Love Your Enemy

Enolx

Time to murder the English language.
"I have another job for you," an older gentleman said while seated at a dining room table. The man then slid a thick file to the other end of the table.

A child, maybe six or seven, at the other end of the table caught the file and quickly examined it. "It will be done father," the child said. The man nodded as the child grabbed a gun off the table and walked out the door.

Darkness covered Leon as he sat in a tree outside the complex and watched the movement around the building. He looked for cameras and alarms before choosing his route. He swiftly jumped out of the tree and ran towards the main building. Leon had spotted the target in a windowed room in the back of the house earlier. There was a tree that could be climbed to gain easy access, but that was not what was asked of him. This mission was to make a point, so Leon would make a point.

Leon walked up to the front door surprising the two guards there. "What are you doing here kid this isn't..." one of the men said as he and his partner were silenced by suppressed shots to the head. Leon then kicked open the doors and ran through the building. Leon moved with grace and speed, dodging furniture and bullets. As he moved he killed, every shot to the head. He went door to door killing every man there, leaving women and children alone as long as they didn't resist. After killing four more in the final hallway before the windowed room, Leon went to a side room and went out of the rooms window. He climbed along the outside of the building and he stopped when he was under the window of his target room. As he guessed, his target was waiting with three bodyguards. All three had automatic weapons waiting for him to come through the front door after all the noise he made.

Leon held himself up with one arm as he used a wire to open the window. It slid open without a sound and Leon climbed into the opening. Three rapid shots dropped the guards and before his target could react Leon's gun was pointed at him. "I'll give you anything you want, money, women, position it's all yours," The man said as he started to turn around.

"Drop the gun," Leon said.

The man hastily dropped it to his feet before he turned the rest of the way. "Your a kid," the man said "A child made it all the way here." As Leon was about to shoot the door to the room opened relieving a woman and her child. "Don't worry we will be safe here honey," the woman said " This is the safest place in the house the bad man could never get here." The woman then looked up to to see Leon standing in the window gun pointed at her. "No," the man yelled "Hurry, run, get out of here." The man ran towards Leon to try to protect the woman but he shot him in his leg bringing him to the ground. The woman instead of running away ran towards one of the guns on the ground. Leon shot her through her chest. He made sure to miss anything vital but, she would still be in trouble without medical help. "No no no no no," the man cried "This can't be happening." The man then crawled over and held the woman in his arms. "You need to run now," The man yelled to the child, but shock had locked her body and eyes in place. Leon left the window and walked over to where the man was holding the woman and put his gun to the man's head. As he started to cry Leon turned to see the eyes of the girl locked on him. "You will never forget this," Leon said "It will be with you forever. Every time you close your eyes you will see this moment. You will never know rest. It will eat at you and it will ruin your life. So hate me for as long as you live, because that will be the only thing that keeps you going. Trust me."

BANG!!!

" I have received word that you completed your mission," the man said from his seat at the table "You make me proud as always XIII. You are free to go, relax you have earned it my boy." Leon walked out of the dinning room to his room which was the cellar of a side expansion of the main building. The walls were gray and the light was dim, training equipment covered the floor and a mat laid on the ground in the corner. Leon made his way over to his mat, sat down and put his head into his knees. He reached over and grabbed an old revolver that he kept next to his bed. As he held the gun he remembered his father's words. "If you can no longer handle living, put in one bullet, spin the chamber, put it to your head, and pull the trigger. Let god decide if it is your time to go." Leon put in one bullet, spun the chamber, and put it to his head." You will never forget this," Leon said " It will be with you forever. Every time you close your eyes you will see this moment. You will never know rest. It will eat at you and it will ruin your life." Leon slowly pulled the trigger as he though "I'm so tired."

"Twenty tries," Leon said as he laid down " Maybe my life is not mine to take."

"NO!" Isis yelled as she shot up in her covers, her forehead drenched in sweat, she was trembling. "Another dream . . ." She sighed glancing at her clock it was four in the afternoon and she started work at five. "Well I guess it's as good a time as any to get ready."

Hopping into the shower she turned the dial to warm and water gushed unto her skin, first cold then hot then warm. She lathered, rinsed and shut off the water. Grabbing her towel she steps out and glars at herself. Oh why do I have to look like a stranger. I look nothing like my parents.

PING She heard her phone. Sure enough, it was her boss. Texting him back she lotions up, puts on what little make up she has and grabs her uniform. The uniform-it was some sort of excuse that her boss had for making the girls in his joint look, well to use his words, yummy. She hated the thing but it paid the bills and no one ever made any advances towards her. She was safely tucked away behind a bar and away from pervs that always had more than their fair share of liquor.

Glancing at the clock once more she read 4:45pm. "Great I'm gonna be late." She checked the weather outside and sure enough it was snowing. It was always snowing. Grabbing her boots and her coat she was out the door in seconds.

"Phew, made it." She said panting outside the tavern. She entered the warm establishment. Placing her coat on the coat rack she tires her apron on and sets up the bar. Customers come trailing in ordering a couple cocktails, sodas, some order shots and Isis is put to work. They leave her tips and smile at her giving her compliments, the usual. Some women get jealous here and there, but Isis paid no attention to it. She hears her name being called. Realizing it's her boss she pours the wine and excuses herself.

"What is it? I'm busy."

"Don't give me that. You've been cutting it kinda close lately. As punishment you get to closer up tonight. Amber needs to go home. She's been too sick." Isis isn't moved at all by his remark. She simply shrugs her shoulders and nods getting back to work.

"You'll be here until four in the morning instead of one!" He hollers and Isis simply waves him off serving others. It's not like I want to go home. She sighed and then immediately smiled at her customers.

"Miss. Shot of Patron, now." The man said snapping his fingers. Isis shot him a nasty look.

"There you go. And next time say please big shot." She smirked as she walked away.

Isis began to close up the tavern and bussed the tables one by one putting up the chairs. She shut the lights off and placed her coat on exiting the place. Locking up she feels someone behind her. Swiftly turning around she sees the man from early the one that ordered a shot of patron. His eyes spelled lust. She didn't like this. The air grew tight and her breath grew short.

"You know, I didn't really like your attitude back there. I guess someone has got to teach you a lesson." He said advancing towards her.

"Heh, too bad I never was good at learning." Isis said backing away from him. He suddenly lunges towards her and grabs her wrists. She crosses her arms, one over the other and brings her heel forcefully down onto his feet. He lets go and she turns twisting his arm over her shoulder and plunging him to the ground. "That'll teach you." She said spitting on the ground next to him. Turning on her heels the snow thickens. The man grabs her feet and she falls on the ground. He pins her down and begins to unbutton her top. Fighting back proves useless and Isis then screams out of frustration. But would anyone hear her at for in the morning in the cold snow. Probably not.

Leon woke up in a cold sweat. " Well it's not like I ever expect to get a good sleep," Leon said as he shook himself awake. He walked through his loft over to where his workout equipment was. It was early but, every morning this was Leon's routine. He would wake up from one of his many bad dreams, workout, go to work, visit the cafe, and then make his way home.

After his workout Leon enjoyed his favorite part of the day, shower time. His showers were when he enjoyed himself the most. He would crank up his music, then sing and dance as he washed himself. He used this time for thinking and planning. After he was cleaned up he went to his closet and pulled out a three piece black suit and a white tie. "Yes," Leon said with a smile " Classic mafia suit. That will work." After getting dressed Leon made his way down the stairs. His home was on top of a flower shop so whenever he would come down he was greeted by the owner, an upper middle aged woman of average build with a dazzling smile. " I'm heading out Miss Amber," Leon said as he walked through the shop. " Wait a second Leon," Miss Amber proclaimed as she came out from behind a tulip bush with a bundle of flowers " Here these are for you, as thanks for the painting." "No thank you for letting me sit in your store to paint it," Leon said as he took the flowers and started to walk out " One day you will have to model for me."

Normally Leon would ride his motercycle to the school but it was tragically cold and slick, so today he decided to take the bus because walking in this weather was not an option for him. Leon worked at a local college as a drawing and painting instructor. He arrived early and left late some days but, he at least go to do something he enjoyed. There were was a major project due next week so Leon let his students work on those today, giving help and suggestions where needed. He spent most of his work day drawing the flowers he had gotten in pastels. There was a department meeting that Leon had to attend that stopped him from going to the cafe today and after he stayed late to grade some projects that had been turned in early.

It was late by the time Leon finished his work. Leon made his way to the bus stop and waited there. After waiting for ten minutes Leon got bored and looked up the bus schedule. It turned out that this bus stopped running after 11. "Awesome," Leon said cursing after " It's thirty minutes by car to my place from here. I guess I will have to call for a ride." Leon then whipped out his phone and made a call. " Hey VII you still live on the upper east right," Leon said " I kinda got myself stuck at the school and I need a ride. No I don't want to go drinking, I want to go home.... That's a load of crap I don't owe you anything..... I pulled you out of that fire..... No you blew up my car, not the other way around.... Fine God, we will go to a bar just come get me."

Leon had made his way back into his office to wait for his ride. About ten minutes later he received a text saying that VII was at the school. When Leon made his way out of the school he was greeted by the sight of a Jaguar F type and a bright smile from a rolled down window. " Wearing a suit in this weather," the dark skinned man behind the wheel said " You are my brother." Leon slid over the hood of the car and got in on the passengers side. " It's a three piece," Leon said with a smile " Thanks for coming VII, I would not have survived a walk home in this." "No problem," VII responded as he started to drive off " but one thing you sure I blew up your car and not the other way around." "Yes you launched my car over a cliff and blew it up to kill a target in a helicopter." Leon stated holding back anger " It was my marussia, I loved that car. Also while we are on this subject, I now own this car." VII let out a laugh and wiped a tear forming before saying " Yea I did do that, man I'm awesome."

Leon and VII spent a few hours in a bar drinking and playing pool. Before they even realized it was closing time. VII was in no shape to drive let alone walk so Leon had to carry him to the car. As Leon was about to try drive off he remembered that VII left the keys on the pool table in the bar so he walked back to get them. As he walked back he heard a scream from a side alley. Leon quickly became alert, his hand dropping to his gun on reflex. When Leon located to disturbance he saw a man holding down a woman in the snow. "It's like four in the morning," Leon said as he rolled his eyes.

Leon walked over to the man. "Get up and go it's too early for this and I want to get home," Leon stated. The man looked up at Leon and then went back to tearing off the woman's clothes. "Go home pretty boy this is none of your business," the man said. As Leon walk forword and reached to get the man off he lashed out. With ease Leon caught the mans punch and in a flash dislocated his arm. The man screamed and cursed at Leon. " I'll fucking kill you," the man yelled. " Have you ever passed out from extreme pain," Leon stated flatly. " What? The man responded and as soon as he did Leon dropped and rammed his elbow into the side of the man's knee, breaking it and tearing muscles around it. The man didn't say anything he just dropped like a rag to the ground.

"You can call the hospital if you want," Leon said to the woman. As he started to move towards the bar he heard a jingle in his suit pocket. When he reached in he found the keys to the car. "Wow they were with me the whole time," Leon said to himself " Yea I'm not fit to drive." He then knelt down by the woman. "Hey just wondering can you drive me and my friend home, Leon asked with a drunk smile" I live at 1413 crestwood I would drive myself but, I don't think I'm fit too right now after I made alcohol rapidly run through my system." Leon the started shaking the key in front of him. "Please," Leon begged " it's a jag."

Isis heard another male voice. This one sounded annoyed about something. Was this his way of helping? Telling a man who is clearly trying to rape a woman to just go home. Isis sighed silently. Then suddenly the man dislocated the perverts arm. Isis flinched a little and the next thing she knew her aisle assaulting pervert was on the ground. She looked up at the man who was dressed sharply. He then proceeded to ask her if she could drive them.

"Suppose I owe you, huh." She cooed, her eyes glancing to the unconscious man. I can't just let him die. She nodded towards Leon and whipped out her cell phone. "Hey Mace . . . Yeah yeah . . . No trust me you'll like him and he needs help . . . Mmhmm my work in the back . . . Thanks." BEEP

"You live in the flower shop?" Isis asked taking the keys from Leon and standing up.

As the car came into view she whistled. She was impressed with the piece of steel. Her father had a grand collection of cars when she was tiny, but they were each sold to different people and places just so she and her mother could stay afloat. He didn't live too far. Crestwood was only fifteen minutes away from her place. She shrugged to herself as she buckled in and eyed the man that was wasted. I guess I'll walk home after dripping them off. She started the car and fixed everything to her standards. "Man what a sleek car." She smiled lightly. "Alright, here we go. I hope your buckled." She teased.

The drive was somewhat unrealistic. The snow falling silently, the empty streets, it all seemed as though it were part of a dream. She didn't have to worry about the man that tried to rape her anymore. Mace was a medic, someone she had met on a regular basis. She would come into the bar and pick up strange men, drink and laugh just to take the edge off of med school. But now she was licensed and barely stopped by, but was always up for man candy especially if they needed medical attention. Best part was she never asked questions.

Isis then came back to reality. Her eyes shifted to Leon's, they were intense and somehow seemed familiar. She then broke the silence,

"Thank you, for helping me back there. Though you didn't have to, I appreciate it." She focused on the icy street in front of her, but knew he heard her. Whether or not he resounded was his problem, not hers.

She slowed the car and came to calm and complete stop in front of the flower shop. Did he own the store? Who knew. She sure didn't.

"Here we are. Do you need help with your friend? Or anything else you need? I'd be happy to help. If not well thank you again I better be off." She said handing him the keys and opening the driver's side to get out of the warm car.

"It was nice meeting you." She smiled.

As soon as Leon got the yes he began to smile and said " I knew I could count on you." As he started to walk away he saw her pull out her phone and make a call. " Wow, she is nice to the person who tried to rape her a second ago," Leon thought " Don't see that amount of kindness too often."

As he listened in on the call Leon was not sure if she was calling the hospital or not. The call sounded really personal and the location she gave was just my work. " Does this chick have a medic on call," Leon wondered " What kind of bar needs a personal medic. Yea I don't think I will come back here again, it sounds like trouble."

After she finished her call Leon began to guide her to the car. Leon grinned when he heard he whistle. He walked over to the passengers side and buckled VII in before remembering the car was a two seater. "Yea I can solve this," Leon said grinning. He reached over and popped the trunk. After unbuckling VII Leon tossed him in the back and shut it. Once finished he returned to the front and buckled himself in.

Leon was starting to doze off when he heard the woman's words of thanks. " It's no problem," Leon said looking at the woman " Anyone would help a woman screaming." He then shifted in his seat to a more comfortable position and got some sleep while he rode home.

Leon got up when the car came to a stop. "I don't need help with him but, can you get the doors for me?" Leon asked as she handed him the keys. He then gave them right back to her. " You can keep the car, there is no way I would make someone walk home in this," Leon said " I will pick it up later at the bar or something." He reached over the woman and popped the trunk. He got out and saw that VII was fast asleep. "I wish I could sleep like this guy," Leon thought. He then grabbed him and tossed him over his shoulder like a sack of flour. " What?," VII said half awake " We under attack again." " No, we are home," Leon responded " And shut up."

Leon tossed the woman his store and house keys. "This is the last thing I promise," Leon stated grinning " I don't want to drop him while going up the stairs. Also for your help in getting us home safely you can stay at my house if you want. That way you don't have to drive all the way home at this hour, you must be as tried as us. If you did stay you could have some of my eggs and coffee, my family says they are to die for, but it is your call the car is yours regardless."

"I don't need help with him, but can you get the doors for me? " He asked her. She nodded when she felt him putting the keys back into her hand. She began to protest but stopped as he reached over her to pop the trunk. She placed the keys into her coat pocket.

Getting out of the car the man tossed her the keys to his place. She inserted the key and the door opened with a slight turn. Holding open the door her savoir says she's more than welcome to stay. Come on Ice, you know you don't really want to take the car or walk home right now. Take his offer. She convinced herself and nodded as they both entered the shop. She turned to lock the car and then followed Leon.

The shop smelled, well like flowers of course. She looked around and saw so many beautiful plants. Then she spotted them: purple orchids. "Beautiful." She whispered.

Her ears perked up when she heard the man say something about eggs and coffee. "Yum! Real food!" She giggled. Rarely did she ever have breakfast and she didn't work in the afternoon so needles to say her response was,

"Oh yes please! I'd very much like to stay. Thank you!" She grinned knowing full well she wouldn't dare keep the car.

The woman seemed to be enjoy herself when she entered the flower shop. It was a pleasant place, peaceful, and quite. Leon would often come here after a tough job and just sit. The shop seemed to be disconnected from the world. No mater what it was like outside in the shop it was full of life and calm inside.

The woman said she would like to stay and it made Leon think, his drunk thoughts were not his best thoughts. " I realized you don't even know me I could be a rapist or something and you just came along with a complete stranger to his secluded home." Leon said " You got lucky this time but really, don't go home with strangers even if they save your life, or innocence, or whatever I saved."

Leon went inside his home after speaking his mind. His home was large and open it provided space for is equipment. His floors were hardwood an his walls were covered in different paintings. His home only had two rooms the bathroom and the main room which held all the other rooms. He put VII on his sofa and he laid down on the floor. "You can have the bed if you chose to stay," Leon said as he pulled off his suit jacket and propped his head onto his his arms " I won't do anything, but if you are still uneasy because of my words you have the keys."

Isis smiled a tender smile. "You don't seem like you would be someone who would do anything." She couldn't put her finger on it but she felt like she knew him from somewhere. "Thank you for the bed." She said bowing her head.

She began to unbutton her shirt when his paintings caught her eye. "Wow, these are beautiful." She breathed in the beauty of his work. "You're talented." She stated sliding her top off. She was wearing a tank top underneath so she felt no need to be shy nor worried either way. Taking her hair out of its high point tail she messed with it and flipped it once. Mmm, what a relief. She slid her skirt off and grabbed the pair of spanks she had in her coat pocket. Sometimes being petite had its pros.

She combed through her hair with her fingers and the tangles seemed to disappear. She slipped into the covers of his bed and it was so comfortable. It reminded her of the bed she use to have when she was little. Soft, light, heavenly material; she couldn't help it, she drifted instantly.

"You will never forget this. It will be with you forever. Every time you close your eyes you will see this moment. You will never know rest. It will eat at you and it will ruin your life. So hate me for as long as you live because that will be the only thing that keeps you going." Isis awoke with a gasp and trembled. She was pale and looked a little clamy. She didn't know what time it was but she smelled food and coffee. She looked around still lying in the bed, confused as to where she was. Wiping the beads of sweat off her forehead she saw a painting and remembered what happened a couple of hours ago. "Oh right. But where's?" She then realized she didn't even know her savior's name.

Leon slept soundly. Maybe it was because he had enough alcohol in his system to drown a small village or, maybe it was because for once in a long time he did something good. He didn't have a good dream or anything, his sleep was blank and uneventful, but that was a lot better than terrifying. Leon woke up at his normal time. When he looked over to the sofa he noticed that VII was awake also.

"Man we were well trained," VII said. Leon looked over at the girl in the bed making sure she was asleep before responding "Yea I know, too well really. I'll start breakfast, then we can train, scrambled right. " There is no other way," VII proclaimed with a smile as he went off to stretch in the dojo area of the house. Leon pulled off the rest of his suit and changed into his baggy workout pants. VII soon after went into Leon's closet to change, grabbing a pair of his own. " Are we going to spar," VII asked with a grin. Leon looked at VII with a smile " There is no other way."

Leon walked over to the kitchen and started to pull out what he needed for breakfast. Eversense he started cooking he had always done it shirtless and with music. He would have to wait until the woman woke up for the music but, even with company in the house he would be shirtless. He turned on his tea kettle and began working on the eggs and other food. " I think a medium roast will do today," Leon said with a smile. He enjoyed cooking it was one of the things that kept him going, well that art and showers. As Leon put the eggs into the skillet he heard foot steps from behind him. " Tired of waiting," VII said as he sent a kick towards Leon's head.

Leon caught the kick with his free hand and pushed it upwards. VII just back flipped out of the grab and flipped once more over to the training area. Leon glared at VII and said " At least let me put the...." VII ran in with a flying kick. As VII was in the air Leon heard the click that said the kettle was done with the water. Leon dodged the first kick and blocked a second that came moments after. Leon grabbed VII and threw him over the counter. During this time Leon quickly pulled out his large french press and poured in the coffee and as he went to grab the kettle VII vaulted the counter and caught him in the face with a heel kick. VII landed softly and looked at Leon will a prideful smile. Leon didn't make a sound when he was hit, instead he calmly poured the water into the french press and set down the kettle. He looked over at the woman who was just waking up. "Good," Leon said turning to VII with a fury filled glare.

Leon moved around the eggs so they wouldn't burn and then he walked over towards VII who had dropped into a fighting stance. Leon delivered three rapid kicks which were all blocked by VII. VII then returned Leon's attack with a flurry of his own witch Leon blocked as well. VII sent a side kick at Leon which instead of blocking he caught. To free his leg VII rolled out, an action Leon was waiting for. As soon as VII can up from his roll he was greeted by Leon knee to his forehead. Even after the solid hit VII recovered quickly and tried to get to his feet, Leon immediately spun and delivered a kick to his stomach that send him onto his back. Leon followed up by jumping on him grabbing his arm and getting him into an arm bar.

Leon could smell the eggs and he knew it was time to move them around and add spices, so he had to finish the fight. Leon pulled the arm causing as much pain as possible. " Submit VII," Leon said " I will not let those eggs burn." "I will never give," VII responded through clenched teeth. ""This is not a joke, I will break your arm," Leon declared " Submit." "Let them burn!!!" VII yelled as he freed his arm from the hold sending the back of his fist into Leon stomach in the process. Leon looked over at the woman who was well awake by now. " Woman who's name I don't know, I need you to save the eggs," Leon yelled as he grappled with VII " Lower the heat, add the spices there, and a little oil." As Leon finished his instructions VII got the upper hand and put Leon in a choke hold. "Go to sleep my brother," VII said his words dripping with malaise. Leon sent two quick elbows to the ribs and when VII grip loosened, Leon reversed to hold. "Shhhhh," Leon said with a smile as he choked VII " This will all be over in a second, just let it happen." VII flailed and punched put Leon didn't let up and after a few seconds VII stopped moving.

Leon got up from the ground slowly. "So.....," Leon said trying to act normal " How you doing?"

Isis found her savior cooking and surprisingly enough fighting. What in the world? Maybe I'm still dreaming. She saw kicks thrown and punches blocked, their movements were cool and swift and strong. They were almost like blurs. It smelled delicious, so she knew that this was definitely not a dream. It's like they came straight out of a freakin' action packed movie." Isis whispered. She knew self defense but it was nothing like that.

As she was watching their little brawl she was surprised they didn't wake up with a hangover of any kind. She then heard Leon call out to her, "Woman who's name I don't know, I need you to save the eggs. Lower the heat, add the spices there, and a little oil." She hesitated and then realized, Oh he's talking to me, duh! She jumped up and followed his instructions exactly and she even decided to add some parsley flakes. She use to work in restaurants as a chef for a little while so she knew what she was doing, though she didn't really like to cook. She opened up a cupboard and found a large plate. Taking the pan she swiftly moves the eggs from the pan to the plate and begins to wash the pan with soap and water as Leon begins ends the fight.

The other guy, the one that was passed out last night was now on the floor. She turns with the plate in her hands and watches Leon rise from the ground slowly. He was shirtless, and attractive, really attractive. What's this guys deal? Is he supposed to be a male model? He's so fuckin' hot. Her face blushed slightly and she cleared her throat when Leon asked her "So . . . . . How you doing?" He acted as though all that fighting had been completely normal. Isis giggled "I'm fine. How you doin'?" She smirked. "I saved the eggs. Oh and I hope you don't mind I added some parsley." She gave him a 'yeah-I-know-I-probably-wasn't-supposed-to-do-anything-to-the-food-but-I-did-anyways' look. Handing him the plate she stepped over his friend and wondered if he'd be okay. "I'm assuming it's a regular this that guys do. Oh yeah, thank you for the bed Mr. uh? Oh yeah, what is your name?" She chuckled rubbing the back of her head.

Leon smiled when the woman handled the situation surprisingly well, the last time this happened his guest fainted. He walked over and pressed down the french press pushing the grounds to the bottom. He grabbed three coffee cups and filled each. He put one cube of sugar into one cup, then he walked it over to VII and put it on the ground beside him. A hand quickly shot out to grab the cup. " I just didn't want to embarrass you in front of your girlfriend," VII said as he pulled himself up and onto the sofa. " Of course you didn't," Leon said as he walked the other cup over to the woman.

"Thanks for saving the eggs but, you missed one thing," Leon said as he clapped his hands twice causing music to fill the room. Leon looked at the woman who was standing in his kitchen. She was shorter than him with black hair, full lips, and eyes that could freeze your soul. Leon was drawn to those eyes, he had seen eyes like that once before but, he could not remember from where. Leon snapped himself back to reality when he realized he was intensely staring at the woman as if she was a mission target. "I really need to stop staring," Leon thought.

"It's fine that you added parsley," Leon said as he gave the woman the cup of coffee he poured " Half the fun of cooking is adding random stuff and seeing if it works. To answer your question, my name is Leon and the guy over there is my brother David. Also, no, fighting in the morning is not something regular guys do, it's what my family does." Leon walked over to the the woman and took a bite out of the eggs she was holding. " Good job," Leon said with a smile. " Sit wherever you want, think of yourself as family..... what is your name?"

"Like what you see?" Isis said in a cold but playfully sarcastic way. Smiling at the choice of music she chuckles at his approval of the added ingredient. "Glad you approve." She sat down in the seat nearest the window which had a great view of the sun glittering over the buildings and a nice view of his home and his paintings. "So," she takes a sip, "Mmm, you and your brother, David, hi nice to meet you, how you doin', spar, cool." It was as though she captured two things at once. "Leon, huh, I like it." Be careful Isis. She slightly nodded, "Nice to meet you, people call me Ice, but my real name is Isis."

She scanned Leon, not as intensely as he did her, but well enough to take him in. His jaw was intense, his hair made you want to run your fingers through it and pull; his eyes made you melt like cinnamon butter. Oh he was so dazzling. His frame, perfectly balanced. He had the type of arms one simply wanted to be wrapped inside of and his core was of pure joy. But nothing gripped her attention like his lips. If only lust weren't a deadly sin. She chuckled to herself. "I have never seen you two at the bar before. Sorry it's a dump and it's not much of a tavern but it pays the bills. Judging by all the masterpieces you have in here, I'm guessing you're an artist? Oh and is David your model?" She laughed lightly realizing she didn't really know Leon that well and shouldn't be making these kinds of jokes. "Sorry." She apologized and then sipped her coffee.

Leon cracked a grin at the David is your model comment. "Alright I can play your games," Leon thought " I was trained to play these games." Leon walked up to Isis and ran his hand through her hair holding his hand on the side of her neck. He then leaned in close and slightly pulled back her head so their eyes met. " Are you jealous," Leon said softly leaning in even close so his mouth was next to her ear " Don't worry your more my type anyway. You can be my personal model tonight if you want. I would love to see the bare you on canvas." Leon then gently released her from his hold and took a drink of her coffee. "Delicious," Leon said softly maintaining eye contact.

"Woo," VII yelled from the sofa adding a whistle " That's hot, I love it, give me more. He's a bum artist though, who lives in a flat, you can do better. He doesn't deserve you." VII rested his head on his hand and looked to see how this would unfold with a smile, sipping his coffee periodically. Leon walked over to the sofa and motion for Isis to follow him. "We will just eat off the same plate," Leon stated as he grabbed three forks. He sat down and handed a fork to VII, he then patted his lap and gave Isis a "you can sit here look".

"I don't have a TV so we will have to just enjoy the music and each others company," Leon said. " Since we are learning about each other I will tell you about David and my family. David is a model, he has done some shoots for many magazines and is one of the top ten most attractive men in the country. So he is not my model though, he says I'm not good enough to capture the true beauty of his image, he's a real drama queen." "VII spit out some of his coffee after hearing the comment. "O so that's how you want to play this," VII said " So Ice what do you want to know about Leon since we are sharing such personal details." Leon shot VII a glare that said " Don't you dare." VII just smiled and returned his glared with a look of his own that said " Yea you started this and I will finish it."

Suddenly Leon walked up towards Isis and ran his hand through her hair and held her neck pulling slightly so their eyes met. He asked her if she was jealous and before she could say something sarcastic he leaned close to her ear. Her heartbeat pounded and her body shivered. Bare me, oh wow . . . He's unreal.

"Model huh." She smirked as he let her go. "Delicious indeed." Licking her lips she heard a whistle and heard David's remark. "Oh that's right, you're still here, oops." She winked and stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh I can be hotter and you're probably right David, I can do better." No you can't! "Plus I wouldn't want to get in the way of your guy love." She blew him a kiss. Isis was famous for being a smart ass and too much of a sarcastic person.

Leon took his seat and she took a fork. "Yum." She praises taking a bite of the eggs and notices Leon patting his lap. "Aw, aren't you the gentlemen." She smiled gently sitting on his lap. He was oddly comfortable, it did help that she was tiny.

"I don't have a television either. I don't care for it. I adore music but rarely ever, actually I've never had company." She grinned knowing that that sounded slightly pathetic.

She listened as Leon revealed a little bit about his brother. "Famous huh? Top Ten? I'll believe when I see it." There she went again being a smart ass. It's true they were both handsome, but she was needless to say a bitch with a soft side. Then the boys seemed as though they would start fighting again. She had to act quickly.

"It's nice you two have one another. I'm an only child. It's just me and my mother. Well, honestly, it's just been me. I don't even know if mom is still alive." She gazed into her coffee cup a little serious for the moment. "I wouldn't be surprised if she drank herself to death." Isis then felt the depressing mood set in. She perked up and began laughing. "So yeah that's boring me. Ya know, I don't work tonight and I honestly don't mind being a model if you need or would like new and fresh inspiration." She laughed nervously, Isis hated thinking about her family, so she tried never to do so.

Leon was surprised when she actually came and sat on his lap. "Wow she's bold, very bold" Leon thought " Man she smells nice too. Stop beating so hard heart, I will stop you myself." Even though he was raging on the inside he managed to keep himself calm on the outside. He wasn't sure how to feel about the guy love comment though. "Hey it's more than guy love," Leon responded " It's sibling guy love, it's more pure that way." VII just shook his head in disbelief at what Leon was saying. " I can't believe you can say stuff like that with a strait face," VII said head down still shaking.

Leon listen as Isis talked about herself in an attempt to diffuse the tense atmosphere. She was quick to provide snappy remarks but, her words quickly took a turn for the worst when she started talking about her mother. Leon listened intently as the woman spoke. He enjoyed how real the girl was. When he talk to most women, whether it was on a mission or when they approached him on the streets, they all seemed so fake to him. They would do everything possible make themselves seem like the perfect world image of a woman instead of being themselves, and Leon didn't like that. His entire life is built around lies so it was nice for someone one other than his family to be so truthful. After Isis finished speaking Leon held her head and touched his forehead to hers. This was something his sister use to do for him when he was having trouble holding on. Just the simple contact was enough to let him know everything was alright. " Everything will be alright," Leon thought as he held Isis " Everything will be fine."

Leon let her go and gave her a smile. " You are one of the best stranger I have let into my house," Leon said with a pleasant sigh " Alright I will tell you about my family so you don't fell so alone. I have twelve other siblings, David included, we were all adopted. We all came from different tragic walks of life, I for example was kidnapped and left on an island where where kids just like me fought to the death. David became a child solider overseas during the raging sands genocide, with around four hundred confirmed kills. Every single one of my siblings has a similar story. So really, we would all love your boring life. If you ever want someone to talk to we are available, it's good to know someone can relate."

" On a happier note," Leon said " I finished my grading so I am free as well, and I would love to have you as my model. Also don't worry you only have to get naked if you want to, modeling is not at all like how they make it out on TV or in movies." VII got up and grabbed a glass container from off of the fridge as well as a magazine and came back to the sofa. " Here take a cookie," VII said " You guys are really depressing and you talk to much Leon. " David handed Isis the magazine he grabbed. It was the latest volume of Fashion magazine and on the front was a picture of David and some french woman. " Believe it," David said with a smirk " The article with the ranking is somewhere in there as well."

Isis smiled as she felt Leon's warmth on her forehead. She didn't realize how independent she had become or how distant.

She enjoyed listening to his voice. She wished that she didn't have to ever leave. How many times does this happen? Two strangers meet and well they're both fascinating. Wait did he say twelve siblings, oh all adopted, wow. As he went on Isis felt stupid for opening her mouth about her silly privileged life.

"Finished grading? Oh right. Haha I'm not shy." She did confidently taking a cookie from David. "Yum, thank you, I adore cookies." Isis was telling the truth she wasn't shy. She knew the difference between art and perversion. She wanted an adventure so bad she didn't even know it. She adored Leon, but she didn't even know him. Isis of course didn't care. She could handle herself, then again she did need Leon to save her. Her thoughts are interrupted by a magazine. "Claudia?" She whispered looking at the magazine's cover. Isis skimmed the article and then looked at David. "Alright, I believe it." She smiled a cocky smile. She couldn't believe that he was on the cover next to Claudia Tonèr. She was the daughter of the powerful Tonèr Mafia. I wonder if he knows that girl is trouble.

She ruffled Leon's hair and then stood up to get a good stretch in. "Okay, so let me use your bathroom and I'll do your dishes as a thanks for letting me stay here? Yeah? Yeah." She cooed.

Leon let out a smile when he heard Isis mention the name of the woman on the magazine. " Hum, so that's her name," Leon said " Good now I know what to call her the next time she comes back." Leon absorbed her words about not being shy. Some artists could separate themselves from their urges and desires while they worked, Leon was not one of these people. Every time he would have a nude model in front of him all he could think about was the girl. The sad part for Leon was his thoughts were only sexual around half the time. He mainly just wondered about what path of life bought the girl here, and why she chose to do this. It would always bring him around to thinking about his sisters and some of their struggles. Luckily his thoughts tended to lead to good pieces regardless of whether or not he was distracted.

A grin crossed Leon face when Isis played with his hair. " Someone is already acting like family," Leon said " Don't worry we will have you fighting in no time. Yea go ahead and take a bath I will take one after you. There should be women's stuff in there and if you need a change of clothes there should be some in the closet. Your family just make yourself at home." Leon's loft tended to be the getaway spot for most of his siblings, including his sisters, so most of them left clothes and supplies here. When Isis got up and stretched Leon and VII got up and started to clean up. "We got this just enjoy yourself," Leon said smiling. " And take some picture while your in there, you know, for science."

When Leon made it to the kitchen they got to work cleaning, one washing the other drying. " You bring too many strangers home," VII told Leon " But she is super hot and she can mix drinks, so I will let this one slide, If she could kill I would say marry her." "It's good to know I have your approval," Leon said handing a dish to VII " Not that it's important." "Hey, your big bro has to approve of any girls you might try to bring in to the family," VII said " She has baggage so that's a plus. Also as your older brother I must let you know, because your freakishly dense, she wants you bad."

VII and Leon finished the dishes and VII received a text. " I need to head out, father has something he needs me to do," VII said " I am keeping my car, I have had too many successful missions in it to give it up. You wouldn't want it anyway under black light my car will probably look like an episode of CSI. When you have free time I will take you to get a new car to replace your other one I destroyed. As I take my leave I will say one last thing. If you don't end up sleeping with her, I will disown you. No brother of mine would ever spoil such an opportunity." As VII closed the door and made his way down the stairs he yelled " No brother of mine" one last time.

Leon let out a sigh. " Man he is a handful but, alright, I'll see what I can do," Leon said " Don't want to get disowned, I like my family."

Isis punched Leon's arm. "Oh yeah sure, science." She said in air quotes. "Because the female anatomy is so interesting." She said slapping her hip. She went into the bathroom and started the water. She took off her tank top, spanks and underwear. Stepping in she saw different types of body washes and shampoos, even conditioner for women. Thank goodness he has so many female visitors. She thought to herself. Laughing silently she felt the water rush unto her body and loved the tickle of it. She let out a little moan for how great the warmth felt on her skin and then she quickly placed her hand over her mouth hoping they didn't heart a thing. Lathering up, she gently cleansed everything. Her hair always became heavier when it got wet. Isis ran her fingers through her hair and it was like tight silk. Her skin was like snow but velvet to touch. She was lucky that her hair didn't really grow anywhere else but her head, eyebrows, and eyelashes. Shutting the water off, she steps out, rings her hair and smooths it out.

Wrapping the towel around herself, she opens the door and notices there's one missing. "Aw did David leave? Well bye David." She giggled. She saw Leon's eyes on her. "Yes I realize I'm in a towel and wet, you got a problem with that?" She teased sticking her tongue out. "Don't worry I'll just change into my work clothes and head home to change." Smiling she takes the wad of clothing she had in her hands and sticks in her backpack. Grabbing her work uniform she hears her phone buzz. It's Mace . . . Damn. That's not good. She quickly texts back and looks at Leon with a big smile. "Aren't you gonna shower instead of stand there with that look?" She asked him as she neared him and put her hand over his face in a playful way. "Thanks by the way. Have I said that yet?" She smiles to herself rubbing the back of her head once more. She looks at her work clothes in her hand and remembers, "Oh yeah I should change. Duh. Don't want to stay in this towel all day. Haha." She looks at him with her blue eyes and then turns around but pauses. "Don't worry I won't do anything while you're showering." She chuckles.

Leon turned around at the sound of Isis' voice. He was not sure what he was expecting but, it was not what he saw. " God," Leon said to himself " I wasn't sure if you were real but, you really are the best." Leon wasn't really hearing what she was saying. He was completely focused on the woman in front of him. " I've had models in my house before, " Leon though " What is wrong with me. Focus, you idiot, don't ruin this."

Leon snapped back into focus when she stopped talking. " Yea of course," Leon said " Shower, yea I'll take one of those." Leon then walked away shaking his head. "I can charm targets to their death but I can't talk to a girl from a bar," Leon said " What is wrong with me." Leon cranked on the shower, took off what little clothes he had on, and jumped in. His shower was different from normal showers, his rained water down from above like a waterfall. He liked this because he could use it for meditation since there tend to be no normal or heat controlled waterfalls around.

Leon sat down cross legged under the cascade of water. He relaxed and breathed, calming himself slowly. " Alright now let's think about what what is wrong with me right now," Leon said to himself. " She is attractive, but that's never been a problem before. She isn't overly smart and she doesn't seem to have a talent I'm drawn too, so that's not it. She is upbeat and bold, but I deal with that all the time with my family. So what is it, that makes her special, why do I care?" Leon sat under the water searching his mind for answers, then a though came to him. " Could it be because she's broken, " Leon wondered " Maybe I am drawn to people who have lived through hard times like I have. It makes sense. I'm drawn to her because she is like my family, messed up but still trying to make something out of her life." Leon smiled at his realization. " Man I'm messed up if this is what I'm drawn to." Leon thought.

With a new sense of understanding he finished his shower with the same enjoyment and pleasure as any normal shower he would take. He dried himself off and threw on a pair of jeans. He he gave Isis a playful frown. " Sad," Leon said " You didn't come do anything in the shower, I was looking foreword to it."

"Hello? Yeah Mace, what's the matter?" Isis asked over the phone as she finished clipping her bra into place. She slipped on her lace underwear when her breath left her. "What do you mean? But how? Who? Why-Oh forget it. Yeah I'll swing by the hospital soon. See ya." Isis hangs up the phone and leans her weight on his couch. Holding her head she concentrates on breathing. "So what now?"

Suddenly her phone rings again spooking her. "Hello? Oh hi Boss. Wha? No I can't come in today it's my day off. But I- Alright whatever." She hung the phone up, threw it across the room and laid out on his love seat. She heard the phone crack but she didn't care. At that moment Leon came out and frowned, "Sad. You didn't come do anything in the shower, I was looking forward to it." She was still in her bra and her underwear. She quickly assumed a smiling composition. "We've just met I couldn't do anything naughty just yet. Haha!" Her hair was spread out, her skin shimmered, she smelled lovely; she was desirable, but her ice eyes spelled distress even though her tone spelled out sarcasm.

As Leon listened to Isis he observed her. It was a habit he had developed when dealing with people on the job. After Isis finished talking he walked up to her and put his hand on the side of her neck and looked into her eyes. " Heart rate is above average and pupils have slight narrowing," Leon said to himself methodically " Rapid eye movement and tensing of the neck." Leon released her from his grasp and stepped back.

Leon was trained in different arts of interrogation and information collection. He has been doing it so long that sometimes he would just do it without thinking. The signs that Isis was displaying were classic signs of distress and fear. " Judging from the gradual slowing of her heart rate she must have received the moments before I came in," Leon thought. He then looked her up and down. At the moment he bypassed the fact she was alluring and almost naked and focused on what he could learn. After getting distracted by her lips and thighs his eyes finally made their way to the phone in her hand. " Good," Leon though " So the cause was a message she received on the phone. She doesn't have a connection with her family so that's not it, it must be a friend or....." Leon stopped himself mid thought. "What am I doing," he said to himself " There is a much easier way."

Leon brought his attention away from his thoughts and back to to Isis. He gave her a friendly smile to try to calm her. "So would you like to tell me what's wrong?" Leon asked with a caring smile " It seems as though something may have happened, while I was gone."

Isis slowly stood up and looked at Leon. I can't involve him in my stupid life. But I won't lie to him. She exhaled and grabbed her uniform. "There's been an accident." She said plainly, while she buttoned her shirt and slid her skirt on. "A possibility of becoming an orphan." She grabbed her things and placed her coat on. "Wouldn't that be funny. I was just talking about my mother earlier." She smiled, though it was painful it was a sincere smile. "Plus I was called in to work today. It just keeps getting better. I don't know how Mace found out about my mother, but she is at the hospital. She said my mother told her about someone in the house and them saying that they were finishing the job they were meant to finish. So long story short, someone tried to kill my mother." She placed her phone and bits of it into her coat pocket and then inhaled deeply. Looking over at Leon she smiles.

"Thank you for you kindness and your hospitality and rescuing me from that man." She neared him. "I won't be able to repay you," she stroked the side of his face, "And I'll have to take a rain check on that modeling gig. I'll see you around." She grinned ruffling his wet hair this time. "If you need anything you can give me a call. Here." She grabbed some paper and a pen and wrote her cell, home, and work numbers on it. "I may not have awesome skills and moves like you and David, but I can at least handle pesky women." She winked. Her phone was cracked when she saw she had another text. It was from Mace again, They're here. The men. They're here and they're looking for you, don't come. She quickly hid the phone and away, and she playfully punched his shoulder once more. "I'll see ya, Leon." She smiled heading to the exit.

Leon took in all the information Isis told him. He thought about the attack. Something did not sit right with him. Someone tried to kill her mother to finish a job. From Leon's understanding of Isis' mother a man should have be able to easily kill her, let alone a group of men. The though of her escape filed through Leon's head. He thought about this as if he was the killer. " What would make me fail to kill an easy target," Leon though. The answer came to him. Nothing." If those men wanted her dead, she would be dead, so there must be another reason," Why would I let a target live," Leon though the answer quickly coming " There is another target, someone close to the original who may normally be hard to draw out." Leon looked up from his thought and found his answer. " Maybe her daughter," Leon said to himself.

Leon liked that she was putting on a happy front for him, it proved her inner strength, but the fact she even put up a front was proof enough that she was not ready for what might happen when she visits he mom. Leon took the paper she gave him looked at the numbers and memorized them before flipping the paper over and writing his number on it. He stopped her before she left, handed the paper back to Isis, and said " I may not be able to deal with pesky women but, I do have awesome skills and moves that can take down killers and rapists. If you need me call and I will be there I promise. Also there is two things I need to tell you. The first one is fuck your work they are not important right now. The second thing is I don't think you should go, if I had to guess, I think the guys might be after you. In a better situation it could be some other person who would visit your mother but, you the most likely guess."

"I have to go, she's my mom." She said in a dead tone, but quickly lifted her spirits. "Of course they're after me." She smirked. Turning around she smiled, "I'm a doll. Who wouldn't be after my hand in marriage." She was quick to make jokes, but she knew how serious this situation was. "Alright. I will put this number in my phone now." She did and then let herself out. "See ya later?" She winked and then shut the door.

The air outside was freezing and she could barely breathe in it. She used to run Cross Country in high school so she put her skills to use. Bolting through the snow it took a good thirty minutes to get to her place. She rammed herself into the door and changed into her black skinny jeans, purple tank top and black mid-torso jacket. Grabbing her wallet, keys, and phone she places on a black pair of Keds and heads out the door to hospital.

It was freezing, the time was two in the afternoon. She knew that she may not make it to work, or make it at all in this case. She was prepared to fight, but she didn't want to. "Yes, I'm scared, yes, I know that I may die, no, I will not involve him." She had this quirk where she would talk to herself out loud when she was anxious. In no time she reached the hospital.

Entering it she asked the nurse about a Colette Amethyst. Once she was given a room number she dashed towards it. Blasting the door open she let out a gasp, "Mom!" Mace was in one corner of the room, the curtain was shut.

"What are you doing here!?" Mace scolded. She grabbed Isis by the ear and sat her down on the couch. "You moron. I've been working so hard trying to hide your mother from those men. I told you not to come here."

"You didn't honestly think I was going to listen to you, did you?" Isis asked her with a sarcastic face as she stood to remove the curtain.

"Don't." Mace ordered. It was a stern voice. One that Isis never heard before.

"Why not? She's my mom, if she's dying I want to see her one last time." Isis said coldly, she was no longer playing games. She stared Mace down, her short gingerbread hair, her hazel eyes, and her ivory skin, something was off with her. She didn't like where this was going. Pulling the curtain aside she saw her mother. She was beaten half to death and her heart was obviously failing.

"Isis . . ."

"Mom, I'm right here, I'm sorry."

"Shh, listen, I don't have much time, I love you very much dear, and I'm sorry for not being there when you needed me most, now there are people looking for you and you have to steer clear of D-" suddenly Colette was shot dead. Her blood was on Isis' face and Isis looked up to see Mace holding a gun at her mother.

"What did you do?!" Suddenly Mace pointed the gun at Isis.

"I'm sorry it ends like this Ice." Isis heard the click and she ducked quickly tripping Mace onto the ground and gun out of her hand. Mace hit her head on the edge of the bench and Isis hopped over the bed, when the men entered.

There were four of them and they all had guns. She observed her situation and she gripped the bar of the hospital bed tightly. Weighing her options she knew she had to run. She couldn't kill them, but she could at least give herself a head start. As she firmly gripped the bar she lifted herself high and kicked the two men in the middle hard and they fell to the ground. She then saw the men that were on either side, point their guns at her. Her legs still in the air, she linked them over both their elbows and brought them both down, hard onto the ground. She then swung herself landing by the door. The men were disoriented, so she made a run for it, grabbing the knob, she flees the scene. Staying there would mean an innocent bystander coming in and getting hurt. As she neared the doors she felt a bullet go through her right side. Gritting her teeth she kept going.

She was probably a good three blocks from her work when she couldn't anymore. She had lost too much blood. Her side was soaked and her vision blurred. "I need him. . . Darn it all." She took out her cell and texted Leon one word. Help. Isis then collapsed in the snow. She heard the men, they were close by and then she heard one of them say, "Hey Boss, she's over here. Is she dead?"

"Looks like it." Another guy said.

"No she's not dead. But she will be. You police stink at your job. How hard was it to shoot her? Do I have to do everything by myself!" That voice, she knew it, it was Mace. Is this the way she would die? She heard Mace reloading the gun in her hand and cocking. "Seriously messing with the Russian Maffia and you idiots can't get things right. Now like I said before, I'm sorry it ends like this Ice. But consider yourself lucky. You'll be killed by the daughter of the famous Russian Mob, Maya Grebenshchikov. Heh, sweet dreams."

"Just shut up and pull the trigger already . . . Mace." Isis spit out with the last little bit of strength she had left.

"As you wish." Mace chuckled as she pressed the trigger.

When Isis left his loft Leon just stood there amazed. "She has a death wish," Leon said. Leon then started think again. "I could be wrong," Leon though " Maybe the guys aren't after her. Really what does she have to offer? She is attractive but, other than that she is a normal average person who has had an unlucky past." Leon then heard the voice of his father in his head. "Never doubt yourself," His father said " Your mind can put things together before you yourself realize it. Trust your instincts, you know the answer even when you don't think you do." Out of all the things his father had told him, those words were the most confusing thing that happened to make perfect sense to him. Leon had lived his childhood on and island where hesitation meant death. The meaning of of his father words was carved into his being, they were why he still lived. Leon cursed to himself before saying " I hate being right all the time."

Leon reached under his bed and pulled a large briefcase. He opened it on his bed reveling its content, a broken down sniper rifle and two long barreled pistols. Leon grabbed a ear piece off of his night stand near his bed. " Call III," Leon said as he started to put the gun together to check the weapon. " What do you want XIII," a woman asked " I'm swamped with cases here, I'm talking double homicides, serial killers, and rapist." "Good," Leon responded " If you help me I can make sure you have one less to deal with." There was silence for a moment, which was then replaced with a tired sigh. "Alright what do you want," III asked? "I need you to track a phone for me," Leon said giving Isis' number moments after " This woman's mother was attacked and I think she is about to walk to her death." "Alight give me a sec I will get one of the boys here to run a trace," III said " Also, why did you not stop this woman?" "I tried, not everyone is like us," Leon responded " Most people panic and make dumb decisions." III let out a laugh before speaking " Yea I guess that's true. Alright I had the track sent to your phone like normal. Don't die, your the only little brother I like." "Love you too sis," Leon said " Go catch some bad guys I'll make sure you don't have to deal with these guys."

Leon went to his closet to get dressed. He kept an eye on Isis' position as he did. " Man this girl moves," Leon stated as he put on his gun holsters, shirt and jacket. He put his pistols into the holster, which held the guns in position behind his back, and covered them with his long shirt and jacket. It wasn't how he liked to have his guns but he needed to keep things hidden. He broke back down his sniper rifle and put them in a long baseball bat carrying bag. He threw that over his shoulder and headed out. Once he got outside he checked his phone and saw she was leaving the hospital. " I guess I was wrong," Leon said with a sigh of relief in the cold air " I wish I was wrong a lot more, I guess once in every hundred isn't too bad. I guess I will go surprise her with a ride and see how she is doing." Leon hopped on his motorcycle, he normally wouldn't ride in the cold, because he hated the cold and high speeds made it worse, but it was the only set of wheels he had and he wanted to cover ground quickly.

Leon started to think again. "Cover ground quickly," Leon said as he thought about what was going on. "I checked her position before I left and she was just getting into the hospital, why is she already gone? That's way to short of a time to be with your mother that may be dying or dead." "Damn," Leon yelled as he kicked his bike into action and shot off down the street. " She's getting chased," Leon thought as he raced down the snowy streets. As Leon was making his way his fears were realized when he received a text. " Don't be her, don't be her, don't be her," Leon repeated and he pulled out his phone to check. On his phone's screen was a single word, help. Leon cursed again as he noticed that her movement stopped." If she stopped she may have been cut off by the enemy," Leon thought " I don't have time to make it to her on my bike." Leon scanned his surrounding, the words of his father playing in his head " Remove the threat as soon as possible, the fastest option is the best option. If there is an action you can make quickly, take the action, rely on your skill to make a risk a success." Leon saw what he was looking for, it was a tall building with a fire escape on the side.

He rode his bike to the ladder that was still pulled up. He vaulted off the bike and gabbed hold of the bottom of the stairs pulling himself up and over as his bike rode a little farther before falling over. He deftly leaped the stairs until he had made it to the top, this was all done within thirty seconds. "This building should have a line of sight to Isis,' Leon said as he rapidly put together his sniper rifle. Within seconds he had it together and up to his eye searching the area for Isis. When Leon found her she was on the ground bleeding with a woman and four men standing around her. "I need something to tell me the wind," Leon said a he looking around " This shot is too far out." Leon choked down panic remembering his fathers words once again. " Never panic the dead and the weak panic. In the time where the normal panic, we find peace, and then we find the answer." Leon calmed himself. His father was right, especially when it came to shooting a rifle from extremely long distances, panic causes mistakes. As Leon reined himself in he saw his answer. One of the men was wearing a scarf that blew casually in the wind. "I am starting to love the cold," Leon said with a smile. He watched the woman start to pull to shoot her gun. "To slow," Leon said. He then fired and before the woman could pull the trigger, she dropped Leon's shot finding her skull causing her grip on the trigger releasing on death . The men around her tried to react but by the time they started to figure out what was going on Leon had fired four more shots, dropping them in succession in the same fashion as the woman.

"Targets eliminated," Leon said as he broke down his gun and put it away " Acquiring mission objective."" Call Police," Leon said as he swiftly made his was back down the fire escape. " Police how can I help you," a woman responded. " Yes, " Leon said with a falsified panicked voice " There has been a shooting a woman seems to have been shot and others might be dead, it looks like a man just got there and is helping the woman but you must hurry please, they are on.....West Charles and York." When he got back on his bike and jolted down the street he saw people from the building he had shot from outside looking for the source of the disturbance. "We will have an ambulance and the police there in a moment," the woman said." Can you give me..." Leon canceled the call so he could focus on getting to Isis now that his alibi was in place.

He made it there in under three minutes. He looked her over to see what her injury was. She was shot, but luckily the bullet had gone through her instead of getting stuck inside, or worse shattering after hitting dense bone. " Try not to talk and don't move," Leon said firmly. He remove Isis' jacket and shirt so he could better see the wound. " I know it's cold," Leon said as he pulled off his coat and shirt, making sure to keep his back to her so she wouldn't see the guns. " Deal with it." The wound wasn't too dirty the main problem was the loss of blood. Leon ripped her shirt until it was one long strip, he then did the same with his shirt leaving two extra pieces. He lifted her so he could place the extra pieces of cloth over her wound and then quickly bandaged them in place with the strips of shirt, tightening them to put pressure on the injury. He swiftly put her coat back on her and his as well for extra warmth. He deftly put his guns into the bag with his sniper rifle so they wouldn't be seen by Isis or the authorities when they got here. " I'm not going to say I told you so, I have a more important question" Leon said as he held her " What in the world happened? I get a text for help and I find you shot and dead bodies around you." As he waited for and answer he heard sirens in the distance. "Good help is on the way," Leon said with a smile " But really what happened?"
