Lost Brothers (1x1) [Telios & RememberMe]

Telios

Onyx Dragon
"What about a race, brother?" Mir asked, lying on the field with his bigger brother, Valoi. The breeze were blowing gently on the grassy field near Mount Draco. The place where dragons live.

@RememberMe

Valoi looked up from examining a beetle to answer his brother's question. "Well, I can't guarantee that I'll go easy on you like last time..." He said with a grin. He lined up next to his brother, and said: "From here, to Mount Draco, on the count of 3." He said with a fierce gaze in his eyes. "1..."He focused his thoughts "2..." Time to fly... "3!"

Mir flew as fast as he can to the top but his wings were still tiny compared to his brother's. After Valoi reach the top for a while the Mir arrived with a sigh.

"I think that was your best time yet!" Valoi said once his brother had finally finished. "Still, not quite fast enough though, maybe when your older." He spoke "Maybe it's because of that dumb ol' eggshell you got on your head, it's weighing you down!" Valoi always liked to tease Mir about that Eggshell on his head, he never took it off, he didn't know if it was stuck or if he just really liked it..."Say, you wanna go explore the canyon?" He asked his brother.

"Not the eggshell... but ok. Let's go." Mir sighed with a nod before flying down the mountain, heading to the nearby canyon.

As Valoi flew down the mountain towards the canyon He wondered where Mir would be without. He had always watched out for his little brother for as long as he could remember, But what if he hadn't been there? Valoi put aside the thought as he entered the canyon. The place smelled of death and dust.

".....I don't think this is safe..." Mir said to Valoi, looking around as he descended into the canyon next to him.

"Oh everything will be fine. Just hope we don't get attacked by some canyon monster!" Valoi walked through the anyon looking at various things as he walked. One of the things that intrigued him was some odd looking bones he had found, they were quite large, and didn't look like any sort of dragon he'd ever seen. "Hey Mir! Look at these bones!" He called out.

".....Bones? S-Something d-died here...?" Mir slowly flew over to Valoi, trembling at the thought something died here.

"Well, sure, maybe it got stuck here and couldn't fly out?" Valoi wondered. "But it doesn't look anything like a dragon to me." He examined the bones for a little while longer before leaving "C'mon I bet there's more to see!"

"I wonder what lives down here.." Valoi said as he continued walking. After sometime, Valoi noticed a split in the canyons wall. Curious he slid into the slit and began shuffling slowly.

"Brother... Is it safe...?" Mir asked, hovering in front of the split as he pondered if he should go in or stay out.

"Just let me check..." Valoi continued moving further and further until he suddenly felt the entire ground shake. Valoi's entire body trembled and rattled, and as he looked down He released something: The ground was splitting apart. As the ground slowly tore itself into two pieces, Valoi heard crackling and loud noises coming from outside. Then Valoi saw a massive boulder smash into little pieces right next to Mir. "Mir! Get in here no-" Valoi was cut off as the ground split apart so much, he fell in the chasm it had created. Shocked, he tried to use his wings to stop himself, but it was no use, the chasm wasn't wide enough and he was going to fast.

"Brother!" Mir flew through before the boulder blocked the split. He dove down to Valoi and casted a telekinesis spell that their father taught him. Mir was like his father: an Onyx Dragon. The Onyx dragons could cast spells to help others and their population wasn't too high.

(Alrighty, kay, affirmative xD )

Valoi could feel himself slowing down a bit, but by that time he had already hit a surface, the impact probably would of killed him, If it weren't for his brother. And he was ranting about protecting Mir...Ironic. Valoi opened his eyes, But he couldn't see anything. He decided to call out to his brother. "I'm okay!" He yelled. His voice echoed off the walls. "Thank you brother! Can you try and go and get someone, I think I hurt my wing on the way down!"

"Stay here and I'll call for dad." Mir said before flying up but the chasm's opening were replace with a portal and it sucked Mir and Valoi right in. Somehow both were knocked out as they were sucked in,

".....U-Ungh..." Mir slowly got up and pushed himself from the ground, scanning the surrounding before he saw Valoi unconscious next to him. "Brother?! Are you ok?!" Mir asked, a bit panicked as they were some where unfamiliar. A forest of sorts...

Valoi woke up with a start. "Brother! What happened? Are we home?" Valoi looked around. They were not home, Far from it actually. "Are we...in a forest?" Valoi asked. He stood up, and suddenly winced in pain as his wing was wounded quite badly from the fall. "Brother..I'm so sorry, I should've never gone into the canyon..."

"At least we didn't stray from each other..." Mir said with a sigh before casting a heal spell on Valoi's wing, hovering above his back.

"Sometimes, you are really useful..." Valoi said stretching his wing to test it out. " Well, it isn't all bad, it could be worse...right?" Valoi said, doubt was obvious in his voice. "We should try and find a way home, last I checked, the nearest forest from mount Draco is miles away..."

"Well, Me either!" He said. Valoi got up and began walking Dertimined to get him and his little brother home. "I can't believe this is what I get for being adventurous!" He yelled. As he walked, he heard a sound come from the bushes to his left. He looked at the bushes and tilted his head "hello?" He asked.
