Nichole tried to keep herself warm and tried to stay awake. But was starting to pass out. Her injuries werent major but were playing a part. Cella kicked the door. "Stay awake!"
 
(Got it)


The wind began to turn harsh and tossed Aaron around. His eyes were focused on the castle that showed when lightning struck close to it. The clouds felt on the edge of raining, but not even a drop fell from the sky as he navigated the merciless wind. 'I might be able to use Nichole's power with her pendant...' He speculated while reducing his altitude so he could land outside the castle's wall. Sending a questions to Nichole, Aaron asked "Where are you? Below ground? High up? Floor level?"

'Below ground. Im in a damp d-dark dungeon. ' she sent back. Nichole looked at cella and weakly put a field up around herself. Then looked down closing her eyes.
 
"I got it." Aaron sent to her while thinking of a plan. "I need to see if I'm able to use more powers. It could end up like last time if I don't try something new.' He thought to himself while gazing up at the giant wall. After trying and failing to control fire, earth, air, and even light, Aaron was left with trying water. He focused on water coming from his palm, but had no idea if it would work. Water jetted from his hand and smashed into a tree. The tree made a crack noise, yet retained its position. With a slight smile at his new power, Aaron flew over the wall and landed in a decrepit courtyard.
 
There were goons everywhere on guard. "Dude what do you think of the princess?"one asked his friend. He chuckled and said"I would totally go in that dungeon. She's weak without her pendant you know."smirking. They patrolled the area keeping an eye our for suspicious characters.
 
Aaron kept himself low to the ground as he hid behind a large fallen stone from the castle. "Lightning and water are great team, but more so in the correct order.' He thought while scanning the guards patrol routes. '3...2...1.' Aaron ran toward the now less-guarded building entrance and drenched the guards. They were about to use their powers, but were electrocuted before they could their hands. Aaron quickly opened the door and entered into the great hall of the castle.
 
Quickly noting that one of the door's were heavily guarded, he immediately guessed that it must be the door to the dungeon. Aaron tried to wet every guard but two had slipped behind cover. Ignoring the ones that hid, he electrocuted the other guards and rushed to the door. He was knocked to the ground by a large piece of earth. The two guards stood over him with their palms pointed to him. 'Nichole needs your help.' He told himself. His body instantly replied by grabbing the legs of both men and forcing them to fall toward. Without letting the two get up, Aaron used his electricity to stop them. He returned to the slight ajar door and began descending the stairs.
 
Nichole looked up hearing foot steps. The guards near the door of her cell got their weapons ready. They saw aaron and one ran at him with his sword. Nichole closed her eyes making him freeze in place.
 
A guard almost ran him through with a sword, but froze right before it could touch him. Surprised by the sudden threat, Aaron shot a lightning bolt from his hand that made the man fall to the ground. The other gaurd used his axe to try and cut him in half, but Aaron moved just in time for only his clothes to be sliced. Quickly he shocked the man with a lightning ball from his horn. Gasping for air from the extensive energy use, Aaron grabbed a key hanging on the wall. He turned to Nichole and said with a weak smile "I made it."
 
Nichole nodded and released the man from her hold. she smiled softly. "T-thank you."crawling over to door of the cell. "Are you alright aaron?" Noticing he was tired. Then heard rushed foot steps. "Hurry and hide! I sense labyaith!"she whispered.
 
Spotting an open barrel, Aaron climbed into it and hid as best he could. The barrel had a thin layer of grain at the bottom making any slight movement louder. The sound of the steps now sounded very close making him very anxious of what might happen.
 
Labyaith walked up to the cell and grinned at nichole n "so where's your lover 'princess'? Did he chicken out on saving you?" He said smirking. Nichole glared at him and tried to blast him with the little magic she had left in her. She felt very tired. But tried not to show it. Labyaith absorbed her magic and chuckled darkly. "Sad really. " blasting it back at her. Nichole hit the wall and cried out. She held one of her wings whimpering.
 
Aaron held back the rage that was swelling inside of him. 'Should I wait and escape with Nichole? It won't stop if we run. He will keep sending monsters after us no matter where we go. The only way to stop this is to kill him...' He thought to himself trying to decide on what to do. Aaron sent his voice to Nichole "Keep his attention on you. I'm going to try something." He began to focus all his energy into his horn and hands. 'The lightning and water should hit him at the same time making it a quick powerful attack.
 
Nichole said"y-you're a coward!" Labyaith said"what did you say wretch!?!" Opening the cell door and walked in. Nichole said"you heard me! You're nothing but a coward! You send others to do your bidding! You hide beh-gasp!" Labyaith held her up by her throat and slammed her against the wall making a crater. "You say im a coward. But who's the weak one? Princess. " spitting out the princess part. Nichole glared at him weakly and said"y-you gasp. Are cough nothing."strugglimg to breathe.
 
As fast as Aaron could, he popped out of the barrel and released a lightning fast jet of water and electricity at Labyaith. He noticed that the man was touching Nichole, but he hoped that the water would conduct most the electricity to the man and not her.
 
Labyaith yelled in pain and nichole screamed some. She gritted her teeth and put her feet on labyaith kicking him off her. He continued to yell and nichole slid down the wall semi conscious.
 
Aaron had no energy for his powers, but he knew the man was still alive. He picked up the short sword from one of the guards and planted it into Labyaith's back while he still was in a daze. Aaron was extremely exhausted after using his last bit of strength, so much so that he was barely conscious.
 
Nichole forced herself up and ran over to aaron. She placed her necklace on and looked at aaron. Then placed his head in her lap. Nichole blushed and kissed him giving him a boost of energy
 
Aaron blushed when Nichole kissed him. He looked at her with a lovingly expression and with slightly restored energy, picked himself up. "Let's leave before anyone else comes." He said with a slight smile as he held her hand.
 
"I can try to fly us close to the castle we were at." Aaron said when he noticed her wincing from moving her bent wing. He began to run up the stairs with Nichole in tow.
 
"I'm fine." He laughed then seriously asked her in turn "Are you alright?" He opened the door to show the eerily empty great hall.
