Satanic Nightjar
reach for the stars and don't settle for the moon
Hello fellow writers! I've recently published the first chapter of my book, Pen(cil) Pals, and I was hoping I could find a few readers, and maybe even some constructive criticism. It's a romance, but it unfolds slowly. The basic plot is the main character is given an odd Christmas gift at a party anonymously, and he opens it to find a journal. There's no name or any way of knowing who it belonged to. For a while, he debates on whether to read it, but eventually, he can't resist. Strangely, as he reads, he finds himself coming closer and closer to its mysterious author, finding himself attached to someone who doesn't even know his name. And then.. he reads the last page. He finds out what the writer is intending to do, why the book is no longer within their possession, and that this is no longer a game. He must find them, before it's too late.
That's pretty much it! It would mean the absolute world to get some advice, or even just for y'all to pop in and said you read it!
