The show came back, and Zach was outside in soccer stuff.


"Alright Zach, can you kick a mid-field shot?" The guy asked as Zach nodded and got ready. Zach then started running to the ball. He got a good kick and it soared into the goal and Zach started running around with his hands up screaming, "Goallllll!!!!!!!!"

Angela and Ashley began to laugh as they watched Zach run around. "I forgot he plays soccer." Angela said and Ashley smiled as she nodded. "Yeah. Hey after this I got to go cause practice." She told Angela who simply nodded. "Alright. I got you." She said and the two laughed again as Ashley continued to watch. When could they finally just meet.

The camera came back on, and Zach was there, with his band. His ukulele was in his hand, and he had his sunglasses on. "Okay then, is everybody ready?"

Everybody began to cheer and clap and Ashley smiled down at the laptop. She was ready to hear Zach again. She loved his voice. She remembered the night he sang to her while she slowly fell asleep. That memory made her heart flutter. Oh how she loved the kid. Even if they hadn't meet.

Zach started playing, then started singing.

He stopped singing and kept playing, starting to sing again.

As with every word his band got louder.

"Alright, thank you all, and we'll be back after this!" Zach shouted, making the Rock and roll symbol with his hand and stuck out his tongue.

Ashley smiled as she began to sing along to the song they sang. She laughed at him and shook her head but her smile never faded. It was all so perfect. "That was cute. So does he like Fall Out Boy too?" Angela asked and Ashley shook her head. "No not really." She told her and Angela ahed. "So he sang it specifically for you." She noted and Ashley simply smiled.

The show came back, and Zach was sitting next to a piano, playing. He then started singing.


This is for the haters and everyone who said we couldn't make it. Yes, this is true..


He then started officially singing.


This isn't gospel, it's us. I'm paralyzed from shock. I can't even speak. They're ISIS? Send me, send us. We can beat them cause we're an army.


He then jumped up onto the piano and started playing guitar.


Lyrics that mean nothing is what we got. We weren't gifted with thoughts. Our band was sparked by haters and lovers. My Texas friends know me well, and I only know too. Our hearts are what makes the beat. You know what I mean, and if you say it I'll just laugh. I really need your help.


At the end of the song, he did a flip off the piano and laughed.

Everyone cheered and Ashley smiled. He was so perfect in so many ways it always made her smile. Ashley shut down the computer and sighed. Time for softball practice. She went to change and before she left work, decided to text Zach.


"I loved your performance[emoji173]️ I have softball practice now. I wish you the best of luck with your girl from Texas [emoji30][emoji4]" she was merely teasing but she found it funny.

Zach loaded up his car when his phone beeped, so he checked it.


Thank you, thank you. And my girl in Texas plays softball.


Zach started up the car and drove home, listening to music. He was going to give himself a hair cut then chat with Ashley.


((Can it be that Ashley has a prom and Zach goes to Texas to take her there?))

When Ashley heard her phone, she smiled and looked at it then laughed softly. He was so perfect in her eyes. She parked the truck then began to reply.


"I see. Well she's a very lucky girl. I'm hurt though [emoji17] " she was teasing again but she enjoyed it.

Zach arrived home when his phone beeped. He looked at it and laughed, opening the car and grabbing his instruments, walking in.


You do know it's you, right? [emoji7][emoji6]. And when is your prom?


Zach then set down his instruments and laid on the couch, switching to Pacific Rim when he realized that he needed a haircut.

Ashley laughed as she saw the message and before practice she started to reply with him.


"I figured. I mean not to brag but I am gorgeous [emoji7][emoji23]. And April 22." She told him and became a bit suspicious.


"Why?" She sent again.

Zach laughed, getting up and getting the haircut stuff. He took off his shirt and plugged in the buzzer.


No reason, gorgeous.


Zach then started giving himself a haircut and when he was done, he took a picture and sent it to Ashley.

Totally not drinking red bull in the shower after getting a haircut.

Ashley finished with practice and when she saw it, she laughed and shook her head.


"Far from gorgeous and haha niceeee."


She replied and then laid in bed. She was thinking about taking a shower and really considering it. She smiled softly and then yawned. She wanted to talk to him tonight.

Zach finished the shower and got dressed, laying down on his bed, which was the couch. He then texted her again.


Thank you, thank you. And you are the most beautiful person I've seen. Soo, your prom is in three days? Who are you taking?


He sent it to her and was watching Pacific Rim. He was going to video chat her soon.

Ashley was becoming bored with homework so she simply laid in bed and just sang along to her music that was playing. She smiled as she read the text but was becoming curious.


"Very flattering. Yes it is and no one. I was just going to go with Andres as a friend sooo I guess you can say I'm taking him." She sent and then awaited a reaction.

Zach had just bought tickets to Victoria when she texted him back. He knew she was getting curious.

Ashley was becoming very suspicious and then smiled. She then yawned and sighed.


The day of the prom, Ashley was getting ready with Angela. Angela had been talking to Zach about him coming and when Andres didn't come to pick Ashley up, she sighed and sat down on the bench wearing her navy blue dress. This was just the worst night ever.

A car pulled up to Ashley's house, and Zach stepped out with flowers. He then walked up to her and asked, "May I accompany you to dance?" As he asked that, he held out his hand and motioned for her to get up with the other hand, smiling.

Ashley was a little confused by the car that pulled up but she didn't bother looking up. When she heard Zachs voice she looked up in disbelief and smiled a bright smile. "You sure can." She said and took his hand then stood up and kissed his cheek. "You came all the way to Texas just for me. Thanks Zach."

"Hey, no problem. And no hug?" Zach asked, walking towards the car. He opened her door and said, "Your chariot awaits." As soon as she got in he closed her door and got in, starting up the car that was playing This Is Gospel.

Ashley merely laughed and when they got to the hall where their prom was happening, she smiled softly and then walked in with him. Everyone stared and his bands fans down in Texas gasped. The most popular girl in school came and butted in and pushed Ashley away. "Can we get autographs?" Everyone asked as people ran over with paper. Ashley watched and then sighed as she merely went to walk out to the balcony. It was pointless. Even when Zach tried to fix the events of tonight and the fact that this is the first time they met, she just felt like this day couldn't get any worse.

"Alright alright, after the prom. I have to dance with Ashley," Zach said, walking to the balcony. He stood next to her and held her hand. "We need to dance," he said to her, smiling. The Canuck didn't even know he would have fans here. He noticed there was an empty stage with nobody on it, so he might play one song if needed. At least there was a piano there.
