Personailty: Matt is tends to be quiet around others that he doesn't prefer to talk to,but will speak up if he needs to or he finds something wrong going on. He does seem depressed most of the time,but he's trying to be a bit more cheerful. Matt never goes berserk on anything unless you manged to hit a nerve.


Bio: You can say Matt's life was screwed the moment since he was born. His mother was pretty sickly most of the time,and having him was a risky move because his mom couldn't handle the stress of labor. Despite that Matt's mom didn't want to have an abortion,you can say she was pretty stubborn about it. As expected she didn't make it long after having Matt dying about 10 minutes after she had him.


Matt's dad didn't really survive with all that grief on him. Seeing Matt wasn't helping at all,especially the fact that he was the spitting image of his mother as he grew older. Around when Matt was 3 his dad passed from grief. So away into the system of adoption he went. It wasn't what you call an pleasurable experience either. Matt would clam up on interviews,which would leave families being extremely frustrated with him,or if he did get to a family he always took off after a few days. So from center to center Matt went as he was tossed from family to family,which lead him to this place which he resides


Why Are You Here?: Parents are dead. No other family available to take care of him.

Personailty: Alexandra is a rebel who dislikes being told what to do, especially if she doesn't want to do it; she won't allow herself to be looked down upon and is definitely not one to 'submit' to others. She believes that if you have a problem with her... keep it to yourself, she doesn't care. She has taken martial art classes for self-defense but that was before she was sent to the orphanage at the age of 14, that doesn't mean she doesn't still practice.


Bio: At the age of 4 years old, Alexandra's parents began to have marriage problems and their arguing grew louder and more harsh. When she was 9 years old her father gave up on the family and moved out to Arizona so her mom decided to move out to Texas but the problem was that neither of them wanted Alex because she was an image of their past marriage so she given to her grandmother. Later on her grandmother began to have health issues and no one was taking up the chance to care for her so she was sent to the orphanage at the age of 14 years old.


Why Are You Here?: There's no one to take care of her, willingly

Personality: Avery has a badmouth and is overall, a tom boy. She hates being flirting with, advances, and just romance advances in general. She is harsh, with a sharp tongue but she is really sweet with her friends. She can have a bad mouth but she loves her friends with all of her heart. Avery doesn' trust instantly and it's hard to get onto her friends list; she knows how to fight and sometimes gets in bad moods where she'll provoke fights. Avery is not a girly girl, and nothing about her is girly.


Bio: Her family was killed when she was five and she's been passed around with her stiff, rude family like a diseased animal that no one wanted, until she was seven when she was finally dumped here.

This brunette is the type waits for you to approach, only to ask questions a mile a minute, he loves to talk and listen, but tends to be a bit of a showoff. This boy can be shy at first but only for a second, he's head strong and tends to be a bit on the weird side; he's not afraid to be talked about behind his back and doesn't care about popularity.


Bio: Jason was born to a single widow, his father had died of a heart attack before he was born. His mother was told she had a diease they could not cure (cancer) when he was seven and he started doing chores for her; he did the dishes, washed the clothes, made dinner and more. When Jason was fourteen, his mother died, forcing him here.

Personality: Preston is sweet and kind, he'll help out anyone who needs it and is very forgiving. He can stand up for himself but usually ignores people that say rude things to him. Preston is pretty hyper and he will never curse. He is polite, smart and responsible, he'll take the blame for someone and will stick up for his friends with extreme loyalty; he's a little dense and slow also he tends to dig his own grave when he talks.


Bio: Preston's mother was taken away by the police for drugs when he was only three and his father left the second he found out that she was pregnant. Preston was left with his older half-brother, who was killed in a drive by shooting. Soon after his brother's death, his mother was released from prison but not even a month later, she was back in and Preston moved in with his grandmother but as she grew weaker, his grandmother had to send him to the orphanage, and she moved to live in a retirement center.

Personality: Layla is a kind person when she's alone, catching her alone is the best time. She's cheerful, happy, honest with a permanent white smile on her face but once her friends appear, she turns into what she thinks they would like. She does what she's told with no questions but shes learning, slowly, to stand up for herself. She takes good care of herself, she's very strict on stuff like brushing her teeth, her hair and washing her hands. Layla is use to being alone from her childhood that's why she struggles to be what people want her to be.


Bio: Layla was born in Britain, when her mom left her dad, they moved to Ireland when she was six. Her dad was crushed, he often left to drink, leaving Layla and her brother to cook for themselves. When her dad died of alcohol poisoning, when she was fifteen, she moved to america, alone, when a police officer heard she was fifteen, he put her into this orphanage

Personality: Harvey is a fun, but laid back sort of guy, he enjoys watching from the sidelines rather then playing the game. He's cool headed, and it's hard to get under his skin, but once you do, he'll verbally whip you down. He's not much of a go getter, mainly thanks to his depression, which hits at the worst of times. He's the type to let you pick first, letting you have the better of stuff over him; Harvey will always back down, letting you be the boss.


Bio: As a kid, Harvey came home from school to see his father with a young girl, he never told his mother. His mother finally caught his father, and his father admitted that Harvey had seen, he hurt his mother terribly. Soon he started to argue with his mother and before he knew it. She dumped out on the roads. Harvey got a letter from his mother saying if he needs to come home, Find someone else... She wouldn't be there for him... Ever... Again.

Personality: Diana has grown to be very self reliant and independent. She usually doesn't talk to others unless she feels like it. She's an artsy freak and focuses and cares for her art more than other people and doesn't care what they may say about it or her. She keeps her distance from others and doesn't like to get involved with their problems.


Bio: Ever since her dad died in a car accident when she was 6, Diana's mother had been mentally unstable and uncaring of her. By the time she reached the age of 10, her mom became a kleptomaniac which lead to her arrest two years later after it began. She knew no one else in her family so Diana had no other choice but to come here.


Why Are You Here?: Mother was arrested and no one else can take care if her.


Likes: Drawing, painting, being alone, thunderstorms

Name: Lucas, he doesn't know his real last name.

Personality: Lucas is broken, depressed, and confused on the inside about why he seemed to never truly be loved or liked by anyone. But on the outside Lucas gets a long easily with those he finds nice, Lucas as well is pretty calm and collected. He is pretty hard to anger but when Lucas becomes angry he tries to stay to himself and not yell. But Lucas is very kind and caring to everyone even those who may be mean to him, Lucas hates seeing people sad.


Bio: Lucas was supposedly born in a place in Scotland which gave him a slight accent, but that is all that's truly known as a fact about Lucas. After Lucas was born he was brought to an orphanage, he lived there until his second birthday which was when he was taken in by a family. But after three years Lucas was brought to another Orphanage to soon be adopted by another family but they soon gave him up as well. And so on and so forth Lucas having been part of eight different families in his lifetime not including the one that is about to give him up in the beginning of the role play, around his sixth family Lucas stopped talking because he knew at some point he would be given away. This constant rejection from multiple people has caused Lucas to fall into depression and cut when he can.


Why Are You Here?: No one wants him.


Likes: Writing, reading, photography, music, travel.


Dislikes: Loudness, Sports, cracking knuckles, his bright eyes.


Other: Lucas wears old crew necks, his only possessions being his Ukulele and notebook.

Personality: Gabe is an upbeat, optimistic young man. He is sweet and charismatic, and always puts others before himself. He makes friends easily, but because he's tossed around from orphanage to orphanage, he also loses them quickly. Gabe doesn't let his negative emotions show easily, and it takes a lot to make him angry (or at least he doesn't show it). However, he has suffered from panic attacks since he was 11. They are rare, but when they come he does his best to lock himself in his dorm so no one else has to deal with it. He may not be the smartest person, but he makes up for that with his people skills. He's into romance and dreams to find his soul mate (even if that is a little cheesy) and he's great with kids.


Bio: Gabe was born into a poor family, and his parents couldn't support him. They gave him up to an orphanage soon after he was born. Since the orphanage he was given to was not very large or well-known, not many of the kids there were adopted. When Gabe was 10, the orphanage closed down due to multiple health code violations and he was sent here.


Why Are You Here?: No one wants a kid that's almost an adult. The window of opportunity has closed; he's just counting down the days until he can finally leave.

Isaac was forced into a case of mutism from a tragic car accident in his life that also landed him where he is today. The accident caused damage to his throat, severely damaging his vocal cords in the process, and could have killed him if he hadn't been rushed to the hospital - but luckily, they saved him, just not his voice. He is unable to communicate verbally to other people, making him the quietest kid in the foster home. He communicates with his actions and gestures and expressions, giving him a lot more character than many of the kids there, and has been viewed as a generally caring and very thoughtful young man, despite his inability to speak. He has a small whiteboard that he seldom carries around with him, since he'd rather communicate through actions, but will sometimes be seen with if he knows the occasion will involve some required talking. Though he is mostly a nice kid, you'll sometimes notice a difference in his usual light, warm silence. It'll sometimes become a colder, more drowning silence, an aura that you'd want to avoid. He falls into wells of depression at certain times, and it'll be easy to tell - he won't be a part of the conversation nearly as much, and he'll be much more still and blank. But these moments don't happen often, and he tends to hide away in his room whenever they do. But over all, Isaac doesn't let his silence bog him down, and uses his expressions, gestures, and whiteboard just as effectively as he would use his voice.


Bio:


Isaac didn't have too many challenges in his life. His family was lower-middle class, so they had a modest amount of money, maybe a little below the norm. His parents always had a twinge of tension between them, and although fights weren't all too often, passive-aggressiveness was a sure thing in the home. It wasn't ideal, but it was something.


When Isaac turned thirteen, his life flipped drastically, and very, very suddenly. A car accident was fatal to his father and mother in the front seats, and in the back, debris had managed to give a concussion and horrible injuries to the head and neck area to Issac. They rushed him and his family to the hospital, and although there was no hope for his parents, they managed to perform some meticulous surgery and save Issac's life with only one consequence - the loss of his ability to speak. When Isaac woke from his anesthetic slumber once the surgery was over, confused, frightened, and shocked, the doctors had to explain his situation to him, and also had to deliver the unfortunate news of his parents' passing. This sent Isaac into a long spiral of depression that lasted for months before it finally began to settle. Isaac managed to get a hold of himself and start working on who he was with this disability of his, and was put into a foster home in the process since he had no other living relatives, where he learned the hard way how to get himself to interact and communicate to other kids in the homes he was moved to and fro from. He was eventually bought the little whiteboard and a few markers to help him out with his problem, and although he doesn;t use them often, he will sometimes be seen strolling around with them.


Why Are You Here?:


His parents were killed in a car accident that also caused his muteness. With no other known, living relatives, he was put in this foster home.


Likes:


Isaac loves the rain. He loves thunderstorms and lightning-storms. He enjoys being around positive, talkative people, and he also enjoys comforting people with hugging {he's great at it, mind you} and anything else he could do to help, despite his disability. He loves coffee, the color dark brown, small pets {kittens, puppies, rodents, and snakes}, and has a liking for romance deep down in his heart.


Dislikes:


He really dislikes superiority in people. He tends to keep himself distanced from those types of condescending people, and would rather keep to himself in their company. He doesn't like very slimy things {like toads and slugs}, despite his adoration for many reptilian creatures, and gets irritated easily by ungrateful people - or more like people who take little things for granted.

Name: Leslie Farrah


Age: 17


Personality: She's pretty much a pain in the ass to be around. She's very monotone and deadpan in the way she speaks, and comes across apathetic, emotionless and uncaring until others experience her temper. When it comes to dealing with others, she's easily irritated, and doesn't speak about what's on her mind. Very few people know what she's like around people she genuinely cares about because save for her mother, there are no others she genuinely cares about. She's rebellious in the sense that she likes to stir up trouble, and clever enough to get away with it. She takes care of herself just fine after spending years taking care of herself and her mother. She's also perceptive, and can see through most people (which is why her tolerance for bullshit is zero) and she never lies, preferring to be upfront about everything. People know where they stand with Leslie (unless she likes them, then she makes it difficult for you to know where you stand because she doesn't want people to know she cares). Still, her perceptiveness, makes her occasionally and surprisingly good around people when she tries. Although she never tries. She surprisingly does well in school, however she constantly gets in trouble.


Bio: Leslie doesn't know much about her father, doesn't care to either. She only has vague memories of him and has even more memories of her mother taking care of her as a child. At first, her mom and her were fine. But then her mother's history of mental illness began to catch up with her as the years went by. At times, her mother wouldn't get out of bed or so much as eat if Leslie didn't push her to and other times when mother's bipolar disorder would take a turn for the worst, she would disappear for several days, leaving a young 10-year-old Leslie to take care of herself. It was only a matter of time before someone noticed, and her mom was admitted to a state mental hospital and Leslie, only 14 at the time, was put into foster care. She was returned to her mother's custody after a while, but her mom was readmitted recently once more because of drug use. Leslie herself worries about what her mother's medical mental history will mean for her own future, although she never says that aloud. She's also in danger of falling into the same path of drugs and disobedience that had likely sped up the progress of her mother's condition. When in foster care, Leslie often acted out in minor misdemeanors - vandalism, smoking, trespassing, being out past curfew, stealing, etc. However, as time goes on these misdemeanors are getting worse which is something that not even her spectacular grades can cover. Her grades in school were always top notch, it was a result of not wanting to be more of a burden on her mother. And one of the reasons Leslie is almost robotic in the way she speaks and expresses (or does not express) emotions is because she's seen what having too much emotion had done to her mother.


Why Are You Here?: Leslie's mother is mentally incapable of taking care of her.

Serenity is a generally nice boy, he's a bit out of it at times, has his head always up in the clouds. He doesn't like to show when he's upset and has a hard time making friends because he's always keeping to himself. He's afraid that if people know what he's really like that they'll hate him too just like his parents. Also, because he's a bit of an airhead he's fairly clumsy as well. He's a very loyal/attached friend, even a bit clingy.

Ever since he was young he found that he liked hanging out with girls more and playing girly games like dress up or barbies, house, etc. His parents were worried but they figured he would grow out of it. As he grew up he learned that this wasn't normal and he hid it, he hid his love for cute frilly things and the fact that he liked wearing dresses and jewelry more than cargo pants and hoodies. He also found that he was attracted to guys and not females. He wanted to tell his parents, but felt that he couldn't because when he was young he said something like 'I want to be a girl' and their reactions hadn't been the best. But one night when he had gone out, in girls clothing of course, his parents were home when he came back. He hadn't expected it since they said they would be out for the night. Of course they did not react kindly. His father yelled at him asking what was wrong with him, why was he such a disappointment, while his mother just dropped to her knees and started sobbing 'Why couldn't I have had a normal boy?' Serenity was extremely hurt, why couldn't they just accept him for who he was? Well, he would never know. That night they ransacked his room and pestered him with questions of course he answered them all truthfully. In the end they decided to disown him, sending him to the orphanage. Because of this Serenity is now very insecure about himself and is afraid to trust others. He tries to hide his love for girly things and sexuality as well.
