Roger is your average small-town nerd hoping to hit the big time. Hailing from a poor town in South Carolina, Darlington is bent on getting out of the state through being discovered in the entertainment scene. He recently started up a Youtube gaming channel in hopes of getting exposure through doing one of the things he loves best: playing videogames.

So, when he heard of a new virtual reality game in which the player was supposidly truely immersed into the world of the game, he decided that it was a golden oppurtunity to get new content for his channel.

He is a sociable, jovial young man whose empathetic nature clashes dramtically with his favorite type of character in an RPG, the uncaring, morally questionable rogue or assassin.

As for appearance; he stands a good 5'9 and has quite a small build. His hair is dark brown and bushy and his eyes are a deep blue. He is caucasian, but has a slight tan due to where he lives.

Welp here's my character

Mira is a self-proclaimed genius who is shrouded in mystery. She rarely divulges into her own past, never telling her age and origin. However, if one were to judge by the sound of her voice and accent, they would probably guess her to be an American high schooler or young college student. Her interest and hobbies vary from book collecting to gaming, but she’s always on the lookout for something new to amuse her. The only reason she plays DKO is for the hope it will live up to the hype.

She can neither be considered antisocial or affable. One moment she’s an outspoken person and during the next she’s quiet and observing. Her comments can be considered abrasive at times as she tends to speak her mind with a complete disregard to another person’s feeling.

Mira stands at the average height of 5’4”. Her dark brown hair is shoulder length and usually kept in a ponytail. Her most defining aspect are her eyes, which are a golden amber color.

Stefan H. Morin is a 16 year old teenager hailing from Sacramento, California. And is secretly a famous hobbyist artist known mostly on the internet as NocuousVex. Where he shows off his skills when it comes to the art scene, posting his digital art for the world to see on whatever site that allows one to do so. He does commissions and streams, he wears a mask when he does stream, and his original art is mostly just strange-looking but very pretty.

Upon hearing the news of a new VRMMORPG coming out with supposedly lush world, and hopes to find new inspiration for art as he feels he's nearing an artist's block. Stefan is a person who isn't exactly very sociable, often seen to just be quiet and observing of his surroundings.

Though the reason for him being very quiet isn't that he is awkward around people, he just has nothing to speak of. Nothing at all. Though when he does speak, he has a tendency to speak his mind clearly and is usually very straightforward with his words. And as such, can be seen as a a bit of a harsh person. If he thinks what you've created is terrible, he will say it bluntly to your face without hesitation.

Stefan has a skinny build, and stands at a 5 feet and 8 inches. His black hair goes down to below his neck, is seen as a complete mess and is frizzy most of the time. His eyes, much like his hair, is the color of a pure black. Stefan is also a closet fan of anime and the such, and is even more so when it comes to his favourite thing about anime. Lolis. He's a closet lolicon.

Marcus Leventhe is a 22 year old Adult who works as a bartender in a quaint seaside hotel in Singapore.

Being born mute, Marcus always had trouble finding friends and getting along with others, usually being bullied and treated like an idiot in school. Living on his own, Marcus welcomed the tranquility of being by himself, though when he heard of the new VRMMORPG, curiosity led him to try it out just for the experience.

Because he is mute, he may come across as aloof and uncaring to others. He has learnt sign language but not many people learn it so most of his communication was writing his words down on paper.

Standing at 180cm, Marcus has short black hair which is combed back. His eyes are light blue and he has a simple pair of spectacles. His dressing resembles that of a butler.

Ian Dimare is an 18 year old man from New York, New York. He has shoulder length, dark brown hair that is often tied in a low ponytail. While he is Caucasian, his time roaming the streets on New York has left him with a slight tan. Rather tall for his age, Ian is 6'2" and has broad shoulders. His mother has always stressed the importance of exercise, so he is in good physical shape. On most days, his attire of choice is a black t-shirt or collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up, blue jeans, and black motorcycle boots with brown soles.

Ian was raised by a single mother after his abusive father lost custody when Ian was three. Growing up on the streets of New York City gave him a slightly violent approach to life. While he isn't necessarily quick to anger, he is very willing to resort to violence if he thinks it's appropriate. That aside, Ian is very loyal to his friends and all around pleasant to be around. He may put on a tough front, but he cares deeply about his friends and would walk to hell and back for them.

He enjoys heavy metal, video games, and card games. Street smarts are Ian's forte, and as such his grades were only just above average in school. Ian decided to get the game as a present for himself for graduating high school without any problems. Sarcastic and dark humor always manage to get a chuckle out of him, and he is very capable of taking hits, both verbal and physical.

He is very protective of his mother, and any insults to her often result in a violent rage. Always encouraging his artistic pursuits, Ian is talented in both singing and piano playing, though he is very reluctant to demonstrate it. Cooking is a talent that he is working on cultivating as he wishes to be a chef as a lifelong career. When it comes to RPGs, Ian prefers to be on the front lines of combat, focusing on speed over strength. Despite this, his weapon of choice is, oddly enough, a greatsword. Paired with a dagger, Ian has thought of some unusual fighting tactics for the game. His primary worry is finding a group to play with that is willing to deal with his experiments in combat.

All of her time that isn't used up going to school she spends playing video games, primarily MMOs. Emilia gets really into her characters, usually roleplaying as someone completely different while in game, not showing any of her real-life timidness. The specifics of her characters and personas change from game to game, but a few things are usually consistent: she almost always plays as a male and if there's an option to have animal ears her character will have them. When DKO was announced, she of course reserved herself a copy. No way was she going to be late to play the newest big MMO. Though she's heard that the avatars look like their owners in real life... so she's a bit concerned about that. If she wanted to play a game as herself she'd just play Outside, the shitty IRLMMO that continues to get bad reviews from the people that play it.

After graduation, he immediately went to a law school in the United States on a scholarship, where he still studies today to become a prosecuting attorney. He takes his studies very seriously, but do to a work ethic he's cultivated he has a lot of extra time for games such as these. A very serious young man, he acts almost solely based on the law and the rules set for him, disregarding any emotional attachments in favor of a strict adherence to the law. Always a fan of excursions into the fantasy world, the amount of freedom in a VRMMORPG intrigued him - an amount of freedom others were sure to abuse.

His skin is well-tanned, while his dark brown, almost black hair - which already has a light dusting of gray hairs - is cropped short over precisely shaven stubble on his jaw and upper lip. Almost always drawn together in a frown, his eyebrows create some light wrinkles in his forehead, and frown lines are also present near his mouth. His eyes are a blue-gray, and he looks at his surroundings with a piercing gaze.

While he had a guild of players and many other online friends that wanted him to stay in the last MMORPG that he played. He bought a copy of Demon King Online upon release to play with his IRL High School friends to reconnect with them after four years of hard work, studying, and gaming at the university.

Appearance wise, Tian is a lanky. pale, glasses wearing, Chinese dude in his early 20s, standing at 5' 10" tall and 125 pounds. He has medium length, messy black hair that is swept mostly to the right side his face. His clothes sometimes smell like smoke as he does smoke occasionally, but he is in the process of quitting through waning off after having been a smoker for 6 years. Tian is reserved, but when it comes to in game stuff he is a lot more vocal as in most games he was the party leader and forced into leadership role enough that he became comfortable with at least the responsibilities that came with the role.
