About Me:
Hi, I go by Selene. My pronouns are she/he/they, I am 27 years old and have about 15 years of roleplay experience. I’m currently looking for a couple of patient long-term roleplay partners.
I don't define myself by a literacy style, however I can give numbers of how much I will send. Starters from me can be anywhere between ~950 to ~1,800+ words depending on how much inspiration I have for the roleplay. Replies are more flexible, with room for variation depending on the scene being portrayed. I prefer for my replies to be anywhere between 500 to about 1,000+ words in length.
I will be bringing a starter example, as well as a response example. I expect you to bring examples of your writing as well, so we may see if we'd be a compatible writing match.
My activity is pretty limited due to working full time at an animal shelter. I'm only really looking for people who are fine with a bit of delays in my replies.

Roleplay Topics:
I will, honestly, roleplay pretty much anything under the sun. Dark themes don't bother me, I tend to prefer them in my roleplays. I do have specific limits that I will not do, which can be discussed privately. I'm naturally research driven, and love to research specific topics at hand to understand them better and make the roleplay more realistic.
I would prefer to do a modern fantasy or supernatural roleplay at this time. I am extremely character and lore driven, and put emphasis on all of our characters getting equal attention and spotlight.
If you have ideas, feel free to bring them! Depending on what you're looking for in terms of roleplay, I can help come up with base plot ideas for us to choose from to expand upon. If you have an idea you're dying to do, I would love to hear it. I do not mind playing any gender, so if you're looking for a specific type then I will more than likely be willing to play what you are looking for.

- I do not roleplay with minors. I will only roleplay with those who are 18+. This is for my own personal comfort and preferences.
- I will do my best to respond on the days I am available, however reminders are always appreciated. I can be very, very forgetful.
- Ghosting is fine. I have no issues if you just aren't feeling it and decide to leave. I understand not everyone is compatible with each other, and sometimes we just don't feel it like we initially thought we would. No hard feelings!
- I am extremely picky with romance. While I don't mind doing any pairing across any gendered spread, I refuse to do fast burn or instant relationships. Romance must be properly built or else I will refuse to do it. At this time, if romance is wanted I am only interested in LGBTQ+ relationships.
I have a couple expectations from a potential partner, as well. They are detailed below:
- Contribute! Be engaged in the planning phase! I gel best with people who match my energy during planning, who reply with a plethora of their own ideas. I want to build something together with you, and the best way to plan is for both parties to be equally energized and engaged.
- On the topic of planning, I expect for the roleplay to be planned extensively before we begin. This means several days to a week's worth of plotting and brainstorming. I'm someone who needs a substantial base to work off of for a roleplay. This is not to say every single twist and turn is planned, as those are more varied, but I do expect there to be mostly fleshed out characters, settings, and a plot before we begin roleplaying.
- I do not accept one liners. I tend to prefer partners who I can match the length of replies with that gives me a fair bit to work with.
- Be open to the idea of chatting OOC, as well as be understanding and accepting of how IRL takes importance over roleplay. I prefer to eventually become friends with partners, and continuously chat about the roleplay or whatever else comes to mind.
- Be open to the idea of playing a colourful secondary cast in addition to whichever main characters we roleplay.
