After introducing himself to the reptilian-looking man who entered the room, Corey stayed quiet through the conversation. He would have had a piece of pizza, but he was so nervous he was afraid he wouldn’t be able to keep it down. He listened intently to the information about Olivia and Oliver Twain, because although he had been living in Lockbridge for nearly a year, he had yet to take in much of the local culture. Or culture in general that wasn’t related to superheroes or anime.
He was glad that Dareia and Rango were confident in their ability to bring in the villains plaguing the city, because he wasn’t at all confident in his own.
