Hello all! Today’s interest check comes after a long hiatus of starting new roleplays. There’s been a gnawing in my soul to delve into more writing, hence my callout for fellow writers!
My name is Bren, a 24 year old from the UK (she/her). My hobbies include creating chainmail jewellery and writing! I am a fine art graduate as of 2022. I adore angsty romance, especially within the fantasy genre! My favourite books of this year have been The Assasin’s Apprentice and Gawain & The Green Knight
• Literate-Novella: I appreciate that not all posts can be huge lengths long, but I do prefer at least three paragraphs for each post. Internal voice, emotion and worldbuilding are huge pluses for me
• Adults: The themes do not have to be inherently explicit in nature, but due to my age (24), I would prefer a writer who is of similar or above my age
• MxM: I only roleplay MxM pairings. Side characters, if we chose to partake in them, can be any pairings but the primary “ship” being MxM. This, without a doubt, can include male presenting trans characters!
• OOC: I adore OOC chatter whether it’s just about the characters or even day to day life (my current writers have become good friends over the years we have written together!)
• Ghosting: I understand that some players understand they want to leave an RP almost instantly as they don’t get a strong vibe to continue. This is absolutely fine with me, but a message to say you’re not continuing is appreciated
• Pairing: I do prefer to play the “top”
• Discord: I usually play on Discord due to the server option where we can dedicate channels to certain places and have channels for lore, outfits, media etc
Stories/Fandom/Themes
• Arcane (JayVik): I adore these two characters but would only be interested in an AU that does not reside within the world of Arcane. Either angsty slice of life, fantasy, anything. I’m happy to play either but would prefer to play the “top” for use of a better word.
• Fantasy: Anything elven related. It’s fun to build the world together. This could be part of a quest they are both engaged on, a war etc.
• LOTR/TH: This would be purely oc x oc, or I could perhaps play Thranduil if that’s your persuasion.
• Realm of The Elderlings: I love this series so much but I have only just finished the first book. Happy to play Fitz/Fool or an oc x oc
• Horror: Lost in the woods, vampiric, haunted house, creature feature, monster/human, detective/monster
• Interview With The Vampire: Either TVL book or AMC vibes. I’m happy for this to be canon characters, Lestat/OC or both OC!
• Angsty, doomed love, prophecies, countryside landscape, dark academia
