Hey there! I'm pretty new around here, and am looking for a roleplay or two to ease back into the game. I haven't done much for a while, so I am pretty open and don't really have any premade characters or plots. I'm happy to start hashing something out once I get past this pm limit thing!


Some notes-

• I don't really have a set post length. Usually I'll do around a paragraph, maybe more if I have more to say. I don't want to promise anything longer, though, since I am still a bit out of it.
  
• Genres I am pretty open with. I don't know too much about most fandoms, though. If you wanted to base a world around a fandom, that's fine, but you might have to do some explaining. I've been leaning towards a paranormal investigation agency sort of thing that I would like to try, so let me know if that tickles your fancy.
  
• Story-wise I am pretty open. I would like to stay away from abuse-as-romance, if that makes sense. (Like, abuse existing in a universe is fine, but I am not cool with "he is psychologically controlling me and I feel terrified to say no- it must be true love!") Ask me about anything else in particular.

Honestly, I've roleplayed pretty much everything...

I suppose I'm best at RPing things either based in present times, or in the past(medieval or renaissance times). I generally RP females, but I can do either, or both. I'm not the best at typing out action scenes, but dramatic scenes I'm quite good at(even including violence.) My characters are typically more the shy, loner, wallflower types to the stranger's eye, but more wild and carefree to those they know. They also generally have some sort of tragic past(parents killed in front of them, kidnapped, assaulted, etc.) that causes them to hide whatever people don't know.


Uhh... I guess I can get pretty imaginative in way of fantasy type things... I've RPed mythical creatures before(fairies, elves, nymphs, etc), but I think I prefer to just be a human... A lot of the RPs I do are romance ones, though there's got to be a legitimate plot to it, but I've got to admit that romance can add to that plot, helping to move it along.


I like things that have an air of mystery about them. That's one reason I give my characters such back stories- I like making something to keep my RP partner guessing...


I don't go into sex during RPs, the most I do is a fade-to-black or the like...

Now.. By paranormal, do you mean like magic, or mythological creatures, ghosts, oorrr? x3

Hit me with anything! I sort of had this image of a world very much like ours with various types of magic sort of bubbling just below the surface. You know, magical creatures are out there but keep to themselves most of the time, some people are predisposed to magic but never really find out, that sort of thing. The agency is mostly there to deal with problems when they do crop up and try not to cause widespread panic when people start realizing the world isn't exactly what they thought.
