Fantasy Lost Vampire girl (always open)

After thanking the very polite maid, Samatha rushed down the stairs, her eyes closed, her wing cleaned, and her face bright with a smile. "Sylas, the woman upstairs was so ni-" She paused, opening her eyes and growing red with embaressment. "Oh, hi! You must be the 'master' persona from before, right?"

Dr. Wyrmwood Scott

The Doctor - noting that her mind was curiously open - decided to enter it. As his eyes made contact with hers, the world around the two of them fell away, and they were in a large empty space - where time moved moved differently than in reality. In that single moment of recognition, they could have an entire conversation without it seeming strange to those outside of the mind link.

"Evening. I realize this is rude, But I could not help myself. I just needed to say hello to you personally. It is not everyday one literally meets an angel fallen from grace. I am Dr. Wyrmwood Scott. You might call me Wyrmwood, or if that is too informal - Dr. Scott will do." His psychic form seemed very different from that of his Physical one. His entire body was cast in shadow, and only the outlines could be made out - along with his eyes and mouth.

Samantha was very confused, but ignored her confusing and simply smiled as her spiritual being. "Ah, well, yes. I'm Samantha, but I'm sure your lovely assistant had informed you of that." She noted, before continuing to speak. "And I'm not that rare, I don't think..."

"You misunderstand... there have been many Angelic being's who have walked the earth. (His eyes glinted in an almost fond manner, and his smile seemed almost playful) But not all of them were Angels. (He giggled at his word play) I am fascinated to know, what you know. I have spent so many years, focused on the now - the material. Gaining mastery over all knowledge on this earth - that I have not yet found time to turn my thoughts to the here-after.  Do you recall any of it? With any clarity? Even if it were but images, or impressions - here you have to but only think of it, and will it be shared - and I shall know as you know."

She frowned, shaking her head. "Well, honestly, It's just white, if you can believe that. White and calm. As if you were just dropped into a jug of milk..." She paused. "I have no way of describing it to you...

"I must say... that description is rather... distressing. Literally all of my academic interest has shriveled up in actually going there. Imagine, a world without Ambition. A world without anything new to learn. An eternity of mellow nothingness! Surely - It might drive anyone mad. What about the alternative? If you rebel, are you sent back to earth as a primary measure, or could you then be sent somewhere else? What about hell? Is that a thing? I know demons exist, and they have a realm - but does that realm serve as antithesis to heaven?" The world moved slightly and a pair of chairs and a burning fireplace faded into existence. Wyrmwood walked over and sat in one of the chairs, the light on his skin showing that it was actually made of scales, that were pitch black and glassy. He held out an open palm to the other chair.

She slowly walked over to the chair. "L-look... I-I don't feel very comfortable being bombarded with all of these questions." She stuttered out, looking down. "Hell is real, yes, but its perceived as worse to live as an immortal on earth, than to burn. Especially when you sin greatly." She nodded.

He lifted his palms, and waved them at her in a placating manner - his eyes going wide. "I am sorry for causing you distress! It was not my intention. I guess that is just my mind... always busy. Never quiet... If I took the time, I could remember every day since my sixth birthday - every second, every small kindness done, every unfairness done unto me, all the love and hate in this world - I guess, I just decided to douse my mind in academia. A distraction, which became a habit. And now I can think of things outside of myself, and ignore those things inside that might break me. But, let us not focus on such morose things (he chuckled)

Let me welcome you to this realm. I am aware that the kind Lord Briarwood has extended his courtesy to you - and I would suggest you take it. The world is a dangerous and difficult place for beings who can not face suffering. Even more so for those who trust too easily. While I wish not to cast doubt in your mind - know for all his polish, that Briarwood can be a cruel man. Many like him too easily justify the horrors in their lives under self convinced guises of cursed and tortured souls. If I could give you one bit of advice - accept charity, for it is rare - but always doubt it. Doubt it's motivations. Doubt it's means. Doubt Those that seek to help you. For if they do not fail you it is a triumph, and if they do - you will be prepared." He sat back, and folded his hands together on his lap, smiling softly at her.

Niklaus Aston

He grunted when he was jumped on and just stared up at him with an unamused look "Nope" he said as he reached up and messed up Luke's wet hair with a devilish grin "I have no idea what you want  from me, Lukeybear" he whispered the last part all seductive like

"Lukeybear?" Luke looked at him weird and then smirked and got off of him then went to his drawer and picked up some clothes, "Just close your eyes... After-all this is MY room... Or look if you want." Luke then put on a plain sleeveless white shirt then put on some pajama bottoms then he throws his towel in the hamper and lays back down sighing and rubbing his eyes, "Now go to sleep Klaus..." Luke faces the opposite way of the bed and starts to doze off.

He grinned a little and rolled over so he couldn't see him changing anyway "Used to call you that all the time,  though I'm sure you've forgotten by now" he commented before feeling Luke  get into the bed, Once he knew Luke was dozing off he rolled to face him, wrapping an arm around his waist gently and nuzzling his face against the back of the males neck while releasing a content sigh "Damn I missed this" he whispered mostly to himself, assuming Luke had already fallen asleep

( god... I am trying to seduce into madness and then dissect (either alive or not) a kind and charming fallen Angel... and you two are cuddling. I feel like a monster  :(  - Still cute BTW. I like the tonal dissonance.)

By halfway through the night Luke starts to have nightmares, courtesy of Lucius. Lucius always used this to send Luke a message. In this nightmare Lucius tortures Klaus just to get back at Luke and he makes Luke watch him kill Klaus in front of him slowly and painfully and Luke is helpless to stop him. Soon enough Luke jumps up panting heavily with his eyes wide open. Luke looks over at Klaus and he sighs in relief. Then Luke gets up an goes to his kitchen to get a blood-bag.

(I think the Doctor should meet this... Lucius  ^_^  )

Due to the amount of stress he was under the previous day Klaus didn't wake up during Luke's nightmares like he usually would, though did stir slightly when the bed moved as Luke got up and grumbled quietly, he opened his eyes and pat the bed were Luke was in confusion before looking over at the light on in the hallway. He frowned and sat up, wandering out while cringing at the brightness of the light "You okay? It's like three in the morning" he said in a sleepy tone

Luke sat by the fire and was drinking from the blood-bags, "Yea... Just a nightmare... Im sorry I woke you..." Luke didn't want Klaus to worry nor was he gonna let that nightmare come true, "Lets go back to sleep..." When Luke was done with his drink he threw it out and walked back to the bed with Klaus, 'I won't let him take you... I won't lose you again.'

He frowned a little more when he heard the reason and as Luke tried to go past him he grabbed his arm "Don't apologize for that, idiot" he said as he turned Luke and pulled him into a surprisingly gentle hug despite how strong he was. "You could've woken me up y'know...you didn't have to leave" he said quietly as he held him for a moment before tilting Luke's chin up to look at him, swiping his thumb over a bit of blood left on his mouth and then licking it off with a smirk. Klaus is very cuddly and sweet when he's tired.

"I didn't want to... I liked how cute you looked when you were sleeping..." Luke smiled and kissed his lips, "Let's go back to sleep now..." Luke picked Klaus up over his shoulders then went to his bedroom and layed Klaus on Luke's bed then Luke crawled into bed with him and then places his hands at Klaus's waist and snuggled up behind him then kisses his neck, "Night." Luke closed his eyes slowly and he fell asleep.

He blinked as he was lifted and laughed a little bit "Excuse me I'm supposed to be the manly one" he complained but didn't squirm, Once he was set in the bed he looked down at him with a smug grin, sliding his hands down to grasp Luke's and pull them up "What was that kiss just then?" he teased, not letting him go to sleep that easily

Luke sighs then sits up, "You know exactly what it was... And I will always do it." Luke kisses his cheek smiling, "I just wish you would admit you still do have feelings for me."

Lord Briarwood
"I arrived a couple of months ago, still trying to settle in. Moving country and estate really do tax oneself." The Lord replied, guiding his guest into the
manor; just as a host should.

At the excited shout, and sweet tone it was impossible to ignore the angel who sped down the staircase towards them. "Ah, Samantha, you look stunning." Sylas inclined his head, "You're indeed right about our visitor, though, this is Doctor Wyrmwood Scott. He'll be joining us for supper. And please, Nicolai. Behave for once, I have no doubt the Doctor would not be appreciative of your antics." Briarwood gave a charming smile to all whom stood within the hall.

Hands folded behind his back. However, at the silence and stare of Wyrmwood, the vampire lay his heavy palm upon the bespectacled man's shoulder. "Is everyone quite alright? I do suggest we move to the smoking room, or what once was."
Glancing between Sam and the current guest, Sylas appeared somewhat suspicious. Nonetheless, he mentioned nothing. "Well! Doctor Scott, might I ask what you're currently working on? I've never been a man of science myself, but I have witnessed the progression. Nikola Tesla, Charles Darwin - lovely men. Fathers of the future, once named, and rightly so."

Dr. Wyrmwood Scott & Eris

The doctor broke the connection, and becoming aware that the connection had lingered a bit, he brought his eyes down, and rubbed his chin. By the second prompt of the Lord he looked over, as if he had been caught up in thought, "Excuse me?" He was quickly 'helped' by Eris. "Master, you were lost in thought again... it't unbecoming to do so in polite company" She giggled cutely. The doctor made sure to look abashed, before focusing on the Lord once more. "Forgive me - my mind never quiets and even when I am in a social situation I divest at least a portion of my consciousness to my work... and sometimes even that is enough to whisk me away." He looked over at Eris again, raising an eyebrow. "Lord Briarwood enquired as to your work... something I am sure he will wish he hadn't momentarily." She smiled coyly at the the vampire. "Nonsense! I am sure Lord Briarwood loves a good riddle as much as the next being. (He started towards where Briarwood had directed, walking in a leisurely pace reminiscent of a lecturer discussing a topic with a first year.) Having never been much of a sorcerer myself I have always had to draw my power from an external source. This has always been an irksome past of my being, as I have the capacity to understand and create magic on a vast and complex scale - yet rarely am I able to actually use it. I guessed, correctly I might add, that the key to overcoming this would be hidden in the Biological constructs and constraints of the body. While Magic remains a majorly a cross dimensional Psychometric manifestation of selective Meta-probability manipulation through a causal agent - It has taken upon me that the qualities of said causal agent to interact with these "possibility modifiers" are determined by, a then still undefined native cosmo-biological system. I believed that this This system seemingly interacts with a rather distinctive - still-theoretical demi-plane that I am unable to actually observe - but when I interrupt the mechanism that I theorise facilitates this action - then the magical capacity is, if not removed entirely - hindered greatly. The problem then arose, that the only way to reliably then increase ones synchronicity with this theoretical demi-plane - is to have the system naturally construct itself. It turns out that the initial fluctuations I observed, were actually just a natural and completely random transference between multiple examples of said source. It appears that one cannot draw from a single source for more than a non-determinable arbitrary span established when first making contact with said power source, before you will be moved to another nearly identical one, thus creating the natural fluctuations known in all magic - something that a natural magic user's magical framework can adapt to, while an unnatural one can not. (He took a deep breath, and everyone could hear Eris sigh in the background) Thus, I began to develop my own demi-Plane - as well as my own biological transference system. I found that if you can create the systems from scratch, and establish a coherent link between them, before then linking that "go between" demi-plane to the rest of the network, essentially syphoning off power into a more stable network that can be regulated... then theoretically you would have limitless power, to facilitate limitless potential. The problem with this is that the magic and science needed to create the paramaters to not only create these, but also define them - are so nebulous that it tends to become rather overwhelming just considering the vast scale of things that need to be understood and prepared and defined and... Oh gods... I have been rambling haven't I? Was anything I said coherent?" His eyes, which had gone glassy, were no focussed on lord Briarwood, while Eris only shook her head. "That happens sometimes... sorry."
