Realistic or Modern Loveless

I'm going for the shy gay introverted loveless who's really talented but doesn't think he is.

I'm going for a guy that is cold-hearted, but has a sensitive side that people hardly see. He's straight and he's destined to be a soulmate of someone, but can he really find someone he likes?

(any pairings, if this happens? anyone? )

I meant a villain as in, someone high up who acts to persecute the Loveless, or even just a resident bully (depending on the scale), or heck, could even be a plot-device type character for the characters to band together against. Someone who starts hunting Loveless, OR a psychopath Loveless who releases like a terrorist statement that he's going to bomb places b/c he hates the non-Loveless, etc etc. That kind of thing!

Ah! I see. I was confused there, I reckon. Heh. I do like all of those ideas, so they're accepted. Don't make characters super edgy or anything, though.

Nice. What do you mean by super edgy, though? :)  I will do my best, but I'd like to know what you specifically are talking about.

Taking coolness to its extreme and generally beyond the realm of actual possibility, while at the same time seemingly unaware of how ridiculous it is. Like, basically, don't have Mary/Gary Sue characters or terribly tragic pasts or whatnot. This applies to everyone, though.

Yeah. I'm sorry if I don't make sense. I can't English today.

Oh, that! Of course. I may make him (or her, actually, why haven't I ever done a female psycho before..?) a little bit crazy (for some reason I've come to realize in the past few years roleplaying that I'm actually quite good at the borderline psychopaths), but I hate writing OP or perfect characters, and will try to keep the tragic past to a minimum. *peace sign.

I'd love to make a character who's only knowledge of love and romance is from novels, so she's a hopeless romantic, but is absolutely and utterly scared of actually being in love/having someone else love her, because who could possibly even love her? Any romantic encounters would be beautifully hilarious :D

Of course. It could be a while before the roleplay is made, however. Technical difficulties.

Very interested, and I agree that realistic face claims would be easier.

I'm thinking about going with anime pictures, I'm afraid. More people prefer it.
