Looking for Long Term Rp Partners

So I've been role playing here for a week or so and sadly most of my roleplaying buddies here aren't talking anymore, so I'm making another thread. Hopefully I get to meet some new people to Rp with ^^ Before I continue I like using emoticons ooc, however if you don't like them just tell me and I'll stop.


Stuff about me


I am on this site everyday, usually in the mornings and at night (where I am anyway) during the school week then on weekends and public holidays I'm rarely offline. I reply within 24 hours of the other person's last post but you don't have to I understand, though if you're going to be off for a while please tell me. Even if it's just that you're not into our Rp at that time I don't mind, it's nice to know though.


When I write I usually try my best to match or go over what my partner writes so that we can continue the Rp easier, short replies are okay but please no one liners. It just gets boring and I tend to reply a lot slower than I normally would (still within 24 hours).


As for limits and boundaries well I literally always let them slide, though my pet peeve is when people control my character. Example 'She hears someone call out and turns around and sees him waving to her' I don't mind the ands, in fact so long as the sentence makes sense you can use as many ands as you like. But please don't tell me what my character does, I'll let it slide of course but that's not the point.


Another thing that annoys me but I go along with is romance happening too quickly, I try to have it as a rule but I dunno it just gets bent. Please let the characters bond more before romance happens, but if they don't well mine will still act the same regardless.


One last thing I prefer to play females, in fact I really don't like playing makes most of the time. The pairings I do are FxF or FxM

This is a new accout, so I can't PM you yet. In light of this, I thought I'd just reply here. From what you've described, we seem to have rather compatible styles; I generally like to write longer replies, and have a deep love for slow burn in romance matters.


The pairings you propose sound intriguing to me, and I'm "fluent" in about half of the fandoms you listed. I mostly write f/f, (m/m only if required by some circumstance or another) but don't generally write f/m at all. Gen goes as well, of course.


Anyway. I decided to keep this short, in case you're not interested after all. What do you think?

Well, to be quite honest, so far I've mostly written regular fiction; RPs are not my area of expertise (yet). So I don't know what sort of plots work best with this style, and I'd be glad if you could take the lead in that regard? Other than that, I don't really have any preferences, except that I don't want to do a pairing with a big age difference. So really, I'd just love to do whatever strikes your fancy at the moment ^-^

Oh, that does sound interesting! I'm on board. There are so many fascinating things one can do in a setting with androids. Anyway, so here's the noob in me speaking: How do we go about this? Set up a thread or wait until my account is confirmed properly so we can pm?
