Hiya! I'm no good with introductions, so I'll keep this section short. I go by Cat and I'm a long-time RPer that recently left the site I'd been frequenting. I may be new to RPN, but RPing is something I've been passionate about for about 6 years now. I'm a 20 year old college student that loves reading and writing, and just wants to fill that gap in my life again. That being said, let's get on with my preferences!~
I don't typically enjoy romance being the center of an RP, but I do have a fantasy plot in mind dealing with two couples (I'd play a guy and a girl, as would you). It involves a pirate, a mermaid, the pirate's ex-lover, and the captain of a ship. Let me know if you wanna hear that.
I also have the plot of an older RP of mine that sadly never got much of a chance to grow. It deals with a young princess being assigned a personal knight to protect her (neither is find of this at first) during some internal struggles of a once-grand kingdom. They face assassination attempts, court gossip, a brewing war-- and to top off their troubles, they fall for one another. How does it work out? Does the kingdom fall? Ask me about it!
Romance-aside, I have another vague idea of doing a meet-up of two people from essentially opposite 'times'. No time travel, but rather one person from a developed world and one from an underdeveloped one. In my head, this works out to be someone visiting from another world/somewhere within space that is used to futuristic technology meeting someone used to a simpler life with technology less-advanced than modern times. Preferably with some sort of adventure/war taking place, I want conflict in this setting. Let me know if you're interested and this can we tweaked/played around with.
Preferences aside, I'm pretty open-minded, so if you have questions just ask! I'm also open to chatting, so don't be a stranger. Hope to hear from you!

- I'm new to this site. Please have patience with me figuring things out. I'm learning fast, I promise.
- I can't always post multiple times every day, so please have a little patience. Being harassed for a post won't get you a good reply from me. I post at least once a day on my busiest days, but I do tend towards several posts a day.
- My post length relies on my partner's, to an extent. I prefer length and detail, with at least decent grammar and the potential for multiple paragraphs. Your posts don't have to be perfect, but they should be readable and longer than a paragraph.
- I enjoy romance, but I'd prefer it not be the center of the RP. That being said, I do FxF, MxM, or MxF. No preference. I play either gender, and often do multiple characters.
- I love conflict! Bring me a setting with war, action, adventure, some sort of violence or intense drama, and I'll love it. I also just adore themes of fantasy or futuristic times. Fandoms can be done, but I'm very particular about them.
