So, I fancy myself a bit of a cartoonist and tend to enjoy drawing other people's characters, so I'm going to take a shot and open myself up to the masses. So, post a reference picture or description of your character, and I'll see what damage I can do.


And as an example, here's a character of mine I created a while back: Stacks Goldenbriar, the halfling bard

Dynamic lineart. Niceee. Do you use a brush-pen or just a regular brush? The line variation seems just too large for anything else.

Thanks! I actually use Faber-Castell felt-tips of varying size for most of my inking. I do own a brush pen, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet.

Hmm... I'm curious, can you draw one/two of my characters? They are Stark and Asher, and they are trickster twins, one of whom always lies and the other always tells the truth. (Personality reference because of the cartooniness!)


The identical brothers stand at a height of 6'0.. They both have fairly shaggy black hair, they style it specifically to look a bit messy. With large blue eyes, androgynous faces, and slender figures, the two could be mistaken for twin sisters quite easily. They usually wear very nice clothes that change based on the day. Their typical fairly timeless attire is a dress shirt and a suit-vest with a tie, and nice pants. One thing that doesn't change, however, is that you will never see the pair in anything that doesn't look stylish.
