Linking to a Google Doc

AlbaGuBrath

So I was thinking about making a Roleplay Portal page with all my characters, plots, guidelines, etc. for storage and sharing, and I wanted to put it on a Google Doc. The reason was that I could work on it offline, link easily between sections of the document (because it would be insanely long), and have a single place to link users to.

However, before I undertake such a project, I'd like to make sure it would be allowed. I recognize that it would still be subject to site rules, but that shouldn't be any problem. I'd be happy to send a link to the moderators before posting it publicly, if needed. Would there be any other special rules I'd need to know about?

Finally, if it were allowed, would that actually be a useful tool for users? I'm already working on it for my personal use, but if it included the notes and navigation necessary, would you find it helpful?

I don't think it would, but I'd like to make sure. I want to check on their policy about linking off-site, in case there's anything special I'd need to know.

I've linked google docs into the collab menu on a hosted project before so that everyone in the rp had access to a google doc in order to be able to collab with other members if they wanted to.

If this is against the rules, it would certainly be nice to know so I can take that down.

It is not against the rules :).
