Power Limitations:
-Tornado Generation: Will take a lot of energy and a minute before she's able to do it, then she will pass out, which leaves the tornado to its own devices to wreck havoc. Will only be used if absolutely necessary and she refuses to use it in populated areas
-Air Solidification: The change is only temporary and the air will turn back into its natural state. She also cannot hold onto the air, must throw it or otherwise release it. Cannot make the ball of tangible air bigger than a watermelon
-Aero-Telekinesis: Object can't be moving, so can't move people or cars in motion. Also cannot lift anything over 100 lbs and can only move one object at a time
Flight: Can't go too high, as the higher she goes, the colder it gets. She also can't hover, must be moving in some direction when flying
Also weak against fire users, as fire needs oxygen and she produces plenty of it. If she can help it, she's going to try and stay on the good side of any fire users. However, she could also work great with one if she were to have one on her team, being able to enhance their powers

Dareia grew up in a poor but happy family, but she saw many other families in her area that were... Less than happy. After discovering her powers at the age of 13, she knew that this was her chance to make a difference to families, both like her own, families she'd seen in her neighborhood, and anyone else big or small who needed help. Currently, Dareia is trying to establish herself as a real hero, often the butt of the joke for some of the more cocky heroes, villains, and news reporters. She's also trying to save up money for university, wanting to be a meterologist, as it may help her understand her powers and she's just straight up obsessed with meteorology in general. I like. I'm curious as well to figure out how she got her abilities and whatnot. Was she born with them active? Was she traumatized or triggered for them to come out? Or was she a part of the top secret project invested in trying to create supers without the insanity side effect (and evidently was a success)?

No man, they're too fucked up and alien. On the bright side, she's quite the colorful person.

Bio: Not much is known about Layla's childhood except that she was found in a park when she was a baby and later adopted by a couple that found her, most of her childhood was rather normal and uneventful. When she was 18 she got abducted and while she was being tortured by her captor her powers broke out. She froze the man, freed herself and before escaping shattered the man so he wouldn't hurt anyone else anymore. After that she lived on her own. Got a job as a bartender in a night club. Most of all Layla likes to be free to do what she wants and isn't afraid to break the law if she needs to.

Bio: Marina King is the daughter of the rich and well known King family. Her parents own a big company and even as a child she was often taken to various events. She was raised like a princess but never acted like one. She didn't let the money get to her head and was always pretty much a normal teenager. She made friends easily, wasn't afraid to say her mind and while friendly and helpful she knew when to use tough love to get people to do things that needed to be done. When she was seventeen things changed. Marina and her parents had been on vacation when it happened. It was a natural disaster that destroyed their little hut by the beach (a place Marina had insisted on staying in) and fatally wounded her parents while she was brought to a hospital and fell into a coma. Marina woke up when she was 22 and discovered her powers after getting back on her feet.

Bio: An ex-cop turned ex-con. The "blue code of silence" wasn't in effect for Benjamin. Police misconduct saw to it that he was cast behind the cast-iron bars of a cast-cold cell. Terrible things happened to him during a prison riot. After all, cons don't like cops. He tried therapy for the trauma. Months later, his ability triggered like an episode of PTSD.

|| Zack was provided a reasonably average life for a young child, a single parent household and a tiny house in the Hamptons that was just big enough for the two of them. Provided for and loved by a nurturing mother who strived to give him the best life she could, and she did. They never hurt for money and their lives could've been comfortable if it wasn't for her unfortunate son. Whether it was just plain misfortune or infatuation with all that is trouble, Zack had it. What began as a cute habit of a child that stole snacks from the cabinets evolved into a young pre-teen hijacking a police cruiser. He still objects that 'not only was he just a stupid kid' but he only 'took it around the block' it is one of the few crimes on his record. Regardless his reputation has followed him into his new home in Lockbridge and his association with crime is still under suspicion - with the reminder that we are all innocent until proven guilty.

Tragedies happen and lives fall apart, Zack experienced this later on in life. These facts are somewhat vague to the public and different rumors circulate what happened after the death of his mother. She passed and he moved to live with his godparents are the facts but after that things seem lost in translation. Some are under the belief that a gift from his godfather brought him to Lockbridge, supposedly an old building to set up Zack's life long dream.. of selling used furniture. Seems to be doing pretty good for himself with the money too. Other rumors carried on about the 'hell hole' and how life got a little more complicated for good old Zack but how he came to Lockbridge would still be a mystery!

Now a comfortable citizen in Lockbridge for a few years Zack can't help but get involved with the city. This is his home. Yet he finds himself less willing to hide his involvement with crime in this city after the growing acceptance for heroes, villains and the scientists aiding in their creation. He has openly spoken out against the idea of these 'powered humans' 'heroes and villains' and made incredibly veiled threats to the scientists who have involved themselves. Whether by sheer luck, valuable resources or the incompetence of the police force here in Lockbridge, he hasn't quite gotten convicted of anything yet. What do they care anyway? He just owns a furniture store.||

Appearance: Corey used to be a pretty unassuming person. A little on the short and skinny side, with pale skin, messy black hair, and blue eyes. He was never really someone who would stand out in a crowd. For the past few months, though, that’s all he can seem to do. Since his powers awakened, his appearance changed dramatically. His skin and hair lost all color, becoming a blue-tinted white, save for dark markings on his face, arms, legs, and torso. The whites of his eyes are black, and his canine teeth are longer and sharper than average. Finally, he has a pair of dark pointed horns coming out of his forehead. Also, his body is always oddly cool to the touch. It’s not particularly notable, but useful on a hot day.

Ability: Corey can secrete a black ink-like substance from the markings on his skin. He has minor control over the stuff, and can harden it into something similar to glass, forming blades, armor, blunt instruments, anything he might need, as long as it isn’t too complicated. Once a construct is hardened, Corey can’t change its shape unless he dispels and forms it again, and the ink dissolves within a few minutes unless it’s actively maintained.

Bio: Corey has basically been a shut-in for most of his life. He grew up sheltered by a paranoid and overprotective mother, and he was left with lacking social skills and mild agoraphobia. Since he’s started living on his own, he only ever goes out to buy groceries and go to his job at the library. He was a little bit more social up until about three months back, when a couple of guys broke into his apartment in the middle of the night. While Corey was panicking, black goop started covering his arms and hardening into spikes. By the time the burglars opened the bedroom door, they were faced with a set of huge black claws aimed towards them. They were so shocked that they left immediately. To tell the truth, Corey hadn’t even been thinking about defending himself; he was just confused. He was bedridden for the next week, feeling incredibly sick as his body changed in ways he didn’t think possible. Once it was over, he was almost unrecognizable, and he certainly didn’t feel any better about being around people.

Ability: His most notable ability is to reprogram ones body. This means he can change the blood-type of a given person, repair a damaged organ, and even expedite ones ability to heal. He also has a significantly high tolerance to pain which helps him endure many procedures.

Bio: Once a gifted surgeon and a happy husband and father, anybody in the business knew the name Vaitere for his ability to perform any surgery without flaw. The irony of this story is that he could help so many people live on but little did he know his body would begin to collapse. It underwent a violent mutation of sorts with the reasoning being unknown. It is as if his body lost the will to live. His organs begun to cease gradually over time and his mind was being warped by the need to survive. He found sport in killing the deserving, the worst kind of people who escaped an honest punishment via escaping or worse, corruption. It was there he found out that, while this mutation was destroying him, it allowed him to change the DNA of people as long as he had a long enough physical contact. So the scum of the planet would be his batteries and the stuff he didn't need would be donated to hospitals to save those who deserve that second chance. This once proud surgeon-turned-monster only ever kills those who have taken a life because to him a cage is far too generous.

Rose's abilities were triggered by the death of her mother when she was about eight years old. Before then, her father would physically abuse the both of them. Apparently, he decided it was time to end it, with a gunshot to his wife's head. In her shock, Rose made him black out, just in time to prevent him from pulling the trigger on her as well.

Since then, she's never felt comfortable around men, or with making physical contact with anybody and doesn't talk much. At the same time she has a naturally caring personality and tends to be sassy at rare unexpected times.
