Ever since 1st grade Max has been bullied. Day in and day out. Even at home. It put him into a pit of depression and eventually bipolar branched off of that. Everyday was a struggle. Even getting out of bed was hard. Max knew he would have to enter the doors of a hell they call school. Behind those doors lie the most evil creature known to Kingston High School. Riley Conover...He has been tormenting Max ever since 9th grade.


Everyone knew Max was gay. Even though Max didn't have any friends and he didn't even flaunt his sexuality, word just...got around. The school really didn't care...well...besides Riley. After Riley found out, that's when the torment began. Riley would kick Max down, punch him, call him a f-a-g, and the list goes on. But during the whole thing...Max somehow developed the tiniest hint of a crush for Riley...the one putting him through so much misery.
 
Riley was on the bus going to school. He grinned, thinking about his victim, Max. He bullied Max for a certain reason, he was Gay. Sure, Riley was Gay too. No one knew though. Well, besides his family. The bus stopped in front of the school and he jumped off. Then her ran inside and searched for Max.
 
Max took his bag off his shoulder and opened his locker, trying to hurry. He didn't want to get caught up with Riley, even though it was inevitable...how many bruises would he earn today?


Max grabbed his English book and shut his locker. He sped walked down the hall through the crowd hoping to avoid Riley's appearance...well that lasted a short time. As soon as he turned the corner, he ran face first into the red-haired bully.
 
Riley pushed Max down and his friends surrounded Max. They blocked his way of escaping and Riley kneeled down. "Sup f-a-g. Did you get a boyfriend yet?" He questioned as he pulled Max's hair. His friends laughed and the principal started coming towards them.
 
Max winced in pain as Riley pulled his hair, listening to his friends cruel laughter. "Did you get a boyfriend yet?" Riley asked cruelly. He did his best to hold back the tears, why did he like this boy again...? Just then the principal started making his way towards them.
 
The principal pulled Riley off and the math teacher helped Max up. "Go to my office!" The principal yelled as she pointed towards her office. Riley crossed his arms and just stood there. The principal grabbed his arm and pulled him with her to her office.
 
The math teacher helped Max up and he brushed himself off. When the math teacher asked if Max was alright he said he was fine. He picked up his bag and headed to first period, which he was already late for.


Advanced Literature droned on for Max. He kept looking out the window and daydreaming about Riley.


-DAYDREAM-


"Hey Riley..." Max said cautiously.


"I've been looking for you", Riley replied. Riley then grabbed Max by the shirt and took him into the bathroom.


"I don't want trouble!" Riley then started kissing Max on his lips then on the neck...


-END DAYDREAM-


"Max Fairview!" The teacher pulled Max out of his daydream.


"Huh? Yes?" Max replied, still in a daze.


"I need you to read-" just then the bell rang, cutting off the teacher. Before reaching second period, he saw Riley outside the principals office. Max hid behind the corner.

Riley got up after being lectured by the principal. He sat by his locker and sighed. He didn't want to do this anymore. He looked over and saw his friends getting ready to attack Max. He jumped up and ran over to them, pushing them down and standing in front of Max.
 
Max cringed in fear, as Riley ganged up on him. "Please Riley..I- I don't want trouble." Max was trembling with fear. Max knew Riley would beat his ass. Just for being gay...which is so stupid! Max looked into Riley's eyes...wow...they were beautiful.


He couldn't think about the crush now! He was about to get his butt beaten. "Fine...hurt me..I deserve it. I always deserve it." Tears started rolling down his cheeks, causing him more embarrassment. He braced himself for the pain coming.
 
Riley stood there and didn't do anything. "Im not going to hurt you..." He said quietly. He got closer to Max and whispered, "Im gay too..."
 
Max was shocked. Seriously? His bully, was coming out as gay TO HIM? He couldn't help but laugh. "Ok, yeah good one. I'd rather you hurt me physically than mess with my brain."


He couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. This kid had been tormenting Max for years for being gay. And now he's saying HE'S gay?! This was a load of crap.
 
Riley rolled his eyes and kissed Max. Did this kid really not believe him? He pulled away, "believe me now?" He said sternly.
 
(OCC: dang that escalated quickly xD )


Riley leaned in and kissed Max. "Believe me now?" Riley asked. Max was blushing and was speechless.


"I-I - I should head to second period..." He didn't want to go to class. He wanted to know more about where Riley was coming from. Why has he been bullying him for all these years?


"I should go..." Max said awkwardly.
 
(OCC:I don't want that shit to take forever.)


"No." Riley said while grabbing Max's arm. He wasn't going to let him ignore the fact that he just kissed him.
 
Riley grabbed Max's arm, preventing him from going anywhere. "Hey!" He struggled to get free, but Riley's grip was too tight. "What do you want?" Max asked. "Why did you even kiss me..."
 
Riley growled, "I kissed you because I have liked you for those last years!" He yelled. Everyone was now surrounding him. No one would ever think he was Gay.
 
"...I have liked you for those last years!" He yelled, calling attention to themselves. Max looked around at the people staring and whispering. "Riley...let's go somewhere...private?" Max guided Riley out of the school and to a nearby park and sat down on a bench. Who cares if he missed school for one day?
 
Riley sighed and sat down next to Max. "Now, what do you want?" He asked, annoyed. He just wanted to get thise over with.
 
"Well for starters, you kissed me and you said you liked me. Why have you been hurting me all these years? Riley I have hated myself because of you. I'm scared to get out of bed because of you! What the hell do you think I want?" Max was furious, but also intrigued with the sudden knowledge of knowing his own crush and bully, liked him back.
 
"I bullied you because I would never be able to date you! I have a crush on you! Why can't you just understand that? Im not bullying you right now because this shit needs to change!" He yelled at Max.
 
Max sighed and kissed Riley. "I have liked you awhile as well..." Max turned his head away, embarrassed. "So what now?" He asked.
 
Riley blushed and smiled. "I don't know...I don't want to go back to school I know that." He sighed and let his red hair cover his eyes.
 
Max looked around. He was speechless. He didn't know what to do or say..."I don't wanna go back either...do you wanna go do something..?"
 
"Sure. Just whatever you wanna do..." He said while shrugging his shoulders.
 
Max laughed. "Wow, we know exactly what we wanna do. Hey...wanna come to my house? I have Mario Kart on the Wii. My family is out. Parents are at work and my brother should still be in school." He hoped he didn't sound like a pedophile luring him in...
