Sara LeAnn Greene

Sara sat in her cage looking at the other slaves. She sighed and leaned back against the side. It is really boring. The owners never let the slaves out to play. Sara cannot wait to be adopted. She toyed with her collar. Hopefully someone will buy her. Her collar colors aren't exactly colors that masters look for in a slave. "Grr!" She grunted out of frustration. She had little hope in finding a master. Much less one that will treat her good.

Cat nervously fiddled with the star on her colorful collar. What if she didn't get chosen? No, she couldn't think like that. Someone would like her enough to pick her, Catalina was sure of it. Straightening her shoulders and putting on a sweet, inviting smile, Cat watched people examine her and the other slaves. She hoped she was chosen by someone who would be kind.

Luke layed there crying thinking about how long he had been kept in the back of the store. He wanted to be chosen and be loved but nobody ever came to the back to see him. He wasn't a needed slave/pet. His tears had begun to make a stain in his sheets. He thought to himself -I wish someone would finally choose me- he drifted off to a crying sleep as the day went past ever so slowly

Opening the glass door into the Slave shop, Lucious accidently burns the handle off into a pile of molten waist.

"oops...!" He appologizes, quickly trying to pick it up and turn into a handle again. Trying to blow on it, he looks around and eventually blushes, leaving the slush of melted metal behind.

Walking into the store, he doesn't quite know what he's looking for. He stops by and looks at every cage before stopping on one in particular. This girlwas something very different...

She has Green eyes, red hair and a piercing, confident look. Her cage is labled "Catalina"

"oh hello, what do we have here? What is your name?" he askes, knowing he can see the answer, but wanting to make her say it anyway.

As he sits on the dirty floor, his chain link shirt (over his black long sleeved shirt) clinks to hit the ground and his black jeans limply fall around his legs.

Catalina was happy that someone had came up to her cage but blushed when she was asked her name. "My name is Catalina, sir, but some people choose to call me Cat." Her cat ears twitched as her ginger tail swished back and forth happily. This man seemed nice, and he was cute too.

Janie leans her head against the side of her cage in boredom. She stared out the bars not sure how long she had sat waiting. She had no way of keeping time. It was a bit nerve wracking not knowing what was going to happen. Wether she would get chosen by someone or not or if she was chosen what kind of person would choose her or what purpose she would serve. There were so many possibilities and her mind seemed to go to the worst conclusion possible. Although someone else could probably think up something worse then her, but time had turned her fear into boredom. She hoped someone would end it soon. She had gotten tired of waiting.

He smiled unnaturally wide. He almost never smiled genuinely, but this was one of those times.

His smile fades quickly. "How could they possibly keep you in these kinds of conditions? This is terrible!" he says, looking at the small cramped space she lies in. He stands and picks up the entire cage without warning at all and brings the cage to the front counter, glairing at the shop keep.

"Clean this place up, bastard." He says, handing over the money required as stated on the cage. 'Standard. $20,000'

Not stopping for a reply, he snatches her key, kicks the door open and steps into the outside world, unlocking her cage immediately.

"Well? What are you waiting for!"

With her eyes wide, Cat hesitantly took her first step into the outside world. She stretched her back and shook out her fiery locks before grinning and giving her new owner a biiiiiig hug. "Oh, thank you so much!" It felt wonderful to be outside with actual sunlight hitting her and warming her. Her tail swished as she purred loudly, snuggling up to her new owner with genuine happiness.

Sky walked into the slave store and looked around "hmmmm,Who should I buy?" an evil smirk creeping across his face "I want a protective but virgin but I like them freaky too" he told the clerk unsure of who or what he'd find here

It took him a moment to de-tense himself, but once he did, he found himself able to hug Catalina back.

The pressure on himself was not one he was familiar with. Actually, nothing physical was required from him, needed someone to be with, so he could quell his anger with laughter, or smiles. He liked smiles.

After hugging her he examined her 'clothes,' (could you describe what you're wearing?) questioning her while he does so.

"How long had you been in that hell of a hole? Did they hurt you?"

Sara LeAnn Greene

Sara watch the cat slave get bought. Her new owner seemed pissed about our living conditions. A few minutes after they left a guy walked in and told the clerk what he was looking for. Her eyes doubled in size, and she looked down at her collar. Maybe he would take her? "Hehe" She giggled.

Catalina straightened out her dirty, semi-torn t-shirt, she shook her head a bit. "About two years, sir, and no I wasn't hurt that much...But I didn't get enough food." Cat looked down at her unhealthily skinny body and had to keep a hand on her grey, stained sweatpants that had grown too big for her over the years. "Other than that, I was only punished when I didn't obey..." She resisted the urge to shudder as she remembered all of the slaps and punches she had been dealt.

Today was the day she finally decided to do it.

To be honest, little Annelise had been considering doing this action for quite a while. She was more-so deliberating the choice, contemplating the pros and the cons of it, until on that day in time she finally decided to muster up the guts to go out and accomplish it. She was nervous, to say the least - but she wouldn't let her little knot of anxiety weigh her spirits down. She was going to free someone from their confinement of solitude and neglect in the slave shops and bring them to a place they could call home - with a little bit of a job, might she add.

And so, here she strode. A black, flowing blouse was fitted atop her shoulders, a black camisole underneath proving as extra coverage. White skinny jeans were fitted to her legs, as well as her prized black, scuffed, Dr. Martens combat boots on her feet. Her slender neck held a delicately forged chain of silver, fitted on it a small charm of a cross to show her status as an angel, and her brightly colored, yet mismatched eyes were surrounded by smokey make-up to simply define their luminescence, her pale blonde hair well-kept in her usual, short faux hawk. Her steam-grey wings were folded neatly behind her back, and the people who passed paid no mind to them - for in this time and place, such qualities were normal to see on life forms. Although, her delicate stature very much so earned her a second glance or two.

Her stride was even and slow, her stomach knotted in slight anxiety. She knew what she would be looking for - yet she was anxious as to seeing if she would find it or not. She continued on, bearing closer and closer to the slave shop step by step, her wallet filled with the money required for slaves tucked safely into her back pocket.

After a few minutes of walking, she found herself standing in front of the doors opening into the large building which held the servants she would be browsing. The thought of 'browsing' for people to buy disgusted her a bit, but she swallowed it down and stood still and silent for a moment, staring at the doors.

With a slow, steady push forward, she opened the doors and entered the place, nearly gasping and walking right back out upon seeing what was inside. People locked in labeled cages stood around the room, which although was elegantly decorated to seem appealing made a small noise sound in the back of her throat in plain horror. She stood very still, frozen on her place, staring at the occupied cages. Dear God...

No matter. She couldn't change the way this society worked. But she felt better knowing one of these people would be going home and escaping this hellhole with her.

With another swallow, she began a slow pace forward - a very slow pace - as she began examining the cages, attempting to put on a more serious, business-like demeanor. There wasn't much of a selection, the majority of the cages containing females. It wasn't exactly what she was looking for at the time, and the corners of her lips turned down into a small frown as she gazed around, her wings flicking out very slightly in a nervous manner as gazes fell upon her that weighed her heart with sadness and anxiety. Her gaze darted around, yet she could find any one of the slaves as what she was looking for.

Until her gaze fell upon a cage at the very end of the building.

It was a young man. The very sight of a male in the store made her eyes round slightly in curiosity and her head tilt to the side in a similar emotion. She stood still once more for another small moment before she began a very slow stride forward to approach, remaining hesitant as she did so. Upon further inspection, she saw a feature behind the male, something that immediately struck her heart with grief, depression, pity, sadness -

Wings. The young man was an angel, just like herself. His pale face was streaked with tears, and her own seemed to tingle with similar tears. Although he obviously would be larger than her outside of the cage he was placed in, he looked so...fragile. She approached his cage with a slightly quicker pace before reaching it and reading the information on his label.

Luke B. Morrow

16 Years of Age

Species of Angel

There was silence from her as she gazed at the name, Luke. For a full few seconds, she remained silent and still. After these moments had passed, her expression began to soften and melt into one of warm kindness, her stance relaxing as her instincts pulled her even closer to the cage, as if magnetically attracted, as if the boy was made to be her decision today.

She knelt in front of his cage, and with a small grin of warmth, her mismatched eyes sparkling, she spoke in her soft, quiet voice, remaining hesitant as to not frighten the young man.

"...Luke, dear?"

[ Apologies for the low quality of the response. Having a bit of a writers block tonight. >.> ]

At this, Lucious's mouth hangs slightly open.

How could this be okay to her?

"y-you.. will never want for anything again, i assure you!" He stuggles out, repressing his emotional state to look strong.

He took her right hand in his left and waved his right, opening a gateway into his home in Hell. Hell is commonly thought to be a bad place of torture, but to the contrary, Hell became a paradise after the Adave war of the beginning. Looking inside, a warm fire in brick fireplace warms up a healthy looking polished wood home. A chair sits near a table and stack of books and a smaller one sits next to that. The smaller chair is labled

'Dee'.

Lucious holds his arm out and holds back another wave of emotion as he speaks with action.

Cat's mouth gaped as she looked inside the portal to see a warm, inviting home. She looked at her new master with love and happiness, "Thank you. Thank you so much, sir." She took his arm gingerly and stepped through the portal, enjoying the warmth the fireplace created as her purrs grew louder. Words couldn't express how grateful she was to her new owner.

-dreaming- I hear a voice.... It's a beautiful voice... It's a female voice. She sounds familiar but distant. Where is she...

I see flashes of a beautiful woman, I could see her but I couldn't. Her voice was soothing. Maybe... Just maybe that would be the person to finally get me away from these cruel people here in this hellish place they call (the store)

I awake to her voice saying my name. I slowly look up too see if its her, tears immediately streaming down my face when I see its her. "Y-yes madam......

The young man awoke, and she could almost feel her heart break into two at the emotions swimming in his eyes. Her expression of calm faltered for a moment into an expression of heart-wrenching sadness before she re composed herself, returning her features to the warm calm that they were previously etched in, her eyes remaining slightly saddened at the timid appearance of the young man, yet friendly and welcoming all the same.

She spoke again in a soft tone, "...I'm Annelise." She paused for a moment, glancing at his surrounding environment with the depression beginning to show in her multicolored eyes. She glanced back at the young man and smiled kindly, saying, "You look like you'd be quite the handsome young man with a smile." She paused for a moment, gathering up the courage to ask the question she very much so desired to ask.

"...How...how would you feel about coming home with me, dear? You seem like you could be quite the helper, and you also seem like you could be a very wonderful boy. I just wouldn't want to make you go anywhere you wouldn't want to, so I would just like to make sure." Her tone became timid and careful at her question, not wanting to take the young man away if he was satisfied where he was. She highly doubted that thought, but asked the question anyways, her conscious wanting to make sure that he would be alright with the transfer.

I wipe my eyes and try to look up and hear the girl speaking to me. My ears not very good after all the yelling and beating I had taken last night. I try to smile at her. "Annalise.... Your name is beautiful" I say with an ever so obviously sad smile. "Are you gonna hurt me and do bad things to me like the rest of people here.... Sadness and depressed withdrawal beginning to creep back into my voice at the thought of another person to take me and beat me mercilessly. I had been the owners personal anger toy so naturally I was afraid to move and her see all the bruises through my ripped up clothes. "If you take me away... If u beat me.... If you torture me.... Please at least let me keep my precious bunny..... "I chocked on tears and my voice faltered as I sat up with my only possession. A stuffed bunny made many moons ago. It was flighty and had known every tear that came down my face but it had been with me through everything since I was born... I couldn't loose it..... I just couldn't....

Sky still walked around looking for the perfect "help" he saw a tattered boy with a bunny being looked at a red haired girl had already been picked up, Sky would much rather a boy but if he had to settle for a girl he would,However he hated to settle and so he continued to look around the store

Annelise's wings twitched as she listened to his compliment, a small smile creeping onto her pale lips. It disappeared as quickly as it came, though, as he started to question her on the treatment she gave. Speaking of how his treatment had always been beatings and abuse and pain. About how the only possession he would ever want to keep is the small stuffed animal he held in his arms. The sight and the sound of it all made her feel so very saddened. She really had quite literally never felt so depressed over another person in the majority of her life. Her folded wings seemed to droop slightly as she fell silent, piercing blue, watery eyes of the young male gazing back into the now dimmed emerald and sea blue of her own, and she found herself lapsing into silence as she stared at him with tears threatening in her eyes. She had never realized how very sad these people were. In fact, hearing about the abuse and the constant physical torment made something burn in her heart. It wasn't consuming her emotions, although it was firing her up, making something change in the air surrounding her.

It was anger. Anger that anybody would be so cruel and harsh as to do such a thing to these poor creatures.

Her gaze, although remaining gentle, became very, very honest as she spoke in an authoritative, collected, yet similarly honest tone, "...I assure you that no such acts are tolerated within my household. I promise you that you will never carry another bruise or scar inflicted by a master ever again in my care. That is a promise." She straightened her legs to stand and said to him, "I'll be right back, now. It's time to let you feel like the true person that I'm sure you are."

With a turn, she strode towards the counter, taking the wallet from her back pocket and taking out the money required for the young man. It said $25,000 on the label, and that's what she was willing to pay to put the young angel into her care. Setting the money onto the counter and pointing out her desired person, the cashier gruffly dismissed her with the keys to the young angel's cage, and she very boldly dismissed herself over towards him, kneeling in front of his cage once more.

Grabbing the padlock, she stuck in the key and, with a turn, let it click open and fall onto the ground with a small clang. She stood once more, opening the cage door slowly and going to stand a little ways away from the entrance to give the young man room, her light gray wings spreading themselves just very slightly as she artfully threw the keys back onto the counter and let her gaze fall onto the young angel once more.

Her features lit up with a bright smile.

"Come on out, Luke. We're going to go home."

Janie laid down curling up in a ball. She closed her eyes sighing and tries to move away from the cold bars, but no matter where she moved to she was always touching them in some way. She gave up and sat up brushing her hair behind her ears.

-I slowly come out of the cage not aware of my new masters kindness and still thinking about my dream and about what this new master may do to me if I do something wrong. I find my old tattered collar and chain and snap it around my neck and put the chain in her hand and walk silently beside her, my head down... I, not being used to kindness still awaiting the torture that was surely to await me. "Um.... May I ask u something... Master... " I quietly ask trying not to upset her in any way, my body throbbing in pain with ever single step.

Annelise frowned slightly upon watching him place a collar around his neck, and he walked to her side, placing the chain which connected to the collar, as if he was some type of dog who was going for a walk. She didn't like this treatment, and before they began to walk, she stood slightly on her toes - she was a good amount shorter than the young angel - and unlatched the collar from around his neck, taking the chain connected to it and wrapping them very nearly into a more easily portable circle.

"There is no need for that, Luke. You aren't my pet. Here." She reached to very gingerly take his arm, and she bent it so that there was a small crook in his elbow, and once she had situated him correctly, she slipped her arm through it, shooting a sidelong grin at him before she then began to walk, going outside of the store into the open air and beginning a pathway home.

After a minute or so of silence from her new helper, she heard him speak in a very timid, careful tone, asking if he may ask her a question. She turned her head up towards him to give him a warm grin of approval, saying kindly, "Of course you may, Luke, go right ahead."
