Victoria sighed and rubbed at her forehead. As she laid in her bed, at her dorm in Blackwell. It was a day like every other day, boring and long. With only brief flickers of excitement and gossip to keep it all going, but of course being the Queen made it all slightly more bearable. She just couldn't wait to get out of the Academy and into the real world, Victoria was always known for setting her ambitions big, and planning ahead. But of course she couldn't achieve any of these ambitions if she didn't learn, and Blackwell was the best place to learn. It also helped that Mark Jefferson was her teacher. That helped a lot.

She got out of her bed lazily and went about her usual morning routine. Having her shower, getting ready, applying rare amounts of make-up. (She was most certainly proud of her natural beauty) Before heading out of her dorm, Courtney and Taylor obediently waiting for her as she left. Now being flanked by the two girls as the Queen Bee strolled about her "kingdom" the first class of the day was Photography, something she had no problem with. Entering the classroom and sitting down at her seat. The sun was shining it's majestic rays through the windows as it always did, and the pretty autumn traits were seen from the window, from the orange of the trees, to the leaves covering the ground. She took her phone out and began browsing through it idly, waiting for the class to start.

Max sighed as she walked to her Photography class. She was exhausted. She'd barely gotten any sleep in the past week due to some really weird dreams she had been having. She'd often wake up with a bloody nose and a raging headache. She had been thinking about seeing a doctor, but she kept brushing it off. Max wasn't really one for doctors. If it wasn't life-threatening, she'd be okay. Besides, she had more important things to do. Like take pretty pictures, water her plants, and hang out with Warren.

Speaking of Warren, her phone beeped just as she walked into the classroom. Taking her seat, she pulled out the device and saw Warren's name flashing on her screen. "Hey, Max! I'm thinking about having a video game tournament tonight. You in? Gonna be a rad time."

Max chuckled, replying to his message. "I'll see how much homework I have and get back to you."

Victoria couldn't help but just inwardly chuckle to herself as she saw Taylor once again throw a crushed up paper ball at target of the day, Kate Marsh. It was pretty much routine at this point, but it never got old. And Victoria still didn't question her morals at finding that kind of stuff amusing to watch. Mr. Jefferson was busy on his computer at the front before the lesson properly started and so that did give Victoria sometime to think her day through. But before she could, a familiar face showed up. Max Caulfield, the know it all petite hipster who was a teacher's pet at best. And someone who Victoria despised. She sat there chuckling, and it just irritated the short, blonde haired girl. "Why if it isn't Max Caulfield, arriving..fashionably late as always." Victoria said with a smug attitude.

Max's head shot up at the all-too-familiar voice of Victoria Chase. She had made some rude comment, not unusual. Max scrunched her nose, taking her seat in the back of the room. She put her phone down and pulled out her Polaroid camera. "The bell hasn't rung yet, has it?" she asked. If it had, Max's dreams were really screwing with her. To the point where he hearing was becoming an issue. Maybe she should see a doctor.

Victoria couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment every time she got a reaction out of Max. But at this point, it was almost too easy, the smaller girl was just so easy to bait in with insults. But scrunching her nose up? What was she? Disgusted by Victoria or something. That only served to limit the short haired girl's patience even more. "It's already rang, Caulfield." The bell hadn't rang, but Victoria couldn't resist the opportunity to fuck with the other girl just a little bit more. "And of course, wherever Caulfield goes, her 80's camera is never too far behind." She said with a sneer, directed at the Polaroid.

Max glanced at her Polaroid as Victoria made her comment. Yes, it was old. But Max always had a vintage flair. And Victoria always made a comment about it. Her headache raging, Max was very irritatable. And she was tired of that bitch making snooty comments about Max's life. "Victoria, don't you have any other material besides making fun of my camera? It's getting really old."

Victoria enjoyed getting reactions out of the hipster girl, why? She didn't know, it was just fun, and because she just hated the girl so, so much that it was always satisfying to annoy her at any opportunity. However she saw a growing anger on Max's face, and wondered what was so different about the girl today, usually she just mumbled something in return. But what Victoria heard next really crossed the line. "Oh, someone's getting fearless. Very well, your clothes, they're so bland an uninteresting, a lot like you." She spat out with a glare.

Max looked down at her simple t-shirt, jeans, and hoodie. What was wrong with it? It was comfortable. Max didn't dress to impress. She'd rather people like her for her personality, not her wardrobe. And that was exactly it. Crossing her arms, gathering up some confidence, and pudding her lips; Max was fed up. "Well, Victoria. My personality interesting enough that I don't have to but friends with my appearance, and I don't have to buy boys with my body."

Something was different, Max was different. She was never usually this confident in herself, not to say that she was overly confident, but she was just more so than usual. And Victoria was slightly interested to find out why. She was almost shocked at what Max said next, it was unlike her to insult someone like that, even if they deserved it. Victoria was wordless for a moment. "Excuse me?" She asked, borderline shouted. If looks could kill, Max would be long gone. "I do not do any of that, if that's what you're implying. Caulfield." She was seething.

Max shook her head, seeing Victoria's anger. But Max didn't have the energy to argue anymore. Her head was pounding. So instead, she turned her attention to the front of the classroom. Mr. Jefferson was just about to begin his lecture. So Max her elbows on the table, her head on her hands, she did her best to stay awake.

And then Max had the cheek to just blatantly ignore Victoria like that? Now that was absolutely infuriating for the blonde girl. No one could just ignore her, that wasn't how things worked. But Mr. Jefferson was beginning the lecture, Victoria couldn't stop glaring at Max though, the petite hipster girl who thought she was better than Victoria. "Don't you just ignore me, Caulfield." Victoria seethed.
