- About the Warriors of Legend:
The Warriors of Legend are those who inherit through their bloodline an ancient spirit when the previous host dies or becomes too weak to sustain them. The spirit will lie dormant until a certain time in the host's life when they will awaken to their power. Each person will experience this event differently ranging from pleasurable to painful. With the awakening, a brand of the Spirit's symbol will also appear. After the warrior awakens, the spirit becomes a type of parasite, sharing the life force of the host. With training, the warrior can strengthen himself so that the sharing does not hinder himself, except in events when the spirit's full abilities are used.
A few guidelines first if you want to be a Warrior: 1. The Warriors can be good or bad. 2. You can choose to be awaken or not. If your character is not yet awakened s/he can still use that element but at a very novice skill level. 3.If your character is Awoken then s/he can use various levels of the element depending on how long they have been awoken and how much they have trained. An Awoken Warrior can also communicate with the Spirit telepathically. 4. Also if Awoken they will have a tattoo/brand of their body somewhere of the Spirit's symbol. ***I have been playing with the idea of letting the Spirits have a physical form as well. I will take a poll and see what you guys think*** 5. And last but not least, The Warriors have to be of the proper race. I will allow hybrids but their warrior blood cannot be too diluted. I will limit the mix with the grandparents or parents.
Warrior of Lir-Water-Beast
Warrior of Bel-Fire-Demon
Warrior of Anu-Earth-Elf
Warrior of Shu-Wind-Fairy
Just a little background and ideas for them. For Regulars, the main bad guy has been terrorising the lands for some 5-600 years so there is plenty of ways they can be drawn into the fight to bring him down. For baddies, Arys runs an assassin's guild. Most under his command have never seen him except for a select few. All lower level assassins recieve their orders from their Commander. If you choose to have one of the selected few Arys trusts, then you will get orders straight from him. The Guild's choice of communication are crows. Arys will at times have a black wolf deliver a message.
Arys Korinth (Main Baddie)
The Korinth family was once one of the most powerful families in the Elvin kingdom. Extremely talented in magic with a long family line of brilliant magi. When the twins Arys and Aryn were born, unrest was felt throughout the family. Twins are rare among elves and they are said to be the personification of yin and yang. Unfortunately, this turned out to be true. At a young age, Arys started to show signs of a growing darkness within him. His family hoped that they could contain the darkness but as his power grew, the more power he craved. When he was seventeen, Arys defied his family and left home in search of more power. In his studies, he learned of the Warriors of Legend and the fact that Tiamat may still be around. He was determined to make that power his. After a few years of searching legends and lore, he figured out that the cave from the legends now lay beneath the Human castle in Jarek. One day, while traveling he ran across the king and pretended to be injured in attempt to gain access to the castle. The king, being a kind man, took him in and within a matter of days Arys gained the king’s trust and the power of Tiamat. Arys started to twist the mind of Jarek’s king to do his bidding. Tiamat’s power was intoxicating and he wanted to have a reason to use it. He convinced the king to start the war and he used his abilities to transform the normal army to one of ruthless monsters. When the Warriors of Legend came to the field, Arys withdrew and disappeared from the fight, abandoning the king of Jarek to his fate. It would not benefit his plan to be found out so early. The war ended and peace fell over the land. Arys continued to travel and hone his new abilities and learn even more. Eventually, he found his way to the land of the Demons. He learned their powerful dark abilities, taking them as his own. As the years passed, he met a demon woman and fell in love with her. For the first time in his life, he no longer seeked more power but rather to settle down with this woman. After marrying her, he took her back to his hometown of Elisedd. This action ruffled many feathers, but with his family’s status, there was nothing they could do to him. The other nobles tolerated the woman’s presence. That is until they found out she was pregnant. This struck fear into every nobleman in the Elvin land. The Korinth family was already stronger than most, but their offspring could be dangerous to the entire world. They tried many times to assassinate the woman while she was still pregnant, but Arys intervened at every turn. The night that she gave birth was their last chance. The council headed a full-on attack. This caught Arys off guard and they succeeded in killing his wife. However, a nobleman by the name of Kadama found the newborn children. With his own selfish endeavors, he stole the children and reported them dead. Enraged by the death of his wife, Arys left home, vowing revenge on the people of Elisedd. With the power of Abzu, Arys formed a guild of assassins that rivaled any the land has ever seen and he returned 500 years later to revenge his family and to kill the host of Abzu, the only spirit who could match the power of Tiamat. In doing so, he will have no rival on the battlefield.
Aryn Korinth
Aryn is Arys' twin sister as well as the polar opposite of him. When Arys became the head of the Korinth house, Aryn left shortly after. She did not agree with the way Arys represented their name. His cruel and dark ways did not sit well with her. Instead she left the Korinth house and moved to Lullin. She made her place among the middle class, healing those who were sick or injured. However, she still kept her eyes and ears to the south. She always kept tabs on her brother, watching his actions. She has a pet Snow Fox, Naoki, that will run errands for her at times.
