He travels around Europe for a time, fighting the Ottomans against the Polish and the Hungarians but looses interest after the fall of Constantinople. He continues to travel across Europe as a minor fighter, but slowly grows to hate the whole affair.
  
  
  Damian stowed away on a Spanish ship and lived in Cuba. There he began his long process of attempting to learn every language in the known world, which amounted to him being fluent in all languages in Western Europe, Arawak, Chinese, Japanese, Latin and Arabic. After news of the victory in the Siege of Vienna, Damian shipped back to France where he fought in Algeria. After that he fought on and off for any number of governments, but especially against protestants.
  
  
  He found himself on varying sides of colonization. At one point he decided to attempt to kill as many famous people as he could for no other reason than it might take up time. The only person who ended up notable was Nostradamus. He was on the run from the Spanish inquisition for a few years, but ended up faking his own death and moved permanently into the New World. He fought for the Spanish against the British.
  
  
  His time in the late eighteenth and most of the nineteenth century was dominated primarily by a focus on entertainment. He was the fort commander during the Green Cross Revolt by Gregor MacGregor, and he was also the one who decided to help him out throughout his life. He joined John Mosby for no other reason than he had the option to, and aided the man in forming essentially an independent state in Northern Virginia. After the war he was disillusioned by the New World, instead electing to go to Japan. Where after four years and seeing the increasing tendency of modernization, he left for Ireland.
  
  
  In Ireland he refused to join the British Army instead backing the Easter Rising. During the affair he got his first major injury in two hundred years, losing his right eye from a bullet. Yukiko was working on climbing up a tree when she heard a shuffling down below her. People usually don't come out to this are too often, I wonder who could be out here? She pulled herself up onto what seemed to be a sturdy branch, as situated herself so that she could look down at the source of the noise. Upon looking down, she saw a guy that she hadn't seen around the area before. That's strange... maybe he's lost? Maybe someone moved in? Yukiko was in the process of looking the boy over when her phone started to go off. Surprised by the sudden noise, she jumped slightly, causing the branch to shake. She lost her balance from the limb, and dropped her phone, along with herself. Luckily, she only fell one branch down, leaving her slightly, but not too, dazed. My phone! Mom's gunna kill me! She looked down to see if her phone was alright, though unless a hawk, she knew it would be futile.
