Fantasy Lords of the Caribbean Seas

Emory didn't join in on the song. She strapped a cutlass to her belt, and loaded both her pistols, and prepared to board. The other ship raised a new flag, one that seemed familiar to her. She couldn't place it. Emory started calling out orders to the newer recruits, telling the ten they'd just signed on to stay on board and keep out of the way. To the handful who had joined before them, she only said "Arm yourselves!"

The sounds of cannon fire and movement on the many decks stirred the beneath.. Somthing moved.. Slowly..

Whispering. While above the sea the four ships continued to rage fire unto each other. Oblivious

to what that soon would make them see..

______________________________________________________________________________________________

"Master, the barque fired eight rounds unto our ship.." "Eight?" "Yes.. Eight." "Really?" "Yes.." "Ehh... I feel sorry for them.. What's our damage?"

"Just a single cannon.. and it's placment.. We'll get it replaced right away sire." "..Yeah, yeah.. Get the muskets and shoot down at them or something.. I mean.. It's a ship firing at the flagship.. What are their chances?!" The iron fist turned slowly after the faster barque, but the navymen had already lined up on the wall and started a hail of fire against those still standing topside. Although it fired again, the Barque was too agile and turned in the right moment to avoid a hail of close ranged rounds.

______________________________________________________________________________________________

Rezek was either incredibly lucky or just fast enough, he turned the ship, yelled at the top side crew and made sure not to get hit by the rain of musket rounds. "Cap'n! The flags of those ships! One of them is a pirate! Perhaps it's one under the fleet! The code means we are to aid each other if needed! Certainly we could shoot all day and get a few hits in.. But we'll be turned to splinters if I miss a dod-" Rezek leaned to the side as a bullet strafed right past him. "If we miss a turn and they hit us at this close range.. Especially no-" Another bullet strafed past the tall man. "SCUTTLE WORMS!" He yelled, "As I was saying.. We're danger close.. And I don't think! I can dodge! These forever!" Although talking as if he was stressed, Rezek remained quite calm..-ish..

Samuel blinked a bit.. "Huh... Fancy that.. they are grouping.. Alright lads.. Ready! BOAR- THROW THE CROWNS!" Suddenly from the tops and the crow's nest, barrels of black powder was flung down towards the other ship. Samuel as quick as he was jumped to the riggings and in a spectacular maneuver had his legs stuck between two of the ropes, making his hands free. "Throw!" He said as two sailors moved over with their flintlocks. Samuel himself pulled his own out and shot the barrels right as they neared the tightly knit groups. "Ay.. This is fighting DIRTY! Yer' stupid army peoples.. Whaddya think yer' are? The brits?! Nobody fights like that on the sea, landlubbers!" Another wave of the barrels were thrown and a new pair of pistols were throw to Samuel who did precisely the same thing. How many it wounded or killed wasn't the point.. The suprise was the point.. Thought sam. They'll be confused and distracted.. Especially the riflemen who needs to take care of the barrels before they'd kill their small packs of men.. And that is why pirates are not grouped together.. Black powder is the work of the devil HAR HAR. And as a command known to the Black Crowns, Samuel continued the song.. Igniting the fires in the crew.. And made them thirst for blood. "YO-HO-YO-Ho! We row beneath the black falg! A rollicking' We go! We bleed the kingdoms DRY!!" As a fierce wave, the crew jumped, climbed. Each man carried both knives, cutlass and pistols. Staying behind were the better sharp shooters who picked out what seemed like higher ranked officers among the groups. By the sharpshooters were the mule men, people who carried extra muskets at the ready, emphasising on it's quicker to have more guns than reload strategy. . By sheer number and brute strength was a ace that Samuel used. But his dirty tricks such as the powder crowning as he called it himself was quite effective. He himself had already gotten a new pair of flintlocks, and he soon joined his men in the fray. "C'mon landlubbers.. You think army style is going to work here? Time to teach yer' how a real man fights on the sea. I am captain Samuel Killeye Jacques.. And you've messed with the wrong pirate. Surrender now and I'll maroon you with your men and some supplies.." Boarding and fighting hand to hand were the Crown's speciality, especially once they've gotten the roar in their hearts. "HAR HAR! Defy the odds against us! A pirate knows no fear." The crew itself sung with the captain, a dreaded sea shanty known only by few and sung by only the crazy. "Our steel is ready! And our retribution is severe!"

Margret, who had been above deck when they began to shoot, could have kicked herself. She wasted valuables shells. The other ship was the only chance they had. She growled. "TURN THE SHIP AROUND THEN KELLINGTON! TO THE PIRATE VESSEL." Margret made a fatal mistake. She wouldnt make it again. As he was turning the ship, a bulit flew past her head, but caught her ear. She yelled in pain for a second and reached up to feel her ear. There was a round-ish bit missing. She marched up and stood beside rezek, "lets go!"

Emory followed her crew aboard the other ship. She fought with knives, rather than use the cutlass on her belt. One in each hand she slashed at the enemy. She joined in on the song, although now it was more of a chant, being forced out through gritted teeth between breaths. She worked with a few of her fellows to disarm and tie up a dozen of the enemy. "If you stay here and out of the fight, we might not kill you." She told them. "That is, if your captain is wise and surrenders."

For a minute it seemed like the lines were broken. Around a dozen men were killed and inquired and they began fighting alone or in groups of two's or three's. Even without the formations they were inflicting many casualty's, especially those groups of two's and three's because it was obvious they trained together. These pirates unlike many did not rely only on savagery to win a fight but training, even without formation and often worked to bring down one enemy with two or three people. The deck had dissolved into a melee even engulfing the back shooter teams who were forced to fight hand to hand. However the shooter team on the captains raised platform continued to shoot and create even more casualty's. The barrels became impossible to use as they would hit their own men as well. However at the moment the black crown seemed to be winning. However it was around the time Emory tied up a few men that things began to happen, just after one of the more senior crewmen answered her. "I must thank you for taking us out of the fight, in this condition we are useless to our captain and would only burden him. But however, your taking his version of warfare far to lightly." Cedric who had been watching the battle finally spoke.

"All troops, pop the hatches." At that moment it might have occurred to some of the attacking pirates then while a sloop was small they had only seen around 80 men on deck when a sloop, especially this one which was slightly larger could carry 150. From below deck, that captains room and every separated place from the main deck came more troops, the missing crew men. If someone had actually taken the time to count them they would have only counter about 50 men as reinforcements while some more remained below deck but it was enough. The very opening barrages and attack is when the most men were killed so cedric had hidden 60 or so of some of the most experienced men at hand to hand below deck so they wouldnt be killed in opening fire, only to cut them loose when the melee was fully engaged. Meanwhile Cedric looked down at the army below him, there he could just barley see the marks he had put earlier, the marks that decided his ship into 10 sections. "Section 6 clear out." He said this load enough for even those below deck to hear him even though he still sounded calm. Suddenly Cedric's men in the middle left part of the ship moved quickly, disengaging with thier opponents when less then a second later a barrage of fire came from below deck to cut threw and plunge into enemy's and even slow ally's alike. This was able to be done by marking his ship in 10 sections above and below deck. This allowed him to command separate sections and even set up traps from below deck. Enemy's began to fall quickly to the suddenness of their assault. One of the main leaders was a girl no older then 16, Rachel Fay. "Oy you idiots you think that was it, we wont fall so easy!" she parried a mans cutlass and stabbed him threw the chest with her second sword. She was loud and boastful and soon attracted attention from the black crown snipers. However when ever one looked her way a bullet would suddenly find them coming from the crows nest. "Dont look at my sister." Marcus Fay muttered to himself. He pulled off a sniper sort of role by combining a telescope and long barreled rifle, in the crows nest he was almost impossible to hit while he could lay down dealt accurate fire. A small boy, a lowly powder monkey was reloading his rifle while he fire the second one.

Meanwhile the captain wasent staying still either. Standing he walked over to a cloaked object and pulled of the cloth revealing a hidden cannon. It was already loaded with only one shot. 3 men ran out the cannon and aimed. There was a reason ships didnt fire their cannons while boarding. Below deck cannons threatened to hit the gin powder storage and blow up both ships in a massive explosion and any above ground cannons quickly got engulfed into the melee. However by having his troops protect the stairs which would seem normal due to their army movements and fashion and keeping a single hidden up her with no ammo it seemed like their wasent a cannon at all. "You all... Are getting to far ahead of yourselves... Fire." With that they fired a single chain shot that hit the crowns main mast around the crows nest and crush the wood and disabling the crows nest entirely. All these actions happened in less then a minute... In a minute he turned the entire tide of the battle. "Now its may be time for me to enter the battle." Cedric started walking down the stairs into the melee and struck down one man from behind who was beating back on of his men. "All troops!" For the first time he raised his voice into a yell the echo'd on the sea. "Lay waste to them!" In that moment the privateer's moral rose to unprecedented levels and even those who were flagging suddenly fought with new force of will. Meanwhile the Cedric himself went into enemy lines, his sword a silver flash that seemed to cut down even experienced sailors with ease, this was the blade that earned him the title of one of the strongest sword fighters on the sea. Even among everyone else however the real one who got inspired when she saw the captain on the ground was Rachel Fay. In truth while the captain was a legendary sword fighter he rarely came to fight as he usually wasent pushed so hard so the second she saw him fighting she let out a fierce cry of battle and began cutting down soldiers with new vigor. Akio while had been fighting also had a honer guard of about 8 of the most experienced soldiers so he could still back up and recover and give orders, staying out of the main battle. Currently Rachel was the main offensive with those around her who worked as a team with her. Alone she was strong but she was also supported by two spear fighters and two sword fast moving pirates who kept those from closing on the spear man which made it almost impossible to overwhelm her. Currently what was making the difference in the fight was the united fighting of these small groups who found it hard to be taken down by the enemy pirates who fought mainly alone. They began becoming more and more of a thorn in the black crowns side as the body's began to pile up at their feet.

Emilia wasnt one to be cocky, in fact she rather disliked cockiness, so this enemy captain was really getting on her nerves. She had been aboard his ship for some time now, tripping up enemy crew members, only sometimes stabbing and slashing when an attacker would get too close. She had been quite content in her area of expertise, other than fighting itself which she rarely did, until that cocky captain brought out a canon, and shot the Black Crown! Not only was he cocky, but he was almost as cunning as herself! Those two traits didnt mix well. She had to give him credit, he was clever. She had figured out that they had some sort of zone system after hearing him call out an order and seeing everyone move from there. There are people below deck... That cunning seamonkey!

Finding herself enraged by this turn of events, Emilia slipped away from the area she had taken residence in for the past... However long this had been going on, and wove her way towards the captain. He was rather caught up in killing her fellow crew members. She growled quietly in her throat. That's my family, you bastard! With that inner battle cry, she kicked up a sword belonging to a fallen man from whose ship she did not know, and crept up behind the man. Instead of calling his attention politely, she held the sword so that the blade brushed the back of his neck.

"Now, are you going to make this easy, or no?" She asked with a tone sharper than the daggers she had stowed amongst her clothes. "Because I'd really like to cut you down to size, Captain Cocky."

"Slit their throats!" Emory shouted, drawing her blade across the neck of the nearest captive. The blood splattered her clothing and face. She wiped her knife clean on her pants. The tide had turned, her people seemed to be fighting to survive now. Emory stood, scanning the fight during a small moment of calm. If she could just make her way to their captain... She started to fight her way to where the man she thought was captain stood. She lost a few of her knives, and drew her cutlass. Emory was nearly there when she saw Emilia had gotten there first. She was about to cheer, but instead let out a shout as a bullet pierced her left shoulder. She'd been shot from behind! She reached a hand up to her shoulder, and it came away sticky with blood.

"Huh you really are sneaky to get past my guard." he said as some of his guard turned around, looking nervous for the first time since he saw them, their captain was under threat but they couldnt do anything. "But you are underestimating my crew." Suddenly a bullet came from the crows nest and pierced the top part of his shoulder and heavily nicked her arm which would forced her to let go of the Sword. He stumped away but straightened looking at his shoulder. "I will bleed to win this battle, that is but only fair as my men have to bleed for me." His guards were about to engage when he waved them off and said. "She is my prey now, keep watch and make sure no one else approaches." He said as he turned and held kept his sword ready. "I dont think you understand, my life is insignificant in this battle. The only thing that matters on the sea is victory, now pick up your blade. Even if you kill me it wont change a thing."

Meanwhile the rifles continued to fire into the crowd, that was one of the bullets that hit Emory. The black crowns crew were being forced off the ship by the strength of their enemy. Meanwhile Rachel was looking for her next opponent when she found Emory. "Your next!" She said holding her sword confidently.

((The fact that Emory is a woman is a secret. She wears men's clothing and binds her breasts. I very clearly said that in my character sheet.))

Emilia hissed as a bullet pierced her arm, but it was mostly the shock that phased her. She then began to laugh. "Oh you really are a funny man. Thing is..." Emilia bent and picked up her sword, tossing it from her injured right to her left hand. She twirled the blade smoothly as if it were her dominant hand still. And it still was. "I'm ambidextrous. This bullet doesn't phase me, nor does your fancy talk. I'll let you have first move, since this is your ship and that only seems fair."

((edited i forgot))

"Good, its better if you dont fight with a substantial injury, after all its only fair that way." He did not seem to be lying, for some reason he wanted reason the battle to be as fair as possible. "You want me to make the first move? Fine im coming then." Suddenly he shot forward in a completely different type of movement that he had be using up until now. His sword came in a downwards arc in a blow powerful enough to cut you in half if it hit. However no matter what he stepped forwards if the blow was block and threw a punch at her at close range before sliding away on his heel as he sliced at her forehead. While that last blow would be a small cut if it hit blood would begin flowing into her eyes and make it hard to see. He looked at her after stepping back again and said. "There is the first move."

Rezek turned the ship all the way around moving quickly under a hail of more musket fire and cannon barrages. "Not going to catch us!" He looked back then to his bleeding arm and finally to the bloody scene before them. "Damn.. Cap'n.. Those two crews are duking it out like Davy Jones were betting on them. What's yer plan to help them so we can have their help with the slug on our back?" Rezek forcefully removed the wood that had pierced his arm. "Mh... They really seem to be busy with fighting it out.. Getting up there would be bad for your men.. Neither of the two groups up there would think of your crew as allies.. We could try and shoot into the privateers both.. We should just hit the bow.. and.. Around the deck.. As long as we don't go any further we shouldn't hit the munitions.." Rezek calmly awaited his captains orders.

"Kandell.. The trading ships have sent signal.. They are about to leave sire.." "WHAT?.. But.." "No buts.... " Kandell stared as the ship they were fighting moved away.. The Iron Fist could take pot shots with their cannons.. But these were not the only pirates around.."Fine.. Let us go then. We'll get these another time.. " The Iron Fist slowly turned and sailed away, the admiral still stood and watched from afar.. And soon after was the Iron Fist gone.. For now that is..

Samuel was pissed.. Someone just shot his two better crew members.. "Alright Birdy..Here I come." In under two minutes was Samuel already moving up to the crows nest, a masterful acrobatic such as himself knew the methods to quickly move around the ship's riggings. Firstly he got a rope that shot him upwards and the rest was just sprinting over to the nest. "Time to bleed.. " Samuel impaled the young man that were reloading a rifle, kicking the others rifle away and grabbed him by the throat. Samuel was REALLY pissed.

"You think my crew is SMALL? HERES MORE! Come and get 'em!" His crew suddenly shifted strategies.. Instead of trying to take everyone by themselves they went with a tricorne tactic.. Spreading the soldiers out to circles with other pirates taking shots at them from the privateers rigging. "Give them hell. I hope you like your SHIP BURNING!" Yelled Samuel as he tightened his grip around the sniper's throat while hanging him over the crows nest.. A fall that would certainly cripple one permanently or kill outright. Suddenly men below deck on the Crown threw small bombs into the Privateer's vessel, these bombs soon exploded and fire spread through the ship.

"Mmmh... Smell the defeat yet... OH and.. I hope you need this sniper.. And that girl? Huh.. Hey kid... Look how a real marksman shoot.." Samuel pulled a pistol and shot directly towards Emory's target. "OI Emory! Here's a gift!" he said as the shot hit the girl that were going to attack Emory, in the leg. Samuel himself casually threw the pistol away and pulled the other, aiming it with precison towards Drake's target.

"OI.. Surrender.. And we might only kill two third of your people.. Or you all die a horrible death.. HEYA!"

The pirates of the Black Crown bolstered their attacks, using the dirty tricks as throwing knives and shooting. They surrounded the small groups without getting to close, instead each pirate awaited one of the soldiers to attack, in the second one would cave in and attack two pirates would come from the sides and jump in the middle of the small groups, causing chaos between them. "Well.. Do you surrender or do I have to make this child fall down and break all his limbs?! HUH!"

The crew was not close to breaking or stopping, their courage had been reinforced and they knew how to take care of groups that is what many of the royal navies soldiers did...Samuel had the privateer sniper in a deadly chokehold, And being so high up and defended from the crow nest made him a near impossible target.

"So what will it be? Surrender? Death by fire? Your choice..."

Margret looked at kellington incredulously. "You're practically running the damn whore arn't yeh?" She said, smiling. She was glad the iron fist left so easily. Truth be told, she was about to follow his advice. He made her wonder if she was such a good leader after all. "No we're gonna wait. Just a tad, till we know who is winning."

Emilia was impressed by the pure speed and finesse this man had, but she was still quick enough to block his swing. She however wasn't expecting the punch to the gut and was therefore left wide open to be cut on the forehead. It was shallow, but still bled. Emilia smirked in approval at the man and fixed the bandana that kept her bangs from her face over the cut, soaking up the blood. She looked up to see her captain aim towards her attacker and fire but pushed the man back so that the bullet whizzed harmfully into the wood at their feet.

"This is our fight, agreed? No interferences," Emilia clarified, not wanting her actions to come off as kindness or pity or whatever. With that, Emilia took her turn. She feigned forward to the right, drawing his attention there, then pivoted quickly to the left in a crisp twirl and aimed a swing at his own forehead as payback. If that missed, she followed by mimicking his tactic of following with a punch, but aimed it for his back instead, as that was where her twirl had taken her. She didn't expect him to dodge that, but if he did, she stepped around him to complete her circle and aimed a kick at his solar plexus. She then stepped back and twirled her blade again.

"And that was my turn."

"Ours for as long as it lasts." He said looking at his men who nodded. He watched her feign right but his sword did not move till hers did. He blocked the sword with the flat of his own blade holding it diagonally in his left hand. As he twirled around him he stepped forward and turned taking a glancing blow to the back that made him wince before he finished his was once again eye to eye with her to block the kick. "Not bad." He said and was about to continue when he heard samual from above.

Cedric paused looking up as he thought about his options. He could easily counter this new tatic but he would lose at least marcus for quite some time even if he didnt die. Rachel was on the the floor cursing like a sailor though her men crowded around her defending her, she'd be alright for now though she looked at her brother in distress. The only thing that kept her quiet was the fact she knew akio was thinking. "I will not surrender, however if you kill him i will order my men below deck to fire the canons and destroy both ships." He said giving his ultimatum. "I could give up marcus and continue this battle but at that point we will both be picked off by the royal navy, both me and you are already down to half our crews so escaping is already difficult. Not to mention ive know marcus for 10 years, i dont want to lose him now." his voice is still emotionless but his words are genuine. "So do you we both die or do you leave and allowed me to save face and my men in this battle?"

Killeye grinned. "So.. A stalemate or a stalemate.. I dislike of stalemates.. And would you really sacrifice everything just to take me down to Davy Jones' locker with you? Are you that desperate?!" Sam shook his head.

"Lay down your arms.. Give us half of your supplies and I'll leave the kid on a island where you can pick him up. That is my deal.. Either we both die or you will give in..Actually, do you really think I am afraid of losing the Black Crown! While yes! I would weep for my crew! My chances to survive are the best up here." Samuel said with his stern voice.

"You would kill off your own, mine and yourself.. For what reasons? What would you gain by not killing me? Scare me? I've lost ships and crew before! This would be the biggest, yes! But ultimatetly.. You're standing on the losing side!" Yelled Samuel from his position.

"Haha...Huh?" Samuel looked down to the waters, squinting his eye. "Oh.."

Rezek stared at the two ships, listening to the two captains? yelling. He sighed. "Sorry Cap'n.. I got a little over my head.. I was getting shot after with musket rounds.. Terribly sorry for my mistake captain."

Rezek bowed lightly and turned his attention back to the two ships. "I've seen both flags before.. I can't remember their names very well.. I have served on neither ships. But it seems they a- Captain.. I have a bad feeling about this."

Rezek practically stormed to the railings staring at the water between them and the two ships.

"..Cap'n... We.." Rezek said quietly.. "This was a bad place to fight.. Look.."

He pointed to the water. Something, a shadow moved.. It's size three times of a sloop.

"Orders...Captain?!" Rezek turned to Margret.

Indeed.. Something stirred. It was then when crew members from both the Black Crown and Cedric's ship alerted both the captains to a spaniard galleon turning to fire at them. As the galleon got into position, a scream sounded from there. Suddenly 18 metres(59 feet) in the air, a large serpent from the sea, it's eyes completetly white it's jaw riddled with bones and teeth. Soon it crushed the spaniards galleon, seperating the ship in two. For the short moment it lasted, the monster looked towards the three ship, as it slowly descended downwards into the water again.

This is the Titanboa, about 40 feet long. That should get the imaginations on the sea serpent going.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Margret peered off the edge. "What in davy jones..." As soon as margret saw the spanish ship crushed she knew what to do. The wind was heading in the direction of land, how fortunate. " HARD TURN TO PORT! GET THIS SHIP MOVING! TO LAND!" She barked orders at the crew. They all got to work quickly. The ship picked up speed easily. She didnt care about cowardice. She would save her crew, not the crew of a ship she'd never seen before.

Cedric was about to answer till the beast of the waves devoured the Spanish gallon. For once he was at a loss for words just watching the great beast sink back down. His crew who had been debating, especially the newer ones fell silent. Rachels mouth opened and closed twice before she got herself to speak. "Captain..." She said actually scared for one of the first times in her life. Suddenly the calm Cedric looked slightly panicked and looked up. "Listen i dont even know your name or who you are beyond the legacy of your crew. but im gonna ask you to forget about the supplies for now and leave. If that thing comes back it would easily make our two ships into splinters and kill us all."

Emory could not believe her eyes. It must be blood loss. She didn't believe in sea monsters, magic or mermaids ((oh my)). There couldn't be a serpent that size. The fighting around her had stopped, people were starting to panic. She'd lost her cutlass and one of her pistols in the confusion. Someone next to her, an older man whose name she couldn't remember cursed. "We should retreat to our own ship, and to land." He was saying. Emory shook her head at him. "We wait for the order."

Samuel stared at the serpent. "Looks like you get to live a while longer, kid."

Samuel took a deep breath and yelled out to his crew below. "Return to the Black Crown! Get the sails going! Get to land! This is an advice to you too!" Samuel looked at Cedric. "That thing is probably just hungry! Dispose of the bodies and avoid sailing, unless yer' lucky and fast enough!" Samuel threw the one he called Marcus back into the crows nest, while Samuel himself quickly moved down the riggings and unto his own ship. "All Crowns aboard!"

Samuel watched as his crew scrambled towards the deck, some faster than others.

"Turn! To port! Half sails! By all means we should reach land it not crash into land!" The crew worked beyond belief, the Black Crowns crew worked like a family but this time like a family that knew what would happen if they didn't make it. Soon the Crown itself had turned and moved towards the larger than average island. "Think of this as part shore leave. If the thing leaves go back to repairing the ship.."

Killeye studied the shadow in the water before going off the ship as the last person.

Rezek tumbled over to the wheel again. "AYE CAPTAIN!" He yelled and turned the wheel forcefully, cringing a little bit as it pained his arm.

"Look cap'n, the pirate ship is moving to the island too." He looked back to the privateer ship. "I believe all of us are going to the island.. Understandable... But those two fought.. It wouldn't be darn good sharing an island with them.." Said Rezek, concern in his eyes.

Shortly and before the Black Crown, had the Whore already anchored by the island.

Rezek stood by the deck and watched the pirate ship reaching the island.

"So what do we do captain? The shallow waters will.. Hopefully make it safe for our ships and us..

But that thing is huge.. And even though we saw it, how much bigger was it beneath the water?
"

Rezek breathed out. "Well.. Atleast we're alive thanks to you cap'n."

Emory scrambled across one of the rickety wooden planks that connected the Black Crown with privateer's ship. She then reached to help pull it back aboard the Black Crown. The movement jarred her shoulder, and she cried out in pain once again. She started to sway alarmingly, as black spots clouded her vision. She stumbled away from the railing, then fell to the floor, losing consciousness.

Emilia had remained still with a white-knuckled grip upon her swords as the two captains had shouted to each other, aching to just slit his throat as his attention was averted, but then that THING had risen up and shrieked. Emilia had gaped at it in awed horror at this serpent, and then looked gobsmacked to her captain for orders. She was more than happy to oblige in retreating to the Black Crown, after giving the enemy captain a look that said 'we will finish this next time we meet'. She had reached the familiar deck of the Black Crown when she heard a cry of pain. She looked to see Emory swaying dizzily before he collapsed.

"Emory!" Emilia yelped in surprise. She quickly took his place in retrieving the board before crouching down and patting his cheek. "Come on man, get up! There's no time for napping!" She joked lamely, but her voice was heavy with true concern. She sighed and tugged him up, catching him against the shoulder of her good arm. "I swear, you better wake up before I have to drag you the whole way to the sick bay." But so she began to pull the man along.

@dawnfire321

"You have my thanks." He said before turning to give orders to his crew. "All hand turn this ship around! Go to the closest land possible, unfurl the sails to full the second the black crown crew members are off my ship! Marcus i know your probably not feeling good but stay in the crows nest and tell me if you see that thing coming back, we need your eyes!" Marcus nodded a bit shakenly "Aye Cap." Cedric kept yelling out orders to the rest of the crew. Cedric almost never yelled, that was enough to get them moving faster then they ever did, fear moved their steps too. "Make a pile of the crown crew's bodys and trow them over board, i dont like to do this but the fact is they arent ours. Do it all at once however, i dont want to leave a breed crumb trail." With that all the crowns dead crew men were gathered and thrown over board around all at once.

Marget sat on the steps to the poop deck (hehehe) thinking. "I dont belive that thing will wait there forever Kellington. It moves around, when we first passed that area it wasn't there. So it will swim away, it has to." Margret sincerely hoped she was right, but even though she wasnt completely sure, she made sure she sounded sure.

Emory was in agony. She slowly regained consciousness. She found that she being half carried, half dragged into the sick bay. She pushed against Emilia weakly, stumbling to her feet. "I'm fine." She protested. Her head was spinning and her she felt vaguely like she was going to throw up from the pain of it, but she knew that she couldn't let herself be seen by the ships 'doctor'. The bullet wound was in her shoulder, she'd have to take her shirt off, and that would lead to questions she didn't want to answer. She'd been serving aboard the Black Crown for two years now, and so far no one had learned her secret. She wasn't going to give that up now.
