Looking for longterm FxF partner! (New plots added 1/15)

Introduction

I'm looking for a fun, friendly, and enthusiastic RP partner to work with me on creating a longterm FxF RP. Ideally, this person would be able to write at least one or two posts several times a week, and would want to plan and discuss things OOC as well. I like for plots to have a driving conflict, so purely slice of life stuff is out for me (except in a few rare cases). My hope is that in addition to great character moments, you'll also want action, intrigue, angst, romance, inner turmoil, drama, twists, cool villains and exciting journeys.


Actual posts would preferably be via PM and wouldn't have to be super long - about 3-5 short paragraphs would be fine. In fact, I get a little overwhelmed by the wall-of-text RPers out there. I'd much rather focus on the pacing of the story and character interaction than anything else. As long as your grammar and sentence structure is relatively on point, I'm not very picky about even a few one liners.


So. I've got a few random pairings and story ideas, but they're mostly undefined general concepts at the moment. I'd like to hash out some more details and plot ideas with you! If I have a preference for a role, it's written in italics. Stars indicate an extra strong craving.

Open Plots and Pairings

★ Prioress x Nun (Historical, Slice of Life and/or Horror Fantasy)


After the death of the previous mother superior, your character is fast-tracked to be the head of a small convent in the countryside. There, she struggles with her own questions of faith while also being expected to instruct and supervise the nuns in her care. One such girl is particularly devout and eager to please, but a quickly developing forbidden attraction threatens to unravel everything they believe in. We could keep this as purely slice of life if you want, or we could also go full-on pulpy nunsploitation fun and add supernatural or demonic elements for the girls to contend with. Totally up to you.


★ Sarah Sanderson x Dani Dennison (Fandom: Hocus Pocus)


I don't often get strong fandom RP cravings but I'm dying to do this one. Loooove this movie. After that chaotic Halloween night in Salem two decades ago, Dani Dennison eventually settled into her young adult years in New York City, leaving her hometown behind and the strange memories with it. In a way, it all seems so distant as to be fantasy; a strange campfire tale she half-heard from somebody else. However, as Halloween approaches this year, there is a nervous energy in the air. But nothing could prepare her for the events that would lead to the reigniting of the black flame candle, the resurrection of Sarah Sanderson, and the strange affection that would develop between them as they're forced to unite against a new evil. Along the way, Dani helps Sarah adjust to life in the modern world, and helps her see that maybe being an evil soul-sucking witch isn't the only way to live.

Princess x Princess (Medieval Fantasy)


Two kingdoms share a tenuous peace, during which royal court schmoozings, extravagant festivals, and other such pomp and circumstance has indirectly caused a budding friendship between two princesses... and maybe something more? The girls eagerly await each new get-together, and do their best to hide their forbidden feelings from their fathers, their people, and even each other. That is until they both uncover a plot to incite war between the kingdoms. Together they work to investigate the origins and culprits of these deadly machinations, only to find themselves falling into a dangerous underworld and its far-reaching villainy. With only each other to trust, a genuine romance begins to grow as they rely on each other for the strength needed to take up arms and wage their own war.


★ Teacher x Student (Medieval Fantasy)


Your character is a promising first year student enlisted in the royal military academy for magic users. Arriving by airship at the royal palace, she meets her fellow students... and her alluring new teacher; a bookish but assured woman well known for her service to the kingdom. It is wartime, with invading armies pressing in at all sides, so classes begin right away. Your character demonstrates a natural ability that attracts the attention of her superiors, and even the king himself. The teacher is tasked with cultivating and refining the powers of her star student, and together they are given special missions to undertake. A powerful attraction builds between the two girls, and they struggle to maintain a proper academic relationship as the rest of the world - and their desire - burns out of control.


Paranormal Investigator x Apprentice (Gothic Horror Fantasy)


London, during the mid-late 1800s. In the wake of the Industrial Revolution, old horrors and ancient superstitions still persist in the crowded alleyways, polluted shipyards, and misty graveyards of a city struggling beneath the weight of its newfound progress. A small, one-woman private detective agency offers to make sense of these lingering fears, its advertisements promising to uncover the truth behind all things that go bump in the night. Your character finds a listing in the paper to work as an apprentice for this agency, and she is eventually hired on by the beautiful and eccentric detective. But she soon finds out that skepticism doesn't last very long in this line of work, and that there is a terrifying reality to be discovered in many of these paranormal cases. But if the world of spirits wasn't enough trouble each night, the oppressive societal expectations for two independently thinking women continues to assert itself each day.

Update post: I've received a ton of responses to the original three plots, so I'm considering them claimed. However, I have more plot ideas rattling around in my braincase. Adding them to the OP.
