Howling Wolf
Greetings everyone,
As the thread title says, I'm looking for someone to write and maybe even befriend. My needs are simple, I don't care how much you write as long as your characters have more than two personality traits that cannot be used to describe Bella Swan. (Nothing against twilight, just a bit tired of it.) Fan fic has never been my pair of shoes mostly, but with the right partner and plot I might be able to open up to it.
My general Do's are:
Write over-long posts whenever my partner's not online.
Emotionally torture my characters just due to my sweet and giving nature.
Try to never write a post that doesn't cover at the very least one hour of plot time. (I really hate it when the plot doesn't move)
Plots with endings I can't grasp till it's finally over.
Writing romance plots into a story line after it's started growing. Not the other way around.
Try to write compelling characters for my co-writers and ask for feedback at every step.
My general Don't's are:
Care too much about grammar. (Use a spellcheck app though, we are not barbarians)
Post less than 3 paragraphs (Ok, I tend to write longs posts. See no reason for short ones, unless in conversations that is, but I tend to do those over chat just to keep the plot moving).
Mary sueing (If you don't know what I'm talking about, please do move on. I get it's a compelling plot device for some, but I personally am somewhat tired of it.)
Taking jokes badly (Exceptions: Genocide, misogyny, Soccer and the band Mumford and Sons. Too soon for that last one...(:'())
What I am looking in a partner:
The capability of communicating with me to find a plot we can both find to our liking.
Sense of humor.
General awesomeness. At this point I will ask all J. Biever fans to move on, but all people who liked the prequels are allowed to stay. I'm not a monster.
A certain degree of maturity. That means, if you still haven't reached drinking age in your country, you'll probably won't get nor like me. (Drinking is bad. Don't do it!)
The ability to have witty conversations with one another. Some of my best friendships started in roleplays.
What I am not looking for:
A specific gender
Yaoi plots (Just since I can't do them right.)
Genres I like and why:
Fantasy: Magic
Sci-fi: This is a tough one, science fiction is one of the hardest fields for me to write about, I need to do my research before hand a create a certain lore before going into this one. Still lots of fun.
Drama: You will not get a plot with me that doesn't have a lot of this. (In a good way, not the cw way)
Modern: If I have to write another modern vanilla romance, I might kill myself. Everything else, I'm up for.
Historic: Eurasia all the way, Africa and Americas not so much. Still lot's of fun. I'm a history buff myself.
Romance: I will do it if you can convince the plot works for me.
