Let's Start a Band [Inactive]

He paused slightly, as if deep in thought.

"You know... Do you wanna skip school sometime? I've never done it myself, but it sounds as if you could use a break. Either that or I could come to school with you. I mean, I'm not exactly body guard material..." he flexed his barely existent bicep in mockery of himself. "But I've learned to stand up for myself, so doing it for someone else can't be terribly hard."

He had no idea why he was offering this, but it just felt right.

Chase grinned a mischievous grin. "This should be good fun! Where do you want to go? What day do you want to skip for that matter?"

"Definitely Monday. I hate Mondays.." Camryn said, her face scrunched up in disgust. "We could do anything really.."

(Sorry I was watching Sword Art Online xD )

Chase pursed his lips and nodded thoughtfully. "I hear ya. I think Garfield feels the same way. Well... You thinking a movie? Or... Since we are being rebellious and skipping school... We could go do something rebellious. Like... Graffiti-ing bridges! Never done that either... This is your street right?" He slowed down in front of a peaceful looking road.

(Sokay! Where the heck is everyone else? xD )

"Yeah..sounds fun.." Camryn agreed. "Yeah, it's that house, there." She pointed to a pinkish house. Ugh, pink..

He pulled into the driveway of the pinkish looking house. Huh! Pink. That's new.

"Are your parents home? If they are... We might have a bit of explaining to do." he said sheepishly.

"Yeah..they don't really care, so we're good.." Camryn clarified, heading to the garage. She put inthe code and stepped inside, rushing to her beloved drumset.

The garage was her bedroom as well. She had posters up, a bookshelf full of books, and a black rug. She sat at her drumset and turned around, facing her wall, on which her collection of drumsticks were mounted. She decided against using her favorite sticks and got up, heading to a drawer full of plain sticks. She grabbed a random pair, ripping open the packaging and sitting back at her drumset.

"It's not much...but it's home.."

(Had to do a Harry Potter reference...it is part of my name)

Chase popped the trunk of his beat up maroon car and pulled out a silver keyboard. He looked around in awe at all the posters and paraphernalia that dotted the garage walls.

"Man... This is wicked cool. Not to mention you get total privacy."

Chase set the piano down and plugged it into an unoccupied outlet. He played a few chords, tweaked the sound, and tried a few more. He smiled, satisfied.

(No shame in that ;) )

((Guys, you can afford to let us in here. v_v;'))

"Oh, well, I'm not sure if many others would agree, but Lilo and Stitch is arguably the best movie I've ever seen," Chester said, but his comment was buried under layers of conversation. He glanced between Chase and Camryn and smirked slightly. Quietly, he added, "Glad to see that you two are getting along, then." He listened along silently for a while, once in a while raising his brows at Lila and sipping his coffee. Eventually, he leaned back, furrowing his eyebrows. This was actually getting a little bit personal or him to continue listening in.

"Actually, guys, I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but we've only been here for ten minutes, and besides, we're not all here yet. We should probably at least wait until the singer gets - " and they were gone. He sighed, audibly, but not bitterly. "I'll follow them. You can hitch a ride, I've got plenty of space." He slid into his sky blue '72 Chevy Impala, sticking his keys in the ignition. The car wasn't in perfect working order, but it got the job done. It had been passed through two generations of the family, so he was attached to it, even if it wasn't particularly attractive what with the rusting and sputtering.

((Terribly sorry! We weren't excluding anyone. It's just... No one was here :P where've you guys been? We've had nothing to do so we just kept going xD ))

((wow im sorry i had school shit and also wasn't getting notifications but im here now))

"Wow, I think they like each other." Lila said, slightly dumbfounded. "I guess we're gonna have to follow. I'll text Autumn that the place changed I guess. I feel kinda bad though." She was talking mostly to herself at this point, pulling out her phone and messaging the absent singer. "That's not exactly what I planned on happening today, but whatever." She followed Chester outside.

Camryn looked down at her drumset, bangs falling into her eyes. She shrugged. "I have no idea. Um.. maybe.. try finding something that goes with this." She played a bit on her drumset, waiting for him to join. Her bangs fell in her eyes again, and she messed up. "Okay, I will warn you, I am ten times more unattractive when I pin my hair up.." she said, pinning her hair into place with a bobby pin. She cleared her throat nervously. "Let's try that again.."

Chase laughed. "Nah, you look great." He stretched his fingers, as to loosen them, and followed her beat. The sound that ensued had a slight new age feel. It was rather upbeat and the chorus was driving.

Blushing, Camryn smiled at him. She kept going, switching up the rhythm, but bringing it back to the original, as if it went from verse, to chorus, then back again. As she played, she imagined what it would sound like once they had all the band members together, when all the instruments combined to make an awesome song... She began spacing out, not paying attention to her drum set and accidentally hit the drums too hard, breaking her drumstick. The top half flew up toward her face. She yelped and fell backwards off her stool, landing on her rear. She groaned, looking at the drumstick that was now broken. "I frickin' knew that would happen.." she grumbled, grabbing another pair out of the drawer and shuffling back to the drum set.

(Oh geez, sorry guys, I haven't been on in so long!! ;^; )
