Looking for 1x1 partner. RP emphasis on character development.

I have another 1x1 partner but she and I are busy so even with the RP going swimmingly I still want to try to find some more active use on the site.


Looking for a modern RP. Real life elements should be put in play so I guess a "slice of life" although I'd prefer if the RP partner and I had some OOC convos to come up with interesting events to RP so it's not just mundane life activity. By events I mean conflicts for the two to overcome. I'm looking for someone to actively engage in creating these conflicts and interesting RP with me.


Romance is... Fine, but only if it makes sense. I don't want to make romance a required element of the RP because that dictates our characters have to get together romantically. And if the RP does reach a romance I want to avoid the pitfall of constant lovey-dovey RP. People can be in a relationship and not be sucking face or fawning over each other constantly.


I'm 90% sure I'll be playing a male and will likely just do MxF if anything like that happens. Don't be discouraged if you want to make a male character. As I said, romance isn't required.
