Primeval Night
Lurky Lurk
I suck at coding so you get graphics. But hey! Thanks for checking the thread out.
I’m Prime. Working student with lots of hobbies, one of which is roleplay, hence, the inclination to join RPNation. I’d say I’m a fairly laid back person and will probably reply at sporadic times because my work shifts aren’t fixed per se. But I’ll reply at least 2-3 times a week. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I think RP just helps to exercise my creativity and to keep pushing me to be a better writer. I like OOC chatter so you can catch me on here via PM or on Discord if you wanna use messengers.

Anyways, I’m not a super picky person when it comes to rules. I do have a few guidelines.
HELL YES:
1. Explicit content. If I wanted to read that stuff, I’d go read fanfiction lemons.
2. Forced romantic interest. If it develops naturally, it’s fine.
3. Incest. Nope. Just nope.
4. One-liners. I get that everyone gets writer’s block once in a while, but give me something to work with. Even if it’s a measly five sentences.
5. God modding or controlling my character.
Quick Disclaimer: I prefer playing female roles, but have no qualms playing males and/or anyone and anything in between.
HELL YES:
1. Follow Official Rules for RPNation.
2. Let me know if you become disinterested in the plot. I won’t be salty/mad about it I promise. I’d rather know than be ghosted.
3. Developing plots and worlds together. The more detail, the better.
4. Writing in third person, past tense, paragraph format s’il vous plait. I usually try to match my partner’s word count. Personally, I can write anywhere from 450-1K+, but quality > quantity always!
5. Warn me about triggers. I want you to be comfortable writing with me.
6. Come to me with your original ideas. I like reading plots that you’re passionate about.

THEMES: Modern, Fantasy, Sci-Fi/Futuristic, Dystopian, Horror, Crime, Mystery, Military, and good ol’ Romance.

This section could get a bit long so click the spoiler.
1. I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM (Crime, Mystery, Horror) - TAKEN
Muse A & B are siblings/friends who go out to an ice cream parlour, but find the person behind the ice cream shop murdered. Apparently, the slightly psychotic ice cream man (who sells ice cream from a truck) murdered them for stealing his customers. Now, he’s hunting them both to get rid of the witnesses. (You could easily be the psychotic ice cream killer here too.)
2. BUNKED (Dystopian, Survival) - TAKEN
Set in a distant future. The Earth’s surface is a wasteland. Most of the plants and animals are dead or mutated from chemical radiation in the air. The human race survived only because of large underground bunkers. Muse A was born in the bunker. They knew of no life aside from what the operations are like inside. Life was monotonous, but at least it was safe. In fact, Muse A’s life seems to be going as planned until Muse B comes along. Muse B was a surface dweller who somehow manages to get into the locked bunker. Broken and battered, something or someone on the surface is out for their head. While Muse B’s life was full of hardship as it was extremely difficult to be living on the surface; however, Muse B doesn’t seem to mind it. Muse B would prefer a life up there than to be kept down here. Having discovered Muse B broken into Muse A’s home, will Muse A report Muse B? Or will Muse A help Muse B get back to safety?[/strike]
3. PVP (Meta, Modern, Romance) - OPEN
Muse A & Muse B are hella competitive gamers. In fact, they’ve been trying to one up each other since day one as their styles are complete opposites. While Muse A is spontaneous and headstrong, Muse B is more strategic and calculated. To the online world, they are each other’s biggest rivals despite having never seen each other behind the screen. Tired of playing the same PvP games, they make the competition more personal. While arguing about who’s better than who, both Muse A & B challenge each other to a Tinder off where whoever gets the most dates wins. Little do they know that they swiped right on each other and are now meeting for the first time. Will they fall head over heels in love and put aside their differences or rip each other’s head off because they can’t stand each other?
4. GHOST (Modern, Supernatural, plot credited to Tumblr) - TAKEN
In the prime of their life, Muse A perishes in a tragic car accident. Shortly after, Muse B, who is in desperate need of an organ transplant, gets the call that they’re next on the list for donation. Muse A was an organ donor and because Muse A and Muse B were a perfect match, Muse B becomes a recipient of the vital organ from the recently departed Muse A. The transplant surgery goes well, however there are unforeseen side effects. While in the hospital, Muse B begins to see flashes in the corner of their eye of a person they’ve never seen before, Muse A. At first, Muse B dismisses the creepy sightings, assuming it has something to do with the medications they’re on. Once Muse B’s allowed to go home, the sightings become more frequent and Muse A’s non-corporeal form becomes more vivid. Muse B experiences the shock of their life when Muse A actually begins to speak to them one day, suggesting that they’re now connected somehow because of the transplant. Muse A may be dead, but they’re still hanging around and only Muse B can see them. Muse B is stuck with Muse A’s spirit at their side, and they have to learn how to live together for an indefinite future.
Optional:
I’d love to play Muse B here.
5. SPEAKEASY (Crime, Drama, Possible Romance, plot credited to Tumblr) - OPENOptional:
- Muse A cannot leave a certain distance from Muse B.
- Muse A can hear Muse B’s thoughts.
I’d love to play Muse B here.
Muse A is the first born of a powerful mob boss and Muse B is the child of the bootlegger who supplies the city’s speakeasies with illegal alcohol. Their relationship (friends or lovers) has always been a close one, but there is a new strain beginning to drive them apart. Muse A’s father has begun to strong arm Muse B’s father for a heavy slice of their profits. Between paying off federal agents, taking care of their rumrunners, and buying supplies, there isn’t much left for Muse B to keep in their pocket, let alone hand over to organized crime. Will Muse A be willing to try putting pressure on their father to back off of Muse B’s family?
