Fantasy Linda's Comet

Linda's Comet is a special event that happens once every century. It is known throughout cultures to have supernatural power and can cause amazing things to happen during its short time in space.


The rp will star a group of friends who were all having a group hang-out and enjoying the view of said comet. It was then that an unnatural electrical surge attacked all of them and caused them to wake up the next day with supernatural powers. The friends suddenly have the struggle of trying to live their lives with these sudden abilities and try not to cause harm in the process. There can be a villain, like a friend who wishes to use their power for their own selfish desires, but not everyone can be one.


You can choose what powers your character receives. The only exceptions to this are invulnerability, immortality, and god powers (powers that are incredibly overpowered and seem to be without weakness).


Romance and drama is to be expected and fights might break out. There can be a certain darkness to it, but nothing completely overboard.

Power: Fire control or basically a fire bender


Bio: The jokester of the group, Danny always thought that everyone just tolerated him because he knew he could be a bit annoying and he never got any attention from the girls. Danny got insecure about everything and just wanted to be hot and when he got hit with the electricity he got just that but i guess the electricity had a sense of humor because instead of making him look good he gave Danny fire bending powers.


Please tell me what i need to elaborate on.

Bio: She's was the calm one in the group, always being the one trying to stay positive even when things went completely wrong. She was the one that planned the group hang-out session to see the comet in an attempt to just have a relaxing night away from school and all the trouble that came with it. She's a bit clumsy and tends to be forgetful at times, but she tries her hardest to help others.

Blue was the first thing that came to mind as Alison saw the comet fly across the night sky. A pure white core with a turquoise tail, it was unlike anything she had ever seen. It almost seemed to come straight out of a dream. "Isn't this amazing, guys?" She muttered in awe as she laid on the hood of her 2000 Honda Civic. "I told you this was an awesome idea!"


Alison had her doubts about this little hang-out session. Sure, she adored her friends, but she didn't know how they would react to watching a giant rock shoot across the sky. She knew how they were and wouldn't be surprised if some of them had fallen asleep while waiting for the amazing phenomenon to happen, In fact, she probably knew who might have already did without even looking. But it didn't matter. She was here now looking up at the comet that is said to grant your wildest dreams.


Well, she hoped it did. She had even crossed her fingers and repeated her wish countless times in her head when she first saw that blue comet appear in the sky. She even let it out in a soft murmurr in hopes that maybe the wish had to be said to come true. She wasn't really one to believe in all that superstitious mumbo-jumbo, but when many cultures around the world all had a similar experience with the comet, how could she doubt it? Well, she could, but she preferred to have a little faith with this one.

Bio: She's quiet and prefers solitude. She's very tomboyish and never really liked things that were considered girly. She works at her fathers garage on the weekends, and has a very good relationship with him due to the lack of her mother. She never really minded, but it was hard growing up. She found comfort with her friends, and made a habit to be with them as much as she could. She's loyal to a fault and tries fiercely to protect those who matter to her.

Villian smiled at her long time friend Alison, "It was a great idea, Ali." She looked around at her friends and smiled. She enjoyed the time she got to spend with them. The blue glow illuminated their faces and Villian felt happy.


"You guys are my best friends. Not to be too sappy or anything but I hope you know you guys can count on me to be there forever. And I mean forever." She closed her eyes and leaned on the interior side of the car. She made a silent wish to herself, hoping that it could come true. No, she knew it would have to.

Alison chuckled and gave a playful shove to Villian. "You're too sweet." She smiled and took a glance at her before staring back up at the comet that had captivated her. "But I'm sure we will stay together. We are like family." She held out her hand and reached for the blue light, reaching as if she might have a chance of catching it. 


She always believed that. She didn't believe in the gang ever breaking up for any reason. Even when the toughest of challenges came their way, she always found a way to overcome them and remained positive. She had to be. If Alison gave up...then she didn't have hope for anything.

"You're right that was sappier than a tree." Danny said with a grin on his face. Looking up at the comet he tried to believe and made his wish. The comet's light reflecting in his blue eyes. His wish made him feel kinda bad and insecure. "I guess you'll be there for most of us." He said quietly.

Fletcher is probably the most boring person you could meet. That's because he is usually found either sleeping or eating. He is quite lazy, but he's still quite smart. Might even be the smartest in class, which is why he doesn't worry and just is lazy. He is also major music lover, playing the guitar and singing fairly well.

Fletcher had been laying on a blanket sleeping before they started speaking. He woke up when they had started speaking and then made an exaggerated yawn. "Hey, can't a guy just nap in peace?" He chuckled then pulled a bag of chips from next to him and started munching on a few, not making too much noise. He held up the bag to them. "Anyone want some chips?" After handing up the bag to them, he pulled out the guitar and played a song as he looked up at the comet. "Well ain't that somethin'?"

"Yeah it really is something, you should make a wish that's what it's supposed to do i think." He said grabbing the chips and munching on a few a little loudly. "This is beautiful, almost as beautiful as you Ali." Danny said blushing a little. He always not so secretly had a crush on Alison but never advanced on it due to his insecurities. He thinks that if he does ask her out that she will just deny him and make him feel even worse about himself so he just sticks to little compliments from time to time.

Fletcher stopped playing the guitar and looked at Danny. "Alright Dan, then I wish for a lifetime supply of food. I mean enough to last ME a lifetime, of course." He replied, putting emphasis on 'me'. Looking back to the sky, he made his real wish. I wish Danny finally gets the guts to ask out Ali. He's noticed it a long time now, not that it wasn't obvious. Danny was always making attempts to get Ali to like him, but he never actually asked her. In time he will. He thought to himself and then looked at all of them. "Any requests for music?"

Villian gave a sly smile, "How about something slow?" She winked at him and shot a quick glance at the pair. Come on kiddo. She closed her eyes and tried to mask her smile as best she could. Everyone knew his feelings, everyone but Ali, that is. Villian never thought she should be one to play Cupid, but at this point it was killing her not to.

"Really? I was hoping for more of an upbeat tune to match the mood." Alison smiled wide and glanced down from the comet to look down at Fletcher. "Besides, you'll probably fall asleep again if you play anything resembling a lullaby." She bent down over the car and reached for a handful of chips from the bag next to Danny.

Fletcher cracked his knuckles. "Alright, I think I got this." He caught on to Villian's idea and grinned. Then he put on a thinking face as Allison put in her own idea. "I can't help being one that sleeps a lot. I think I'd survive the song though. But I believe can incorporate both into the song, so let's see what I can do." He grasped the pick that hecput down a couple of minutes ago then began to play to play a song. It started off slow and smooth and gradually became faster with a happier tone to it, all while keeping a softer, and dreamy-like beat holding up everything.

Of course she ignored me ugh what was i thinking what an idiot, oh hey you are beautiful. That was all that was going through Danny's mind as he looked at Allison thinking she was putting her hand out to him but she was just getting chips. Ugh you are so awkward. "Nice tune. I like how you put both of the ideas together it really shows your talents." He said to Fletcher starting to dance "Anyone care to join me?" He said discreetly looking at Alison hoping that his plan of seeing if she remotely liked him works.

Alison smiled wide and hopped off the car as she finished eating the chips from her hand. "Of course! I love to dance!" She walked towards Danny and put her hands on her shoulders as she playfully swayed against the music. She couldn't help the laugh that burst out of her as she danced with her friend.


This was too much fun. Sure, she was hoping that her gang of friends would have a good time, but she enjoyed this moment. Maybe the comet really was mystical. It seemed to be granting her wish for all of them to be happy.

Leo was considered the loveable goofball of the group. She can make everyone laugh, and excecutes her jokes and actions with perfection. She is graceful, and can be a serious friend when needed.

Leo sat on the hood of the car, her legs dangling off the side and her hands laid back behind her. She stared up at the stars with a small smile. Her braids falling behind her. Her shirt flapped with the soft breeze, and she was a peace for a moment. Like any basic girl, she made a wish when she saw a passing star. She wished for happiness and longetivity with her friends. Simple and selfless, something even her best friends did not realize she was.


She grinned when Fletcher began playing, and she started tapping her fingers to the music.

Fletcher smiled, grateful for the compliment from Danny. "Thanks man, I try." He laughed when Danny got up and started, Ali following suit shortly after. "This would be one heck of a party if there were more of us." He looked up at Leo, who was still sitting on the hood of the car and hasn't really said anything so far. "Hey, is miss talkative not gonna talk tonight?" Leo sometimes called her that because of her constant yet awesome jokes she would make. "Or am I gonna have to start the conversation myself?" He grinned mischievously.

Holy crap it worked Danny thought dancing with Alison I know that she likes me a little at least, I'm totally gonna ask her out now. "Wow great moves Al you really know how to work it." He said laughing "Yeah it would be like a party cuz i brought the drinks. Got em with my new fake I.D. Let's get wasted." He said taking out two bottles of hennesey. Danny was pretty cool and chill he just didn't really know how to act sometimes so it wouldn't be out of character for him to do something as mischevious as this.
