Life in a Vault (Sign Ups)

This is a roleplay based on the game Fallout, if you've no idea what Fallout is why are you even here?


The main thread contains the story and, once your character is confirmed, the actual roleplay.


Rules:


1. No Godmodding


2. I am the Overseer. That means there are no other overseers.


3. No Amata's or duplicate names from the game or other characters.


4. Characters must have a first AND last name.


5. No Mary Sues.


6. Pip-Boy3000A models are distributed to Vault dwellers over the age of 30. This model is clunky and weighty. Pip-Boy3000B models are for Vault dwellers that entered under the age of 30. It weighs about three pounds. Any model under 3000A is not allowed whatsoever. If your character is under the age of ten, you are not given a Pip-Boy.


7. Two characters per person maximum.


8. Tingles is second in command in the rp. If I don't respond, you answer to him.


9. Murdering any vault resident even out of self defense is subject to execution.


10. NO SUPER MUTANT CHARACTERS. No ghoul characters unless permitted. No characters can be played freely until the character is approved.


11. Humans and Dogs/Cats must be sanitized before entering and exiting the greenhouse.

Okay now that that is posted and figured out...I will tell you Vault 26's purpose.


Vault 26 was specifically designed to maintain life of unmutated animals and vegetation in a giant 'greenhouse' underground. The Vault was admitted various species of these animals and plants, and are maintained regularly by the Gardeners of the Vault and the Overseer. This includes frogs, lizards, monkeys, flies, wasps and anything else that wasn't mutated beforehand.

Appearance: An average sized African American male. He's wearing a clean and tidy Vault 26 security uniform. His hair is short and brown with white streaks flowing through it. He's slightly built, but not too much. He has a holstered 10mm and a tattered police baton.


Personality: He's not a very patient man, he's made himself known for this. He's quite violent, too. He's not particularly nice to anybody, but that's what makes Gary fit for his job. On the other hand, he is very fond of children.

First and Last Name: Terra Annika Hale


Age: 26


Race: Caucasian


Height: 5'5"


Appearance: A woman of average height with muscles toned from working in the vault most of her adult life. Her short point-cut(sharp looking at the tips) layered hair hair is a dark chocolate brown and her eyes a striking deep blue. She always wears one of her many Vault suits and keeps all of them clean when she can. She wears a black utility belt on her waist which she has her holster(in it a 10mm), a ammo pouch and a combat knife sheath. She carries her combat knife and her 10mm around with her for protection.


Personality: She is very quiet and shy towards many of the Vault's occupants, however she is also very friendly towards them too, and speaks with a lot of sense and wisdom when faced with a challenge pertaining to her Overseer job position. She likes to be alone a lot and doesn't really have a temper, being mainly the calmest and most relaxed person in the Vault according to some. She tries her hardest to make the people of Vault 26 as happy as they can be.

He is an older man with a strong body earned through years of manual labor. His remaining hair has taken on a healthy whitening. He often wears a course beard in some state of disorder or another, often going weeks with out trimming stubble. He is tall but not freakishly so, His size is just enough to make such a old man intimidating. He has exceedingly dark green eyes that light seems to get trapped in. The palms of his hands are tough and calloused. He wears white button up work shirts and brown slacks. His clothes are often covered in a fine layer of dirt or stained by some thing or another.


Personality:


Jackson is a stoic, he chooses when to be cold and when to show affection. He is known for being a hard worker and a generous friend. He has a genetic distrust for authority and has a libertarian view on how things should be run in the vault.


History(Optional):In his youth Jackson was a trouble maker and was often locked in his room under order of the overseer. He spent much of that time trying to devise ways to escape his "cell" and succeeded a few times. Ultimately he settled down, finding a new love for gardening. He was married to a sweet young thing by the name of Doris. Complications during childbirth took her away from him and he has resigned to live his life of solitude. Taking care of his plants.

looks:

James has a good sized beard, one thats accepting, yet somewhat intimidating. He doesn't mind arguing over morally whats right. He doesn't mind having a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.


personality: James is a young guy, and can do the work of two men. His morals are strong, but has a tendency to act out on anger. He's known for his temper, especially if he has some whisky in him. He was a teacher.


history: James was never really one to get in trouble. He was more of the type that just did his homework. He was a good student, always had his homework done, stayed after class for help if he didn't understand what the material is. now he doesn't know what to do, he can teach or take care of plants.

Name: John Clark

Race: Caucasian


Looks: 5'7, 165 LBS, cut build, bright blue eyes, clean shaved, medium military faded brown hair.


Personality: Pretty funny guy. Finds a joke with everything. If you take yourself seriously he wont. Finds his passions are in the old world things. Books, art, dance, anything he can get his hands on. He has a vast curiosity out life before and the outside world.


Bio: John was as still is very active. He is always found running some where or trying to get in peoples work. He likes to help out with anything he can and talks and talks and talks. This makes his Job as Value psychiatrist subject to scrutiny by pretty much everyone and to be honest most people try and talk to the chaplain before him. However it's hard to not like his up beat attitude or constant questions.
