Realistic or Modern Love At First Sight

Paris France, the city of love. West Mont High is taking their travel group to Paris for 2 weeks. The boys and girls barely know eachother, they barely talk, they're all part of different catagories at school. Its so unlikely that some of those students fall in love ♡

Eva stepped off thenplan, with her earbuds in her ears, and "Today's Latest Hits" playing, at that moment, Tattoo by Hunter Hayes was playing. She nodded her a little to the music, waiting for the rest of the group. She was completely facinated by everything, and that's just the airport. She was dressed in a simple sweater dress, leggings and a pair of high heeled boots. ((At the bottom, btw, im designing my own clothes for now on))

Kal hopped off the bottom step, and accidentally bumping into the bada** of their school. She frowned a little "uhm sorry..." she mumbled quietly and ducked her head. She was wearing a dress, leather jacket, and pumps.

His stomach rolled as he thankfully leapt from his chair, grabbed his carry-on, and shuffled of the plane. He hadn't been on a plane since he was five when his family went to visit his grandma in Texas. Still, that had been a short flight and he really didn't have any memories of it. He hadn't expected it would be so unnerving to fly for long hours. He's have to get used to it if he wanted to travel.

"Whoa, a bit green in the face. Ain'cha?" A teasing Leonard said, brushing past him with a chuckle. Dalton choked back whatever was rolling around in his stomach and followed silently after the group.

Plane flights were to long, to boring. Pulling out his headphones, he tucked his Ipod into his pocket and pulled at the leather material so that it looked good. Following after the group of students he was traveling with, he noticed a sick looking kid and snickered.

"Whoa, a bit green in the face. Ain'cha?" He teased, brushing past only to bump into a blonde who had been sitting close to him on the plane. "Careful, cutie. Some people aren't as nice as me." He gave her a wink, flashing a smile, as he brushed a piece of hair out of her face and headed off to look around.

Kal rolled her eyes at the guys remark, and almost cringed when he brushed the hair from her face. She wasn't used to contact like that. She shook her head and followed her small group to go get their luggage. She stood and waited for her suitcase to come by, and quickly grabbed the pale blue bag. It was up to her knees in length, it looks like she packed so little, but really she had traveled enough to know how to pack a lot into a small bag. She smiled happily, usually she'd get her servant to grab it, but she did it on her own today.

Eva heard the bada** picking on one of the guys who came with them on the trip. She glanced back at the boy and frowned, "Don't let him pick on you... and the sickness will go away in just a little bit." She smiled reassuringly and almost flirtatiously, and went to grab her bag, which was just a pink duffel bag with flowers all over the sides. She kept her earbuds in, but she could hesr everything people were saying. " Parlez-vous français?" Someone asked her and she smiled brightly " Bien sûr que je fais, nous sommes à la recherche formour hôtel, où est-il?" She asked the name of the hotel and someone in a limo pulled up, "is this the West Mont High travel group?" The driver asked and Eva nodded, the driver grabbed all their bags and put them in the limo. She smiled and got in, as well did Kal.

Dalton gave the girl a thankful smile, trailing after the teacher so that he could grab his suitcase. He was excited, he was in Paris after all. France. He was traveling, it was his dream. The only problem was he couldn't speak an ounce of French. It was fine as long as he stuck to someone who spoke French though. Like the teacher.

"Limo?" He questioned, looking over the car that pulled up. "Uh..."

"No.... No... No..." Leo mused, leaning against the wall as his eyes trailed over the passing girls. "Come on, French girls are supposed to be hot." He grumbled, annoyed, and pushed off from the wall to find his class again. It wasn't like he was gonna stick around the airport when there was a whole city of ladies waiting to meet him, and mess with.

"Mr. Masson." He froze hearing the teacher's voice, "Where exactly are you going?" Leo turned slightly, giving the chaperone a smile.

"No where. Bathroom?" The teacher shook his head, pointing toward the group in silent command. Leo sighed, allowing himself to be ushered into the limo that was waiting outside. "Lame."

By the time the whole class was inside the limo, there was only one seat left for Leo, beside Kal. She scooted closer to the window and set her hands on her knees. She glanced at her phone and saw a text from one of her prep friends, she ignored it, and put her phone away. She saw Leo sit beside her and kept her view focused outside. At all the monuments and things of Paris.

Eva smiled at Daly and giggled, "you look clueless as to what I just said." She looked amused, " Vous êtes un garçon très mignon, et j'espère que vous ne comprenez ce que je dis." She winked and smiled teasingly.

He shifted a bit when one of the girls began to talk to him in French. "Vou... Vous et... What" He grumbled, sheepishly. "Sorry, I... am not good at French. I took Spanish." Daly looked down, giving a small - embarrassed - smile.

~LEO ~

He climbed into the limo, taking the last spot, which happened to be next to the girl that he had bumped into earlier. He wiggled an eyebrow at her when she peaked sideways at him. Not that it lasted a long time, she quickly averted her eyes to the window.

"Ah, what's that called?" He asked, pretending to be interested so that he could lean into her shoulder and point. "Looks old."

Eva smiled at him "good, cause then I can use it to my advantage" she giggled "you'd blush to what injust said, so its better you don't know" she sat beside him, "I'm Eva. I took french when I lived in canada. Cause, its french/english country." Thisnhad been the first time she so confidentially talked to someone.

Kal rolled her eyes, "thats the Notre Dame. A really famous church." She looked at him, a really small smile touched her lips, "I think you were missing the dah we learnt about it." She shrugged. Her shoulder was touching his, so it was difficult.

"Blush?" He mumbled, his face turning red just at the thought of what she could have said. "Maybe you're right. I shouldn't know." Daly gave a small laugh, before she wiggled over to sit next to him. "Dalton... Daly."

~ LEO ~

He faked a hurt look, touching his chest. "Oh... oh the sass." He said, before laughing. "I must have skipped that day. I'm not into history, puts me to sleep." His eyes trailed over her, looking her up and down before he glanced back out the window.

"Notre Dame, huh?" He shrugged, "I'm more interested in the blonde sitting next to me. Name's Leo, you are?"

Kal blushed a bright red, "well many people would think otherwise Leo. I'm Kalea, Kal." She smiled brightly, "im more interestedninnthe Eifel Tower." She teased and nudged him.

Eva giggled and looked at Daly, "nice to meet you!"

The limo pulled up to the very large hotel and The girls climbed out and grabbed their bags. Everyone had their own rooms, Kal and Eva went to theirs. They unpacked their things since they're staying there for two weeks. Kal went out into the hallway making sure the teacher was in her room, then snuck to Leo's. She had Eva with her, and Eva went to Daly's. They knocked on the boys' doors.

Renn had never previously realised how much she detested planes. It was only as she sat on one, staring out of the window, that she realised how uneasy she felt. Not sick, not scared, just... Unnerved. Flight was unnatural and the idea that she was essentially being thrown through the air on a metal bird creeped her out. So, she tried to close her eyes and sleep through as much of it as she could.

When they got there, everyone stood around talking to one another. Renn did not. She stood alone, on the edge of the group and flipped through her book. It was a beautifully written romance book based in Paris, that she had purchased just before leaving for the school trip. Renn had never been romanced so she enjoyed reading about such things as drinking tea together, looking at the stars together, holding hands and kissing under the Eiffel tower. She found the whole idea of romance very enjoyable to read about. Eventually, they moved into the limo and it was a bit of a squish with so many of them.

She was staring out of the window with that wistful, faraway look that you see in so many girls her age. She was looking at the architecture and trying to pretend that she was here alone. It was one of her fantasies that one day she'd work in Paris. So, she pretended that she was an adult travelling here alone, on an effort to write her first ever novel. Unfortunately, the nonstop chatting behind her proved otherwise but she was trying her hardest to block that out. She had her guidebook open and was flicking through it as she looked out of the window; trying to identify what everything was. She was excited, though being as reserved as she was, she would never show it.

When they got to the hotel, Renn struggled with her bags- she'd brought as many books as she could carry- all the way up to her room. When she got there, she was disappointed to find that her key wouldn't work in the door. Which meant that she'd have to go all the way back downstairs and ask about her key at the desk. Renn sighed and collapsed against her door. She'd just take a short break before going to find out about her key, just to rest her legs.

"Eifel Tower?" Leonard let out a huff of air, "Don't tell me... you're a romantic?"

He would have said more, but it seemed that they had arrived at their destination. A hotel, but the looks of it. Though he didn't really bother himself with reading the sign. Instead he got out of the car, grabbed his stuff, and headed up to the room with his keycard in hand. It was a nice place for a school trip, better then the junk he had grown up going to. Tossing his bags on the bed, he picked up the remote and flipped through the various French channels.

"Bleh. Bleh." He grumbled, "French. French... oh, that one's Spanish."

It wasn't long before he got bored though, an idea popping into his head as he started towards his door. It being his first night in Paris, he might as well go out and enjoy the city. Shrugging on a his leather jacket, he started for the door. Pulling it open just as a certain blonde was about to knock.

"Well, well... are we a curious one." He mused, teasingly

"Dalton, this one's yours." The teacher said, passing him a card. "Room 406." Daly didn't respond, but instead gave a shallow nod and headed toward the entrance. It seemed like a nice place, though he was more worried about the fact that everyone seemed to be speaking in a language he didn't understand. He tucked his hands deep in his pockets as he made his way to the room his teacher had said, though when he tried the door he found himself silently stuck in the hall.

My luck. He thought gruffly, looking over the card until he noticed the number scribbled in pen at the top. It didn't say the room that the teacher had assigned him. The cards must have been switched.

"Well... I guess I should find the person before we're both stuck outside all night." Shrugging his bags up a bit farther, he started down the hall in the direction he hoped would lead him to whomever had his card. It wasn't long before he found her, seated outside one of the room doors like she had utterly given up.

"Uh... I think our cards were switched." Daly grumbled, coming to a spot in front of her. "Unless you've just decided to take a nap in the hallway."

@Fallen from Heaven

She was surprised when she heard a voice.

"Huh?" Renn looked up to find a boy standing in front of her. When'd he get there?

"Our cards... Switched?" It took Renn a few moments to process what he was saying. Then, she looked down at her card. She turned it over a few times. The number 406 was scribbled in the corner in permanent marker. She tilted her head back and looked up at her door. The numbers didn't match up. And to think, she just thought the key was broken.

"Oh, I'm sorry." she stood up, slowly, using the door behind her to help her up. She held out the card.

"I... I'm an idiot. I'm so sorry." How hadn't she realised sooner? It hadn't occurred to her once that her key might've been switched with somebody else's and that she might be causing somebody else trouble.

"So... You have my key?" Renn said, "May I have it?"

~ DALY ~

"It's fine. I think the teacher got them mixed up is all." He said, removing the card from his pocket so that he could exchange them. "I didn't notice until I got to my room either." With a sense of relief, Daly took his own key from the girl's hand. He hoped that this one would actually work, he didn't want to sit outside even after he had the right key.

"Have a nice night." He gave her a small wave, starting back down the hallway before he paused. "Hey, ah... wait. That book you were reading... at the airport. Is it any good?" He looked down at his feet, sheepishly. It had clearly been a romance book, but to say he was actually interested in that somehow put a stain on his appearance as a man. Not that many people expected him to be macho or even the least bit tough.

"My... mom... was thinking about reading it." A lie, but maybe it would work.

"Thank you." Renn turned to unlock her room and thank the heavens, this key did actually work. The door clicked open and she went to drag her bags inside. Then, the boy spoke again and she turned to look at him.

"Mhm?" Her book? That was a weird thing to ask about. Especially since it meant that he'd been watching her at the airport. Maybe it was a hobby of his; watching girls at airports. It'd been an interesting hobby to write on a job application at least.

"Yes, it is a very good book." Renn said, "Would you like to borrow it? I mean, for your mom. Because... You'd never read anything like that..." She trailed off. She knew he was lying but she wasn't going to mention that. If he wanted to deny his interest in romance books, who was she to stop her? So, she went along with his lie.

"I can find it for you if you want. It's in one of these bags." she nudged her bags with her foot, "So..." She shrugged, "You want to borrow it?"

Kal smirked slightly, "I wanna check out Paris without the witch on my trail, and being alone isn't smart. Just thought I should bring the big bad wolf with me." She giggled and nodded toward the elevator. "Come on.... unless you're scared." She winked and started walking toward the elevator humming.

She presssd the button to go down and leaned against the wall, they were on the 4th floor so it shouldn't take the elevator long to get their floor.

Ludo was given a card to his room and made his way to it, entering the room to simply drop of his things before stepping out again searching for his friends. Despite the long flight, he was too excited to rest wanting to explore the city immediately, seeing the various sights and clubs. He changed to his brown pants and jacket before stepping out of his room seeing Kal and Eve by the elevator.

"Kal , Eve! I see you guys have the same idea, non? Going to explore i mean?"He said with a smile.

Eric had stayed silent for most of the journey to the hotel which was largely due to the fact that he had been listening to music to the entire time which drowned out every other sound.

Before he knew it he was standing outside a rather fancy looking hotel room door, holding a keycard in his hand. He nudged the headphones from his ears, leaving them hanging down his shirt. The sounds of distant chatting could be heard in the hallway. He swiped the keycard and with the flicker of a green light he heard the door unlock.

"Fancy.." He mumbled to himself as he turned the door knob.

Within a few minutes he was back outside in the hallway now wearing a brown jacket, headphones blaring in his ears, he looked down the hall towards the elevator where he saw a few people from the group standing, he barely knew any of them except for Kal.

Eva saw Daly talking to a girl and shrugged, she looked for someone else to accompany. She saw a boy she recognized around school and walked over, "do you wanna go look around with me? I-I mean it wouldn't be safe for me to go on my own..." she stuttured and loooked st the elevator where Kal was. She looked back at the boy with a friendly smile. She remembered all he did on the plane was listen to music seemingly bored, "I know my way around Paris very well... it'll be fun." She assured him.
