Fantasy Lost Vampire girl (always open)

(the good doctor is a very cautious "man" - he spends all his time planning and circumventing that which he sees as the greatest flaw in all beings... Mortality - rather flawed immortality"

(Why did you bite the snake you fool!? It's clearly on your side!)

Shhhhhh lemme reword that I misread the post

Lord Briarwood
The Lord stood up, his gaze across the battlefield towards Samantha. "IT WILL KILL YOU. SAMANTHA. IT WILL - KILL YOU." The vampire bellowed, putting his hand out. "STAY AWAY. DON'T TREAD FORWARDS, I BEG OF YOU." Already, his sharply cut features had smeared with dirt. Already that perfect head of hair touseled. And for that moment - a pure sense of panic flooded his features. Worry. For his deadpan and stoic expressions, by comparison, it displayed another side. Breaking the chains of his own entrapment.

More heavy breathing on her part, more panic and distorition of the thoughts in her head. She didn't want to watch the events, but she couldn't stop staring. "P-please Sylas!" She yelped, continuing to watch. "M-maybe I can help! L-let me help!"

She heard the Old one scream at the passive angel - Gods... are they that pathetic? Her vision blurred as her master made a telepathic connection (The angel needs to be prompted - ease down on the restraints... push her. If she is in lethal danger - you intervene. Save the Old one as well. The wolf is boring. If he dies, the knife is to be brought to me.) Dammit... always has to be in control. She took a deep breath, and informed the snake to 'lessen it's hold, as if overpowered' - she on the other hand moved back into the brush and started to prepare and Major level Peace Seal - it would take time though. She hoped they manage without her. The snake would help them as a bludgeoning tool in the meantime.

The moment he bit into the creature his entire mouth burned with the intensity of the sun. He ended up being flung back and against a tree with enough force to break a normal humans spine. He howled in pain as he hit the ground while clutching his face which was now burnt and smoking ever so slightly. He felt like he was dying despite knowing he wouldn't- his entire mouth felt like it was on fire.

the godly beast  found itself being coiled around or atleast trying to and he decided to snap down his jaws onto one of the snake heads growling as his head whipped  back and forth tearing up it's flesh. when sylas slashed the bade across his legs more ooze splattered down in a big disgusting mess and the monsterous gatekeeper let out a sheer cry of pain. he smacked the lord down before tossing him up and back like a bug snarling and flipped up his skull snout  shaking  his head with a scream. his eyes glowed intensely and he screamed again as his body began to shift it's form again making much more obvious he was in pain.

After watching both Sylas and Nicolai hurt, Samantha duly decided that it was time for her to try to take action. She slowly began to make her way towards the beast. Her steps were light, and her wings were tucked tightly behind her back. "L-look here, boy..." She muttered quietly. "L-lets not hurt everyone, okay? I know that your cut must hurt pretty bad..." And then she began to slowly make a 'shushing' sound, creeping her way over.

High, in one of the trees - hidden completely from sight and sense - a snake focused completely on her - it's eyes narrowing. In a lab far away, a man groaned in irritation.

Lord Briarwood
As his
shouts ended, ones of warning, he was crushed towards the floor, silver blade piercing his own hands through the leather gloves - till being wrenched up. Suddenly thrown, his body like a ragdoll, collided with the trees and foliage. Yet he was made of tougher stuff than that. Although weakened, disorientated and somewhat smeared by rivulets of red - the tearing of skin already healing over. Alas, as he stumbled to his feet, Sylas' eyes widened. "SAMANTHA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He yelled, knowing very well he'd quite literally been dragged through a bush and perhaps his appearance would've been more relative to a madman.

He panted, growling through the pain as he forced himself back up though his back was aching something fierce. He began stalking towards the back of the beast before noticing Samantha. He huffed and glared at her, snarling in warning in the girls direction before beginning to stalk through the trees, out of sight and quietly enough to not be noticed over the sound of the ooze splashing against the ground and the yelling that the fool Lord was doing. He stopped, silently observing from the treeline as the silver-infused scales of the creature rendered himself rather useless and his face was pretty badly injured, beginning to crack and bleed aswell.

those lavender eyes focused on the female as the creature towered over her snarling. too much unstableness. too much power. it hurt. he heaved heavily as black oozed from the god's mouth. it shook it's head with another cry before his eyes widened somthing lumicent and blue fluid fell down it's face as it slammed itself down into the ground bursting into black smoke and formed into what looked to be a boy on all fours heaving and bleeding heavily. his face was red and he seemed to have a fever as he vomitted a good amount of blood. his rage subsided and body reverted but he didnt know how long it would stay that way.

Samantha watched quietly, and when the monster transformed into a boy, her heart began to race and she panicked again. She glanced back at Sylas and Nicolai, before looking back to the boy. "A-are you okay?" She asked, walking closer once agin.

Lord Briarwood
Amazed, wasn't quite the right word for it. Shocked, perhaps. In any case, he jogged forwards. If he had a heart - it'd be in his throat with the passing moments that ensued. How she'd managed to stop the monster, with a few words and whispers, accompanied by low mumbles. By instinct, he felt as if he should be heaving, yet nothing alike exhaustion came. Nothing but the slight burn of his palm and ache in his bones. Upon finally, reaching her side, he placed his palm upon her shoulder. "Be careful." He nodded slowly, Sylas, eyeing the feverish figure at his feet. "Creatures tend to take upon unassuming looks of innocence. Such as children." Nonetheless, he
leant downwards with a hushed tone. Beckoning Samantha closer - just in case he was to turn once more. "Boy, lad, do you understand me?" He called, tone delicate, soothing.

Once he'd seen the boy seemingly transform he returned to his own human form, clutching the dagger in his hand as he emerged from the treeline, the the entire left side of his face was burnt and looked pretty bad as were his lips and partially up the right side of his face. He walked towards them with a rather angry, vengeful look in his eyes as he glared at the boy from across the battlefield, paying no mind to the fact the boy appeared injured he suddenly was standing over the boy with that same evil look, very different from the joking, cocky one he had not long ago. No he was angry, and he could easily kill this boy right now if he wanted to. He didn't even look at the girl or the Lord, He solely glared down at  the boy with daggers in his eyes.

Lord Briarwood
Briarwood stood up, as soon as Nicolai began to loom. An intent in his eyes, Sylas knew all too well. Grasping at the wolf, to shove him over towards the side. His eyes narrowed and not in the best mood for homicidal tendencies. The same he'd experienced himself, only moments previous. "Nicolai, this battle his over. Restrain yourself man. We'll find you some medical assistance as soon as we can. But you put down that knife, and you look at me." Briarwood snapped, his hand still clutching a fistful of the males collar. "Recognise the appearance, of this child. And then recognise who you are to kill him. For all we know, he might be still in his youth. I have no doubt this was brought on by something other than ourselves, or perhaps even a simple will to wreak chaos. You are better than this. Wolf." It was as if scolding a child for bad behaviour, especially with the stern, sincerity that invaded his once comforting baritone voice.

Samantha bit her lip and burst into tears, putting her hands over her face and sitting down on the woodland floor. "S-sylas! W-we hurt a boy! A-and now he's feverish and h-horrible!" She continued, crying harder. "I-I can't do this!"

Eris Leavold

She immediately sensed the change. The thing had been subdued - even without her aid. Impressive. Perhaps there was hope for this one after all. She sniffed, and dismissed the giant - now eight headed serpent. She picked up the seal - which was almost done anyway, and ran out for the brush towards them. "I have a seal that should calm it for a while - if it becomes Violent again. It might-" She looked at the boy - his apparent fever - and suddenly "realised" something her master had shared earlier. "The change is contextual - the obvious fever! This form must be suppressing the other, and the vast amounts of power needed to facilitate the other form. These are the symptoms of power overload - we need to syphon some of it off him!" She did her best to convey in as sincere a manner as possible - the urgency and conviction she as supposed to feel. "Do any of you have any idea's?" She looked around "frantically" to the others.

Lord Briarwood
Split between the tears of Samantha, and the anger of Nicolai - he exhaled in a decisive manner. At last, releasing the wolf; disappointment lingering, the vampire trudged back towards the form of the sobbing angel. Crumpled upon the woodland floor. Kneeling beside her, Sylas placed his palm upon her back. Moving in a slow, circular movement, protective in the manner of which he leant over her. Not sure, whether to hug or give comfort from where he sat currently. "We did what we had to. Otherwise, he would've hurt others. We can amend ourselves, and bring him back now - from the precipice." Glancing upwards to the young female messenger, Briarwood closed his eyes off a moment. "You know what syphoning off him requires? Two bodies. Or perhaps some astral plain one might be able to direct it towards. I have only read, not meddled in this type of thing."

Nicolai Rumancek

He snarled as Sylas grabbed his collar, finally averting his eyes just for a moment "That thing is no boy" he snapped as he grabbed Sylas' wrist and ripped it off of himself, ripping his shirt collar in the process "That thing could've killed you- killed us all" he said harshly before glaring down at him again, then at Samantha "Stop your fucking whining, it's giving me a headache" he snapped before he heard the woman from earlier speak up. He looked over at her and nodded "Well I have a few but these two wouldn't be too pleased about them" he said in an arrogant tone

Samantha layed her head on Sylas' shoulder. "No one deserves to get hurt..." She mumbled, sniffling and using her sleeve to rub her eyes. "No. One. It's just... idiotic...". She then looked back at Nicolai. "We are not killing him." She growled, before getting up and stomping. "Okay? I don't care what we have to do, but we are not fucking killing him!" Samantha frowned and went back to sitting where she was before.
