Valoi recalled the voices words from before: "Fear is the greatest teacher, today, you have learned." He hadn't meant to change the way he had, but his fears...provide him with strength...and that's why he had been able to injure Mir without much effort, he was afraid of being alone, so he converted fear into strength. "I'm sorry Mir...I understand. I know why you're doing this. Goodbye Mir." Valoi said before grabbing the gem, and leaving the tent.
 
Mir continued to sob under the blanket in the tent. First the 'nightmare' then Valoi changed. It's just too much for him...
 
Valoi left the village, and went to a secluded area nearby, and sat down on a rock. He made sure noone was around...and he Weeped. He cried for the self he had lost, he cried for the lack of faith Mir had in him, and he cried...for his family. Who knew what they were doing?


(Quick side note, you can control Kazel aswell, he's a neutral ground character)
 
Just as then, Mir was struck with another 'nightmare-trance'. Kazel stepped in and chacked on Mir. After he saw what waw happening, he tried to comfort Mir and he slowly eased down again. Kazel then walked out of the tent to find Valoi.
 
Valoi cried, until he until he could cry no more. He sat there, pondering what would happen, if the roles were reveresed, what if Valoi was in Mir's position? Would he die? Would Mir live?
 
"Mir has been through breakdowns and breakdowns! Don't you wanted to get him out of those?!" Kazel snarled.
 
"Of course I do Kazel. But I can't help him, he despises me. He...hates his own brother Kazel...he does..." Valoi responded.
 
"It's all because of the gem you picked up and still holding. Get rid of it. When he healed, he can and will help you away from it." Kazel calmed down and said.
 
"So you valued the gem more than your brother. Tch. I know how Mir has been feeling now. Being betrayed by his own brother by a mere gem." Kazol said, still with the disgusted tone.
 
"Alright alright. I'll leave you alone with your 'precious gem'." Kazel said before going back to the village.
 
Valoi stepped extremly close to Kazel. "He's my brother. Stop protecting him. Your not his guardian." Valoi shoved the gem onto Kazel, and Kazel took it.
 
"Then you must protect him then." Kazel nodded with a smile before throwing the gem onto the ground and crushed it under his paw.
 
Valoi shuddered as the gem was crushed. His vision was hazy, and his thoughts were blurred. Before he knew it Darkness engulfed him, and consciousness slipped farther...and farther away...
 
"C'mon Valoi... You can get through this..." Kazel sighed before picking Valoi up and headed back to the village.
 
Valoi's mind was blank, empty, useless. For the first time...Valoi felt...empty. without purpose...meaningless, and another possibility aswell


Insane.
 
Valoi, after sometime, awoke, and was in tremendous pain, to the point where it was almost unbearable. However, it was only short bursts of pain instead of continued endless pain such as Mir.


(We can timeskip to get Mir up and moving :3)
