Love Overcomes All Boundaries.

The Black Reaper

New Member
A young man, seventeen years of age, who went by the name Kazuma Yagami, lie sprawled out on his bed, the covers all over the place and a bit of drool leaking from his mouth as he snored away. Sunlight peeked through his window, shining on his face, though not for long, as the light almost woke him, his closed eyes threatening to open. Moaning in irritation, he tossed around in his sleep, pulling his blanket up and over his head while doing so, trying to block out the light with the fabric. It worked to a certain degree, though he shouldn't have bothered with trying to get any further sleep, as only moments later there was a loud and incessant banging at his door.

Moaning once more, he muttered almost pathetically, "Go away." Doing his best to keep from opening his eyes all the while.

The banging only got louder, a female voice being heard over it as she semi-shouted, "Wake up dork! It's almost time for school!"

Groaning in disappointment as well as annoyance, he opened his eyes, threw the covers off of himself and began climbing out of the bed to his feet. "Fine."

Apparently, the girl didn't hear that. "Did you hear me!? I said get up!"

Scowling, he kicked his blanket out of the way, the thing having fallen off his bed when he got up, before responding, "I heard you already, I'm awake alright!?"

The girl could be heard scoffing from outside the room, possibly a whatever coming out of her mouth as well, before the sound of her footsteps told of her leaving.

Yawning as he scratched the back of his head, he turned to his body length mirror, his bleary eyes barely able to make out his reflection staring back at him. He didn't bother to move from where he stood, as he debated over whether or not to ditch school today.

He wasn't one for breaking the rules really, but he found he just didn't care, as he knew what awaited him at school. Ridicule, scorn, mockery, laughter. Why? There was a list of reasons...

He had no luck with the ladies, which made him a loser.

He actually paid attention in class and did his work, that made him a geek.

He loved anime, manga and video games, that made him a nerd.

He actually enjoyed to read, and writing was his passion, that made him a boring bookworm.

He wasn't afraid to let the few friends he had know he much he loved them, and how much he appreciated them, that made him a wuss.

He hugged his guy friends, that made him gay.

He enjoyed the darker side of entertainment, no matter whether it was music, books, television or gaming, that made him a freak.

He had a thing for romance, that made him a pussy.

He didn't fight back when he was made fun of and picked on, that made him a bitch.

He was, of course, still a virgin, that made him a failure as a man.

He was Kazuma Yagami, and that made him the most hated person at his school.

That's when he let his eyes leave his reflection and wander around his room, his mind still jumbled up with thoughts. It was an honest little space, a bed just big enough for him, a small closet, one window with a pair of black curtains hanging, and a desk with a computer set up, a rolling chair to go along with it.

Suddenly remembering that if he didn't hurry up and get down stairs, being on the second floor, that he'd miss out on breakfast, he broke himself from the trance and made his way over to the closet, forgetting all about ditching as he did. Grabbing whatever was in sight, said first spotted clothing being a pair of blue jeans and a long sleeved white shirt, he closed the closet door and began to get dressed.

In the middle of doing so though, a little ping was heard from his desktop, and he stumbled over to check what it was about, doing so with his pants only halfway up, and one of his arms sticking out of his neck hole for his shirt. He straightened up his shirt, and began to pull up his pants, moving his mouse and lighting up the screen on his monitor as he did, after falling into his chair of course. While doing this, he muttered to himself, "Can't believe I forgot to turn the damn computer off again, how stupid can you be Kazuma? Do you want it to overheat?"

Immediately spotting what had made the noise, he clicked on it, opening his new e-mail. "Who the hell would send me a message this early in the morning?" He asked quietly to himself.

Upon reading the heading, and who it was from, his heart sped up, but not in a good way. It was from his best friend Kyo, and the heading read 'URGENT!'

Not wasting anymore time, he began to read it.

Kazuma, this is awful! I don't know who, but someone somehow managed to find out about your little secret! You know that virtual girlfriend of yours? Yeah, videos of you and her chatting, they've been posted all over the internet! I'm talking Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Google Plus, dude they even posted it to fucking MySpace, no one even uses MySpace anymore!

You'd best keep your head low and stay home, if not for the rest of your life, which is really the best option at this point, then at least for today. Otherwise...they're gonna tear you apart at school man, you know that.

I'm sorry, this is all I can do for you buddy, just stay out of dodge, alright?

Kazuma's eyes were wide, filled with a mix of emotions, his jaw was near reaching the floor, agape in horror, and beads of sweat began to form and roll down his forehead. He was utterly speechless, no idea what to do now that everyone at school knew about his little secret. He'd be torn apart, and then his remains would be pecked at and dragged off by the weaker vultures of his school. He was fucked, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

As he pulled up his browser, and searched for the video, he wondered, "Who could have possibly done this!? I don't let anyone into my room, no one! EVER! Even Kyo has only been in here a few times, and there isn't a single person I trust more!"

The video began playing, showing his head in a screen next to a virtual girl, who, unlike him, could be seen in entirety. The fact that it was formatted like this, with her being on one side of the screen, and his face and sometimes the rest of him on the other side, told him that whoever did this used his computer to do it. As when talking to her, her name being Ariel, his computer turned on the camera built into his monitor, so she could 'see him', as he had tweaked it to. He did this, as it allowed her to track him and react to his movements.

Ariel was a product of several software programs, hardware upgrades, maybe an illegal site or two, as well as a bit of meddling on his part...okay a lot of meddling, a lot of meddling in the form of tweaking and doing a few things he probably shouldn't have. In doing all of this, Kazuma managed to create his own personal VI, which honestly bordered on the line of being an AI, and he took it a step further, giving it a form as well as a name.

He had created her exactly four years ago, the day of his thirteenth birthday, using all the resources at his disposal to do so. He was a genius in his own right for doing such a thing, he had a lot of help however. He had studied under his mom's brother, who had been possibly the biggest technical wiz in the world, before he passed away a few days after his nephew's thirteenth birthday. From his tutelage under him, as well as research on the matter online, and all the software and hardware he purchased, getting the money for this from Kyo, his mother, his saved up cash from previous birthdays, and doing a bunch of little side jobs that kids his age could have handled, such as raking yards, taking dogs for walks and babysitting, he was able to create Ariel.

It took a lot of work, but it really paid off in the end. When he had no one to talk to, Ariel was there to listen, when he had a bad day, Ariel was there to cheer him up, when he was depressed, Ariel was there to help him cope, when he was lonely, Ariel was there to keep him company, Ariel was always there, even when no one else could be or wanted to be.

Ariel was also there when his...uhm, hormones, got the best of him, but that was a different matter entirely. And thankfully none of those sessions had been uploaded.

All the other ones had however. When he talked to her about depression, when he talked to her about thinking of hurting himself, when he talked to her about girls, when he talked to her about sex, when he talked to her about relationships, when he talked to her about love, all of them posted for the world to see.

"But who could have done this!? No one has been in my room for over a week! When could anyone have possibly-" Kazuma was cut off then, as a new window opened, completely unbidden, revealing a white background and the same girl he had just been watching a video of.

As Ariel saw Kazuma, she smiled. "Good morning, Kazuma. How was your dreams?" She continued to watch his frantic movements. "Late for school again?" She cocked her head slightly and blinked her eyes three times fast.

Noticing Ariel appear on screen, Kazuma couldn't help but sigh, before leaning back in his chair, thinking over whether to tell her what had happened or not. After a moment though, he had already decided. "My dreams last night were just fine, thank you for asking Ariel. And yeah, I'm late again, but...that's probably a good thing today. Heck, I might just skip school altogether, it'd certainly spare me a lot of flak, that's for sure."

Sighing once more, the teen continued to speak aloud, "Then again, I'll just have to deal with it the next day anyway. Man...today sucks so frickin much!"

Her eye brows turned up in confusion and sympathy. "But, you've only just woken up. How can your day be bad already? You also seem to have a lot of notifications coming in from several different websites." Her eyes wandered around the screen before landing back on him again cocking her head to the side.

Ignoring her first question, the teen responded to her statement. "Yeah, do me a favor and just ignore those, don't even bother reading them, just delete'em."

That's when the sound of yelling was heard from downstairs, "DWEEB! HURRY UP AND GET DOWN HERE!"

Groaning in annoyance, Kazuma sat forward, before placing his arms on his desk, and lying his head down between them. His head was quickly flooded with memories of past events, ninety five percent of them about as shitty as shitty could get, the other five percent being the only bright spot, all of which had something to do with Ariel. "I wish I had one, just one person who made me feel like... " He raised his head up then, looking into the virtual girl in his computer's eyes, as he finished his sentence beneath his breath, "...like Ariel does."

That's when, not thinking, he said something he had been yearning for, dreaming for and wishing for, for four long years, "I wish you were real Ariel."

With that he stood up, before grabbing his back pack, which was sitting next to his desk, and threw it over his shoulder, exiting the room after doing that. In doing so, he failed to notice as the screen of his computer began to glow a bright white...

Downstairs

Kazuma did his best to ignore his older sister, as she bitched at him for taking so long, grabbing some socks and his shoes, before slipping both sets on. He then followed behind her as she led him to her car, before the two got in, and she started it up, and proceeded to pull out of the driveway.

With those two heading to school, that left their mother alone, thought not as alone as she thought...

Ariel's eyes closed. "As you wish." She quoted from her favorite movie and then next thing she knew, she was standing in Kazuma's room. She blinked and moved her arms and legs slowing getting a feel of them. How did this happen? She looked towards the mirror Kazuma had looked in and reached a hand up to her face. It was soft. Then she looked down at her naked body. She thought and looked around. "Ah!" She found one of Kazuma's long sleeved blue flannel button down shirts and pulled it over her. She was just short enough that it covered her like a dress. When she finally had it on, she noticed one of Kazuma's school books on the floor. "I swear, if his head wasn't attached to him he'd forget that too." She picked it up. "I guess I could take it to him." She took one step and fell not knowing how to walk. She made a loud thump and to her surprise, she felt pain for the first time. She got back up and slowly walked towards the door.

Yayoi Yagami had just finished washing the plates she and her daughter had used for breakfast, when she heard a loud thump from upstairs. She stopped to listen, but when no more noise was heard, she grew curious. "Kids...? Are you guys still here?" That wasn't right though, they had left, she had seen them do so, she knew for a fact they were gone.

Not intent on letting the noise go unchecked, she left the kitchen and headed to the stairs, growing cautious as she came to the first step. She looked up at the top of the flight, but she didn't see anything, nevertheless, she ascended them, though she did so softly, so as to not make any noise. She managed to reach the top without incident, so went on to check her daughter's room. It was empty, so she moved onto her son's room, but, just before she could open the door, it was opened from the other side.

When the door was fully open, she was expecting to see some kind of burglar or criminal, what she was not expecting however, was an attractive young girl, wearing absolutely nothing but one of her son's shirts. She was so shocked by this, that she stumbled back, and was, understandably, full of questions for the girl. "Wh-who are you!? And what are you doing in my son's room!? And why are you wearing one of his shirts!?"

Ariel would recognize this woman as Kazuma's mother, mostly by her features, as she had seen pictures of her on his computer. She stood at five eight, had a slim figure, purple eyes and long purple hair pulled up into two buns.

"Mrs. Yagami." Ariel bowed politely. "I'm sorry to have scared you. I am Ariel. Kazuma created me." She held up the school book. "I'm sorry to run, but I must get thing book to Kazuma. He was up late working on this essay and he forgot it." She pulled the piece of paper out of the book and showed it to her then put it back. She smlied and headed towards the stairs. She stopped, cocked her head and sat down scooting down the stairs.

Yayoi was understandably taken back by the girl's words, and if she wasn't rendered speechless by them, the fact that she sat down and began to butt scooch down the stairs definitely did the trick. The older woman could only blink in rapid succession, as she tried to get a handle on the crazy situation she found herself in, to no avail though.

At Kazuma's school, Mohto Academy

As Kazuma's sister, Hana, pulled into the driveway of the school, she all but kicked him out of the car, before getting out herself. "We're literally a five minute drive from school, and we're still late! All cause you wouldn't wake up! Damn you Kazuma!"

"Yeah, yeah, everything's always my fault, I got it already." The teen replied, yawning as he did.

She continued to go on after that, but he simply blocked her out as he made his way to the front doors of the school. With every step closer to them, he took smaller strides, slowing down with each passing moment, as if walking through those doors was a death sentence, which, in a sense, it was. By the time he was close enough to reach out and touch the handles, he came to a complete stop, hesitating. "When I walk through these doors, I'll be put through hell." With that thought in mind, he reached out for one of the door handles, taking a firm hold of it, as he took in a deep breath, exhaling a moment later.

Before he could finish readying himself, his sister came up behind him and shoved him inside the building, saying this as she did so, "Hurry up, we don't have all day!"

(I'm getting off for awhile, gonna go to bed. See you later Snow.)

Ariel finally got to the front door and stared at it. She assessed it and the knob. Since she was a computer herself, she was able to learn how to open it. Then she searched for a rout to get to Mohto Academy. She followed the directions. She smiled. She could feel the sun on her skin and the breeze in her hair. People kept staring at her. She only smiled at them and kept walking. The world out side Kazuma's bedroom was magical. She heard new sounds, she smelled wonderful and sometimes awful fragrances. She couldn't wait to see him school.

---------------------------------------------

At the school, 20 minutes later

"Hello, where is Kazuma?" Ariel asked an elder lady. She was wearing a suit and her hair was tied back in a tight bun. "He left his book at home." She smiled holding it up. A few students had stopped to stare at Ariel. Some where pointing and laughing, others had their jaw dropped.

"Is that Kazuma's robot from the videos?" "Oh man! I thought she wasn't real!" "Why is she not wearing clothes?" "Damn, how can he get that?"

"Woh, I need to make me a robot girlfriend."

So many people were talking at once that it started to scare Ariel a bit. They were stepping closer to her. One teenage boy even reached out his hand to touch her arm! This sent her over the edge.

"KAAAAAZUUUUUMAAAAAAAAA!!"

Kazuma stumbled after being shoved into the school, barely managing to keep from tripping and falling onto his face as he did. His sister walked past him as he righted himself, so that he as standing upright. Heading to wherever she was heading, she left him behind, as he looked around in the empty hallway they had entered.

Since no one was in sight, he thought there was a small chance that he could make it to homeroom before it ended, and the hallways were flooded with students. Yeah, he'd still be ridiculed out the ass, but at least it'd be near a teacher, so they could, hopefully, keep the other students from getting too vicious.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be nothing more than false hope, as after making his way down the hallway and turning the corner to the next one, the bell rang, and students came pouring into the hall. Upon sighting him, most of them broke into hysterics, laughing uncontrollably at him. He tried to ignore them of course, rushing past everyone he could, but it was in vain, as he soon bumped into a particular group of students, who were known as the elite of the school, the most popular kids of the popular kids. Also known as the official Kazuma torture brigade. "Man, fuck my life."

--------------------------------------------

15 minutes later...

Kazuma had finally managed to slip away from his verbal abusers, and just as he was about breathe a sigh of relief, he heard the cry of a familiar voice...

"KAAAAAZUUUUUMAAAAAAAAA!!"

Not thinking about it, he rushed to where the voice came from, wondering what could possibly going on. And when he got there, he was shocked, to say the least. "What the hell!? Ariel!!??" He near shouted in disbelief.

"Ah, there you are!" Ariel smiled joyfully and gracefully swept towards him. "You forgot your book." She lifted up the book taking pride in managing to find him. "You have a nice school. Is that the lady who gave you detention for not turning in your work on time? She doesn't look like a fat cow. She seems nice." She smiled again facing him and waiting for him to speak. The woman gasped crossing her arms and tapping her foot at Kazuma. The other students roared with laughter. Ariel frowned. "What's so funny?"

(Sorry it took so long to reply. Had to deal with a few hardware issues, what with my laptop being such a shoddy piece of equipment and all. I should have it fixed in a day or two, until then...well, I'll just post as often as I'm able to.)

Kazuma was speechless to say the least, completely flabbergasted by what he saw before him. A living, breathing, flesh and blood Ariel! It was impossible for this to be real! Wasn't it....?

That's when she began to speak to him, snapping him from his stupor, as she proceeded to get him in trouble, without so much as thinking about it as she did. "Wha-? Now, that's not what I said. What I actually said was....uh...that...she...looked like a cow...because of the dress she wore, yeah that was it!"

That didn't help him in the slightest, he could see it on the woman's face.

"Well.......I gotta go, bye!"

With that, he grabbed ahold of Ariel by the wrist, and quickly took off, dashing away from the teacher and all those students as fast as he could, his mind racing as he did. "What is going on!? Why is Ariel here!? Hell, how is she here!? She's a VI for fucks sake!"

He didn't stop running until they made it to a specific hallway, and with no one looking, he quickly slipped into the utility closet, bringing Ariel into it with him. And now, away from prying eyes, Kazuma began to pant, as he had rushed down several hallways before reaching this closet, and was a bit winded from running all the way here.

(No problem I completely understand. Weekends are kinda busy for my anyways so my replies will be late sometimes as well especially today. I'm volunteering with my cousin at our mall. She works in the head office and we're doing superhero day for kids. They make their own superhero an OC and they compete in a contest! I'll take pictures for you. If I can post them! I'm so excited!! Anyways back our misfortunant little teens)

Ariel stood there not out of breath and smiling. She was happy to see him so the first thing she did was hug him. His sentence finally hit her nose and she breathed in making a mental note of the memory. She laughed and then pulled away. She looked right at him and said- "Hello."

(I'm glad you understand, thank you. That's a pretty cool idea, And sure, if you can upload some pics, I'll take a look at'em.)

Kazuma's head continued to spin, his mind racing, but as he felt the softness of Ariel as she hugged him, it near shut down, from shock, as well as a few other things. The embrace certainly took him off guard, though it was honestly a welcome change from what he was used to. She pulled away then, after giving a small giggle, and greeted him.

Words failed to form for several moments, the teen not able to do much else than blink, before finally, he managed to ask, "Ariel...how...? You shouldn't be here, you're a program on a computer, one that I created! How could you possibly be here, in the real world...? Am I going insane or something?" He asked that last question more to himself than her.

"Well, I'm not sure." She raised her finger to her chin curving it slightly. Her eyes wandered around the small room. "I remember feeling warm and it was cramped and then my feet came in contact with the floor. It was such an amazing feeling!" She giggled and did a spin, her hair curling around her then resting on her chest in front of her. She grabbed it and started playing with it. "Hair is so soft." She then looked up and smiled wide raising her arm up to touch his hair running her fingers through it. Her eyes widened. "Your hair is soft too!" She laughed and put her hands behind her back and rocked back and forth on her feet. "This is quite the adventure."

"That doesn't explain anything..." Kazuma said before sighing. "What is going on? I've gone crazy haven't I? Or maybe I'm dreaming, that might be it. I bet after running into my torture brigade, they kicked the crap out of me and I fell unconscious, and this is the delusion like dream thing I'm having because of it."

"My hair is so soft."

Kazuma looked at Ariel after she said that, doing so just in time for her to begin playing with his hair, smiling all the while as she did. The teen couldn't help but blush as she messed with his hair. "Your hair is soft too!" The face she made was quite cute when she said that. That giggle of hers didn't hurt her cute factor either.

He could only stare at her at that point, entranced by her lips, her smile, and her eyes. He heard her say something about adventure, but he had honestly spaced out while looking at her.

"Stop wandering why and just enjoy it." Ariel sniffed around and a grossed out look crossed her face. "The smells in here are awful." She turned around and picked up a bottle of bleach. "This is toxic. Maybe we should get out of here." She put it back down and turned once more to Kazuma. "Oh! Can we go get strawberries? I've always wanted to try them." She smiled and searched her data base for the nearest grocery store. "Found it!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the closet and ran with him out of the school.

"FREEDOM!"

Ariel loved impersonating movies, so the first thing that came to her mind was Braveheart. While Kazuma was away at school, she would busy herself by watching movies and even playing a few games. She spun around happily and when she did, her shirt came up resulting in a flashing scene. Many people stopped and gasped one car even crashed. She took a hold of Kazuma's hand and lead him in the direction of the store. All the while humming to a Disney song.

He was snapped out of his stupor as she dragged him out of the closet, and proceeded to continue dragging him until they got outside, saying something about strawberries as she did. "Wha-? Strawberries? You want strawberries?"

She then shouted near the top of her lungs the word freedom, before doing a little twirl, the shirt she wore coming up and revealing her nude figure as it did, nearly causing Kazuma to have a heart attack. Not to mention it caused a bit of havoc, a car swerving before crashing into a fire hydrant from seeing her, as well as many people gasping and beginning to point at her. "AHH! Ariel, cover up!" He cried, as he grabbed her from behind and pulled the shirt down to cover her once more. Only a second after that, she was pulling him along once more, humming as she did, though he didn't intend to let that situation from just a moment ago go unaddressed. "Ariel, you can't let people see you naked like that!" As he said this, he had to fight his own arousal at seeing her like that.

"Why?" She kept walking. "They have all seen naked people before. I really don't know why people wear clothes. It's seems like such a hassle. Oh and those stupid fashion thingys. Yuck." To the right, she saw a woman scolding her child for doing something wrong. It then hit Ariel that she's been acting out. Really she didn't mean to. She was just excited. She paused and looked at Kazuma, all traces of smiles gone.

"I'm.. I'm sorry, Kaz..." Her shoulders hunched as she grabbed her hair and started playing with it twisting the ends around her finger. She looked down. "I haven't been behaving like a girl should." She was looking back into her memory on how women act. Videos and articles, pictures and books all filled with proper manners of a lady. Looking back at the days events, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment turning them a deep pink.

As Ariel apologized and lowered her head, looking more embarrassed than he had seen anybody in a long time, he couldn't but feel like a jerk. He didn't mean to upset her in anyway, he just didn't want her going about flashing the whole town, for a multitude of reasons. So, he embraced her, pulling the her close and holding her, as he tried to make her feel better. "Oh Ariel...it's okay, it's not like you were doing anything bad. It's just that...um, how do I put this? While a lot of people would be happy to see you like that, you're only supposed to show the person you love most your body like that, okay?" He explained, not sure how else to put it.

She nodded while hugging him back. "Okay..." She pulled back. "So, how about those strawberries?" Her mood changed quickly yet again and she was back to smiling. "Why don't you show me around? I want to spend the day with you. Now that I'm free, I'm excited to see the world. I just really want to spend it with you though. And... maybe find me some girl clothes." She looked into his eyes like she had done so many times in the past but this time they were different. She could see them clearly. Softy gray and searching. Searching her eyes too. It was nice to see him out of the screen of the computer. She finally saw him, truly saw him. He was beautiful to her. Unlike anything she'd ever seen before. She so easily let herself get lost. And she liked it.

Kazuma couldn't help but chuckle at her quick emotional turn around. "Sure, we can get some strawberries. And I have no problem showing you around town." When she mentioned girl clothes though, he began to blush once more. "Um, yeah, you do need those, huh? We'll find you some clothes too, don't worry."

That's when their eyes met, and they both seemed to get lost in each other's pairs of colored orbs. As they did, the teen couldn't help but think, "She's even cuter in real life."

When a horn from a car was heard, and then some shouting about putting some clothes on, that comment quite clearly directed at Ariel, Kazuma realized they were just standing there. "Right, we better get going. Clothes shopping first though, that way there aren't anymore incidents like the one that just occurred, alright Ariel?"

She let out a little laugh and nodded. "Alright." She smiled and took his hand happy to let him lead. She breathed in and relaxed. She was happy and for what she could tell, as was Kazuma. That just only made her more happy. She didn't care about the looks and comments she was getting from other people around. This wasn't their life. It was hers and Kazuma's and she wanted to spend every second of it by his side. She couldn't care less about the world.

So many ideas were running through her head she could barely keep up with them all. She wanted to do everything. She wanted to go to a park, pet a dog, climb a tree. She even wanted to know what pain felt like.

"Good." He squeezed her hand at that. "Now then, if I remember correctly, the closest clothing store would be...two streets down and to the right, if being dragged along with my mom on shopping trips has taught me anything." With that said, he led the way.

--------------------------------------------

At the nearest clothing store, Beauty Boutique

To say that people were shocked to see two young teens walk into the female only clothing store, one of them a boy and the other only dressed in a long shirt, would be an understatement. Despite the embarrassment Kazuma felt as all the women stared at him and Ariel, he continued on, taking the once virtual, but now real girl into the back, he let go of her hand and picked out a few things. In the middle of doing so though, he realized something, "She's gonna need underwear too..." That thought was a doozy.

Taking a few deep breaths to calm himself, he picked out a random pair of panties and a bra, before giving them to Ariel, and all but shoving her into a changing room. "Put these on!" He said in a rush, closing the door behind her as he did.

Taking a breath of relief, he turned around so as to wait for her to finish, thinking to himself as he did. "I hope she knows how to put those on."
