Realistic or Modern Looking for new partners! **dark & lengthy snippet of my writing included**

BeautifulLoser

hello friend
**Hi friends, I consider myself to be a newbie on these parts -- I have had this account for well over a year but haven't really used it. If you've seen this prompt before it's because I've posted it once on this account then once on an account I had years ago. That being said -- I still have no idea how to work this website haha.
On a very important note, this prompt is very very dark, deals with light insinuated violence, and weapons with some light language used. You have been warned. This is definitley one of my stronger, darker pieces I have stored from previous writing websites.

**super super side note - this piece is older so there are some spelling errors and tense issues.

"Come on man, I think we scared him enough, don't you think?"

Dalton asked me as I walked with a smaller frame in front of me. I shot a glare over in his direction, I could feel my pupils darken and intensify as I meet contact with him. I could feel the coldness that shot from my stare, and he shrunk away from me. Dalton could no longer look me in the eyes, his focus turned towards the darkness that was ahead of us as we slowly walked. The body of a boy in front of me has his hands were tied tightly around his back, one of my hands placed firmly on his shoulder blade. I could feel the absence of the muscles that resided there, the bone of his shoulder blade pressing into the center of my palm as we walked. My other hand held the end of the rope, the end wrapped so tightly around my fingers that my skin was flushed of color and beginning to go numb at the tips.

I don't bother to reply to Dalton, instead I take a long drag from a lit cigarette, feeling the smoke as it coated the inside of my lungs as I looked over at Dalton who was shaking his head. We continued to walk in the darkness, the only sounds now were the sounds of our feet as they drug along the grass that was as high as our hips, the grass prickly as we walked, getting caught onto the material of our jeans. I could feel the blades of grass cut across each of my knuckles as we walked, but that feeling was beginning to disappear as the rope was beginning to cut circulation, cut feeling from the fingers that extended from my hands.

"Come on, Razor," Dalton said. Dalton's hands were now in his pocket, his breath came out in white puffy clouds.

"Shut the hell up," I hiss at him, glaring over at the younger man with cold, blackened eyes. My eyes were glazed over with coldness and hatred years ago, they have yet to go back to normal.

"You chose to come here, yes?" I bark at him. "So either shut your damn mouth or go back to the car that is waiting for you." I glare at the man, Dalton no longer responding. He shook his head and lit the cigarette, taking a long drag from the stick that was in his mouth. I could hear the drag of the lighter and the warmth of the blaze that resided near his thumb and onto the stick of cancer. He was still shaking his head, unamused and clearly frightened. I glare at him again.

"Shake that head again and I will not hesitate to knock it off of you." I bark. "You're the new kid on the block, so I would suggest that you stop skating on thin ice, yes?" I ask the kid and he nodded his head in understanding. I light up a second cigarette as we continued to walk, the car long behind us now.

The area in which we walked in was desolate with no one around for miles. We were in a corn field of some type, near a stretch of woods. The illuminated lights of a farm were far behind us now as we continued to bulldoze through the property, the stretch of high grass hitting against my hip bones as we walked. Glancing around once more, the lights flickering in the distance behind us but ahead of us was nothing but darkness and a large treeline.

"This is far enough" I decided. Letting go of the rope, I sucked in another large drag of the cigarette before putting it out on the ground, lucky to have not caught fire to the land that was at my feet. Without missing a beat, I jam my knee into the back of the smaller figures leg and watch the kid’s legs give out and crumple out from underneath him. Like that the smaller figure had fallen to the ground and he wouldn't be getting back up again, he couldn't even if he wanted to with his hands in the position that they were in currently. I chuckle as I loom over the smaller figure, standing over him. The eyes were still innocent. They were still filled with wonder and mystery. There was a slight shimmer of happiness that resided there, I could see it. Innocence flew from every section of the boy’s bones. I was certain that the kid was only sixteen... or maybe it was fifteen.

He knew what he was doing here. The kid thought that he had it bad at home, thought he was tough. He had thought that his life was horrible and he had wanted to kill himself, he had wanted to go against all the things his parents told him that he could and couldn't do. He joined us in an act of defiance. We found him in the streets and took him in. But the lifestyle became too hard on the kid, he wanted out. That was what made them end up right here, with me and Dalton, in the middle of nowhere.

"You know why we're doing this?" I asked the kid at my feet. The name wasn't coming to me, he must not have been that important to the team if that was the case. The boy at his feet nodded his head slowly, terrified.

"Answer me with your words, kid." I barked at him.

"Yes I know why I am here." the kid whimpered, shaking on the ground that was underneath the fragile body on the ground.

"You see, you thought you had it bad, kid." I said, shaking my head at him, digging through the pocket of the leather jacket that was covering my skin. I dug down into the waistband of my pants and found what I was looking for.

"But you have no idea what true pain is," I said to him " and you know the rules." I said to him.

"We can't have any loose ends wandering around here." I said to him. "Hell, you would've been better off running away while I was sleeping or some shit like that." I laugh, the chuckle going through the air as I shook my head. "It was stupid that I was the first person you came to with your issues." I shook my head yet again. "Because now I'm going to have to kill you." I said.

"Razor, what the hell?" Dalton hissed at me.

I didn't reply to the man's shocked question. I just chuckled as he pulled the small gun out of the waistband of my jeans. The teen at my feet had begun to shake visibly with fear.

"Please, Razor," the boy whimpered. Fresh tears were rolling down his prominent cheekbones now. He was trying to stand on his feet and I pressed the bottom of my boot to his chest, holding him firmly in his place.

"Please, do me a favor and don't cry." I said as I held him there "You can beg for your life but at the end of the day, you are a child," I said.

"No use to us, so who's to say you aren't going to run off and tell someone?" I asked "In the case that you are off running around, you are giving yourself room to make yourself a happy life," I chuckled

"Then you would be leaving us responsible with the task of having to kill your future wife, your future children..." I trailed off. "That's quite selfish of you, yes?" I ask him. "In the case that you would get away, we'd just find you anyways. It's easier this way," I said.

Dalton stands away from me now, and while he looks shocked, I know that he won't say or do anything.

"Now please, remember," I began as I looked down at him.

"You could've used us as an escape from your supposed life," I said "But you didn't and chose to run. You are no longer of any use of us," I said as I saw more tears rolling down his cheeks.

I glanced up at Dalton who had his back turned on me, why wasn't he wanting to look at what he had gotten himself involved in? I chuckle at that and continue to stare at the kid at my feet, a grin on my face.

"So now I'm going to kill you, simple as that." I shrug my shoulders as I cock the gun and the sound of his cries and the sound of the bullet sliding into place is the only sound that is heard through the air. In a way it is sort of sinister, but it gets my blood pumping through my systems.

I can feel the adrenaline kicking through my bones, feeling the rush building up as I continued to stare down at him. My eyes were still darkened and cold, but a smile was spread across my face. In this moment, I am not a man, I am not a woman, but the holder of this young adults life. One simple squeeze of a trigger and I will have claimed it as my own.

I squeeze the trigger and feel the muscles up my arm ignite with a familiar feeling, the muscles tensing momentarily as the gun kicks back. The sound of the bullet firing causes everything to go silent, the deadly silence following shortly behind me. I don't bother cleaning up the body at my feet, tucking the weapon back into the waistband of my jeans with the safety turned back on. Pushing my hands through my hair, I turn on my heels and begin to walk towards the car.

"Make sure you tell Paul to find someone to take his place," I say to Dalton. "And unless you want your fate to end up the same way as it did with this kid," I say, nudging my head towards the dead body in the field. "I wouldn't go talking to everyone about what happened here tonight. I won't hesitate to put some lead in your blood either," I say to him as I light up a cigarette, climb into the drivers seat, and drive away.

I light up a cigarette, climb into the drivers seat and drive away.

What I am looking for::

I am looking to use Razor for this, but I do have an entire pack of characters in this gang (Dalton and others included) that I would be willing to dust off and bring in at a later point in time if needed.

This is obviously a prompt, I have been roleplaying for well over ten years (ah I feel like an old lady!) and have experience but I am so unbelievably rusty. Length is something we can speak about, I tend to be more literate but prefer quality over quantity any day. I work three jobs and go to school full time (taking 20 credits this semester wah lol) so if I can crank out decent responses then I expect you can too!

This would probably be an angsty one on one RP, maybe a female that works at a bar he's a regular at and he gives her a hard time, they have a moment and then they get involved, more than expected, and inevitably gets her and himself involved in some deep stuff that she didn't sign up for. All the good stuff.

Razor is very dark, closed off, and cold - that being said, he has a backstory that no one has yet to experience other than myself and I wanna flesh him out so bad!

My style is obviously very dark and twisted, but I'm super nice I promise! I'm a new(er) member here so if you're interested just reply here or PM me as I cannot start a PM just yet.

Thanks! I look forward to writing with all of you!

I am so interested, I don’t even know how to explain how amazing this looks to me. Your style of writing is incredibly well done, and hooked me in from the beginning. Would you like me to PM you about this? Because I truly want to do this RP.

Thank you so much! Yes I’m definitely interested!

Honestly, I'm new to this forum too, but have been roleplaying for about 12 years, I am rusty aswell so I think this a perfect match haha. Really interested in your style, it's not like the cliches I'm used to seeing plastered around most forums.
I'm really interested in Dalton trying to tag along with Razor and the bartender too ACK SO MANY GOOD IDEAS!!
Maybe we can discuss it when you have time?

Hi! Thank you so so much for the kind words! I am very interested in trying to get back in the swing of roleplaying with you haha.
I know right? There are so many different paths and options for this roleplay.
