. Her mother does not allow her to wear any makeup until she is 13, but will allow a small amount for special occasions. Fern’s style is still developing, she has say, usually, in what she wears but mostly clothing is purchased by her mother. They both try to keep her stylish, yet age-appropriate.

The Douglas family comes from a line of wizards, while the current family is considered “pure-blood", through the years their blood has been mixed with muggle-borns as well as a muggle here and there. Depending on the company they hold William and Merida will classify themselves as pure-bloods or mixed-bloods, Liam however, has always labeled himself a mix blood.

Abigail is a bright muggle woman born and raised in the USA in North Carolina. While in college she chose to study abroad in England.

Liam met young fiesty Abigail in a local pub, her pursued her and while she insisted on being just friends they began to fall for each other. Not long Liam decided to purpose to Abigail; his parents did not support his decision, but Charlotte, his sister, had grown fond of Abbie. His parents didn't support this because it meant he would have to keep so much of his life a secret until they could have a child and only if that child displayed magic abilities. But, he went against his parents and followed his heart. However they were right, it was very hard for Liam to keep his secret from his new wife, and she always had a feeling he had something to hide. Charlotte always seemed to diffuse the tension that built up between the newlyweds, she was their best friend. A year after their nuptials they discovered they were pregnant. Half way through the pregnancy deviation struck the family, Charlotte, an Aurora, had been killed in the line of duty. Liam could not tell his wife what truly happened to her best friend, and tension struck between the two again; with the baby on the way they stuck it out. McKenna has a bright, amusing face, the charming sort of features one might expect of a happy, carefree child of just over eleven. Her delightfully round cheeks and button nose are heavily splotched with brown freckles that bounce off pale pink skin like paint splashed haphazard across a canvas. Her lips are bright and fuller on the bottom, her eyes, large and round, a pearly slate blue, rimmed in fine brown lashes and thin, light brows. Her hair is cropped to her chin, a reddish brown and terribly straight, almost always adorned with a bow or headband, to hide a shelf of fringe her mother cut just slightly too short. Her teeth are bright white and a just a bit too big for her mouth, but they form a lovely, warm smile - easily her best feature - that comes as sudden and often as a gust of wind. She's rather small for her age, short and a little plump, her arms and legs on the stubby side. Frequently, she's known to trip over her own feet, which are a touch too large for the rest of her (her mother insists, though, that she'll grown into them), generally clad in a pair of shiny black and white saddle shoes. When school robes are not a necessary function, McKenna's wardrobe typically consists handmade dresses or jumpers, cardigan sweaters and anything that appears as if it might have come out of her great grandmother's closet.

As far as eleven year olds go, you'd be hard pressed to find another quite like McKenna Drescher. While her courage and curiosity are often times beholden to one twice her age, it is her uncommon decency, her unmitigated compassion for others, and a travailing sense of fairness which sets McKenna apart. McKenna sees the world in shades of gold, finding light in the darkest of places and people.

Often times, her empathetic nature and willingness to trust too easily can make her quite gullible and naive, but her heart is always in the right place, even if common sense isn't always prevalent. That said, she can also lose focus quite easily, when concerns for others outweighs concentration on the task at hand, and she has a less than sterling habit of often poking her nose where it might not belong. McKenna is outspoken, outgoing and otherwise quite bright and vivacious, and she enjoys nothing more than a challenge, especially one that can be puzzled out through teamwork.

There's not much to say about the Drescher family. With bits of Europe throughout their bloodline, they are made up of stalwart, healthy people - generally confident and competitive, but also quite famously well-liked. All of them muggles, save for a maternal great grandmother, the Wizarding world is more than a bit of a mystery. McKenna's father is an accountant, her mother a nurse and she is the youngest of two siblings, Edward Jr. and Benjamin. A few years back, Edward Jr. married a young woman named Lana, and the pair recently welcomed a baby girl into the world. Benjamin attends university in London.

Having been a bit of a surprise already - there being nearly ten years between her and Benjamin - McKenna is nevertheless the life of the Drescher family and while it was initially difficult to comprehend just what 'being a witch' entailed, the family was supportive of McKenna's acceptance into Hogwarts.

Born on a warm spring morning, McKenna was said to be the happiest baby that her doctor had ever delivered. Of course, her doctor said this about every baby he delivered, but for Amanda Drescher, it was completely true. McKenna was a blessing from the womb with a pleasant disposition that as she grew, grew with her. Raised in a warm, loving environment, that disposition was nourished and thrived and McKenna blossomed into a charming young lady. For half an hour, McKenna had listened as her mother frantically recounted the events of their very strange morning, indeed. For starters, post never came so early. Amanda Drescher was a small woman, a petite blonde wisp, about whom everything was thin... but somehow incalculably lovely. She was also a woman possessed by a need for order and consistency. So when the letter slipped through the mail box at approximately 8:43 in the morning, four hours before post was due to arrive, it was no small ordeal. The fact that the letter had come via owl, instead of postman had been nearly intolerable. In fact, it had taken McKenna's mother so completely by surprise she had almost missed just what the envelope read. The fact that it was address to McKenna was not so unusual, as she had frequently communicated with a penpal as part of her Brownie group's cultural enrichment program. What was unusual was that it was directly addressed to McKenna's bedroom. Never having seen such a strange addressing of an envelope, she immediately took to the internet, but found no comprehensible explanation. Doing then, what any good mother might, she opened the letter.

It was then that things got really strange. Without a word, Amanda had walked into the kitchen, set the letter on the counter and plucked up the phone, dialing her husband at his job in Downtown London - number she almost never called, except in the greatest of emergencies (or in the event that they should be out of tea). Their conversation that followed made very little sense to an eleven year old's ears, and McKenna was left wondering what she had done. More importantly, she was left wondering how bad her punishment for it might be. She had, of course, never suspected that the letter might, in fact, be good news. Or at least not bad news.

When her father arrived home that evening, slightly earlier than usual himself, he and Amanda brought McKenna into their living room and sat her down on the purple tweed sofa she had come to know as the sofa where all important and serious conversations took place. It was an uncomfortable, boxy thing - something that Edward had inherited from his mother. There, McKenna learned all about Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - or at least as much as the letter told her. Which was really all that much at all.

According to this letter, which both of her parents had come to the eventual conclusion was not, in fact, a hoax, McKenna was a witch. Not only this, but she had been selected to attend her first year at a prestigious school, to learn, of all things, how to hone her magical abilities. Naturally, to a girl who had grown up as ordinarily as possible, this news came as quite a shock, but after assuring her that being a witch didn't meant quite the same thing as they might have imagined (and that she was perfectly safe to take a bath without fear of being melted) McKenna was given the letter to read for herself.

It was all, truthfully, a bit much for an eleven year old to take in - even a bright, well educated one. But it was also impossibly exciting.

Glancing up to see her parents watching her in a way that McKenna was sure meant they were expecting her to come to a conclusion she probably was not very qualified to make, her mouth spread in a bright, uneven smile and her shoulders rose and fell in a quick, effortless shrug, "If it's awful, I can always come home..."

And with those terribly simple words, a decision was made.

Appearance: Rose has a slightly round face and a prominent jaw. Though her eyes are hazel, they often seem darker from a distance or in poor lighting. This makes her eyes seem a bit confounding to those who peer into them, though they are delightfully surprised to discover their lighter color. Her dark brown hair is made up of natural curls to the middle of her back, which can be hard to maintain at times. When she does not wear her hair down, it is often in a bun or a single fishtail braid. She is slim and of average height for her age. In addition, she has a pale complexion and dark, thick, and arched eyebrows. Her body is still developing, meaning Rose does not have curves, though she is on the cusp of puberty.

As far as clothing, Rose tries her best to stick to the school uniform, even if she considers it a daft. At other times, the brunette tends to wear clothes that reflect her mood of the day. When bright and sunny, she is well put together, wearing comfortable Muggle jeans and a plain Muggle T-shirt. When irate, her look becomes sloppy, as her mind is fixated on an emotion, rather than fashion. She is drawn to darker colors and the occasional pastel that compliments her pale skin. Accessories are not a priority to Rose, given that her adventurous and love for flying would simply destroy these treasures. She can be coaxed into wearing a sundress for formal occasions, if given proper incentive. On cold days, Rose often wears a scarf to protect herself from the harsh elements.

Personality: Rosemary can be unruly at times, as she is always up for an adventure and pulling pranks occasionally. Though somewhat intelligent, she chooses to use her charm to her advantage instead, wanting to convince others to see her ways. Her baby face is often what attracts others, something she has come to realize over time. Despite her cunning ways, Rose has a very loyal heart, always choosing to stick her neck out for a friend. One thing she often thinks is that she would never leave a friend behind in the dust. Friendship is one of her most treasured relationships, and she makes it a personal goal to make friends and maintain these friendships.

A Half-Blood, Rose is not afraid to defend herself against blood supremacy, as her mother is a Muggle-Born witch. Passionate on this issue and others, she tries her best to defend her points, though largely unsuccessful considering her tender age. When angry, she can be hot-heated, often making impetuous decisions and facing the consequences afterwards. Rose can be loud and boisterous, voicing her opinion rather than choosing to be quiet. She can be talkative when watching Muggle movies, something her mother introduced their family to many years beforehand. The only time she remains quiet is when a friend is in trouble, as she sugarcoats a situation to make them feel better, rather than letting on the truth. Similarly, she will also lie to save her own skin at times.

Seemingly confident, Rosemary can also be very vulnerable. Being the middle child is not easy, as Brandon is often praised for being the eldest, and Damian is adored, as the youngest sibling. Though she is the only female child, she feels that she does not live up to her older brother, whom is a Gryffindor Prefect. At the same time, she can no longer call herself the youngest and cutest, given Damian holds both these titles. Feeling forgotten at times, she chooses to act out to make herself visible. She finds pleasure in making mischief, considering it brings her both positive and negative attention. Though a majority of her antics are for the thrill, others are a way to make herself known.

Wand: Rosemary’s wand is made of ash with a Unicorn Hair core. Her wand is 10 3/4 inches long is slightly flexible. It has a mind of its own, much like its owner. Similar to its possessor, her wand is pretty loyal, even if taken by another witch or wizard. Her wand was made for hexing and charms, both inside the classroom and outside in the corridors. After getting her wand at Ollivander’s, Rose put much of her faith and trust into the ash stick. Though only a first year, she believes her wand can help her out of many situations.

Animal Companion: Her companion is an owl named Hera. She was gifted the lovely bird by her parents for her eighth birthday, figuring it would be appropriate, as Brandon had his own. She grew to love the owl instantly, simply watching her in her cage, when Rose did not have something to do to fulfill her time.

Family History: Alistair Davenport and Sidra Henderson met when Alistair was injured during an Auror mission. Hit with a severe hex, he was taken to St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries for treatment. There, the young Sidra was assigned to his case, as she was shadowing the doctor who treated him, as part of her Healer training. During her rounds, she tended to him daily, in addition to other patients her Healer was responsible for. Their conversations were strictly professional as first, as they often spoke of medicine and dark spells. Over time, however, their discussions became more personal, chatting about their time at Hogwarts and other interests they had. With these talks, their lives began to slowly intertwine, as they became mutually interested in each other.

After Alistair was released from St. Mungo’s, the two remained in contact, often meeting for lunch at the hospital, the Ministry of Magic, or in Muggle London. After courting for three years, Alistair and Sidra married in October, having a fall wedding enjoyed by everyone in attendance. The Davenport couple was blessed with their first child, Brandon, within ten months of their marriage. Four years later, Rosemary Willow was born on January 31st, adding to their growing family. Within two years, their youngest, Damian, was born, rounding off the family at five.

Biography: Rose was born on one of the coldest January days in Barnet, England that year. The second child to Alistair and Sidra Davenport, the couple was thrilled to be blessed with a little girl. They decided to name her Rosemary, a tribute to Alistair’s late mother whom had passed away during Sidra’s second pregnancy. Rose’s elder brother was sour at her birth, considering the four-year-old wanted a brother instead. Despite his attitude and reluctance to play with the younger girl, he learned to put up with his sister despite her questions about everything.

After Rose was born, her mother began working less at St. Mungo’s, spending more time with her children. There were often emergencies at the hospital, where she ended up leaving the children in the care of Alistair’s father, James Davenport. Alistair continued his work at the Auror Department, though he spent less time in the field and more time behind a desk in the Ministry of Magic. Now married with two children, the Auror realized that staying alive was vital to supporting them, rather than putting himself in constant danger. He missed the thrill of chasing dark wizards, though his family always came first. He relished the opportunity to spend more time with his young children.

Rose could not remember the birth of her younger brother, Damian, given that she was only two years old at the time. In her earliest memories, he was always present, pulling on her hair and crying to express his needs. Once her younger brother learned to speak fluently, Rose became the subject of much teasing between her siblings. With the help of Granddad James, Rose learned to survive their gender torments with a sharp tongue and blunt responses. Her remarks often reminded the older gentlemen of his own wife, Rose’s namesake, as Brandon and Damian often backed down in response. Despite the disagreements Rose had with her brothers, the unruly girl was utterly fond of them, never wanting to trade them for anything in the world.

By her seventh birthday, her parents thought it wise not to send her to a Muggle primary school. It would have raised too many questions, considering she displayed her first sign of magic at age six. This occurred when she magically turned her hair blond without the use of a wand or Muggle dye. Her father found the situation to be amusing, as he was proud of his Rose for inheriting magical abilities from her parents. Fortunately, Sidra was able to use a few charms to change her hair back to normal. With this ordeal, the Davenport couple decided it would be hard to explain strange phenomenon to Muggle teachers and classmates. Unlike Brandon, who displayed magic sparsely as a child, Rose never got the chance to attend a Muggle primary school.

Sibling rivalry was always prevalent in the Davenport home. When the children were young, arguments ensured over whom had their parents’ attention the most. After Alistair taught each one to ride a broomstick, it was over who was the best rider. Introduced to the sport of Quidditch, the siblings often debated over teams in British and Irish Quidditch League. Whenever one got a better gift from their grandparents, they often paraded it around the house to great lengths for the other two to see. These little games continued for years, much to their mother’s chagrin. She pondered why her children could not get along, but the children saw the competition as a fun game.

Though Rose loved her brothers, she was envious when Brandon received his Hogwarts letter. She had heard stories of the magical castle from other wizarding families they knew, often thinking it would be a brilliant place to go. When her brother boarded the Hogwarts Express at Platform Nine and Three Quarters, she begged him to pack her away in his trunk when no one was watching. He simply scoffed at this comment, telling her that she would be able to come along in four years. This left Rose upset, as she wanted to attend the magical institution. Like with most things, the brunette was jealous her brother got to experience it first.

When Brandon came home for the winter holiday, Rose often pestered him Hogwarts. She wanted to know about the corridors, the Whomping Willow, the food, and everything else the castle had. When her brother grew tired of the questions, she asked her grandfather, who was always eager to share stories from when he attended the institution. While Brandon wrote letters to his Hogwarts friends, Rose spent more time with Damian, submitting herself to the childish games he played. Instead of fantasizing about learning spells and charms that her grandfather described, the brunette spent much of her time keeping her brother from swallowing dirt in the front lawn.

Four years later, her misfortunate ended when she received her own acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A bit older and wiser, Rose had grown up from her pestering days, only excited to experience the joy Brandon did each time Hogwarts came up in conversation.

An hour away from London by car, there was a grand house in the countryside of Barnet, England. The humble abode was built quite far away from the road, as its inhabitants were quite peculiar to their other neighbors. Shrouded by large trees and two acres of land, the Davenport house was quaint in nature and well hidden by design. It was the home to five people with magical abilities, an unknown detail to all of their Muggle neighbors. The sun had risen some time ago, bringing with it a ray of orange and yellow colors, as well as warmth that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. Though the scene around the home could only be described as tranquil, the same could not be said about the conversation at the breakfast table within.

“Oi, you took the last biscuit on purpose!” Rosemary exclaimed, her hazel eyes trained on the older boy across from her. The eleven-year-old stubbornly crossed her arms, huffing as Brandon slowly ate the biscuit she had been eyeing for the last ten minutes.

“I didn’t know you wanted it.” He commented back simply, a sly smile on his face, as he continued to enjoy the fluffy treat. Next to him, Damian Davenport sat quietly, though the nine-year-old boy was quite entertained by the nearing argument.

“Your liar! You know I wanted that one!” Rose continued, reaching across the table to take it moments later. This resulted in her brother only holding it out of her reach with a laugh.

Sidra Davenport sat quietly and sighed, knowing it was up to her to squash this disagreement before it even started. At times, her husband would take care of it, however, he had left early for work that summer morning. “Brandon...Rosemary.” She started, looking toward the two in question. Upon hearing her full name, Rose winced and exhaled a melodramatic sigh, sinking down in her chair and waiting for a lecture from her mother.

The impending reprimand from their mother was interrupted by a piercing screech. The four Davenports present turned their heads toward the kitchen window, only to see an unfamiliar barn owl approaching. As the animal flew closer, Sidra Davenport stood, glancing toward her children once more, as if to tell them to behave. She moved toward the window, opening it for the owl to land, drop the mail on the counter, and treat himself to the food often kept on the windowsill. Within the pile the owl brought, two letters stood out, both of yellow parchment with elegant green letters on the front. Upon seeing one more letter than usual, Rose’s heart skipped a beat, as she wondered if the day she had been waiting five years for had finally arrived. She intentionally stood from her seat, rushing toward the mail, despite her mother’s protests to finish her meal.

“I’ll finish later, mum.” She called over her shoulder, separating the two letters from the rest of the mail and throwing Brandon another murderous look. One was addressed to him, as he had been receiving similar letters for five years now. With excited hands, she looked toward the other letter, her eyes widening when she saw the printed words:

To: Miss R. Davenport

Rose did not even bother reading the rest, as she was certain that it was for her. She carefully opened the letter, breaking the waxed Hogwarts seal on the back. With painfully slow hands, the brunette cautiously removed the parchments inside, afraid to damage anything, before she got the chance to read it over. It seemed like the world had stopped, as she blocked out the noise of Damian wondering what she had gotten and Brandon opening his own letter. Her mother stood near the kitchen corner, watching her daughter with bright eyes and a pleased smile. Rose shared a smile with her mother before her hazel eyes went to the paper once more.

Dear Miss Davenport,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

After reading those words, Rose held the letter high above her head, waving it back and forth for her family to see. “I’m in! I’m in!” She boasted loudly with a bright smile, dancing around the kitchen table with the letter in hand. Congratulations were in order immediately, as her mother hugged her immensely and muttered how she could not wait to share the news with the family. In the background, Damian protested over the fact that he would not be able to attend for another two years.

As Rose continued to celebrate, however, Brandon drew everyone’s attention to the parchment on the table in front of him. On top of it laid a shiny Prefect badge, along with an additional letter to congratulate him on the position. Upon seeing the badge, Rose stopped celebrating, as the spotlight was no longer on her. She sighed softly, as their mother commended their brother instead, moving to her seat and reading her attached booklist.

“I guess you won’t be able to spend as much time snogging that Ravenclaw girl you’re always writing to.” Rose commented offhand with a teasing tone, continuing to read the parchments in front of her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Brandon turn red, and she turned to rub his shoulder with a warm smile. Yes, she enjoyed picking on her brother but that could not hide how tremendously proud she was of him.

I believe Rose would be best fit for GRYFFINDOR or SLYTHERIN.

Full Name: Shana McMahon (though her siblings like to call her Rosy to her dismay)

Appearance: With her masses of curly brown hair, large eyes the colour of hazelnuts and small button nose, she is quite the adorable looking little girl. Shana tends to blush easily giving her cheeks a permanently rosy undertone that her many siblings like to tease her for. She is tall for her age with a rather spindly frame and long limbs that almost seem out of place with her rounded facial features. Her hair is incredibly thick so that it appears to be too much for her small face and is prone to tangle when left to its own devices. She is usually seen with two braided pigtails to keep it in order. Though she is tall, she is not a very large presence in a room, and is usually fairly easily overlooked.

Shana dresses more for function than style, and since she has so many older siblings, a lot of her clothes are hand-me downs. Denim jeans and long sleeved tops along with sensible trainers are her usual attire, though this does not necessarily make her style 'tomboyish'. She likes to wear colours such as purple, magenta and turquoise, and has a liking for pretty patterns or things with Disney Princesses printed on them.

Personality: Being one of eight children tends to do one of two things: either a person acts over exuberant to get noticed amongst the sea of characters, or they simply decide it is best to fade into the background. For Shana the latter was true. With four older siblings, all rather outgoing, it was hard for her to form a firm identity amongst them. This lead to her being a more sensitive, introspective person with a love of being alone and having privacy. She is not one for large group situations and if given a choice between hanging around with her boisterous elder siblings or her less exuberant younger siblings, she would always choose the latter.

Shana is a creative person with a love of the written word. She would happily spend hours lost in the world of Arthurian legend or writing stories of her own concerning magic and the unexplained. She seems rather odd to her more pragmatic siblings, but she is by far the favourite amongst the more like-minded brothers, sisters and her father. When in her comfort zone she is relatively chatty and vibrant. One may not be able to get her to stop talking! Around unfamiliar people, she is very easily flustered and socially awkward. She will take everything literally and personally until she gets to know them.

She is a helpful sort of person and nurturing. Shana will always stand up for the wronged and is a surprisingly fierce adversary to bullies. It is, however, hard to get a rise out of her because she likes to feel like the better person. Shana's biggest flaw is probably her inability to let things go. If she feels something is important, she will not back down, hinting at her hidden tenacity. To most, however she is seen as a quiet, obedient little girl and not much else. She doesn't mind this, because she doesn't really know where she fits in the world, especially given that she was adopted into the McMahon family and is the only magical sibling.

Family History:

Biological Parents: Shana's father was from a working class muggle background. He was only 21 when she was born and knew he had to give her up if he wanted to do better for himself. He had been attending the elite Oxford university on scholarship at the time, where he had met Shana's mother and was studying to become a lawyer. Shana and her twin brother had been an accident really, though he was rather guilty for giving up the twins.

Shana's mother was from a well-to do middle class muggle family. Her father owned a successful chain of toy stores. She met Shana's father in her second year at Oxford and the pair fell madly in love. The twins had not been planned and though she did want to eventually have children with Joseph, she knew it was best for the twins if they were put up for adoption in deserving, loving homes.

Biography: Shana was the first child to be adopted into the McMahon family. Her elder siblings were all biological. Life was rather chaotic in a family as large as the McMahon family and growing up it was very easy to get lost in that chaos. Shana's adoptive parents were both squibs; her father Langdon from a wealthy and well known pureblood family (his mother Josephine was head of the Department of Magical Transport at the Ministry of Magic for many years) and her adoptive mother Maureen from a simple half-blood family with Welsh origins.

Though she grew up happily in a large cottage in Warwickshire, the county known for being 'Shakespeare Country', Shana was always different to her other siblings. Apart from being the first child to be adopted after Maureen could no longer give birth, Shana was also the only one with odd powers. She did not discover her talent for magic until around nine years old. Before that she had always been drawn to any muggle stories involving magic.

Langdon and Maureen had suspected her of possessing magic, but since they had not expected to adopt a wizarding child it was not discussed. That is until Shana began doing odd things like changing her hair colour at will or even a beak for that matter. They realised that she was a metamorphmagus. This meant that she would need to be homeschooled in case she accidentally changed her appearance in front of the staff and students. She spent the last two years of her primary school days being homeschooled.

All of Shana's siblings were aware of the wizarding world and some like her older brother Hayden and younger sister Hannah are rather envious of her magical abilities. She is not very good at keeping her metamorphing tendencies in check as it tends to happen only in emotionally charged situations. Now she is ecstatic to receive her invitation to Hogwarts, and suspects her younger brother Krish may be joining her there in two years time.

Appearance Standing at merely 4'5 (1.40 m) and weighing no more than 66 lbs (30 kg), Jasper is a rather small, frail boy in comparison to his peers. He is of a thin body structure, which makes him appear weak and breakable, bent even by the slightest gust of wind. His head is disproportionate to the rest of his body, being rather large and bearing exaggerated features - button nose, big ears, round eyes, etc. His outlook, however, is predominantly a result of genetics, and his parents hope for him to grow out of it, though one thing is for sure - he will probably never lose the yellowish sickly tone of his pale skin, or the fact that it is easily bruised by even the smallest things, or that his light dirty brown hair will always be a mess, since those are all a result from the boy's lifestyle.

He is simply not one to enjoy the sun or clean air too much, preferring to spend more time shut away in his room, digging through his favorite dusty old books while he overlooks to turn on the lamp, which is why Jasper's eyesight is quite bad for his age and only getting progressively worse seeing as he often forgets to put on his reading glasses as well, unfortunately, and misplaces them all the time, which results in them breaking in some bizarre accident or another and him having to switch pairs every two months or so. They are not the only thing he isn't careful with, since the boy possesses a rather soft shock of fluffy hair that unfortunately goes uncombed on most days. The same goes for his attire of choice, since Jasper is not too caught up on looking presentable (to his parents' dismay). The boy favors old-fashioned articles and has a particular soft-spot for newsboy caps, slipper shoes, plain shirts and knitwear. Possibly due to his personal likings, the school uniform is something he gladly accepts, albeit struggles to keep in order.
Personality Jesse is a rather odd child, more shut off than others his age. Surprisingly, this is not a result of the boy growing up in a pure-blood household where usually discipline and great expectations are the ruling factors, seeing as his parents are actually quite the lax couple. As a matter of fact, this is just part of the boy's individual character - he has always been on the more mature side, seemingly growing up at a faster rate than his peers (despite this not applying to his appearance, which is actually falling behind...). He is a very understanding, level-headed child, able to comprehend most things off the bat and learn fast from experience or usually simply observing a certain thing and memorizing it. When this method does not work, however, another side of Jesse shows through, which is that of a hard worker. He has always been taught that doing anything involves 1% talent and 99% effort, so the boy lives up to this dogma, being someone to set a goal for himself and then work day and night to reach it. You could call him determined and ambitious, and you would be right. Unfortunately, in his strive upwards he usually ends up ignoring and sometimes even manipulating those around him, resorting to any cheap tricks to have his plans work out. It's sad to conclude that the boy has little to no friendship values due to growing up lacking contact with other children, making Jasper come off as a self-centered emotionless egoist.

Truly, Jasper can be cold most of the time, though this is not always out of unfriendliness. He is simply quite detached at certain moments, caught in a daydream. Basically, despite being mature beyond his years, Jas still possesses the imagination and curiosity of a child, with these traits even magnified, possibly because of him not being able to be a proper child during, well, his childhood. His thirst for knowing usually manifests itself through him constantly indulging in obscure literature, collecting random intriguing objects (he has a feathers, pens, chocolate frog cards and (of course) books collections) or defying the authority of adults. Fortunately, he is not flamboyant in his actions, or he would be an utter nightmare to handle, seeing as with his friendship values his family ones have gone as well, leaving him with no respect for grown-ups. The most he does is always hold and opinion opposing theirs and then firmly standing behind his words. Jesse can indeed be rather stubborn and proud.

He is also a walking contradiction since, if someone somehow manages to get access into his personal space (which is a rare occurrence), they will see a very different side to the child - one in which he is not set on achieving his goals no matter what and simply wants to be happy, one in which he seeks adventure beyond the pages of his books. And, in such a scenario, they will realize that the manipulative Jesse can easily be manipulated himself, especially when the topic of doing something potentially dangerous pops up. Once you have gained his trust, it's ridiculously simple to coax him into any sort of grand, ludicrous idea. In general, Jesse is a grown man stuck inside the body of a young boy, yet somewhere deep inside there is a child that has not gotten to live. You just have to search for it...

Wand Jasper's wand is one of a very fine, elegant appearance, lacking in detail, yet beautiful nonetheless with its subtleness. It's an object that he treasures and takes care for daily (it's the only thing he does tend to...), being careful to polish it to perfection. After all, it is somewhat an extension of his person, and due to this shares many similarities with its owner.

It's carved from hawthorn wood, which by nature makes for a very strange, contradictory wand full of paradoxes. It's most suitable for a wizard with a complex, fluid character or, alternatively, passing through a period of change. In a similar manner to their bearers, hawthorn wands are difficult to comprehend and master, possessing one very intriguing quality - their spells backfire when badly handled. Thus, one must approach this object carefully and with a clear mind. Furthermore, if one expects for it to be flamboyant and capable of grandeur, then they will be disappointed - it is most well-versed in the artistry of curses and elusive magic, yet do not mistake this for a lack of power. In the hands of someone willing to practice, it is capable of greatness.

Additionally, the core of the wand is of unicorn hair, meaning that this object is quite the loyal one. It is firm when choosing it's owner and sticks to this sole individual till the end. As a result, if it changes hands somehow, it will begin to misbehave and possibly lose a part of it's potential, going into something akin to melancholy. However, the usual stubbornness that comes with this core is overwhelmed by not only it's wood but additionally sturdiness. The wand is of a fairly supple nature, meaning that it is prone to change and possesses great adaptability. Animal Companion Mr Jenkins, also known as Sir John, is a 15 year-old Himalayan-Persian cat that has been an integral part of the Ezra family for years, which shows by the fact that he is definitely one old, huge beast or, more suitably, a rather large sentient ball of fur, since he is the fluffiest thing ever. He also possesses a flat face only a mother could love and is the laziest, grumpiest thing - the stereotypical snobbish and pampered pet of any pure-blood family. The one guilty for his current temperament is Jasper's paternal grandpa, who acted as if he loved Mr Jenkins more than anything in the world and as a result spoiled the cat to not end, indulging it into obesity.

Nowadays, Sir John is the ruler of the Ezra household, meaning that he does whatever whenever he pleases (just like his previous owner...) and no one can do a thing. Fortunately, he sleeps most of the time, though he does this in unfavorable places or in the lap of one of the other residents, who dare not move once he has designated them as his bed. One might assume due to this that the cat is generally cuddly. This is a misunderstanding, for Sir John loathes being touched without permission. Petting is a huge no-no for him unless you wish to be gazed at in irritation and get the rare hiss out of the cat.

Basically, Mr Jenkins is always in a bad mood and hates everyone (expect for the now deceased Mr Ezra, who was very similar personality-wise), though, truth be told, just like his initial owner he is extremely loyal and protective over the household, despite not showing it too much. As a matter of fact, he has always had a soft spot for Jasper since the day the kid was brought into this world, which is why the family allowed for the boy to take the cat along with him to Hogwarts, just like his brother had done years ago. Mr John as if serves to substitute their grandpa that passed away years ago (namely, Griffith Ezra) through looking out for the Ezra siblings to the extend of his limited feline abilities...

Family History The Ezra family is one of a pure-blood lineage that runs back undisturbed for centuries and, as such, has indulged in all the despicable practices of the nobles in the Wizarding World - few distant (or not so distant) relatives here and there are either alleged or confirmed Death Eaters (all currently deceased and previously disowned by the head of the family - Griffith Ezra), violence against muggles was strong with some branches (again disowned...) and, of course, inbreeding was a common occurrence. This is exactly what befell Jasper's paternal grandparents - Florence and Griffith - who were forced into a loveless marriage for the sole egotistic purpose of keeping the bloodline "pure", which could be attained due to them being 5th cousins. The line was simply desperate at that time to keep in with traditions, which is why the Ezras are slowly dying out nowadays. As a matter of fact, their bloodline was at its lowest during Jesse's grandparents' time, which is why they complied to having a child in spite of never possessing any feelings for each other apart from general friendliness. The result of the consummation of their emotion (or rather absence of one, this was a simple duty to them both) ended up being, surprisingly, a blessing, since from it a bright child was born. Namely, their only son - George.

Keeping their offspring as far away from the rest of the family as they possibly could, Griffith and Florence raised their son right, overcoming their own discrimination against muggles and half-bloods due to acknowledging that for the Ezra clan to continue forth George would have to wed someone of non-pure blood status. Things didn't turn out exactly like that... Whilst attending Hogwarts as a part of Slytherin, young George became acquitted with an eccentric girl in Gryffindor by the name of Michelle, who, despite possessing the antics of non-magic individuals, was of a noble background. However, her family - the Adcocks - had been defamed and deemed as blood-traitors at the beginning of the XX century due to Michelle's odd mother, Arabella Wordsworth, "enchanting" the up till then promising candidate for a head of department in the Ministry of Magic - Maximilian Adcock. The two were the very opposite of George's mother and father. Arabella and Max (as she referred to him) were head over heels in love and couldn't care less about continuing the family or about their blood status. They simply wanted to have fun and travel and be wild, which they passed on to their daughter, who in turn taught George how to unwind a little.

Possibly due to this loud behavior, Florence and Griffith were against taking in Michelle as their daughter-in-law at first. In all honesty, a muggle would have been an easier disgrace to swallow than blood-traitors, yet they had to do what they had to do. Plus, George was having none of their meddling... Overtime, emotions between the two sides calmed down and both Jesse's paternal and maternal grandparents learnt not only to live with but also appreciate one another, each picking up something from the other. Meanwhile, George and Michelle were left alone to create a small family of their own, being the sole remaining branch of the Ezra lineage after Griffith disowned everyone else as soon as his father passed away and he became the head of the family. Retiring in the peaceful countryside of Wales, the two lovebirds began a life of relaxation together with their two sons - Omar and his younger brother Jasper.

Biography Jasper grew up in peace and quiet, deep in the countryside of Wales on an old farmhouse as if straight out of a fairy-tale. It was actually quite the magical place since he lived surrounded by the mystic from the day he was born. His parents never attempted to conceal the existence of the Wizarding World from neither of their children, seeing as both Michelle and George were proud of their origin. Quite the opposite - they introduced spells and mystical books to their sons early on and utilized their own knowledge to do everyday tasks, transforming their household into one where something amazing was always occurring. Jasper was nurtured through stories of the great wizards of the past and came to admire Albus Dumbledore the most, who was quite fittingly the wizard he got on his first chocolate frog card, which started off him collecting these items and being fascinated with the history of magic more than with actual magic... Jasper's parents promoted this hobby of his nonetheless as they simply wanted to get Omar and Jasper used to the fact that this would be their calling and that they should anxiously await letters from none-other than the best school out there (in their opinion...) - Hogwarts.

And the boys did become expecting, especially Jasper since his brother was much older than him and did receive access into the world of magic early on. Hence, the older brother very much enjoyed teasing the younger one with tales of greatness and wonder or simply through showing off his personal achievements since he ended up as a promising Quidditch player for the Slytherin house and is currently on his way to making this game his professional career. The house Omar had been sorted into was also a very important factor in making him rise in his paternal grandparents' eyes since the Ezras have been an exclusive Slytherin family for centuries. Their grandpa, Griffith, was especially pleased with this turn of events, which was shocking since he was rarely pleased with anything. Griffith had always been a rather distant, cold man who never really did tell his grandchildren he loved them, despite this being the case. The man was simply never too good with communicating his emotions, which his wife commented on daily so as to reassure Omar and Jasper that their grandpa did indeed care for them. He did manifest his attachment to the boys through gifts and encouragement or telling them stories from the good old days, which Jasper adored especially. He and Mr Ezra go on quite well additionally due to Griffith having a soft spot for the younger brother and bringing him old books whenever he visited. Through this, Jasper ended up with the huge collection of reading material he has in his room today, alongside his other various collections.

The influence for those he got from the other side of the family - namely, from grandma Arabella, who hates being reminded that she is old and still loathes it even at the age of 93. She says she will always remain young at heart and is the stereotypical flower-child hippie, who got Jasper in love with muggle culture, which she had been a part of together with her husband for many years. Thus, Jesse grew up surrounded by stories of the "mundane" folk, which he took to be wonderful tales, far more interesting that the magic he was used to since birth. Despite this, the boy has never actually gotten in contact with muggles and knows close to nothing regarding their lifestyle, apart from the now obsolete information Arabella exaggerated.

Jasper has always been closed off not only when it comes down to muggle-born but other individuals outside his close relatives as well. He was always adventuring in his mind, shut away in the attic space of the Ezra residence where he kept all his books, covered in spider webs and dust which in turn ended up in his hair and on his pale face. His magic abilities also manifested themselves quite late due to his infatuation with learning about magic and its history instead of actually doing something. This had resulted in a lot of panic in the Ezra household until he ended up levitating whilst daydreaming one morning. It was something quite small in comparison to some other more grand tricks his brother had shown during his early years, yet Jas's parents were glad beyond belief. Their son potentially being a squib was never too big of a deal, especially in Michelle and Arabella's eyes, yet this would definitely mean a life of sorrow for Jasper, who had grown up surrounded by magic he would never attain in such a scenario. They were also glad that this had all gone down during the rare occasion on which Jasper was not stuck in the attic... He actually spent so much time in that dark space that his parents at last resorted to repairing and transforming it into Jesse's current bedroom. Nowadays, due to this, he rarely ever exits that place, completely submerged in the stories he reads and imagines, yet never daring to actually go out and live his own adventure. His parents are hoping that attending Hogwarts and actually making friends (for the first time...) will aid their son in ceasing this maladaptive daydreaming habit.

"Knock. Knock! KNOCK!" came an annoying sound from the small circular ceiling window to the Ezras' household attic. This noise had been going on for at least half an hour now, which would drive any normal person crazy, yet Jesse was anything but "normal". Squinting his eyes as he sat hunched over on the floor, gazing into an old book with tiny small hand-written characters, the boy could not be disturbed by anything. Whilst reading his attention was set only on the pictures evoked by the words laid out before him. Not even the shadow of the bird looming over him from the window as it fluttered its wings in agitation could tear him apart from his imaginary world.

At last, relief! The constant taping had ceased with one last screech from Jas's uninvited guest. There followed a few moments of blissful silence, which made the boy feel internally at peace, despite not even noticing the disruption in his calmness prior to this, yet soon enough voices could be heard echoing from beneath him on the first floor. "An owl!?" a gruff manly voice exclaimed. "An owl!" chimed in a cheerful high-pitched girly tone. "A letter!" the man replied and then immediately footsteps came rushing up the staircase, closing in on Jasper.

Shooting out of his fantasy, the boy looked around in confusion, perceiving the heavy footfalls coming his way until the door was slammed open and he was greeted by the smiling beautiful face of his mother. The woman came rushing in without even a word, picking her son off the floor and lifting him up to stand before her as she sat on his bed. Michelle's smile soon faded away as a crunch could be heard as soon as she seated herself down. Reaching underneath herself carefully, the woman gave out a sigh. Jesse's brand new pair of glasses now stood broken in half in her hands. Grimacing, her husband went over to the light-switch next to the door and turned on the lights to brighten up this dark space. The sudden mood change made Ezra blind for a split second, resulting in the boy shielding his eyes.

After a few moments spent protecting his eyesight, a gentle tuck removed his palms from his face and a thumb began scrubbing at the boy's cheek. "Ow, stop that!" Ezra pleaded. "You're all dirty. There's dust all over you! Don't tell me you've been digging through that old garbage again..." Michelle explained, trying her best to remove a stain from her son's face, yet no matter what she did, it wouldn't go away. "They're books! Not garbage..." Giving up at last, she ignored Jasper's objections and gazed around at the countless tomes sprawled across the floor. No matter how often she dusted the bookshelves here, a new layer of dust as if appeared every day. It was like some stupid form a magic there just to spite her... Cleaning his clothes and face briefly, which resulted in a grey cloud forming around him, Jasper looked up at his parents "So... Michelle, George..." he gazed intently at the two of them "What is it? Do you have something to tell me?"

Jasper's mum and dad exchanged glances, which immediately made their previous smiles reappear. "Well" George cleared his throat as he spoke up "You just received your first mail, Jesse. And it's... quite the special delivery."

The boy's eyes lit up as soon as those words hit his ears. Could it really be? Noticing Jas's anticipation, his father walked towards him and knelt down before the boy. Looking into his childish eyes with his own happy gaze, he reached around in his pocket and produced a fine letter - white like a tooth and with a red seal Jasper knew all too well. After all, he remembered the day his brother got his letter like it was yesterday - the rejoicing voices and Omar flaunting around with that wondrous object in hand. Hesitating for only a split second, Jasper reached over to be given his mail. Treating it carefully as if it was the most important thing in the world, the boy examined it, taking in every detail just like he did with his treasured books.

Then Jasper began reading out-loud, his heart beating with excitement "To Mr Jasper Ezra, the Attic Space, 11 High Town, Llanigon HR3 5AE, Wales, UK..."

Maple stands at 4 foot 9 inches, his stature is lean with a little baby fat. He isn't muscular at all. Maple's frame looks like he could break at any strong touch, that isn't the case though, his bones are quite strong. His skin doesn't look like it has seen much sun, it's a creamy white that seems almost like a light parchment. His fingernails, even though for his age they aren't long, are chewed to the quick. His hair is brown and always neatly combed and trimmed, due to his mother telling him that he should always look presentable.

His eyes are almond shaped with chocolate brown irises, they always seem to be focusing on one thing before darting to the other. His wardrobe varies, normally he is seen in loose sweaters and jackets, since he complains of the cold if he doesn't. He has a pair of black framed glasses that he wears whenever he needs to, other than that he keeps them tucked in his shirt. He is always seen wearing bandages due to his accident prone nature. When Maple smiles it's quite a charming smile, dimples and all.
PERSONALITY:

Maple is a determined and stubborn child. When he gets his mind on something he'll get it done or accomplished, no matter what anyone says. Mostly cause he is impatient and hates waiting for anything. He is by no means a brat at all and refuses to consider himself entitled. He doesn't have much grace, he normally trips over something or gets hurt on a daily basis.

He gets labeled as weak for his structure and for which, gets Maple irritated and causes him to snap at the person who even mentions it. In fact he refuses to be seen as weak, even if it hurts him in the process. Although he may come off as brash, he's not in the least bit. He is very logical with things he does, always observing and calculating the situation.

For a child he is courageous and even if he was scared he doesn't show it. Maple really cares about others, especially his own family and friends. If someone manages to befriend him, They'll have a loyal friend who would punch faces if he saw someone hurt them.

FAMILY HISTORY:

The Komeda Family and Johnson Family are two lines of pure-blooded wizards and witches. The Komeda Family is more prominent in Japan. Ryan's family are alumni of Mahoutokoro School of Magic all though, Ryan never saw Japan. His family moved to England before he was born. The Johnson Family was an elite family, they had their hands in the politics of the wizarding world as did the Komeda Family. They expected only the best from their only daughter. When Maple's parents attended Hogwarts, even though they were in the rivaling houses of Slytherin and Gryffindor, they became close friends. By their fifth year they were dating, their parents seeing how the twos' relationship could benefit them business wise, pressured them to marry after their seventh year. The two at 17 and 18 got engaged, the two families prepared a wedding and the deal was sealed. Only four years after Layla's parents were murdered by a disturbed wizard with a distaste of the government. Though though the darkness there was light, Layla found out she was pregnant. Nine months later Maple was born and he would be raised to be his parent's legacy.

BIOGRAPHY:

Maple's earliest memory was warm arms and a smiling woman. He knew who it was, he guessed it was his mother because she always smiled at him like that. Throughout his early childhood Maple had a strict schedule that his parents made sure he followed it. Normally piano lessons and school work, he had a teacher for both. He was expected to be presentable, have good manners and show class. Even through all that Maple kept a friendly and optimistic attitude. Maple always looked up to his parents and was always determined to make them happy.

He enjoyed when he could spend time with them. It was when he was seven that Maple was exposed to the Wizarding World. Maple was fascinated and wide eyed like a kid in a candy shop. The worlds he read in his favorite muggle books were real and before his eyes. When his parents sat him down and told him about Hogwarts and how when he was twelve he would attend, Maple was determined to read all he could about magic.

His father had given him some old school books and even though he forgot easily, he still grasped on to the important things. He waited impatiently for his eleventh birthday, when it did, Sunset arrived with his acceptance letter.

Maple hated waking up so early on a Saturday, though he couldn't protest when their House Elf threatened to pour a pot of water on him. He sat up with a whine and put his legs on the floor and slipped his slippers on. They had the faces of smiling owls on them. "Master, your parents are waiting downstairs for you." Nina the House Elf had told him before leaving the room. Maple went to the bathroom and started to brush his teeth and hair.

Changing into his clothes for the day he made his way downstairs to the dining room. "Good morning Mom and Dad." he smiled and tried to sound a bit happy, which he wasn't. Layla came up to him and put her hands on his cheek and smiled down at him "Don't look so grumpy, Little Pumpkin." she said and kissed his forehead. His father chuckled from the table.

Most kids would complain of being called pet names, but Maple loved being called them. It made his mom happy so he was happy about it. A screech came through the dining room when Sunset flew in through the window. The colorful owl dropped an envelope on the dining room table before perching on the the back of one of the chairs.

Maple's eyes lit up happily when he knew what it was. He grabbed it and opened it before reading.

"I believe we should schedule a time to go to Diagon Alley, shouldn't we?" his father winked.

A disgruntled Mary had came downstairs with a pout "Why is it so noisy?" she and and looked at the letter in Maple's hand. She ran over and clung to the leg of her older brother. "I wanna go with you." she begged.

Maple got down to her level and smiled "Soon Mary, it's only a few more years." he said and wiggled her nose. She seemed fine with this answer and giggled. "One condition, you have to eat your veggies every day." he tried.

"Yuck, no." Mary said with a disgusted look. 'It was worth a try.' he thought to himself

Alyssa is a fair skinned girl with long dirty blonde diverse waves, which hang till her mid-back. Her eyes are bluish-grey however they tend to appear more grey as she grows up. She bears no scars or tattoos and her only piercings are her ear ones which are usually filled with a pair of button earrings.

At Hogwarts apart from her house uniform and quidditch gear which is the same as others however differing in the house colors as hers is scarlet and gold. Her style of clothing quite varies as she grows up. In her early years she is typically seen in an over-sized sweater and a simple leggings accompanied by sneakers. In her mid years it is generally a simple tank top either leggings or jeans, even simple scatter dresses in some occasions but yet resides to her sneakers and in her later years she mainly roots for dresses both of long and short in length and simple heels and or sandals. However due to being interested in physical exercise and keeping herself fit, her go to outfits are always a simple hoodie, some sweatpants and simple sneakers throughout all her years.

She is quite beautiful herself however she knows it but yet defies it due to her insecurities which she tries working her way out of it and get the fact that everyone is beautiful in their own way. Her most prominent insecurity is her teeth, she sees them as too big and the fact that she was a tad flat chested.

Personality:Alyssa is quite a laid back character when it comes to new interactions, she is outgoing, cheery and quite adapt to any conversation she might enter. If she has no knowledge of the subject she will ask questions to familiarize herself with the subject as to find some common ground, all in all she never passes up the opportunity to learn something new. The girl has no problem in trusting a person however when she does and the other person takes advantage of that and worse breaks her trust he gets his/her payback harshly even though she ain't a vulgar person, LIARS are her top most despised type of person anyone could be in her vision. She also has a faint heart in the sense she loves easily, not in a romantic kind of way but also friendship wise. Despite all of her fears she is brave enough to try and face them herself one day but it was quite the challenge for her.

Family History: There is not much to say except that her father was an Italian who married a witch and ever since then they moved to England ever since even though Alyssa was an infant.

Biography: Alyssa is a half-blood witch and was raised by her muggle father and with her four older brothers which accustomed her to adapt more well with males rather than females. Davide which was her muggle father, married another muggle to which she was introduced in Alyssa's life when she was 3. Losing her mother being only an infant, Alyssa was deprived of her knowledge about the magical world awaiting her so she adapted to muggle circumstances when it came to lifestyle, hobbies, education and so on. She had quite the rough patch with her step mother as she despised her for now reason so Alyssa made it a point that she despised her due to being the only female which in reality it was simply the fact that she had lost her only female child due to a miscarriage. With that being said Alyssa have always been accompanied by her childhood best friend and brother, Nathan who is only a year older than her, he was the closest sibling she had. With him around she was never alone, however that all changed when he went to elementary school which he other older brothers were attending as well so that felt as if she was abandoned, hence when she started feeling alone which she quite hated. Growing up Alyssa always enjoyed the time she spent with her father, quality time, doing athletic activities being it playing tennis, soccer, basketball and taking a swim, she grew up to love it and advanced on it. Her fear of spiders had started when she was only 5 years old when she fell in a pit in the school's play field and she felt creepy crawlies up her leg which turned out to be the eight legged devils. As for her claustrophobia came right after when she was travelling to her father's work with Maria, her step-mother and got stuck in an elevator for a whole day till help came. What was worse then being stuck in an elevator with one light, small space which felt like she was in shoe box, no food, lack of air and with the person that dreaded her?

Now Alyssa was 11 years of age and just received her Hogwarts letter which she didn't quite understand. A letter addressed to her which she quickly inquired to her dad about. They sat down and he explained how her mother who was a witch has passed away giving birth to her, he explained where her mother came from and followed by that what Alyssa is. Along with the explanation her father gave her a golden pendant with her name on it which her mother wanted to give her as a first birthday present together with her father and ever since then she will treasure it forever. She found this information about her mother quite shocking and terrifying that she kept blaming herself for her mother's death when in reality there was nothing to be done. All in all now Alyssa was preparing for adventure of a lifetime, to discover new things and what awaits her in the future, on the 1st of September....
