Looking for someone to try out a new form of RPing with...

Rather than writing in third person, why not literally "role play" and send emails or messages to one another in character? I've done it with friends a couple times in the past, and it can be a lot of fun.


As far as the type of RP I'd like to go for, things taking place in our world would work best for this. A futuristic world works, too. I really like supernatural and sci-fi stuff, especially in the form of a thriller. Slice-of-life is great, too. I'm not big on romance centric plots, but if it comes out naturally, then why not? I'm also not big on fandom stuff but will consider it (not as canon characters, though).


I'd also like this to be a very casual thing. My schedule isn't always free and I'd not like to bog myself down. 


I also want this to be with someone thoughtful and plot oriented. Just because it's casual or in a format not traditionally used doesn't mean I don't want a good story out of it. As a writer, this is another form of story telling and I still want it to be done well.

Those of you who would rather 1x1, go ahead and shoot me a PM. As for length, it depends. How long would your character make an email or text message? If we use that format, that's the way you'd measure that.
