Fantasy Love Love Love! Quest

Sen Pai

I'm back, baby.

l3q_zpseubdaobv.png

What happens when characters from a fantasy world fall into the modern world of Earth?!

"It's over, Demon Lord," the hero said, the blade of his sword pointed towards the evil villain. "Your generals have been slain and you have no where left to run."

Lucius, the demon king, scoffed. "Foolish, hero," he smirked, wiping the dirt off his face. "You may have won this battle but it's not over just yet."

Suddenly, a dark magic portal formed behind the demon king, it's power causing the entire land to shake. "I will allow you to have control over Sofya! But fear the night that I come back to claim my throne!" Summoning a few of his evil vessels, Lucius fell into the swirling darkness of the portal.

The hero scowled and ran after the demon king, shielding his eyes with his arm from the brightness of the magic. He turned around to his companions and said, "You are not obligated to follow me." Takao sheathed his sword. "But those who choose to come will assist me in slaying the demon king once and for all!"

Without missing a beat, the hero spun around and ran into the magic portal, followed by some of his companions.

It was then when they observed the terrifying magnificence of the demon king's magic and how it could even be used to travel worlds; they found themselves in the world of Earth...

"Owch!"

Having landed harshly on something, Lorelei got up quickly in order to search for the hero and make sure he was safe. She found herself shrouded in darkness, a bright light coming from a narrow strip. But that wasn't of concern right now.

"Takao! Takao, where are you?" Lorelei called out, wandering the darkness with no idea where she was going. And then she bumped into someone. Immediately assuming it was one of her companions, Lorelei smiled in relief and reached out to pat the person on the head. "Hey, have you seen--"

"Izaria? Is that you? What happened to your voice?" The person's own voice was commanding and held an
'I'm better than you' tone to it.

Lorelei took and step back but leaned in, squinting to get a better look to who it was. That is, until a bright ray of light was shone on her - and the other person's face - and she screamed bloody murder.

"Is there something wrong, ma'am?" A suspiciously dressed man addressed Lorelei, his light emitting magic device now illuminating the whole, what seems to be, an alleyway. The man was dressed strangly but he was obviously a human, he even wore a strangely shaped hat.

"Who are you to address me, the Great Demon Lord of Sofya!" The person beside Lorelei boomed and pointed at the strange man dramatically. " ??? ?? ???? ??? ??? !" Muttering a magic spell, the person stretched out his arms towards the stranger. But nothing came out. "Eh?"

Lorelei used the confusion to squint closely and realized that the man beside her was indeed the demon king, no longer in his great demon form. Running away and looking for Takao, Lorelei tripped and found herself staring at a black haired young boy who looked? like Takao but couldn't be him.

"Lorelei, is that you?" The Takao-lookalike asked in a Takao-like voice. So Lorelei did what one would do in such a situation; she screamed.

"Now, shut up!" A smaller girl emerged from the shadows and Lorelei immediately recognized who she was. "Can't a great demon get some rest here?" Izaria Aschubel had taken the form of a tiny teenage human and that alone was too much for Lorelei; the mermaid turned human fainted.

The next time Lorelei woke up, she was in a secluded room that was a lot like a prison cell back in Sofya. A man who was dressed the same way as the stranger who found the Sofyans in the alleyway was unlocking her cell. There was quite a bit of struggle but when a friendly old man who looked a lot like the Wizard of the Rift (powerful magician who was neutral in war) said something to the men in private, the Sofyans were out the door in no time.

"My name is Professor
Dumbledore Hardman but not to worry I'm not a hard marker." With a wink and a twinkle in his eye, Professor Hardman waited a few awkward seconds for a laugh, even a giggle, but got none and cleared his throat to continue with an explanation.

And that is how the Sofyans found themselves attending the prestigious Fortuna Academy. With the bell about to ring, everyone was conveniently placed in the same class despite their human age differences because of the great Professor Hardman. Now they were going to be late for their first day of school; what is a fantasy character supposed to do?

"Get to class, you vagabonds!"

A thud to the ground was all that Takao had felt. It was a grassy area and before the hero was..some school..? This wasn't Sofya anymore. Not aware of his changed appearance and lack of weapon, the hero arose and looked around the area. "Were..is everyone..the demon king, my followers..they are gone..?" Takao had read of a place that looked as such before, but didn't realize it was a real place. "Could this be..the land I hath read. Earth..?" All of it was sinking into place once more. The portal of the foul beast took them..here. Takao looked down to pick up his weapon, but it was not there. And his attire, changed. "What in the great sofyan is going on here?" The air grew cold, Everything felt numb. Takao hit the ground from exhaustion.

Later awaking in a room, with other people. It seemed to be a class room. A lot different than the ones in Sofya, but no doubt a class room.

Lucius pushed up his new glasses - they came with the new vessel, as if some sort of extra bonus offering. He taps the weird squishy pink part of the pencil on the wooden desk rapidly, looking around himself wildly and trying to recognize the faces. They look familiar enough, if you look hard enough... Izaria Aschubel, his most trusted general. Takao Kieran, the so-called "Hero" of Sofya. Lorelei Angelies, the ... well Lucius isn't quite sure what she is. But he knows that the more companions of the hero present means more trouble for him. On another point: why is his magic not working? "العودة إلى صوفيا.," he mutters under his breath, trying once more, but to no avail. Lucius's tapping of the desk with the pencil becomes faster and harder until it produces a sound alike to gun fire as he becomes increasingly more frustrated.

And if that wasn't bad enough, his demons seem to be gone. Not his companions - those are here, but the demons inside of him. The demons which have been within him since he began this quest, which have helped him along and lent him their strength. Maybe his demons abandoned ship before they hit the portal, and perhaps that has to do with why he can't use his spells? That must be it. I suppose once this torture session is over I'll look for the local library and read all I can about this world ... See if there's anyway to gather energy for magic and then make my moves from there.

Aurora awoke on the grass. She was face down and had grass stuck in her nose. She sneezed, jolting her up right. "Oh my goodness" she said, rubbing her nose. She looked back down at the grass and noticed something was different. This wasn't the same thick plush grass she was used to. Aurora looked up and saw she was in front of a large building. Others around her seemed to be in a daze at this new setting. Aurora pushed off the ground, prepared to stand and figure out what was going on. As soon as her feet made contact, she collapsed. She looked down at her feet and noticed there were no longer furry legs that turned into brown hooves. Two nasty human feet sat before her. Almost as if they were mocking her "no...NO!" she gasped, grabbing her feet with her hands. "This is a nightmare...this is NOT happening!" She fidgeted. Her two different colored eyes looked around wildly in a panic as she struggled to stand again. Her legs wobbled and then she collapsed again. "Why do my knees bend forward?! How do people do this?!" She cried, feeling hopeless in the grass. ((Hope this is alot. On a phone so can't see lol))

Izaria was till trying to get grass out of her hair from her abrupt wake up call from the grass in front of the school. There was this one piece that she could get out of her hair no matter how much she tried. She slammed her new appendage- humans call it a hand- onto her desk out of frustration, causing the inhabitants of the room to stare at her. Not that she cared much though. She felt absolutely miserable in this human body of hers. No longer could she stand over her opponents and look down upon them, to see the fear in their eyes. She had to look up at them as if she were the prey. She had to think of a way to show these lowly humans to fear her. Without her demon form, it would be a difficult task. She tapped a finger on the desk, totally lost in thought. There had to be a way, something she could exploit- Then the ball rang and a bigger human stepped in. The class, that was chattering like a bunch of bugs, immediately went quiet and turned to watch them. Thats it! He seems to have dominance here, and if she were to show them how weak they bigger human was to her, the power would be turned over to her. She stared at the tall figure and evaluated them. They seemed to be a male human. She also caught the sight of metal wrapped around his finger. A hidden weapon maybe? She had encountered a few of them on the battlefield, and after getting a nasty cut by one, she learned to always be wary of them. He turned to write on a white surface with simplistic symbols. She laughed quietly to herself. This would be easier than she thought. Leaving his back wide open like that is simply put, a moronic move. I'll give him mercy for until tomorrow, she thought. Then tomorrow she would have them all serving-

"Izaria, would you care to explain this?" Spoke the instructor. He had written those symbols into a nice, straight line with spaces in between certain letters with no real pattern to be seen. She started bristling with anger. How dare he mock me, she thought! She then felt what could only be explained as a... fluttering? She immediately hated it as soon as she felt it. She could feel all of the stares on her and it made her want to jump out of her own skin. Her face felt like fire was burning upon it. She then sputtered in a language that probably hasn't been spoken on this earth ever and glared daggers at the teacher. The students laughed, but the teacher knit his eyebrows together and slowly, enunciating each vowel as if he was trying to understand something, gestured to a human in the front row.

"Would you care explaining?" He asked the human. Izaria heard the response as if it were background noise to her own thoughts. Maybe this wouldn't be as easy as she thought.

(Poor teacher. She'll probably end up going through the plan tomorrow)

"
Good morning, hero." Lorelei muttered, clearly unhappy of her current predicament. "I hope you had a lovely rest, fainting in the school yard." The mermaid-turned-human was acting more irritable than usual, having disregarded almost all of her manners. It was hard for a woman to find herself going through puberty all over again. After all, who wants to go through that dreaded stage for the second time? Although Lorelei knew that she would have to work with what she had, she still could be bitter about it.

"
Why do my knees bend forward?! How do people do this?!" A voice cried out from the field, causing Lorelei to get up out of her seat and stalk over to the window to yell at the girl on the ground.

"
AT LEAST YOU HAVE BOOBS LARGER THAN AN A CUP!" Lorelei shrieked back, gesturing towards her shrunken body, specifically her breasts (or lack thereof). She just couldn't handle it. The demon king was in the same room as she was and she couldn't attack him. "Stupid code of conducts..." Lorelei muttered, sending the angry teacher a quick glare before returning to her seat next to Takao. "If we weren't bound by the school rules, I'd already have your head on a pike." She growled as she passed by the demon king.

Deciding that she was already on a roll, Lorelei turned around to face in the demon-turned-human Izaria. "
Uwaa! What a stupid demon~ I guess all those battles made you lose your brain cells!" Although they didn't get the reference, some of the students laughed alongside of Lorelei. The teacher sent Lorelei another harsh look and began to scold her; even as the teacher chastised her, Lorelei couldn't wipe off the smug expression in her eyes.

Takao watched as Lorelei continued about her rant. The forefront of his mind, he thought of how they would return back to Sofya. How long would they all be there. And how long would it be until the Demon king's head was on the edge of his blade. Sadly, it looked like all of them would be there for a while, thus, Takao returned to his state of mind outside of battle. Quiet. About to utter words to one of his companions, he was interrupted by the teacher scolding her. "Lorelei, relax my friend. We will learn of this place soon enough and have the demon king dead." Takao tried to keep quiet from the other students, only speaking to Lorelei.

Being on earth couldn't be..so bad..could it? Just living a life with no fighting, no wars. The idea actually seemed a bit peaceful to him, however..the idea made him thirst for the fight once more. The normal feeling in his hand was different as well. No more god hand..yea this wasn't going to be fun at all. Sofya..they needed to get back to Sofya as soon as possible

Aurora attempted to stand up, this time locking her knees and place. She held her arms out for balance and wobbled from one foot to the other, like a newborn baby. She stared at her feet and disbelief, confused on how she was supposed to move. Suddenly, someone yelled at her, causing her to collapse again to the ground. She struggled to stand up again, her knees locking back into place. Panickingly, she looked around for something to support her and spotted a tree not too far away. She knew she could do it but it was not going to be pretty. Slowly Aurora begin to stumble forward, keeping her knees locked at all times. Her eyes were set firmly on the trees as she neared it. As soon as she got within arm's length she let her body collapse holding onto the tree for dear life. She felt a tad bit accomplished at her travel. A large person stood outside looking at her escapades. She could hear them mention something about being drunk but she didn't know what that meant. Suddenly the large human begin to yell at her and she was very confused what was happening. She kept mentioning class and the word drunk. The large female human headed over to her and grabbed her by the arm nearly dragging her to some unknown location. Aurora began to plead with the large person begging her to help for she had no idea where she was or what was happening. Instead of getting a compassionate answer, she was greeted with a nasty look from the large human and more of the word drunk. Aurora stumbled after the lady for she had no other option. Her grip was firm on her elbow and she didn't like it one bit. She was brought inside the large establishment and she looked wildly around. Her sense of smell seem to be limited in this form, but she still couldn't figure out why she was in this form. The large human open the door and nearly tossed her inside fussing about her needing to stay inside. Aurora looked wildly around the room where other humans stared back at her as well as a larger adult. She stumbled towards the first empty chair she could find, relieved she could get off of these weird large feet. As soon as she sat down she felt the eyes leave her and she begun to study what she was wearing. This body had weird articles of clothing which she was not used to. Back home she was never required to wear clothes and was basically in the nude at all times. Her instinct was to pull off the closing but by looking at the other students she could tell that seemed to be a little bit unacceptable. She began to itch at the fabric not understanding how these others were able to focus with such horrible fabric covering their bodies.

Izaria was agitated already from the incident from earlier, so when Lorelei insulted her in front of the class, she became absolutely furious. Mad because she was stuck here with all of these stupid humans. Mad because she doesn't understand human language. Mad because they thought it was okay to speak her name as if she were some commoner. She looks around for something that could be used as a weapon. Aha- those sticks that they're writing with should work. She took the pencil off of Lucius's desk when he was paying attention to that man in front, seeing that it was sharp. She twirled it in her hands, waiting for the teacher to turn his back again so she could strike and finally show her strength. Her breath became more relaxed and rhythmic, and her muscles hummed with a newfound energy. She loved this feeling. It brought her back to the days when she was on the front lines and fighting with claw and tooth against an enemy.

The teacher finally turned to write on the board. She slowly creeped up the isle, pencil in hand, earning some stares from other students. She was just about to pounce when a bell rang and all the humans in the class stampeded out. She stood confused and dropped the pencil. Am I supposed to be running too, she thought? She quickly glanced around the room. There was nothing dangerous to be seen. She rubbed her head in exasperation and muttered quietly to herself, "I really don't understand humans". But then, where is everyone heading to? Izaria looked out the window. People started streaming outside, while the sun hung in the sky, starting to stream westward. Some of the humans traveled in groups and sat in the grass. They pulled out bags and ate food from them. She laughed with a smug expression on her face. "Heh, puny humans. Needing to refuel half way through the day- how weak can you get?" She watched, and mocked them from above. At least until her stomach growled. Her expression then got somber. She sighed and walked back to her desk. There she rested her head in her arms and tried to ignore the stomach pangs she was getting.

Looking at Takao as if he had just said that her hair was tacky, Lorelei's jaw clenched tightly and she huffed childishly. "
Tch, fine..." Anger soothed for the time being, Lorelei stared blankly at the whiteboard, using the teacher's lecture as white noise for thinking. How could they get back to Sofya if they couldn't use magic? Well, the first step would be to kill the demon king. Lorelei shot Lucius a dirty look before she took to pretending to write down notes. Little did the people around her know that Lorelei was actually scribbling doodles to the many ways she could kill the demon king with and without magic.

When the girl who couldn't walk was brought into the room, Lorelei couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Without her rage and anger, the mermaid-turned-human was sure she had seen her before. The way that she moved was similar to that of a newborn giraffe, awkward and without a hint of grace.

Before Lorelei could really examine the girl, the bell rang and everyone began rushing out of the classroom, emptying out the room. Only a few people stayed back so Lorelei took this to her advantage to not-so-secretly approach the girl and interrogate her. "
Hi, are you new?" Smiling in a friendly manner, Lorelei stood in front of the girl's desk and leaned forward. "Actually, I don't care. Who are you and where did you come from?" Frowning at the familiar-looking girl, Lorelei furrowed her brows in concentration.

Izaria looked up from her arm-cage-of-misery and glanced at a small boy who was sitting at his desk alone. He seemed to be searching for something to his side in a big bag where the humans kept all their stuff in and left his lunch unattended for a minute. Izaria smirked. The lunch was an arms length away. She reached out and grabbed it before he noticed, then sank back into he corner of the room lurking in the shadows with this poor kid's lunch. She took a taste of a brown looking substance in a thin cup and gasped in wonder at how amazingly good it was. She had another lick, then another and-

"Oi, theres my lunch!" The boy way standing and pointing at her. She dropped the lunch, but of course kept the cup in her hand. She would be on the defensive this time. She quickly glanced out the open window and gained a plan to keep this heavenly substance. But the boy wasn't just about to let it go because she gave back his lunch. Seeing that she still had his dessert in his hand he gestured toward it.

"Give the pudding back." he demanded reaching out for it. Izaria took advantage of the moment he was off balance from reaching forward and sweeping her feet under him, knocking is feet out from over him. So its called pudding she thought as she jumped out the open window and ran to hide in some shrubs that were in front of the school. She then quickly devoured the pudding, leaving the container there. She then leaned against the wall behind her, relaxing.

(sorry if this is strange, its like 2:30 am rn... i would do this for pudding)

Aurora sat in her chair for what felt like seconds. The bell rang, which startled her. She jumped a bit from the sound and suddenly the students began to rush out of the room. "Great" she muttered. I am just going to stay here she thought, not wanting to move anymore. As soon as the last of the stampeding students left, a girl was on her like a honing missile.
"Hi, are you new?"
she had asked her. She looked friendly enough...and familiar enough. Aurora gave a small smile and opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the girl again.
"Actually, I don't care. Who are you and where did you come from?"
She said. Aurora's nose flared as the strange human seemed to know something about her. Her eyebrow raised and she held her head high. "I am from the rolling planes of Sofya" she said proudly, eyeing the girl with her two different colored eyes. Something was different about her, but even if she was human she didn't care. She was from the planes of Sofya and wanted everyone to know she was from the beautiful place she grew up in.

Takao stood up to help the boy who was 'attacked' by Izaria. He offered his helping hand to stand back up. "Don't mind that girl, she has a lot of things on her mind and..well let's just say shes evil." Takao giggled quietly. Then, out of no where he heard the words of his home land. Sofya. A girl talking to lorelei..She was a Sofyan too. After helping the boy to his feet he ran over to speak to Loreli and the new girl. Somewhat rudely interrupting them.. "You said you were from Sofya..? Great..how many of us ARE from Sofya.. "

Lorelei's smile returned almost immediately when the girl said that she was from the plains of Sofya. "
Ah, so you're from--" Getting cut off by Takao, Lorelei bit her lip and took a step back, allowing the hero to take the lead like usual. "Depends how many people entered the magic portal." Lorelei answered in a sarcastic manner, shooting the demon king another distasteful look.

When Izaria suddenly jumped out the window with a kid's lunch, Lorelei sighed and shook her head. "
Demons are such savages..." Seeing as she was hungry as well, Lorelei briefly left in order to flirt with a tall young student who sat in the back. You don't just take someone's lunch, you make them give it to you.

Starting to twirl her hair and bat her eyelashes, Lorelei smiled seductively at the young man. This obviously looked very awkward in her teenage human body."
Hi, I'm really hungry and--" Lorelei was cut off again when another girl walked in with the expression of an angry girlfriend and pulled Lorelei out of the classroom.

The mermaid-turned-human later found herself being thrown into the shrubs in front of the school and staring at one of her sworn enemies, who was relaxing against the wall.

Aurora wrung her hands together. So many people were giving her attention...this was unusual. She didn't know how to answer the question the boy was asking. Despite her being from Sofya, she didn't know much about the demon king and the hero. She just liked to help the fallen and stay to her side of the plains. "I am sorry..." she muttered, not really know what else to say to the questioning duo. The girl suddenly walked off and Aurora looked at the boy before her nervously. "Are you from there as well?" she asked, her eyebrows lifting a bit. How is he walking so well? Must have had these chicken legs in Sofya too...poor thing she thought, looking at his legs and at her's. She studied the way the other's walked and decided she would give it a shot as well later. She would learn to walk right...if not...she shivered thinking about sitting in this chair forever.

Ellowyn, bored, looked around the room. This was so much different from her lessons back home, she missed the Autumn Woods of Sofya already. She had made a vow though, and it couldn't be broken. Ellowyn was sworn to help the Hero Takao defeat the Demon King and she would do whatever was needed.

It bothered her that her powers seemed to be gone, she couldn't manage even a simple glamour. She scowled giving up on the glamour and watched Takao waiting to see what he did next. She was content to sit there silently until a plan was formed. At least the weather outside the window seemed to be cool, it was her season, autumn and it comforted her and made her homesick at the same time.

Ellowyn heard a few others talking of Sofya so she wandered over to them. "I'm here too Takao," she told their 'leader.' She had no choice but to jump after him into the portal, she would have no way to aid him otherwise.

Takao chucked at the question brought forth to him by Aurora. "You..you're Aurora correct..? The healer girl." Then another voice from behind him. It sounded..so familiar.. "Ellowyn? By the gods of Sofya, all of you are here. That's it, I can not stand this blight anymore. Lucius!" Takao turned and pointed to the Demon King. "You need to get us back to Sofya, you caused this, now fix it Naive!" For once in his life, Takao out spoke, when not in the heat of battle, and actually seemed angry..

Aurora's eyes widened and she nodded to Takao furiously. He knows who I am?! she said, her face twisted into a confused looked. WHY?! she began to panic, thinking of all the things she had done wrong in the past. As soon as she figured out how he may know her, he suddenly called out to someone else. She jumped in her seat from the sudden outburst. She felt trapped in this stupid chair at this stupid desk at this stupid school in the stupid town. "Why is everything so STUPID" she groaned, feeling puberty crawling through her veins once more.

Lucius continues to sit in his seat, not paying any attention at all to the lecture.
Let's see... His pencil tapping continues. I believe I've heard the word electricity, having to do with lightning and the energy coming from it... It seems important to the people of this realm. He looks around the room and sees some odd contraption, then he sees an odd black string thing connecting it to the wall. That must be it - they keep their power source in the walls and bring it out using these contraptions. If I can manage to get a hold of several of these and focus on their energy, perhaps I can...

He sighs, becoming aware of an annoying buzzing sound coming from elsewhere in the room. Lucius would know that shrill, annoying voice anywhere: Takao. He sets his pencil down, then stands and pushes up his glasses. Then, Lucius smirks a bit, chuckling.
"I did nothing to get you in this situation, child," he answers calmly but with an underlying harshness. "It was your own naïveté, your own greed for power, glory, and blood which led you to follow me." Lucius pauses a moment, allowing that to sink in. "If you hadn't followed me, I would have been gone from Sofya, perhaps forever, and your government could do as they saw fit. However, you decided to forsake your home - to put it in danger and throw away everything over bloodlust. You could have stayed and helped rebuild, but you were too thirsty for blood that you just had to kill me. Isn't that right, hero?" He spits out the last word, twisting it and making it seem like an insult.

Takao was baffled by the words from his mortal enemy, then came the stammering and stuttering. "I..but..you.." Not often does this happen, but for once..Lucius was right. He did come here as a quest for blood..but why..what was this drive that Takao so greatly needed. "I came here to make sure I would never have to see you return to the land of Sofya. Who knows, you could have come back with a vengeance and attempt to murder us all!" He searched for the words to turn this all back onto him. A sword would be so nice right about now..slide it right through the face of that smug little cretin. "Maybe I was a little over ambitious to follow you..but..and I actually can't believe I'm saying this right now. But for once..I feel powerless..like I am nothing. I don't have my god hand, nor my sword..no matter how much I want to kill you..I m defenseless." Takao let out a long sigh, he has failed the people he sought to protect all of these years.

Lucius blinks as he looks at the youth. For once I believe I am beginning to understand this child who wishes me dead. I see ... I had heard the stories and witnessed his power, but I never thought he actually had God's hand... Lucius closes his eyes for a moment. "I see. It must have been hard ... Coming back to life after going through a painful death," he says, almost as if he cares. "And so now I suppose you feel it is your ... obligation. I kill you, you kill me back, hmm? Is that how it works, Takao?" He lets out a bit of a sigh. "I suppose it's all about revenge these days, isn't it...?"

Takao holds up his seemingly normal hand once again looking at it. "It's my birthright..I was born and enhanced by the gods to defeat you..It's what I was told to do. I'm finally understanding it all..But how do we get out of here..at this point I don't even care as if you are dead or not..right now I just want to return to Sofya..I can't actually believe I am saying something like this Lucius..but maybe we should.." Takao swallowed at the thought of actually working with the demon king himself..actually..he wasn't a demon anymore..he was Lucius..the human..as I am Takao..a mere human. A long sigh was let out. "Maybe we should work together to try and get back to Sofya." A few things could happen right now. A. his companions would scold him for even fathoming this. B. Lucius could laugh in his face. or even C. This could work out.

Lucius looks at the fallen hero of Sofya, a bit of pity in his eyes. "Yes, I suppose it is quite heartbreaking," he begins sympathetically, but his next words are harsh. "When you discover you are but a child aspiring to be famous. A greedy one, sacrificing everything they've worked for just to kill and take revenge. Pitiful." Lucius turns and walks back to his desk, sitting down. "I apologize, boy, but I don't tend to play well with other children. I do have a plan to go back, and I may have allowed you to return with me and repair your tainted idea of grace ... But you've hurt my feelings with all the talk of killing me."

He pauses a moment, then smiles faintly.
"Besides, I'm supposed to be the bad guy, aren't I? That seems to be the label slapped on my back..." Lucius stops smiling slowly. "And that means that, due to society's label for me, I am unable to aid you. Alas, if only I were a hero ... But I suppose that's to be expected of anybody following your king. Anybody who hates change and orders the slaughter of ... of innocent children..." Lucius closes his eyes for a moment, clasping his hands together and resting his chin on them. "...is a horrible leader. Now leave me be, Takao."

Izaria is awakened from her dozing by a girl crashing through the bushes. She opens her eyes and laughs at the sight.

"Well, what do you know? One of the heroes companions got beaten by a meer human!" She starts to lose control of her laughter and is laughing so hard she cries. She finally regains her composure and asks "So how did you get thrown in here?"

In the bushes, Fortuna Academy

Simply frowning at the smaller girl, Lorelei ungracefully crawled out of the bushes and plucked the leaves from her bird nest hair. "
I flirted with a human boy to get his lunch but his girlfriend caught me. " Muttering curses that wouldn't take effect, Lorelei dusted the dirt off her clothing and placed her hands on her hips. "That human girl was too rude." Lorelei tried to defend herself and not feel humiliated but she knew that she secretly deserved it after making fun of Izaria in the classroom.

"
Tch, that stupid girl just had to throw me in this bush..." Lorelei stood there with a no nonsense look on her face, impatiently waiting for Izaria to finish laughing. It was sort of weird hearing her laugh, seeing as how her previous form's laughter was one that made a grown man pee his pants and caused shivers down one's spine. "Gosh, this whole situation is weird..." Lorelei pursed her lips and tried to glare at the laughing girl but ended up sighing in defeat.

"
How's it feel to be small?" Lorelei grinned, stepping closer to Izaria in order to exaggerate their height difference. Although Lorelei also shrank a few inches, it wasn't as dramatic as Izaria's. Also, Lorelei didn't know what else to insult Izaria about as she wanted to keep up the angry enemy atmosphere. However, doing such a thing is difficult because of their current appearances!
