Local Host Cafe is Looking for New Hosts!
thoi-diem-uong-cafe-1.jpg
The local host cafe SoL Cafe in the Journey district of Amity City is seeking for more hosts after a break in popularity. The owner, Ruibhal Nakamura, is open to anyone who could be found attractive by customers, male or female or anything. Those who simply want to just have a kitchen job or something along the lines are welcome, but hosts are the top priority. A resume is to be sent containing information needed in order to perhaps get the job.

Please contact number 209-991-8091, email Ruibhal at SoLCafe@gmail.com, or visit SoL Cafe 1980 Trengton Avenue.

The breeze flew by across the many citizens of Amity City as the hustle and bustle came and went. Boarding and exiting the various trolleys, their own vehicles, or simply landing in their designated spot; either way the city was busy as always. The towering buildings above never let in any natural sunlight unless the angels were to help with it or the sunshine folk, but overall it was still a lovely and warm atmosphere.

Behind the glass window in the doorway, Ruibhal stood and watched people pass by as he stared at the sign on the door, the welcoming and warm letters of
OPEN! facing him, and not the folk passing by outside. He seemed to bite the inside of his cheek as he thought, before simply waiting for any new applicants to come before the designated opening time. He stood with his hands folding in front of him, looking as warm and welcoming as always, though his face read worried and partly concerned.

"They'll come," Tai smiled warmly as he delicately patted his best friend's shoulder, "no need to fret, it'll only scare them away."

"I know, I know..." Rubi let out.

"You've said that a few minutes ago. Come on, let's open up the cafe and they'll come shortly. I bet our customers are getting antsy, too." Tai grinned as his golden gaze faltered out towards the window as he then reached his hand out, grasping the sign and flipping it around without another word from Rubi. Rubi sighed, shaking his head with a gentle grin.

He turned his head as he smiled, spotting Kero exit out of the locker room with a bounce of his prosthetics, and Blayze exiting the kitchen with the seasonal display cakes. Blayze simply gave a curt nod as Kero waved with his usual excitable grin before he began to help his boyfriend by setting up the display table right in front of the window on the right, a cute table cloth along with decorative candy flowers in a vase. The season sure seemed to call for delicate and soft items, hmm?

"Where's Raziel?"

Kero paused, "he's falling a bit behind in the locker room, but he'll be out in just a moment."

Erin
It was still early, but the Scale District was already alive and vibrant. Parents walking, some even swimming, and kissing their children goodbye for school, workers heading off to their various jobs, and a few tourists scurried about, snapping the occasional photo here and there. Erin yawned groggily, as she locked up her home for the day.

It had been a late night of painting and sketching and the evidence remained in splotches and smears of the rainbow on her hands. Her stomach growled as she trudged to her usual spot, SoL Cafe. As she merged in and out of crowds, Erin pulled her coat tighter around her. It's envelopment calmed her and her anxiety melted. As she came closer, she could smell the sweetness from the cafe. Her pace quickened as her stomach grew louder.

The sweet smells forced her mouth to water when she finally made it to the door, perking up ever so slightly. SoL was still unusually empty, she noticed as she walked in. Unusually because every time Erin had come to waste time the cafe was happily busy. Strange...was she that early? Noticing that Blayze was still setting up the display table. She double checked her watch and smiled hesitantly.

"Good morning!" she cheered, "am I too early for once?"

"Tell him to get on out here, then. He doesn't have an excuse to have trouble back there."

Perking up at the sound of the door, everyone glanced over. Everyone, except for Blayze, of course. Blayze was still setting up and adjusting the display table, only glancing up towards the regular with his usual cold gaze.

"Good morning, Erin!" Kero giggled, the young man bouncing on his prosthetics with a grin. "Rubi was pushing the opening time, so you're one of the first to arrive for today."

Tai had politely nodded towards Erin before he and Rubi walked towards his office in the back. Rubi calm aura was still around even after him leaving the room, as per usual. Kero glanced towards the two of them and shook his head, looking towards Erin with a roll of his eyes and twirl of his finger pointing towards his head. He then smiled, "the bright side to being early is you get not just really fresh food, but the peace, too."

Blayze glanced towards them with his usual face. He made a grumble as he walked on towards the kitchen after setting out the cakes.

"Sit right on down and remember that we only allow smiles here, missy." Kero grinned, "sit anywhere you'd like, it's not like ya gotta fight for your seat or anything at the moment. I'll be over to ya in just a moment."

And with that, Kero began to walk around the cafe's seating area. Very slowly, customers trickled in. Mostly high school students and college students needing a quick boost before heading off to school. It was very slow at this time of day, to be fair, their partly ally and partly rival ILY A Latte usually had a lot more customers at this time.

Erin
"Oki doki Kero," she cheered, feeling even happier that the shop was her oyster as far as seating went. She decided on a booth near the back of the cafe, mainly because it gave her a great view of the place.

It didn't stay like that for long though. Soon enough people were coming and going as they pleased, all smiling even though they weren't all fully awake yet. Erin felt grateful she didn't have to deal with all the hustle of school anymore, just the usual bustle of work. Except, her artwork was always a great joy to her. Relaxing in her booth, letting her coat slowly slide down to around her wrists, she began to decide on what she'd order today to go with her usual mossdrop tea. Hmm...maybe apple jam and biscuits..no...what about a cinnamon roll..OH.. wait wait I know.. no I don't... Her stomach grew even louder and angrier with each treat she thought up. Maybe today was the day she just ordered everything on the menu. No. She definitely didn't need to put on anymore weight than she already had since she began to frequent the shop.

Patiently, she waited, knowing Kero or someone would be with her shortly. But also, to see what would happen today in the cafe.

Ritsu

Ristu stared at the lines in the concrete as she made her way down the sidewalk. Dark circles sat heavy underneath her eyes and she gave a yawn while stretching. Long nights were the worst in her opinion, even if she did like staying up late, she preferred full nights rest instead. The sweet smell of fresh baked good hit her hard as she approached the small cafe and a smile rested on her face. She wanted nothing more than a hot beverage and cake. Even if her wallet was tight, there was no issue in treating herself after a harsh week.

When she stepped into the space she was happy to find the welcoming atmosphere was starting to help her relax already. She was too tired to really even look around the room. Ritsu plopped on window seat, happily basking in the morning sun. If she sat there any longer with nothing to do she would just fall asleep, so to keep herself busy she pulled out her book from her pack and opened it. A warm cup of hot chocolate would most likely be her choice of drink for the day. And maybe something savory to compliment. Ritsu sat patiently while reading lightly, keeping her attention on both the eventful glow of the cafe and the words on the page.

Kero walked about to check on customers before walking along towards a lady reading a book. He smiled as he always did, gracefully bouncing over as he prepared his usual welcome to any customers.

"Welcome to SoL Cafe, where we only allow genuine smiles and never any tears." Kero greeted, sunset orbs twinkling as he looked towards her. "How may I serve you today?"

Off towards the kitchen, a thump was heard somewhere near it along with a small shout. Kero seemed to notice it with a twitch, the sound only being muffled a bit, but only continued to look towards the customer. He knew who it was. Blayze being a grump again and kicking the wall as an attempt to get Raziel out. He bit back a sigh. It seemed to work, though, as the youngest member of the cafe staff finally walked out from the locker room's doors and into the main dining area.

The teen looked around to find any customers, and with a slight guilty twinge from Kero seemingly covering all of the tables thus far pounded at his chest. Soft gray wings poked out seemingly from the neck hole of his shirt, only the tops of them however, as they pressed on his back. Seems today was one of those days, where his gaze was glossy and his face was calm yet distant.

Kero seemed to glance back towards him, flashing him a calmer smile than his usual before looking towards the customer once again. His tiny otter tail popped out from beneath his shirt, wagging in an odd fashion. Raziel glanced before it clicked in his head.

Looking to Erin, Raziel figured Kero would be busy with the newer customers-- he was the only one in the group besides Tai who was perfect with new customers or rare customers. He walked over toward Erin, smiling softly.

"Kero's a bit busy with a few tables," Raziel let out, his voice softer than expected, "therefore I'll be serving you, hope you don't mind. What's on your mind for today?" His tired eyes never flickered from Erin, as always when serving anyone.

Xiao Kai and Jiyoung

Kai had woken up pretty early that morning to get himself ready for work. He was working at Sol Cafe, but today was different he was finally going to work in the kitchen. Kai was excited he was hoping he could impress the owner so he could get more kitchen shifts. Not that working as a host was bad, he liked the money that he would make from hosting and he liked talking to a few of the regulars, but he had been wanting to move in the kitchen for the longest.

As Kai made his way to the cafe he was stopped as he felt someone grab his arm, he turned and saw Jiyoung clinging onto his arm. “Jiyoung go home,” he demanded, a heavy sigh came out of his mouth as he rolled his eyes. Jiyoung wrapped her arms around her brother’s left arm and clung on harder, “Today you’re going into the kitchen right?” Asked Jiyoung with a huge smile. “I want to taste the first dish you make, please please oppaaa.....” whined Jiyoung as she pranced up and down still holding onto her brother’s arm. Kai scoffed and continued walking not brothering to continue arguing with his sister, he ruffled her hair lead the way to the Cafe.

Eloy arrived to Sol Cafe, he opened the door for his sister and walked in right behind her. Kai looked at his sister and patted her head, “Don't act too cute, cause everyone will fall for you,” he said slightly teasing his sister. Jiyoung flashed a sweet smile at her older brother before taking a seat in a table where she could slightly see the kitchen.

Erin
Oh no worries,” Erin smiled, “I don’t mind one bit!” She likes when Raziel served her, actual she really liked everyone here at the cafe. “Well, maybe you can help me decide.
She scrunched her face in thought looking at the menu again. “So I know I want my usual mossdrop tea buut, I feel like I’m starving with no idea what to eat,” she laughed. “What’s the special today? I’m feeling like something sweet, no surprise, and a lot of it!

Erin’s stomach growled impatiently. Blushing, she quickly moved her hands over it in an attempt to sooth it. The cafe was much busier now, and she hoped the sounds of others were loud enough to keep Raziel from hearing.
