Fantasy Life & Death

Tasteless

Boink Bean

The world is average, no aliens no monsters, no fairytales... Right?

Wrong.

Unknowing to the humans, they aren't the only species living within their big blue world, mother nature created these 'monsters' at the same time she created Humans, they are just a little special.

Vampires, scary right? not as much as you'd think, most live to be thousands of years old, meaning their craving for human blood is not as intense as you'd once think. Instead they often feed off of animals. Deer, elk, the occasional bear or cougar. Most are happy with this non-murderous life style, while some on the other hand  prefer to prey on the innocent mortal. It is easy prey, after all. The sun issue? not likely with most 'innocent' vampires, those who refuse to feed on humans were gifted by the Vampire government (Chastire) a special ring to not only track them, yet make it so they can appear in sunlight. Those who have not been gifted this ring, cannot come out within sunlight or risk being burned and scarred. This of course, doesn't happen during overcast or incredibly dark days.

Werewolves, gross, stinky, wolves are on two legs. Well, that's not true. Partially anyways. They shift into true wolves, massive, bear sized wolves. Nothing can be said about the being stinky, of course. They are dogs after all. They are capable of eating human food, and animals. Humans are not on their list of food, given their treaty to defend humans since they began to walk this planet. Many werewolves and humans can coexist. Werewolves and vampires can as well, occasionally. The only issue resides in human, vampire coexistence. As this often leads to missing humans, and werewolves having to track and slaughter the murderous vampire.

The Human government knows nothing of these 'monsters' and humans have no idea either, besides the occasional who has witnesses massive wolves or has been attacked an eaten. Then again, do they really count, they were slaughtered after realizing they were prey for the mythical creature, after all. Chastire , (the vampire government), refuses to allow vampires to expose themselves to humans, as that results in anarchy of humans to exterminate the vampire kind. If a human finds out about a vampire, one of the two, or both, is slaughtered in order to keep the species safe.

These creatures are spread across the wolves, yet in one primary state.

Welcome, to Fairbanks Alaska. Home to the Moose, and the occasional Monster.

Can these three species live together in harmony? Or will the vampires succumb to their primal instinct, and prey upon the innocent mortals. Only time may tell, perhaps all will be fine. Or perhaps, it will all be a bloody disaster.

Sounds pretty rad, you got me interested. Be tight if there could be some sort of bad blood between the two species? I think it

d keep things interesting.

There will be bad blood between werewolves and vampires. They have a treaty but they despise one and other.
