"There was...a ...coming from that bush..." Valoi said. The Bush countinued to rustle, until a beast lunged out and attacked Valoi and Mir. It jumped on top of Mir, pinning him to the ground.
 
"Get off!" Mir yelled in fear as he blasted it with a light blue beam, knocking it backwards off him.
 
After his brother had knocked the animal on it's back, Valoi jumped onto the animal, and began attacking it like it had his brother. Viscious snarls and growls came from both animals.
 
Valoi attacked visciously with his foreclaws, lashing out with all his fury, before using his hind legs to launch the creature off of him. The animal hit the ground, wimpered, and stalked away. Valoi walked over to his brother. "Mir? Are you okay?" He was breathing heavily. Valoi had a gash going down his soft underbelly, that was threatening to take a threshold over his consciousness.
 
"Y-Yes... A-Are you you hurt...?" Mir nodded before asking and found the wound on Valoi soft underbelly and casted a heal spell on the wound.
 
"Well whatever It was, It was mean, and...you know...I haven't fought that hard since...well...you know." Valoi said, once recalling the time he defended Mir from a pack of wolves. "It looked more...feral...and it was big to...I have the sudden urge to leave here...fast." Valoi started running through the woods. Checking behind him to make sure Mir was still there.
 
Mir quickly followed Valoi, luckily his brother's running speed is not as fast as his flying speed.
 
"Ugh this place never ends!" Valoi said in frustration. "We're never going to get out of here!" He flew upwards to see what was above the trees. "Oh my gosh..." Valoi flew back down and described what he saw to Mir. "There...theres these mountains, no two mountains that are like giant spikes..and inbetween the two mountains is a giant hovering gemstone!" With renewed determination Valoi began traveling towards the mountains.
 
"Well come on then!" Valoi said as he bolted into the air. He hovered above the leaves of the trees "see!" Valoi pointed to a massive crystal floating between two thin mountains.
 
"Whoa..." was all what Mir said before climbing onto Valoi's back.


"Let's fly there then." Mir smiled.
 
"Hey! Oh...wow you heavy!" Valoi struggled to regain his momentum as Mir climbed onto his back. "You so owe me one for this!" He said as he began flying towards the mountain.

"Well now I only owe you 2 atleast." "Plus I saved you from that thing earlier..but you healed my wounds so that cance- Oh whatever just hold on tight!)

As soon Valoi was sure Mir had a tight grip, he quickened his pace greatly, occasionally breaking into a small dive to gain speed. And sometimes, if you listened, you could hear Valoi mumble: "Lazy hitchiker..."
 
"Practice makes perfect and you are not practicing so..." Valoi said without looking back. "Aren't you a little concerned I might be getting exhausted over here?"
 
"Ahhh...that really takes pressure off my wings!" Valoi said. Valoi looked behind him to see that Mir was falling behind, so Valoi slowed down and became even with him. "Listen, Mir, If we don't get home, promise you'll be okay alright?" Valoi said.
